Big things in a small package

I have owned a number of gaming computers, both desktop and laptop. In terms of functionality with size, this computer is hard to beat. It boasts 16 GB memory AND 1 TB SSD. And yet somehow it weighs just a little over 4 1/2 pounds. In my experience, that’s a rarity. And although the price is up there a bit, it’s perfectly in line with quality gaming laptops and meets (or actually exceeds) my expectations in every aspect.
Between memory and SSD, we’re off to a great start. Add to those the additional features and speed of the AMD Ryzen processor and Radeon graphics card, you’ve got yourself a fast and virtually flawless gaming experience. I’ve had no issues with any games or more everyday activities like streaming. And the battery life (especially considering all of the things under the hood) is excellent.
The screen isn’t 4K, which at this price point I might have expected. However, since the screen isn’t huge, it’s not really that noticeable of a difference and I don’t miss it, so that wasn’t worth taking a star off for me. Overall, super impressed and having a blast!

This is my second pair of smart sunglasses. I like the style of these much better than the first pair that I had, so right off the bat that earns a star for me. You have to like the look of the sunglasses and feel comfortable in them for them to be worth the cost in my opinion. However, I did find that I had a few issues that I think could be resolved in the future models.
First, I found that the fit on these was hit or miss. They fit me OK but weren’t as comfortable as I’d hoped. I had a couple of family members try them on just to compare and see what the comfort was like for them. Some thought they were great, others said they wouldn’t be able to wear them for long periods of time. They felt like they might even fall off. As far as sound quality goes, I found that that was decent but not everything you might hope for. There were no issues with connectivity but you just don’t have the same listening experience with sunglasses that you do with actual headphones. With the way technology goes I think that that improvement can be made and future iterations will probably be better. I would highly recommend trying a pair on if it all possible before purchasing, to make sure that you’re going to be happy with the fit and feel of them. If you don’t like headphones or want another option to them, then Bluetooth sunglasses may very well be the way to go. But if you’re expecting immersive sound like you would get from actual headphones, you may not be satisfied. For what they are, I think they’re a decent products but with room for improvement. But the style is a huge win for me since some Bluetooth sunglasses I’ve seen and/or owned have felt and looked bulky and awkward.

OK, I love this mouse. I will say write off, that I don’t know that it would be the perfect fit for everyone. It has a unique feel to it with some different angles that take some getting used to. I tried using it for regular tasks on the computer for a couple of days before I actually used it for gaming so that I could get used to the feel of it. I feel like that was super helpful because I was more familiar with what to expect from the mouse.
This thing is definitely light weight, but I felt that it still has amazing balance. Obviously for long-term use and maneuverability lighter is better. However I sometimes feel like some mice are so light they’re going to fly right out of my hand. For me, this was the perfect balance. Grip is good, reaction and sensitivity on point.

This is a simple little product but I really like having it. My Google home sits on a ledge of a pass-through window between my family room and kitchen. I use it in both rooms and I’m constantly having to turn it and adjust depending on what room I’m in. Having the swivel base makes it super simple to use between rooms without the risk of knocking it off the counter, which I’ve come close to doing more than once. It also sits at a bit of an angle so that it’s easier to see the screen on my raised ledge.
Depending on how you’re using this Google home this could be a very useful little tool to add to it and to make it that much more functional, especially between rooms.

Only decent sound quality

I have owned a lot of different brands of true wireless headphones in several different price ranges. In my experience, a lot of Jabra products tend to be geared toward active users. So, right off the bat, these headphones have some specific features that are nice if you are someone who works out, moves around a lot, etc. and I would say that those features are noticeable and beneficial, for example, I found that they did have a snug but comfortable fit to ensure that they didn’t fall out when walking, jogging, etc.
However, whether moving or standing still and I wasn’t nearly as happy with the sound quality. In my experience, and at this price point, I feel like you should be getting better than what these currently offer. It just didn’t have the depth of sound or deep bass that I’ve come to expect from good quality headphones, whether they’re true wireless or not.This is not to say that they don’t have decent sound, I just don’t think it’s on par with other brands at this price. However, as stated above you are paying for other features that you may not get with other headphones. So, depending on what features are most important to you, this might be an acceptable trade off, and I am admittedly very picky about my sound quality.
Overall feeling is this is a decent pair of headphones with some good active user features, but the sound quality does fall a bit short for me.

