Great sound track to a great film

I was a kid when the film came out.
The stand out the memorable car chase.
Do not grow tired of watching the film.
And, I love the soundtrack.
It completely fit’s the film and of course the best track goes with the car chase track 2 "Shifting Gears". Can listen to that over and over.
A fan of Lalo Schifrin will enjoy this soundtrack.
A great soundtrack that does NOT disappoint.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Before hitting the box-office jackpot with the Austin Powers franchise, comedian Mike Myers gained notoriety with his eclectic stable of characters on NBC's Saturday Night Live. This DVD collects 16 sketches from the show, including Wayne's World, Spockets, and Coffee-Talk. Along with the sketches, the disc features footage from dress rehearsals, an outtakes reel, and a photo gallery.

Good, not great DVD, some of his best SNL work

I enjoyed the DVD in part.
At least the makers of the DVD did not TOTALLY disappoint like they did with the first of the Best Of Will Ferrell DVD by leaving off his me memorable bits.
In this one with Mike we get 2 of the famous "Wayne's" World bits Aerosmith and Tom Hanks together and Madonna.
We get the famous "Coffee Talk" bit with Barbra, Madonna and Roseanne.
Some bits I expected were not there. BUT, as I stated above, about the Will Ferrell first DVD this one is not as bad as you have those memorable bits I commented on above.
Not perfect but a good DVD.

Bad way to go out.

I was a late bloomer fan of the show. I did not start watching it until about 2000 in reruns.
The characters you like, the characters you hate.
I like Donna Jo (D.J.), Stephanie, Jesse, Rebecca & Danny.
I hate Michelle & Joey.
The Olson twins could NOT act. And, if I heard "Cut It Out" out of Joey 1 more time.
The show was still a hit when ABC removed it. Was it the storylines for this last season.
The ending of the D. J. & Steve relationship. Then, her brief dating of other guys, the rich guy then Viper. Remember, we NEVER learned his real name.
Repeating storylines again. Just in season 7 Episode 8 "Another Opening, Another No Show". Jesse & Kimmy getting locked in a storage room during the Smash Club opening. Here we go again. Episode 11 "Arrest Ye Merry Gentlemen" The Mickey Rooney episode, Jesse & Michelle locked in his store. How many times did Jesse get locked in someplace in the entire 8 seasons?
Another episode with an animal. How many episodes did they use this bit?
Normally the show was good family entertainment, same with this season BUT with these flaws.

Still love this show

Yep, I am NOT afraid to admit I have always loved this show.
Silly, a cheesy story line.
But, it was funny.
Of course, the beginning of Hanks career.
More scenes & lines I remember. Love Dot.
For then future TV references the makers of the show were the makers of "Full House". You will note any "Full House" fans in the episode where Danny & Joey go back to college in a prank they are dress just like Tom & Peter wore. Cue the wardrobe department, same dresses? "Not The Last Picture Show" showing the cast in the future. They did that on "Full House" as well.
And, on the DVD, where is Billy Joel’s "My Life"?
I still remember scenes & can quote lines. Episode one "Macho Man".
To me, just as funny today as when first aired.

You can see that in episode "The Show Must Go On". Gee whiz, we see Bob Saget as “Bob the Comic”.

This season we had two managers of "The Susan B Anthony". Not to be seen again in season 2.

The show was tired by season 7

In this season we ended the Danny & Vickie romance. I had like the Vickie character.
They had done this throughout the show. Tired show ideas & stealing ideas from other shows.
Example disc 24. "A House Divided" Where Michelle & her friends wreck the house to prevent Danny from selling it. Let’s go back in time. Third season of "The Partridge Family" episode 13 "For Sale By Owner" same thing happened.
I just hated episode 18 "Kissing Cousins". John playing a look alike cousin. Man was that bad.
Episode 8 "Another Opening, Another No Show". How many times in the show’s 8 seasons did someone get locked in show place?
Normally the show was good family entertainment, same with this season BUT with these flaws.

