Chevy Chase stars in the downhome comedy Funny Farm. Warner's work on this transfer is only a measly 1.33:1 full-frame transfer which sports all the inconsistencies associated with a pan-and-scan disc. While the colors are mostly solid and the black levels well saturated, overall the image retains a soft, hazy feel that will disappoint most fans of the film. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround in English and French. This is a very mediocre soundtrack that features little-to-no directional effects and a small amount of distortion in the dialogue during a few key scenes. English subtitles are also included on this disc. Alas, when it comes to extra features Funny Farm is no laughing matter -- not one supplement is available on this disc.

I remember watching this film on cable in the 1980's.
I have always liked it.
Not the best Chevy movie by any means, but a short decent comedy.
NEVER understood the car the characters drove in it. Anyone ever see a top on that thing? Like it is 80 degrees all year long right.
I do not remember that this film did that well at the box office.
The 2 flaws in this DVD package: 1. The film is NOT wide screen Come on DVD makers, the character in the film is the Red Bud city/area they moved to. So, we the DVD buyers are cheated out of seeing it & 2. These GLAD THEY DO NOT MAKE THEM ANYMORE card board DVD case. These things are terrible.
Anyway, if you like quiet, simple story comedies you will like this film.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An artist with a 15 minute career.
His 2 main hit songs I Just Wanna Stop & Living Inside Myself are here.
I bought the album for his 1980’s song that MTV played the video for, just love the song Black Cars.
If you like these songs then buy this, just remember how short his career was.

How much Julian looks like his father.
I remember when this album came out.
Thought it was a good start to a career that should have been very successful.
Nope, 2 albums and that was it.
The title song track 1 Valotte still good & I think holds up in time.
It was too bad for him his music career just went no where. Would have liked to see it be long time successful.

Yes, the show is a guilty pleasure.
Episodes that aired in 2009. 12 episodes this season
Now, THE IMPROVEMENTS. 1. The episodes are wide screen, 2. Disc 1 has deleted scenes & 3. Disc 2 has commentary for episodes. Why not with each episode-no clue about that. But it is MUCH better than the blog from Rob on season 2.
Now, this time out apparently there are ONLY 3 Kardashians in this season. Kourtney, Kim & Khloe are only shown on both sides of the DVD case. BOTH discs have the same photo of them. So, they do NOT give credit to Kris, Bruce, Rob, Kendall & Kylie? Show is called Keeping Up With The Kardashians NOT Keeping Up With The Kardashian Sisters.
1 big mistake done again on this DVD. Same CHEAP, PLASTIC DVD CASE WITH THE INTENTIONAL HOLES IN IT. CHEAP & NOT SAFE. Apparently the DVD makers just want people to buy this over & over again since the DVD are NOT safely secure.
And, a point for anyone. There was MASS CONFUSION ABOUT THE RELEASE DATE OF THIS DVD. It was released 8-17-10. Some stores & websites changed the date until 9-21-10. THIS WAS UNTRUE. I purchased the DVD from a local store 8-18-10. So, make sure IF you want it check with the store. DO NOT GO BY PRINTED MATERIAL
