Super portable and powerful!

This massage gun is revolutionary because of its small form-factor. Athletes will appreciate the portability as it is very convenient to take along to competitions, it measures only 6 in x 5.3 in x 2.25 in. My son has already asked if he can take it with him to his swim meets! It feels very sturdy and well made; it is coated with a rubbery material, making it easy to grip and hold securely. It also comes with a nice case that will keep it protected while traveling. It is very user-friendly, and not hard to hold; there are 3 speed setting, I find medium works well for me, while my wife prefers low speed. Also, it is pretty quiet compared to other brands I’ve used. I used this on my legs after I went for a run, and they felt pretty refreshed after, compared to the soreness I felt before. Therabody (new name based on website) claims over 2 hours of battery life, this seems accurate based on my usage. 2 hours is probably enough for me and anyone else who is using this on the go.
The drawbacks of this device are minor ones at most. Due to its small size, you probably won’t be able to reach some parts of your back. Keep in mind, even with its small size, it weighs 1 lb 8 ounces, for some, it may get tiring after holding for a while. Another drawback is that it only comes with one head, additional heads are $20. Lastly, the cable and charging block feel lower quality than the massager, and the cable is a proprietary connection. I would have hoped it was USB or USB-C, as so many devices are these days.
Pros
- Very Portable
- Compatible with heads made for other Therabody products
- Comes with case
- Easy to use + hold
- Build qulaity
Cons
- Only one head (Additional heads available separately)
- Proprietary charging cable
- Charging block feels of lower quality

Why did I not buy one sooner!
on May 8, 2020

from New Jersey
Overview:
This is the first drone I’ve ever owned, I had considered purchasing one in the past for my vacations, but didn’t. The whole drone scene seemed a bit overwhelming, especially if you don’t know anything about drones, there are so many different drones available, you have to learn how to fly it, not crash and know where you’re allowed to fly it. After spending 4 days with the Mavic Air 2, I can tell you it’s not as complicated as I had thought! Anyone can be up and running within 30 minutes! Unbox, assemble propellers, charge the batteries and register with the FAA.
Tip: when you register your drone, make sure you go to the official FAA website: https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/register_drone/
I mistakenly googled “FAA drone” and clicked on a link without paying too much attention, it took me to faadrone.org instead of the .gov site, (I had inadvertently clicked the top google ad that showed up). It’s a 3rd party drone registration site that tries to charge you $30 instead of $5! Good thing I realized my mistake before I submitted my info.
Unboxing and assembly:
I have to say, this is one of the nicest unboxing experiences I’ve had, everything about it feels and looks like a quality product! The drone, remote and all the accessories are neatly packed inside the soft travel bag. In addition to the drone and remote, the Fly More kit includes 2 extra batteries (total of 3), total of 12 propellers, charger, 3 neutral density filters, and 2 extra joysticks. Everything is packed neatly in individual plastic bags.
To get started, you need to download the DJI Fly app, attach the 4 propellers, and charge up the batteries. The included charger can hold all 3 packs and the remote controller at the same time, I believe it may be charging the packs 1 at a time, since the LED blinks on 1 battery at a time. If you don’t want to carry the long charging bar with you, you can simply bring the cable, this will allow you to charge 1 battery at a time.
Time to fly:
Since I live close to a small airport, I had to drive 15 minutes to a nearby park to use the drone (this was one of the reasons why I didn’t purchase a drone 2 years ago). Once at the park, I did my pre-flight check, removed the gimbal protector, turned on both the drone and the remote. A bit nervous, I pressed the “auto take off icon” and the Mavic Air air came to life and lifted off the ground, it stopped a few feet off the ground and waited for my command. This thing is amazing, I was blown away at how easy this drone is to fly! It takes a few minutes to get used to the controls; the drone eliminates a lot of the dangers of flying such as taking off, landing and avoiding obstacles. After a few minutes, I felt confident enough to let my sons take a turn at flying it (ages 9 and 14). It would take more practice to get some nice, smooth video, but it’s not very difficult as I had imagined it would. Many, many years ago, I was really into RC cars. If you’re not used to driving a RC car at 35+MPH, you can easily crash it and damage it. This is not the case with this drone, I even had my son try to crash it into me, but the sensors wouldn’t allow him to. The handling of the drone is very smooth, it responds to commands quickly and is very predictable. When you’re done flying, you can manually fly it back to you or press the “H” button and the drone will return to where it started from. The sound emitted from the 4 propellers are a bit loud especially if you’re close by, it sounds like a loud swarm of bees.
Conclusion:
After testing this out for a few days, I’m hooked! I wish I had it with me when I on vacation visiting the National Parks of Utah! I’m looking forward for the beaches to open up so I can take this there and get some nice scenic videos.
If you are considering getting a drone, definitely take the Mavic Air 2 out for a test flight. I’m not sure how this compares with other drones, but this one is very easy to get the hang of.
I wish this included a more comprehensive manual, the quick start guide wasn’t too helpful aside from setting up the drone. I checked the DJI website, but there isn’t a comprehensive manual either. Perhaps it’s still in the works. On a side note, there are some helpful videos on the DJI website, I found the “First Flight” video very useful.
Pros:
- Easy to fly
- Well-made product
- Excellent video and photo quality
- Fly more bundle includes everything you need
Cons:
- Lack of detailed manual

