Quality and Versatility

This is my second ninja coffee maker, and I love it just as much as the first. One thing that I think is an awesome improvement on this model is the versatility of the water reservoir. Depending on the counter space you have available, it can either go on the side, or it can attach to the back. I love having the option to put it on the back because I can put it in the corner of one of my countertops and have way more space on either side of it than I did before. Since I’m limited on counter space in my kitchen, that’s a huge plus.
In comparing my previous ninja coffee maker to this one, the other feature that I love on the new one is that it can use K cups. The older model did allow you to make single cups of coffee, but you still had to use the regular filter, not K cups.To be honest there’s really nothing about this coffee maker that I don’t like. The design is an improvement on the old, but you still get them quality ninja product you expect.
Lastly, I am all about the thermal carafe. I think it’s a must for coffee because it really does keep it warmer longer, without having to be reheated. I may be a bit of a snob when it comes to reheated coffee but it just doesn’t taste the same to me. This is the most versatile coffee maker I’ve ever owned and ninja just continues to impress me.

Can’t Go Wrong with Bose

If you’re buying a Bose product, you can pretty much count on it having excellent sound quality. That’s what they’re known for, and there’s a reason they’re known for it. That’s no less true of this Bluetooth speaker; it’s small but it packs a punch with rich, deep notes that most other companies can’t compete with.
The speaker itself is super durable, much more so than many out on the market now. I love the silicone body, because it holds up well even if you manage to drop it on the floor, something I have definitely been known to do with my Bluetooth speakers. I don’t feel like there’s a whole lot more to say about this. It gives the sound you expect from Bose, it’s durable, battery life is good, and I highly recommend it.

This is super convenient and great for travel or regular home use, especially if you’re short on space. It’s like the size of a large iPad with a built-in cover and stand. I love that it folds flat so you can store it just about anywhere, but it’s good quality and when you unfold the cover it becomes your stand that you can adjust to any angle you want.
There are also a couple of different lighting options. There’s a warm light option and a cooler option depending on what works best for you. It’s a simple product, but very well-made and functional for every day use. However since it folds flat, you could easily place it in a suitcase or bag for travel, and it would take up very little space.

Until seeing these moisture wicking sheets, I didn’t know there was such a thing. To be honest, the price tag did scare me initially, because I couldn’t imagine spending that much on sheets. However, when you stop and think about it, I’ll use these every night, hopefully eight hours a night. That seems like something worth investing in to make sure you’re comfortable and sleeping well. All of that being said, I was still a bit skeptical.
I’m someone who will wake up in the middle of the night with nothing but a sheet covering me and be totally hot and uncomfortable. I have noticed a significant difference in how I sleep because I don’t wake up that way with these sheets. They really do what they’re advertised to do, and they’re actually very comfortable overall. I’m finding that I do sleep better, more soundly, and wake up less during the night after using these for about a week. If you have trouble with sleeping too warm, this could be an excellent option for you.

Old School for the Win!

Old school is the term that immediately came to mind for me with this system, and I mean that in the best possible way. This system does not rely on WiFI or cloud storage. Although you can connect to WiFi to view the cameras when you're away, it is not necessary for recording and storing footage. The system comes with its own DVR system that the cameras are directly connect to, so wireless is not a thing here. What you are NOT sacrificing on with this “old school” system is video quality. That’s as updated as you can get right now and the quality is excellent.
I will say the wires can also be considered one drawback of this product, because yes, lots of wires connecting the cameras. if you install the system properly, this doesn’t have to be an issue, it’s just something to consider that wouldn’t be an issue with wireless cameras. That being said, I think the tradeoff in terms of number of cameras, DVR, picture quality (day and night vision), and PRICE makes this an incredibly worthwhile purchase. A wireless system with this many cameras would cost at least three times as much money and of course you’d be relying on WiFI for your cameras to work. For some, that may not be a huge issue, but if you have an Internet issues, this is an excellent option to bypass that problem.

This is a good little blender and does have the Vitamix name behind it. Although, in a way, I think that almost takes away from it. If this was any other brand, I think I'd find the power of it to be quite good. However, it is not the same level of power that you get with a full size, professional model Vitamix. I know that's to be expected since it's a lower price point, but again, it's what I've come to expect from a Vitamix, so still a little difficult for me. Consider that why I took half a star away. The other half of that star is for the controls. I've used other personal blenders and that still had more than one blending option/speed. I'm not a huge fan of the one speed on/off dial.
I started with the negative, so I want to end on a positive note. This is still a Vitamix blender and the quality is of course there. If you're looking for a pretty powerful, smaller blender, this is certainly a good option. Just know that yes, it is powerful, but it's not your typical Vitamix power.