Robert Zemeckis' special effects laden black comedy Death Becomes Her comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that fails to preserve the original theatrical aspect ratio of the film. English, Spanish, and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish subtitles are accessible, and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence. This is a sub-par release from Universal.

Where is the wide screen?
on February 23, 2011

I remember when the film came out. So much press about the special effects in the film.
And, what does Universal do? Makes the film ONLY in full screen? Does NOT do justice to the film.
The film itself is entertaining. Meryl & Goldie do good jobs with their characters. Willis, did NOT need him in here. I think he was miscast.
Going back to the special effects, they were good & do well in standing up to the test of time.
No good extras on this, just standard cast information. NOTHING on the actors or the special effects, nothing.
I hope Universal rereleases the film IN THE NEEDED WIDE SCREEN FORMAT.

This release contains every episode from the 14th and final season of the smash-hit CBS prime time soap opera Dallas, starring Larry Hagman oil tycoon J.R. Ewing. The season is capped off by a series finale that borrow from the holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life.

The end After all the stupid storylines
on February 21, 2011
Posted by: CKCSWHFFAN

The show lasted 14 seasons.
All fans remember the start of the show, the good storylines and characters.
They let the show go on too long.
How stupid the storylines got.
Here we go with the last season. They got rid of Miss Ellie and Lucy AGAIN for the entire season. We see Clayton a couple of times.
For the last episodes we get to see Sue Ellen, Gary, Ray & Kristen with the stupid finale with Oscar winner Joel Grey.
Bringing in Barbara Eden for a reunion with Larry for several episodes. Susan Lucci for several episodes with that horrible, made no sense storyline that killed the April character.
Bobby moping for another wife lost, yet another woman to pick up the pieces.
The James character, terrible. None of these storyline made SENSE. How many more shootings did we need, how many more murders.
They did their style of the famous Dynasty shoot out.
I had loved the show, but these last seasons were just bad.
And, for the end of the show, why NO EXTRAS on here?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This unique package from Lightship Entertainment - produced and released in association with Disney Parks, L.L.C. - brings into a single collection six guided travel documentaries on the highlights of Disney recreational sites, plus a plethora of thematically-related bonus features. It begins with Walt Disney World Resort: Behind the Scenes (2002), which unveils the inner workings of such attractions as Mission Space, The Haunted Mansion, and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. A companion film, Disneyland Resort: Behind the Scenes (2003), does the same for Disneyland in Anaheim, California, by unveiling the secrets of rides including The Matterhorn Bobsleds, Pirates of the Caribbean and It's a Small World. The third documentary in the set, Ultimate Walt Disney World (2004), hones in exclusively on various thrill rides at Disney World, including an elevator plunge, a roller coaster that travels in the dark, and another that simulates a flight into space. The fourth documentary in the package, Disney's Animal Kingdom, travels inside the fourth park built at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, which opened in 1998 - after Epcot, The Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Per its title, the fifth documentary in the set, Disney Cruise Line, travels inside of the luxury boats operated by Disney, and takes viewers on a tour of the Disney island getaway, Castaway Cay. Finally, the sixth documentary in the set, Undiscovered Disney Parks, presents a series of seldom-discussed alternatives to Disney rides - the many lesser-known sites and attractions housed at the park. Special features in the package include "King Arthur Carousel," "Catastrophe Canyon," "Goofy's Barnstomer," "Virtual Ride on the Disney Dream Aquaduck," and "What's New in the Haunted Mansion."