Nice sturdy grip for video work and selfies!

My first impressions of the Sony Shooting grip as I unpacked it is that it’s is well made. its sturdy and has a comfortable to grip in both left and right hand; the buttons are easily accessible in either hand. The tips of the legs are rubber to prevent slipping and scratching up surfaces, nice detail. Press a button on the left side and you can pivot the camera back and fourth, a button on front aloows you to swivel cameral left and right 360 degrees.
I used this shooting grip with my Sony 6100, it was simple to setup to the camera. Simply Insert the CR2032 button in to the battery compartment on the handle, turn on the camera and in the menu, go to “Network 2”, “Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl”. The grip has buttons to take photos, videos, zoom in and out, and there’s a custom button.
I can see it being useful for a vlogger, taking selfies or take with you on vacation. It may have come in handy last Summer in England. During the changing of the guards, tourists on top of tourists, each vying for a photo/video of the guard ceremony! An extra reach of approximately 6” may have been good.
Overall, if this is what you’re looking for, a small tripod that you sit on a table to take videos and a very good shooting grip, then this is the one you want.

Good balance size/features/function/image quality
on January 15, 2020

This camera could not have come at a better time! I’ve been a long time Canon SLR user, starting with a Rebel XT, the most recent one I had was the 6D, a full frame camera. After seeing how small (relative to Canon SLR’s) the Sony mirrorless cameras are and the beautiful photos my co-worker was getting from his Sony (6500), I decided to make the switch. It wasn’t easy as I had several nice lenses, flash and camera to get rid of. There were several factors that convinced me to move from Canon to Sony. They are as follows:
- Video autofocus: The Canon 6D I had lacked autofocus in video mode, for me, video mode without autofocus makes the video feature pretty much useless, if my subject moved closer or further, I’d have to refocus manually. What I love about the Sony is the video 4k quality (with autofocus) and the 1 button to start and stop recording! I didn’t have to switch to video mode, then press record.
- Intuitive menus: Menus on the Canon’s are not as intuitive as I would’ve liked. I found the menus to connecting to an iPhone or an iPad to be very confusing and frustrating. Perhaps I just didn’t understand the logic of their menus although I’m fairly tech savvy, so I’m not sure. The menu on Sony 6100 is logical and laid out in an intuitive manner. There are some settings for the camera where there are several pages of menus, but the dots on the bottom of the menu and the “1/3” in the upper right hand corner lets you know where you are, nice subtle touches. I was even able to setup “Favorites” easily.
- What you see IS what you get with the Sony – With my old camera, the exposure might look fine through the viewfinder, the line is where it should be to get a good exposure, but the picture often comes out darker or lighter than expected. With the Sony, the image you see on the screen or electronic viewfinder is the image you get. Much less chances of missing the shot you were hoping to get.
- Size: as mentioned above, the size of the Sony is very compact! With the 16-50 lens, I was still able to fit it in my ski jacket pocket. I can’t get over the features and technology Sony was able to fit in such a small, compact package and it weighs about half as much as my previous camera!
Usability:
The Sony feels very nice and solid but I wouldn’t go as far as to say it very comfortable to hold. Its compact, there isn’t a lot of surfaces that is molded to fit your hand. The screen can tilt and flip, perfect for vloggers! You’ll notice when the screen is flipped over, the bottom right corner is partially blocked by the eye piece. Not a big deal to me as I’ll probably never use that feature, maybe annoying to some. Speaking of screen, while it is technically a touch screen, its can only be used to tap on focal points and zooming during playback mode. You can’t use the screen to change settings, it would be a bit small (3”) to change settings on it anyway, buttons are probably easier. All the buttons are nicely laid out and easy to understand. To find different scenes (macro, sports, night etc), you have to go to SCN first, then select the scene from the sub menu on the screen.
Features and performance:
The Sony has all the features one would come to expect from a SLR. The features I was pleasantly surprised by are “HDR” and “Panorama”. With the HDR, the camera will take multiple exposures of the same image and combine the images. With panorama mode, the photo takes multiple images as you slowly rotate the camera, when it’s done taking the photos, it’ll stich them together creating 1 wide image. Yes, these features are available on phones these days, but it’s a nice feature to have on your camera.
Transferring images from the camera to your phone is very easy with the “Imaging Edge Mobile” app. On the camera, press menu, scroll over to “Network – Send to Smartphone Func”, select the camera’s WiFi and use the app or the camera to select the photos you want to transfer, that’s it!
The included kit lens, f3.5-5.6/16-50mm, is decent for beginners. If you’re somewhat serious about photography, you’ll want to upgrade to a nice prime or zoom lens that offers lower constant aperture.
Battery life could be better, you’d definitely want to pick up an extra one to have in your bag (NP-FW50, retails for $60) and maybe even an external charger.
Conclusion:
Overall, I really like this camera alot, it’s the perfect balance between price, functionality, features, image/video quality and size. For a vacation, I’d take this over a point and shoot any day to have the flexibility of interchangeable lenses. I’d say this camera is good for someone looking to get into a SLR camera through intermediate photographer or someone more advanced but doesn’t want to lug around heavy a camera bag!

