A very good and accurate mouse
on August 2, 2017

I’ve been a heavy PC gamer for a good 20 years and I’ve had more mice than I want to count. I’m currently using this with my Acer Predator gaming laptop and I’m really impressed with this mouse. It’s fast, accurate and comfortable to use. I have another Logitech G500S gaming mouse I use with my desktop system and this one is very comparable.
The removable weight is an added bonus, as I like a heavy mouse so I’m leaving it in, most mice are way to light for my tastes and gaming needs.
The mouse wheel has an illuminated stripe running down the center, "first time I've had one like this", it's sort of neat, as you can easily see the wheel in a dark room. There's also an illuminated "G" logo on the palm rest area. Both of them can be controlled with the Logitech software, they can also be shut off if you prefer.
And like the G500S you can control the DPI, this one with the small button just below the mouse wheel. I find this a very nice touch and you can also set the 4 presets the way you like it within the Logitech software.
This one has a rechargeable battery and you have to remember to plug it in on occasion, at least you can plug it in and still use it while charging, I just try to remember to plug it in at night when going to bed.
Haven’t had it long enough yet to see just how long the battery last yet though but the software shows it has around 25hrs of life left at 80%'
I’ve tried this on a couple different mouse pads and they all seem to work equally well, even the cloth of our sofa works really well.
If you are looking for a nice sleek gaming mouse you should be happy with this one. I've attached a picture with a few other Logitech mice I have for size comparison.

Great all around air fryer
on July 22, 2017
Posted by: SteveC
from Central Mississippi
We have 2 other air fryers to compare this to, an Actifry and a Della branded one.
First the De'Longhi is the middle of the group size wise, the Della is really big, almost too big as it take up a lot of counter space, but does hold more and can handle a large chicken pretty easily. The Della though doesn’t have a stirring paddle but uses a rotisserie and has a basket for putting things in that need to be turned often, unfortunately that’s only good for a few things and nothing that has liquid in it. The De'Longhi fortunately isn’t much smaller and the paddle in it can be removed for larger items.
The one thing the De'Longhi has over the other two is it has a bottom heating element which works great, and now our biscuits and rolls can brown on the bottom, where with the Della you had to flip baked goods over for a couple minutes at the end to get the bottom browned good.
Our favorite thing to cook in the Actifry is what I call “Steak Tips”, it’s just cubed up stew meat purchased at any grocery store. I marinade it in a teriyaki sauce for a good hour and then put that in the Actifry with a table spoon of olive oil and half a large onion sliced up. We haven’t had steak any other way in a couple years it comes out so good. The De'Longhi replicates that perfectly, but with the bottom and top heating elements going it cooks up faster in the De'Longhi, plus you can make a larger batch in the De'Longhi, “maybe bad  “. With the Della we had to use the rotisserie and the skewer attachment which is a lot more work than just tossing it in the pan and turning on.
The Actifry has only one heat setting, that’s it, both the De'Longhi and Della have adjustable heat, the Della being digital and the De'Longhi being a control wheel, with the Della having a digital readout and mainly preset settings, you can’t fine tune like the De'Longhi which I am finding I like better. I really like the removable timer on the De'Longhi, you can take it with you to another room so you won’t miss turning the unit off. Neither the Actifry nor the De'Longhi turn off when the timer goes off only the Della does that, so you have to be mindful of what’s cooking
.
We’ve only cooked a couple things with the De'Longhi but from what I can see it will be a more versatile appliance in the end over the Actifry and the Della, the addition of the bottom heating element makes it work just that much better. I do wish the De'Longhi would come with a rack insert that way you could clear the nub for the stirring paddle and you could bake more items easier. Cleanup is about the same between the three, all of them have removable cooking pans, only on the Della you cannot remove the top, but its interior liner is glass so it wipes down very easily. I think you will be impressed and happy with the De'Longhi if you decide to pick one up.

