Poorly made 'B' movie!

This movie sounds at first like it has an ok plot and one actor you've seen before, (just to sell it.) The movie itself is just poorly made. Don't waste your time or money!
What's great about it: Had potential.
What's not so great: Poorly made.

Great psychological thriller!

This was a great movie, my wife and I loved it! This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat till the very end. I always thought Kevin Costner made a good bad guy, and he should do it more often. Also, Demi Moore, William Hurt, and Dane Cooke were all great in this movie. I highly recommend it! Plus, some other good Kevin Costner 'bad guy' films are 3000 Miles to Graceland and A Perfect World.
What's great about it: Kevin Costner at his best.
What's not so great: Couldn't find anything.

Excellent horror movie!!!

This was a great horror movie, my wife and I loved it! This movie was dissed by certain critics because it steers away from the true story a bit. Hollywood does this for movie completion. The story is still real just altered a little bit for the sake of film making. The movie and the true story, done by the Discovery Channel, are both good and I recommend watching both for the whole story. Some people were upset that Ed and Lorraine, the real psychic investigaters that did the case, weren't in the movie. First off, Ed has since deceased, it was out of respect for Lorraine that they were taken out. Second, they were replaced by a preacher. No big deal. My only complaint, which is my same complaint from Unborn, is that there's no difference between the unrated and rated. Saying it's the unrated cut just to sell it isn't right, in my opinion. To me it's pointless! But, the movie itself is extremely good. I highly recommend it! I also recommend Unborn, but just watch the unrated version. (Apparently there's an extra minute in there some where, but my wife and I couldn't tell.)
What's great about it: Very intense and based on a true story!
What's not so great: Couldn't tell a difference between the unrated and PG-13 version.

'I want to play a game!'
on July 13, 2009

My wife and I love these movies, we can't get enough. Even without Tobin Bell (John Cramer a.k.a. Jigsaw) the game continues. I love these movies because it's not just a bunch of senseless killing and torture, there's a moral to all of it. However, this wasn't the best of the series (in my opinion), but still good enough for 5 stars. It just seemed really short to me. Don't think of these movies as sequels, this is really just one big movie seperated into segments. If you skip one, you may be a little confused. My only complaint with this one is that they say, 'You won't believe how it ends.' We now know differently. Not only did it end openended like the other ones, but there's a sixth one coming out soon. Up till now, they've done well with keeping the story continuous. Don't say it's ending, when you know you're making another one. That puts you in the same category as Halloween or Friday the 13th, where the villain keeps dying then is miraculously alive again in the sequel. Don't get me wrong, the Saw movies are nothing like those simple plot slasher films, they're much more indepth. I just thought that saying it's the end when it's not is misleading. Otherwise, this and the other Saw movies are a must own for any true horror collector. I highly recommend the entire set! Plus, always make sure you get the unrated director's cuts, you don't want to miss anything.
What's great about it: The game continues.
What's not so great: They say it's the end, but it's not.

My wife and I love these movies, they just get better and better. This third installment ties right in with the first two. Don't think of this as a sequel, these movies are really just one big movie seperated into segments. Don't skip one or you'll probably be confused. Plus, always make sure you get the unrated director's cuts, you don't want to miss anything. I highly recommend this one, along with the others!
What's great about it: The imagination it took to make these movies.
What's not so great: Couldn't find anything.

My wife and I love these movies, they just get better and better. If you haven't seen any of the movies in this epic series, you definitely want to start here. The movies are actual just one big movie, seperated into segments, kind of like The Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. Skipping any one of these movies could cause you to be really confused. I say grab this movie and start 'playing the game'! I highly recommend it!
What's great about it: Great way to get the series started.
What's not so great: Couldn't find anything.

Great remake!

This was a great movie, my wife and I loved it! This is a great remake of an old classic. I could've done without Paris Hilton, but it was nice to see her get killed. I highly recommend it! Also, some other good remakes are Hills Have Eyes, Black X-mas, The Hitcher, and Last House on the Left. (Plus, they offer this movie in a 2 pack with the extended version of The Exocist. Great deal, if you don't either.)
What's great about it: Paris Hilton got killed.
What's not so great: Paris Hilton actually got a role in this movie.

This is a great 2 pack! You get the extended version of The Exorcist, which is one of the best horror movies ever made! Plus, you get House of Wax, a great remake of an old classic. You can't go wrong. I highly recommend it, especially for the price!
What's great about it: Both movies!
What's not so great: Couldn't find anything.