Full of features in a small, efficient package!
on November 25, 2019

This Canon TS6320 printer was a nice little surprise, it’s full of features in a small footprint that is perfect for NYC or any city where space is precious. The design is nice and clean as well, perhaps a bit plain, but it’s a printer I suppose.
Setup was simple, remove all the orange tape, open up the 5 ink cartridges and insert them into the printer. Power up and follow the prompts on the (small) printer screen, connected my phone to the printer’s Wi-Fi, I followed the instructions and I was able to print via Apple Air Print in about 3-4 minutes. I also downloaded the Canon PRNT app for the iPhone. It’s a great app that amakes it easy to manage your printer and print photos, documents and other items directly from your phone.
What wasn’t as easy to setup was the scanner. Unlike other all in one printers I own or have owned which can be setup to scan to email, Cloud or NAs from the display screen, the setup for this scanner can be setup only by using a PC and installing the Canon utilities software, not a big deal. I used the enclosed CD (if you don’t have a CD-ROM, you can download from Canon’s website directly, the CD takes you to a webpage anyway). https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/ts-series-inkjet/pixma-ts6320?tab=drivers_downloads
Once installed, the scanner worked flawlessly, you can set it up to scan to OneDrive, a folder on your LAN, email program or your local computer. What I wasn’t able to do is initiate a scan from the printer itself. In order to scan, I have to place the item I want to scan on the glass, boot up my PC, open the Canon software and initiate a scan. A bit cumbersome, but it does get the job done. There isn’t an automatic document feeder so scans and copies have to be made 1 page at a time. It’s the price you pay for having a small, compact footprint.
Print quality is very good. I tried printing a few documents from my phone and my laptop. Each time the printer sprang to life, a strip of LED lighting lit up and the bright LED light moved back and forth until the document was printed. Kind of a neat feature. Another totally unexpected feature at this price and size is the output tray automatically pops out! This is a great feature to have. In the past, I’ve definitely wasted some paper because the tray wasn’t ready, the paper would get crunched and the ink would be smeared! This printer also duplexes!
Overall this is a great little printer that is very capable. I was amazed by the features that was crammed in here, so much so, I almost forgot how small the OLED screen on the front is (approx. 1.5 square inch)! Features in the order of importance for me:
1. Size – copy, print and scan with this tiny device!
2. 2 paper trays, 1 in back for photo paper (I printed out a few photos on the glossy sample that was included, they came out great. Colors were very accurate.
3. AirPrint
4. This printer can use CLI-281 or PGI-280 ink cartridges. Prices for replacement ink seems reasonable.