Simply Amazing
on June 24, 2017

This is a superb option to the other tablet/laptop convertible devices. It comes with the keyboard, so, with it combined with an i7 processor, 360gb SSD, 8gb ram, and an included stylus, it pretty much can't be beat for the price.
Upon opening the box I was very pleasantly surprised about how thin this device is, just amazing.
The screen resolution is superb, super clear, looks about as close to real life as it gets, I cannot make out pixels unless I use a magnifier.

Speed is right up there with my i7 "A" branded laptop and heat doesn't seem to be a problem, "I haven't pushed it really hard yet though", but there is a small cooling fan and you can just barely hear it, no way it would be annoying at any point so far.
The keyboard is excellent, I was surprised it's a lot better than a "D" branded tablet/convertible I have and pretty much the same as a regular laptop keyboard. Key-presses are deep enough to where it feels correct and hard to accidentally depress when typing.
There are 2 USB type C ports, one on each side and either can be used for charging, that's great considering how you have it set up you can place the charging cable on the side most convenient for you. I also have a couple USB C dongles that have HDMI, Ethernet and multiple USB 3 ports. They worked fine right off without having to fiddle around with them. This make it super easy to add an external drive or hooking up an external monitor. And since there are two USB C ports you can charge while using other devices.
HP has really hit a home run with this device, it's definitely something you should put on your buy list when looking for a new tablet/laptop convertible.

Very good but pricey

My wife has been using this for a few days now and she's really impressed with it. She said although it's a little heavier than her other hairdryer, "not that much more though", it's quieter on high setting and seems to blow just as hard. She really likes the separate settings for fan speed and heat, her cheap one only has one control for everything so you can't balance heat and speed. She also likes that it comes with different attachments and she mainly uses the clear concentrator.
I've used this a couple times and it works as well as my cheap one, I've noticed it is heavier than my really cheap dryer, that may be of a concern if you have strength problems, no problem for either of us though. And what can I say, "I'm a guy, it dries, done deal". The construction is much sturdier than my cheap unit by quite a bit, probably the reason for the extra weight. And something both of us noticed, the cord is really long, much longer than either of our cheap units. I also like that it has a removable air filter that's very well secured but easy to remove and doesn't fall out easy.
Overall it works like it's intended, it dries, not sure about the price, my wife thought it's a little steep but felt the quality of it probably justifies the cost. Will have to see how it holds up over time.

Very Good Cordless

from Central Mississippi
I’ve always seen these Dyson stick vacs in the stores and wanted to give them a try. When the new model came out and was asked to check this one out I jumped at the chance.
First it came packaged very well like our other two Dyson uprights, very easy to assemble with a very detailed instruction manual making assembly very easy. There was a sticker around the grip and trigger that stated the battery was 20% charged from the factory and to charge fully before using, so I plugged it in and waited about 1.5hrs for the blue charge light to go out.
I wanted to see just how long the battery would last with the Motorhead attached so I ran it pretty much nonstop till the battery died. I was able to get 28 minutes of run time out of it, which isn’t bad for a device this light, and that’s with the Motorhead attached and running all the time also.
After the battery died I plugged it back into the charger and waited about 2.75 hours for it to charge back up. Not fast but not overnight either. I can tell this is designed for a few quick cleanings and probably not for a whole house. But during my first test I actually cleaned a very large portion of the house with it, and after almost 30 minutes of run time I was ready for it to give out anyway.
We have two other Dysons my wife uses in her cleaning business and we have an H branded cordless upright for our house. I was really impressed with how much fine dirt this little vac was able to pick up.
it pretty much equaled and maybe even a little better than the H branded cordless, but it is new and the other is very well used so that could be the reason it did as good or better at picking up the fine dust.
Our house is tile and laminate flooring in every room and we have throw rugs or runners every room.
For this the V7 worked exceptionally well, it filled up a lot faster than I expected, and the small dust bin is probably it’s only disadvantage, so you will be making trips to the trashcan often. I also have a D “tool company branded” cordless hand vac. The suction on V7 is a whole lot better than it. Its only advantage is that the battery pack is the same as my D branded drill and can be swapped out, it can also vacuum up ½ gallon of liquid.
A friend of ours has a V6 and happen to stop by last night so I let them check out this one. They were very impressed. They like their V6 but said this one definitely had more suction power than the old model. Now they are going to be looking at upgrading theirs and sort of wish they hadn’t seen the new model.
Emptying the dust bin is pretty straight forward. Just pull straight up on the red handle and the motor unit slides up and then the bottom door swings open dropping the contents. Then you just slide the motor head back down, swing the bottom lid back into place and you are done, very simple. The one thing I did observe that you want to keep an eye on the dirt level and make sure you empty when it starts to get up there, I didn’t at first and overfilled it a little. When I went to empty it I removed the extension and dirt came pouring out the nozzle end of the canister “oops”, you’ll also want to keep the device as level as possible when detaching the extension otherwise if you hold it to vertically some stuff may drop back out the nozzle end of the vac, “lesson learned’. If Dyson could have some sort of flap inside to help prevent this it would be nice but may be hard to do without affecting suction.
I haven’t had time to test everything else out but from what I have seen so far this is a great little stick vac. And if you only have hard flooring with a few low pile throw rugs then this may be all you really need.