I have several nest cameras and also quite a few Google products throughout my house. I’ve been very happy with them and how well they sync up with each other. The cameras have been good quality and held up well over the last couple of years. Unfortunately, I was not nearly as satisfied with this new indoor camera.
I set it up in a window pointing outside. The first thing that was frustrating to me is that the camera doesn’t auto adjust depending on the angle it’s at. There wasn’t enough room for me to mount the camera from the top of the window frame, so I did it on the side. The problem is my picture is also sideways because of that and there’s no way to adjust it. You can turn the camera head but whatever way the camera is facing is the way your picture will look. I also found that the night vision is pretty much nonexistent, made even worse by the fact that my camera is pointing out a window. It reflects back any light and more often than not I end up with a reflection of my front room instead of what’s outside. Not ideal.
The last thing I found that was incredibly frustrating, again since I already have other nest cameras is that this camera can’t be used with the nest app. It’s only compatible with the Google home app. If you’re brand new to nest products, then this won’t be an issue for you as you can just set up in the Google home app with this and any other products. But for me I have everything set up through the nest app including not only my cameras but two smoke detectors. I have this one random camera though now that won’t work with the same app as all of my others. And quite honestly I don’t really like the layout of the cameras in the Google Home app. I much prefer the nest app so this was a huge negative for me.
The camera does work and if you can mount it upright and don’t have a problem using the Google home app, then this isn’t a bad little product. But for all of the reasons described above, I feel it’s lacking the usual quality I’ve come to expect from nest products and I’m not a fan.

Quality and Versatility

This is my second ninja coffee maker, and I love it just as much as the first. One thing that I think is an awesome improvement on this model is the versatility of the water reservoir. Depending on the counter space you have available, it can either go on the side, or it can attach to the back. I love having the option to put it on the back because I can put it in the corner of one of my countertops and have way more space on either side of it than I did before. Since I’m limited on counter space in my kitchen, that’s a huge plus.
In comparing my previous ninja coffee maker to this one, the other feature that I love on the new one is that it can use K cups. The older model did allow you to make single cups of coffee, but you still had to use the regular filter, not K cups.To be honest there’s really nothing about this coffee maker that I don’t like. The design is an improvement on the old, but you still get them quality ninja product you expect.
Lastly, I am all about the thermal carafe. I think it’s a must for coffee because it really does keep it warmer longer, without having to be reheated. I may be a bit of a snob when it comes to reheated coffee but it just doesn’t taste the same to me. This is the most versatile coffee maker I’ve ever owned and ninja just continues to impress me.

Can’t Go Wrong with Bose

If you’re buying a Bose product, you can pretty much count on it having excellent sound quality. That’s what they’re known for, and there’s a reason they’re known for it. That’s no less true of this Bluetooth speaker; it’s small but it packs a punch with rich, deep notes that most other companies can’t compete with.
The speaker itself is super durable, much more so than many out on the market now. I love the silicone body, because it holds up well even if you manage to drop it on the floor, something I have definitely been known to do with my Bluetooth speakers. I don’t feel like there’s a whole lot more to say about this. It gives the sound you expect from Bose, it’s durable, battery life is good, and I highly recommend it.

This is super convenient and great for travel or regular home use, especially if you’re short on space. It’s like the size of a large iPad with a built-in cover and stand. I love that it folds flat so you can store it just about anywhere, but it’s good quality and when you unfold the cover it becomes your stand that you can adjust to any angle you want.
There are also a couple of different lighting options. There’s a warm light option and a cooler option depending on what works best for you. It’s a simple product, but very well-made and functional for every day use. However since it folds flat, you could easily place it in a suitcase or bag for travel, and it would take up very little space.

Until seeing these moisture wicking sheets, I didn’t know there was such a thing. To be honest, the price tag did scare me initially, because I couldn’t imagine spending that much on sheets. However, when you stop and think about it, I’ll use these every night, hopefully eight hours a night. That seems like something worth investing in to make sure you’re comfortable and sleeping well. All of that being said, I was still a bit skeptical.
I’m someone who will wake up in the middle of the night with nothing but a sheet covering me and be totally hot and uncomfortable. I have noticed a significant difference in how I sleep because I don’t wake up that way with these sheets. They really do what they’re advertised to do, and they’re actually very comfortable overall. I’m finding that I do sleep better, more soundly, and wake up less during the night after using these for about a week. If you have trouble with sleeping too warm, this could be an excellent option for you.