Nice looking, not comfortable
on November 12, 2019
Posted by: Gizmo

This little mouse, like other Logitech mice I own, was very easy to setup. You have the option of using the USB receiver or Bluetooth, if your laptop/PC supports it. Setup took me 2 mins. The receiver (and battery) is hidden under the cover that’s cleverly secured with magnets. It worked fine with my Mac and my office Windows laptop.
I love the way the mouse looks, the design is simple, clean and nice to look at. It works very well, responsive and precise. The battery is promised to last 18 months, something I can’t confirm yet of course. My current Logitech mouse lasts about 3-4 months (daily usage in office). So 18 months would be a game changer!
While I like the design of the mouse, the downside to this mouse is comfort and ergonomics. I prefer the mouse I currently use, M325, it has a bump for your palm to fit on. I find the M325much more comfortable for long periods of use. If you’re used to having a “bump” on your mouse for your palm to fit over, you probably won’t like this mouse.
Pros:
- Design
- Battery life
- USB receiver and Bluetooth setup
Cons:
- Comfort and ergonomics

Nice toothbrush, powerful, elegant design
on October 20, 2019
Posted by: Gizmo
from New Jersey
I’ve been using electric toothbrushes for a long time, my current toothbrush, a Braun, is probably about 5 years old. This is my first experience with Sonicare. I’ve always been curious to try out Sonicare to see how it compares to Brauns. The Sonicare 7300 came with 2 toothbrush heads, toothbrush covers and a travel case. Toothbrushes have come a long way since the last time I upgraded, the 7300 can connect to your phone via Bluetooth and it recognizes which toothbrush head you’re using (brushsync technology). It features multiple brush modes, clean, deep clean and gum health. It’s almost too much technology for a toothbrush! Do I really need my toothbrush to connect to my phone?
First off, I love the toothbrush covers, many times when I travel, I usually have to find a clean pouch or bag to store my toothbrush in. With these covers, I can cover the brush heads and put the toothbrush in my bag of toiletry or use the travel case. The design of this toothbrush is very nice, it’s thinner then most I’ve seen and the toothbrush head is smaller than some traditional toothbrushes! The black color has a nice look to it, but I feel this would hide the algae or mold, should it accumulate.
The speed at which the toothbrush vibrates or oscillates is much faster than my current toothbrush. I know it’s a different design but it seems to be brushing my teeth many times faster. It feels powerful, but not too much that it hurts your teeth, nice balance. I downloaded the Philips Sonicare app and synced the toothbrush to my phone. The app provides stats such as average brushing time, missed brushing, pressure applied, all this is shown in a graphs and charts that are easy to understand. It also tells me when I should change toothbrush heads. While all this may be useful to some, all I wanted to know is how long I’ve been brushing in real time, not for the past week, basically a timer. There doesn’t seem to be one. My old Braun came with a separate timer that started whenever the toothbrush was turned on, when you’re done brushing, it shows a clock, it’s a nice feature.
Overall, this is a very nice toothbrush that performs well. My mouth felt clean after I brushed, I can’t say for certain my teeth are cleaner vs using my old Braun toothbrush. It almost feels like that polishing tool my dentist uses on me when he’s finished cleaning my teeth. I would definitely recommend this, but also check out the other Sonicare options first.
Pro’s:
Small toothbrush head design, even smaller than traditional toothbrushes.
High speed movement of toothbrush head to clean your teeth.
Con’s:
App doesn’t have timer feature.
Pricier than other models, not sure what you’re getting on this over the other models such as 5000 series.

Fantastic sound quality w/ Alexa/Google, win win!
on October 12, 2019
Posted by: Gizmo
from New Jersey
After owning the Bose Revolve+, which I absolutely love, I was very excited to receive the Bose Smart Speaker with Alexa (and Google) built in. With the Revolve+, I’ve used it for a short time with an Amazon Echo dot plugged into the input jack, but it was just too much going on with wires etc. So I just use it as a portable Bluetooth speaker. Bose has taken the Revolve+ and combined it with the power of Alexa!
Unboxing
Included inside the fairly large box is the speaker, which stands 7.54” tall (about .25” taller the the Revolve+), USB-C charging cable and wall plug. Also included is a user manual. The USB-C cable has USB-C connections on both ends.
Setup:
This was very easy, using the Bose Music app, which I already have, I simply clicked “+” to add another device. If you don’t have this app already setup, you’ll have to go through the setup which was simple.
Sound quality:
I was blown away by the sound coming out of this fairly small package! The bass and overall clarity is excellent! This speaker (and the Revolve+) makes my music listening experience so much better. Not to sound like a snob, but after owning these speakers, I can’t listen the my Amazon Echo anymore, the sound quality just isn’t the same. Probably not a fair comparison as the Echo is 1/3 the price. I found the bass on the Bose Smartspeaker to be a bit more heavy when compared to the Revolve+, but not by much.
Functionality:
With the Smartspeaker, I can control all my smart switches and thermostats, just like I do with the Echo’s and Dot’s I already own. You can ask the Smartspeaker to tell you the weather, sing a song, or a joke, works as well as Amazon products. What it doesn’t do, and for me, this is kind of a big deal, is “drop in” or make calls, I rarely use the calls feature. But the drop in is very convenient to use as an intercom. The other feature I wish this Smartspeaker has is speakerphone. I find the speakerphone very handy, especially for conference calls when I’m working from home or when I’m working in the garage.
The battery life is very good, Bose claims 12 hours, I would have to agree. I used it while working from home, I played music for 9 hours straight with no issues. Volume level wasn’t set very high though, on a scale of 1-10, maybe a 3.5.
Overall, this is an excellent speaker all around, very functional, excellent sound quality in a nicely designed package. I highly recommend this speaker if you want an integrated AI. If you don’t use Alexa of Google home, go with the Revolve+.
Pros:
Excellent sound quality
Sensitive microphones
360 degree audio design
Water resistant
Cons:
No speakerphone
No Alexa drop in or calling features
No audio input jack