A good upgrade from the original Arlo
on December 17, 2016
Posted by: SteveC
from Central Mississippi
I received this to replace my first generation Arlo base station mainly as I wanted the PRO features, mainly the attached local storage option.
The system came in a very nice display box, the two cameras were on top in a clear plastic box, and the only way to get that open easily is to open the bottom box, remove the two smaller boxes containing the rest of the system, and then remove the top clear box so you can gain access to the cameras.
The cameras are attached to the box with two large screws and are easy to remove. I just used finger pressure but they are slotted for a coin. The rest of the system, packed neatly into the two boxes in the bottom of the lower main box.
I went online to arlo.com and downloaded the manuals under the support section, “I’d rather read PDF files on my computer” and followed the setup instructions, the whole process is very simple.
Then I connected the patch cable to my router, plugged in the power cord and set up the system in my already established Arlo account. the base station appeared right away after logging in and showed that it needed a software update, so I let that run and the system rebooted. Next I installed the batteries in the cameras, “they are fully charged from the factory” and went through the pairing process in the manual. One thing though, the batteries are covered in a very thin, tape like, protective plastic and it’s not easy to see right off. You have to remove that before inserting it in the camera or the batteries will not make contact. Then I logged into my account, made sure my two new cameras were there and tried them out, they worked . Next, while logged in I removed the old cameras from my previous system and paired those to the new system. The old version one cameras paired fine, “also verified they were working".
I proceeded to go outside and place all the cameras. Nothing different from the old system, I already had the mounts placed so I didn’t have to put any of those up. The magnetic mount makes it a breeze to place the cameras on the mount. I used the live view mode to make sure the cameras were aimed correctly and then proceeded to set up all the preferences the same as my old system. I also plugged in a 32gb thumb drive in USB port 1 and the system automatically set that up for use.
We tried out the audio function of the cameras, and it works, but even setting the speaker output at 100% the speakers aren’t really loud. I’m sure someone at our front door will hear them but they will have to pay pretty good attention. The cameras are a good 7-8’ from the door and around 9’ high so if they were closer that would help a lot.
I’ve noticed over the last couple days that the motion sensitivity of the new cameras seems to be better than the old one. It picked up a cat walking down the sidewalk the other night, the old version cameras never picked one up. They also pick us up walking down our driveway to the mailbox; the originals only did that on occasion. Video quality with the new cameras seems a little better and night B&W mode is much better.
My big concern is the battery life of the rechargeable batteries in the Pro cameras. Our old gen 1 Arlo cameras lasted 5 month on the most used camera, and are plenty strong on the others. I’m hoping that I get at least a couple months out of them as I don’t want to be taking them down to charge and then putting up and repositioning. Something you may want to think about if you want to put the cameras up high and not within easy reach. I’m going to get a spare battery and the charge station, which will shorten any downtime when the batteries run low. One spare should be enough as the batteries shouldn’t run out at the same time.
In all this is an excellent update to a system we already liked, the added local storage option is really a welcome addition. At least I know the videos will be recorded, and saved if the network connection goes down. For the initial price of the system it would be convenient if they included the charge station. I like the idea of charging the batteries there than in the camera itself. The cameras are also quite a bit larger than the original ones, not a big problem, but due to the size increase they can’t be angled quite as much as the older ones on the magnet mount. I have them mixed so that the areas I need more of an angle on the mount I used the original camera on. My one complaint about the cameras is the rubber cover over the USB port doesn’t like to stay in and keeps popping out, I may have to put a piece of tape over it to keep it in protecting the port.