My brother is the computer guy in the family, so he took care of installing this for me. We agree that purchasing this SSD is truly a no brainer. Install was ridiculously fast and easy. It’s a good size and works well with my existing hardware. I was actually a little shocked at just how much of an improvement I saw in boot time and when running programs. I work from home and it’s almost comical to see my work computer next to my personal computer with this SSD. I stream video most of the day on it and it’s just effortless now.

Does not keep the ice cold

I was SUPER excited to try this ice maker. One, the ice maker in my fridge is hit or miss at best and leaks, so I was already in the market for something new. Add to that that this makes nugget ice (the good ice as many call it), I thought, no brainer!
I struggled with two things on this ice maker though. First, at this cost, I really thought it would have some sort of cooling feature to keep the ice cold as it produces it. It does not. The ice is small, which is great for crunching on, but that means it starts melting almost as soon as the machine spits out. I also thought I'd be able to have it produce ice and then keep that ice easily accessible on the counter for at least the day. Nope, doesn't work that way. We used it for the holiday weekend yesterday and had to keep transferring it to the freezer to keep it cold enough to use...which compromises the nugget ice quality...it gets harder and not easy "crunchable" like you want. That defeats the whole point of getting a nugget ice machine.
The second issue I have with this machine is how often you're expected to clean it. I followed the initial instructions and made a cleaning solution with bleach and then thoroughly flushed it with clean water....I do not want to have to do that every week. Again, defeats the purpose of a product like this, way too much work.
Here's the bottom line for me. The ice, when freshly produced is everything promised. BUT it melts fast and isn't super convenient when you want to just have ice on hand throughout the day. I understand some sort of cooling device would be expensive...but this is an expensive ice machine and that really doesn't seem like that big of an ask to me.

They Disguised the Smart...but left out things out

So, to explain my title, this is a smart lock that doesn't look like a smart lock. I have a smart lock on my back door that is very obviously a smart lock (it has a visible touch keypad and is pretty big) - in fact that's the exact reason it's on my back door instead of the front, I felt it drew too much attention and didn't want people messing with it. Opposite to that, this Level lock appears to be an ordinary door handle/lock to anyone who may walk by. That right off the bat was a HUGE plus for me.
However, my house is set up with Google Home and several Nest cameras...this lock is not compatible with Google Home, which was a huge minus for me. To be honest, this is one of the very few items I've seen on the market that doesn't have compatibility with all of the major smart devices. That means this lock is operated completely separate from all of my other devices. The lack of universal compatibility hurts any product like this and obviously limits their market at least somewhat because of that.
Install was easy (much more so than my other smart lock in fact) but and it looks good. Add compatibility with other smart devices and this is a home run for me. But until then, I just can't quite give it 5/5 yet. However, it works and if this particular compatibility issue is not a problem, then a great product overall.

I mounted this camera/flood light over my detached garage. It replaced a camera (no flood light) that was previously in place but has been disconnecting from my Wifi a lot lately. It also replaced an old flood light (two for one!) that hadn't worked in a long time. I was relieved to find the issue was with the old flood light and wiring the new light was not a problem...or so my handyman tells me :-)
I've used other Eufy products in the past and found them to be user friendly. No complaints with the app functionality. I like that you have the option of storing videos locally on the actual device or subscribing to Eufy's cloud storage. Personally, for the cost Eufy offers their storage at, I would recommend it since you never know what can happen to the actual unit.
As I mentioned, my unit is hooked up to the outside of my detached garage which is a little ways away from my modem/router meaning it needs to be able to receive the Wifi signal from a bit of distance. So far, it has managed that with flying colors and I don't have the spotty coverage my old camera was providing. Great product that works as advertised.

I'm have AT&T but plan on ordering through Best Buy because of $100 gift card. Why is it not showing up in my cart but Chromecast is? Do you have to activated it through Verizon to get the gift card?
The Google Pixel is exclusive to Verizon, so you won't be able to buy it with an AT&T account.