Helpful tool, if you want to improve your posture
on October 7, 2019
Posted by: Gizmo
from New Jersey
The Upright Go is a small device that sticks onto your upper back to help train you to correct your posture. This is something I desperately needed as I sit in an office all day in front of a PC. By the end of the day, I often find myself hunching over my keyboard like a caveman! I’m sure my posture is questionable at best throughout the day. This little device seems to be exactly what I needed!
The Upright Go 2 was very simple to setup and the app is easy use on my iPhone. Upright Go has two modes: training and tracking. During training mode, the device vibrates when it senses my back is not upright. In tracking mode, your posture is tracked, but it does not buzz every time your posture is poor. Instead, you can view a pie chart in your phone that shows upright vs. slouch and some stats.
The Upright Go attaches to your back using a reusable adhesive. The adhesive is supposed to be reusable for 3-10 days. I’m on day 5 is the adhesive is still working nicely. Should you use up the included 10 strips, you can purchase more ($6.95 for 10).
I’ve been using this for 6 days and I found it to be very helpful. I would sit up “straight” at my desk, when I looked at the app, I was actually slouching a bit. It’s very tiring to sit-up straight! I’m hoping it would be less tiring after some more usage. The other thing I noticed was in order to sit-up straight and view my computer, I had to lower my seat a little. I’m thinking all these years, I should’ve lowered my seat because it was causing me to slouch while working. This device picks up slouching if you or your head and neck area is leaning forward. If you’re simply slumped down on the seat, it won’t pick that up since he sensor is still positioned upright. After 6 days, I feel the upright go 2 has been very helpful in improving my posture. When the Upright Go vibrates, the buzzing sound is fairly quiet, my co-workers haven’t noticed any noises, and we sit only about 4-5’ apart. I would recommended the Upright Go to anyone looking to improve their posture.

Amazing mouse, confusing software

The G703 is an amazing mouse, that utilizes Logitech’s outstanding technologies. Their lightspeed wireless technology combined with the HERO 16k sensor makes for a very smooth experience while gaming.
Straight out of the box, one of the first things you will notice about the mouse are the light and clicky buttons. Another thing about this mouse is the weight. It is only 95 grams, and while it is not the lightest mouse in the market, it feels very light and easy to move. (The mouse also comes with an optional 10-gram weight) The mouse also has rubber grips on the sides, which feel very durable. The sides are sloped so that the mouse is easy to hold and pick up. One downside of the hardware is the size. If you use a palm grip, the back end of the mouse feels short and feels like the mouse should be supporting your whole palm. However, for fingertip and claw grip styles, this mouse is very comfortable.
Now, performance. Although wireless, I cannot detect any latency while playing games, or during casual use. This definitely shows the proficiency of Logitech’s lightspeed technology. The mouse is very smooth and very responsive. The maximum DPI (which can be adjusted in the software) is 16000 and the minimum is 100. Out of the box, the default DPI settings are 400, 800, 1600, and 3200. Different settings can be adjusted in the software.
Speaking of the software, it is the most confusing and upsetting part of the mouse experience. When looking for the software, Logitech brings you to a page with many different software’s for different mice (the right software for the mouse is Logitech G Hub, not Logitech gaming software) This was the most upsetting part of the process. After downloading the software, you should make an account to save your settings.
In the end, this is a great mouse, however Logitech could definitely improve on the software end of the mouse.