Pixel XL is here
on October 20, 2016
Posted by: SteveC
from Central Mississippi
Well after much anticipation my Google Pixel XL arrived.
Inside the box you will find the Pixel, wrapped up in a protective plastic wrap, a 30A wall plug, a USB A to C cable for the charger, a USB C to C cable and a USB C to USB A dongle. All nice inclusions since most phones don’t include any other cables or dongles. There isn’t a headset included but I really don’t care about that as I prefer my own brand of headsets and the OEM ones always stay in the box unused.
Upon handling the Pixel XL it feels pretty good in hand, it feels smaller than the Nexus 6 “it is”, and just a tiny bit lighter. The back of the phone is sort of different with a two tone glass top 1/3 and a dull matt metal finish on the lower 2/3s.
In the glass upper part there is a finger print reader that works pretty well, it seems plenty fast and unlocks the phone almost instantly.
On the right side of the phone you will find the usual power button and the up / down volume lever “button”. I prefer having the power button on the side, as my last phone integrated the power button with the fingerprint reader and you had to pick up the phone to unlock it, which got annoying after a while.
Upon booting the phone you go through the normal setups and the main interface is Google Launcher, not my favorite as I love to customize everything so I’ll be using Nova from now on, and it works perfectly on the Pixel.
Speed wise the phone seems really fast, I don’t see any hesitation going through home screens or launching apps, using either Nova or the Google Launcher are plenty fast and I noticed no difference between them.
I have around 75 apps I always keep on my phones and use, and after loading all of them I still have 29.7gb free, and this is after shooting a dozen or so full resolution pics, “no video yet”.
I’ve only been able to test the back camera a little and so far from what I’ve found, outside it’s a decent camera but does not beat my current L branded phone, even friends looking at the pictures always picked the other over the Pixel, especially when it comes to fine detail when zooming in on a picture.
On indoor and close up shots the Pixel was the winner, not by much but you could clearly see more detail in the lower light images and the close up images showed a fair amount more detail in them than the L branded phone.
I’ve only had the phone for a few hours so far and it’s pretty impressive. I’ll keep testing and trying it out to see how well it works and how it compares to my other phones. Right now I’m very pleased with Googles new Pixel XL phone.