Good but still disappointing DVD package
on January 1, 2011

I was looking forward to purchasing this DVD package since I am a Disney fan
I have always enjoyed programming about the theme parks.
It is a good DVD package BUT it is NOT great.
6 discs.
Discs 1, 3, 4 & part of 6 is on Disney World. Discs 2 & part of 6 on Disneyland. Disc 5 on the cruise line.
So, YOU HAVE TO ASK, where are the discs for Paris & Tokyo?
Each disc is under an hour long, disc 4 is only 42 minutes.
Disc 1 CLAIMS to last an hour. Last time I heard an hour is 60 minutes NOT 52 minutes. Disc 3 "Ultimate Walt Disney World" claims they did NOT have enough time to feature all the attractions. Dishonest. Yes you do, make the feature time longer, make another DVD, etc.
You do NOT get to see a lot of detail on all attractions, restaurants, hotels, etc. It is normal we do a few of them. SOME are done more than once . In both the Disneyland & Disney World featured discs "Pirates of the Caribbean" is mentioned. They mention the refurbishment to input the as I write this 3 films with Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow BUT THEY BARELY SHOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE CHANGES BECAUSE OF THIS. I WANTED TO SEE THIS. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Disney 1 Disney World has a brief extra on changes to "The Haunted Mansion". We see the "Toy Story" attraction more than once, same as "Mission Space". BUT other major attractions are not shown at all of briefly seen.
You see how many times how "Soaring" was made, I saw this on 3 of the discs.
As I said above, this is a good collection BUT it is still disappointing. MORE should have been shown on other attractions, restaurants, hotels, shops, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good BUT not as good as the other 2 & the release

OK, I have been waiting to write this up. I HOPE FOX READS THIS. THE RELEASE DATE FOR THIS DVD. TUESDAY 12-21-10. Sure, I really wanted to go out in the Christmas shopping for the 2cd year in a row to buy this, like the Empire version 12-22-09. Poor judgment Fox.
Of the original trilogy Jedi is the least popular & the same goes here. They even cover this in the beginning story telling words on the screen.
For us Star Wars fans we will appreciate Carrie who already does a character in the show does the voice of Mon Mothma.
We see a bit from "Caddyshack" & you will laugh at Conway Twitty in the Darth helmet.
It is funny BUT not laughs do not come as often as the first two installments.
Extras on this, it is a 1 disc DVD. The digital copy is on the same DVD disc.
NO CHAPTER SEARCH LIST & OF COURSE THE OTHER THING I HATE. THEY RELEASED THIS WITH ONE OF THOSE CHEAP DVD CASES WITH THE INTENTIONAL HOLES IN IT. THESE THINGS ARE CHEAP & CAN DAMAGE YOUR DVD, JUST SO YOU WILL BE FORCED TO BUY ANOTHER. HANDS UP WHO HATES THESE CASES?
"Star Wars" & "Family Guy" fans should enjoy this but Seth Green may not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Kardashian sisters feel the impact of celebrity in this season, when Khloé must deal with the very public aftermath of her DUI, while Kim and Kourtney contend with sibling rivalry as their professional and personal relationships blur.

Guilty pleasure, MUCH IMPROVED OVER SEASON 2
By CKCSWHFFAN from home
Yes, the show is a guilty pleasure.
Episodes that aired in 2009. 12 episodes this season
Now, THE IMPROVEMENTS. 1. The episodes are wide screen, 2. Disc 1 has deleted scenes & 3. Disc 2 has commentary for episodes. Why not with each episode-no clue about that. But it is MUCH better than the blog from Rob on season 2.
Now, this time out apparently there are ONLY 3 Kardashians in this season. Kourtney, Kim & Khloe are only shown on both sides of the DVD case. BOTH discs have the same photo of them. So, they do NOT give credit to Kris, Bruce, Rob, Kendall & Kylie? Show is called Keeping Up With The Kardashians NOT Keeping Up With The Kardashian Sisters.
1 big mistake done again on this DVD. Same CHEAP, PLASTIC DVD CASE WITH THE INTENTIONAL HOLES IN IT. CHEAP & NOT SAFE. Apparently the DVD makers just want people to buy this over & over again since the DVD are NOT safely secure.
And, a point for anyone. There was MASS CONFUSION ABOUT THE RELEASE DATE OF THIS DVD. It was released 8-17-10. Some stores & websites changed the date until 9-21-10. THIS WAS UNTRUE. I purchased the DVD from a local store 8-18-10. So, make sure IF you want it check with the store. DO NOT GO BY PRINTED MATERIAL