Excellent Bluetooth Speaker
on October 6, 2016
Posted by: SteveC
from Central Mississippi
This is really a neat Bluetooth speaker, and the sound, WOW, hard to believe this much clear, loud, sound can come from such a small speaker, but then again it’s a Bose.
When I got this in I was hesitant about how good it will sound, we have a few Bluetooth portable speakers lying around and those weren’t very impressive, “this one is”. After plugging it in to charge and linking it to my laptop, which was very simple. I was surprised to hear a voice announcement with guidance how to link the speaker, made it very simple to connect to. I tried some music and happen to be watching a video when my wife came in and heard it, she was completely amazed how good it sounded and how deep of base it produced.
She had to try it with her laptop, for being a top end model its speakers “SUCK’, it may be super thin and lite but the sound is not impressive. She was blown away with how good this sounded, “probably the last time I see it  “ . I have to admit for the size, when I first saw it I was skeptical, but now I’m not.
I have some hearing problems and anything with small speakers I just can’t hear, everything sounds pretty much garbled. I really need good speakers to be able to hear properly especially in the lower ends, and most small speakers cannot produce good low end sound. With these I could hear most everything perfectly, very clear, loud and the big plus was I didn’t need to max the volume to be able to understand everything, “this thing gets really loud.
The speaker comes with a USP cable but no power adapter, you’ll have to use your phone adapter or plug it into a powered USB port to charge. We have plenty of chargers lying around so that’s not a problem. This speaker also has a silicone type outer covering and it’s supposed to be water resistant. I didn’t try that aspect out but if we do I’ll let everyone know.
An excellent product from Bose, and I’ll update more if there are any changes from what I found. Put this high on your shopping list if you are looking for an excellent Bluetooth portable speaker.

Decent for the price
on October 6, 2016
Posted by: SteveC
from Central Mississippi
This is an update to the Icona One 10.1 B3-A20, there isn’t a lot of difference that I can see they look identical. It has the same MediaTek MT8163 processor and 1gb system memory, with 32gb of storage space. The screen is a 10.1 1280x800 resolution screen and is supposed to be IPS.
First I feel this is a tablet for someone that want’s a tablet but doesn’t want to spend much money, “this one isn’t expensive at all”. It may also best be suited for a youngster to play around with and watch videos along with some learning games, it would probably work really well for that, and not a big gouge out of your wallet if they happen to break it.
First the positive things.
The design is pretty good, it’s not a thin tablet but it’s not really heavy, the back is flat white, “really white” and has a nice texture for gripping. I was really surprised to find a second micro USB port under the cleverly concealed cover right above the camera and is part of the chrome trim piece. There is also a Micro SD card slot under there as well. Not sure if everyone will like it but everything else is stark white, “the back, bezel, even the power and volume buttons, everything but the surround around the rear camera is very stark white”. It also comes with a little plastic two position kick stand which is a nice add-on. It’s also nice that a tablet at this price has 32gb worth of storage built in.
Now the negatives.
This isn’t the fastest tablet out there, but for the price point it’s exactly where I would probably place it.
The screen to me doesn’t look like an IPS screen, from an angle things start washing out pretty fast, straight on and it looks really good. The volume is not very loud, even maxed out I found myself wanting to use headphones. In a quiet room they are plenty but any background noise I needed more.
There are also no sensors besides a position sensor for game playing, and that’s it. Aida64 shows there is nothing else but that.
There’s only 1gb of memory, and it will fill up fast. If you are a power tablet user then you need to look elsewhere, but you probably already know that. Like I said at the beginning, this seems to be more for someone that isn’t going to do much other than check email, browse the internet and maybe some casual gaming, but that’s about it. I would be a good first tablet for a kid or young adult to start out with.
In all this isn’t too bad of a basic tablet, I checked email, used hangouts a little, without any problems. I also watched some YouTube videos and they played really well. I haven’t had time to test everything out but when I have some time spare time I’ll be checking it out more and reporting back.

Excellent Multi Floor Cleaner
on September 15, 2016
Posted by: SteveC
from Central Mississippi
Very Impressed!
We received the CrossWave a few days ago and I wanted to give it a couple good uses first before writing anything. We also a different branded floor scrubber and I wanted to test this against it also.
Unboxing was simple, it came in a large cardboard box with plenty of paper egg shell type liners. Inside you'll find the machine wrapped in plastic, in basically two pieces.
Just remove the handle and body assembly, remove all the plastic bags and little advertisement flyer attached to the side, slide the handle into place till you hear it snap in and you are done. The cord is nice and long, we can reach around our kitchen and dining area easily using one plugin. Also inside the box you will find two small bottles of cleaning solutions, one multi floor and one for hardwood, two brushes - one for hardwood and one multi floor brush, there's one multi floor brush already installed and ready to go. There's also a plastic tray for setting the machine in after use and to be used for cleaning out the machine, a plastic brush holder is also included and snaps into the side of the plastic flor tray, nice for storing and drying your brushes after use. A manual, guide and warranty registration card are also included, it's nice to see Bissell has given this a two year warranty also.
For our test I first ran our normally used vacuum over the area rugs in the kitchen and dining area, figured I wanted to give it a good test and see if it actually picked up anything our vac didn't. I filled the solution bottle to the large area marks "figuring two rugs and the tile floor around may take a lot", but I only used about half of the solution recommended, I've found over the years I can use less than what's recommended in all the machines we've owned and this seemed like a lot to me, "just personal choice".
I started the machine up and began with the runner in the kitchen, be sure to select the "Rug" power button for which floor type you'll be cleaning on. When you depress the solution release trigger two leds light up the solution path on the head and you can see the solution flowing "neat", a great way to see that the solution is coming out.
While running the machine is a little heavy to run around as it cleans and vacs it really sticks to the rug and takes a little effort to move, "not bad by any means" and less than our full sized carpet cleaner. With the clear head surrounding the brush you can see the solution doing it's work, foaming up and being sucked in. I didn't pay much attention to the dirty water tank at this point, I focused on getting that carpet clean.
After a good run over the kitchen runner I ran it around the tile floor around it "switching the power switch to hard floor", I could visually see the floor getting cleaner and a second quick pass after the solution application really pulled off a lot of the water leaving the floor just barely damp. Next I went over to the are rug in the dining area "breakfast nook" and started there, also setting the power switch to rug. I did notice the solution tank really didn't use a lot of solution and was surprised, I expected more, but the floor and runner were definitely getting enough as they were left slightly damp. After running over the throw rug in the dining are, I did the tile around it with a couple quick passes and then shut off the machine for cleaning and inspection.
We were really surprised as to what came out of those rugs, the visibly were a lot cleaner, and the dirty water tank looked like a cup of hot chocolate with chunks "eww",
can't believe that came out of the carpets even after going over them with the regular vac "and it's a high end popular model to boot". The water was absolutely dark, lots of what looked like mud laying in the bottom "see pic".
Taking the unit apart for cleaning couldn't be easier, first just take out the water tank, dump, remove the air filter, wash out the tank assembly and set aside to dry, I also rinsed out the air filter according to instructions and set it aside to dry out. Next, cleaning the brush was easier than expected, just lift up on the back side of the cover and it pops right off, then there's a small tab on the right side of the brush marked "pull", pull up and the brush comes right out. I took that to the sink rinsed and squeezed out all the water I could and put it in the drying tray. I noticed the head and intake tube had a lot of dirt in them so I took it to the bath tub and rinsed it out and placed in the try to dry, I had actually forgotten you can use the tray to rinse the whole thing out, just used to cleaning our old carpet cleaner that way, I'll try that sometime. Oh, and the solution tank, it only took half of it to clean up those areas, wow, our other one took at least one tank "and it's bigger". So this appears really economical to run.
In all I'd say this beat our other floor cleaner by simple versatility, how well it cleaned and how little of the solution it actually used. It probably doesn't get right down into the grout as well as our other one, but I'll know more as time goes on, and it's easy enough to use more often so that may be a moot point.
My wife is really pleased with the outcome, some of the spots on the runner in the kitchen are now gone and it looks great. The throw rugs colors in the dining area look like new again, "didn't realize they were that dingy till after cleaning".
I'll highly recommend this floor cleaner and if you have a lot of hardwood, laminate, tile and throw rugs "which we do, no carpet anywhere" then this would be a great machine for you. I did see Bissell is coming out with a area rug specific brush and have that on my want list as I think it will do an even better job on the throw rugs even though the results are already outstanding.

Very nice addition to the Yoga line.
By SteveC from Mississippi
I received mine a couple days ago, I returned a Yoga Pro 2 as the scaling of the high resolution screen was something I didn't like, and that the yellow color was still off after the patch, better but still off, especially when you turned down the brightness.
The screen on this is a full 1080p and is more fitting for this size of a screen and so far I haven't had the scaling problems I had with the Ideapad. The colors are bright, crisp, and yellow looks like yellow, no green hue to it at all. The only thing I noticed is upon boot there's some light bleeding on the top edge of the LCD, it's not that bad and disappears once the main background has loaded.
The Thinkpad is definitely heavier and thicker than the Ideapad Yogas but the build quality is very sturdy and there's room for a 2.5" 7mm hard drive. The 5400 RPM drive that comes with it isn't the fastest but the 16gb M.2 SSD catching drive helps. I'm planning on replacing the main drive with a large SSD.
I haven't had a chance to use it much yet but it looks like this one is a keeper, easier to update and expand, and windows scaling handles the 1080p screen much better. The keyboard as IMHO is much better than the Ideapads, the keys are larger and it feels like a normal laptop keyboard. I really don't have an opinion about the track point mouse as I use a wireless mouse 99% of the time, but the little I tried it seemed to work fine.
The last thing is heat, the Yoga 2 Pro got very hot after an hour or so of watching a movie, the fans were still very quiet but it was too warm for my liking. The Thinkpad running the exact same thing was much cooler. Looking at the underside of the laptop you can see there are a lot more vents for cooling than what the Ideapad has, "basically 0" but that also means you have to be careful not to block those vents or I'm sure the unit will get just as hot as the Ideapad.
Next I'll be trying out some games so see how it handles the heat using the Geforce GT840M, that's another very nice addition not very often seen on this size of laptop.

Update
November 4, 2014
I've successfully changed the drives around, I now have a 240gb Crucial M500 7mm SSD as the main drive and a 256gb Transcend M.2 SSD as a data/storage drive, works perfectly. I used the USB restoration drive I created to do a clean install of Windows, now this machine boots lightning fast and runs even cooler than before.
I've played Fallout 3 with all the settings on Med-High and the resolution set at 1080.
The game plays flawlessly and the machine doesn't get too hot, actually a lot cooler than I expected and the keyboard/trackpad area never got warm to the touch.
So far this exactly the laptop I've been waiting for. A smaller portable laptop that can play games, and as a bonus can turn into a tablet, "a very large tablet" but very functional as a tablet none the less.

WARNING!!!!
By SteveC from Mississippi
Just an FYI, do not buy this and plan on returning if t doesn't fit, BB will not refund after the package has been opened.
I purchased this for my wife and it didn't fit properly and wanted one with an ear hook.
I took it back the CSR and MOD both said they cannot take it back as it's a Motorola policy????
No where is it posted on the display, the website or receipt that you cannot return this item once opened.
Just a warning to anyone thinking about purchasing this item.

I did say "Do not buy if you plan on returning"
But as and update to this. After calling the Best Buy customer care number and they checked into the problem.
The CSR stated he didn't see why they wouldn't return it and contacted the store and spoke to the MOD that refused the return. He came back after a few minutes and asked me if I could return it to a different store providing there's one closer "which there is".
I took it back yesterday to the other store and the person at the returns desk said their system showed the same thing "Open Box" unable to return.
The MOD there took the time to look into the issue and returned the item stating that it's not a Motorola policy but just a mistake in their system, and that the MOD at the other store was just being lazy and not wanting to take the effort to look up the problem.
I'd be happy if BB wanted to remove this review if they know the issue with the returns has been resolved.

I noticed that there is a ring around the face of the Smartwatch and I was wondering if this rotates to select options? I ask because it seems to be welded in the pictures.

It doesn't rotate and is part of the case.
