For The Price Looks and Sounds Great!

After using it for a few days I can say without reservation that I really love this Samsung curved monitor. Despite a few minor flaws that I will elaborate on later in my review, I find the look and performance to be superb.
I personally like the curved design because I like the immersion it creates. I also like that when used as part of a multi monitor display, that the curve slightly narrows my field of view so I can see more without having to shift my eyes as much. Because the benefits of a curved screen are very dependent on personal preference, I recommend that if this would be your first curved screen, that you go to your local Best Buy and see it in person. My significant other told me that she really likes it, but a friend told me that he preferred a traditional non-curved monitor after he saw it.
The unpacking and setup were typical, except for the quirky method that the stand attaches to the monitor. The stand has to be initially inverted before the screw is attached, and then rotated around to the correct orientation before the screw can be finally tightened so it is secure. Like I said, somewhat quirky but the steps are illustrated in the setup sheet. I think this is something that should be changed in the future because if someone doesn't check the instruction before they try to attach the stand, in what appears to be the correct orientation, could result in the screw being stripped
Included in the box are an HDMI cable, DisplayPort cable, and the power adapter.
The color and picture quality are excellent. I am using it in cinema mode and find the color temperature to be pleasantly warm without too much red shift. It is a full HD monitor so it is capable of rendering content in the 1080P resolution. The 75Hz refresh rate makes this monitor suitable for gaming. I tested it with Fortnite and was very pleased with the experience.
I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of the 2 internal 5 watt speakers. They sound much better than most other monitor speakers. I personally use headphones so as to not disturb others, but I would rate them as being suitable for basic listening which is something that I have not been able to say about monitor speakers in a long time.
The monitor height is not adjustable and I consider this to be a minor flaw. I will probably compensate for this at some point by using a stand to raise the height. The tilt is thankfully adjustable
This is my second Samsung monitor and I love this one as much as I love the first one. Samsung makes great displays and this monitor lives up to that expectation. It looks great and has amazing picture quality. This curved display is perfect for watching movies and gaming, and I strongly recommend that you give it a look.

Capable and Affordable Windows 11 Laptop

This Acer Aspire 3 is an excellent choice for anyone that needs an affordable and capable Windows 11 Laptop. It has enough system memory and processing power to support most productivity needs. If you are a power user or a serious gamer, then this laptop is of course not the right choice. But in the middle range price tier, where it comfortably sits, it more than meets expectations.
My significant other was eager to try this laptop out as she has a hybrid work schedule which consists of working from home and office and frequent travel. One feature that she especially liked is that there is a dedicated HDMI out, as she prefers the native HDMI aspect ratio for her primary monitor as opposed to the video output from a USB-C Hub..
As just mentioned, we are using this device with a portable USB-C Hub. The function of the USB-C port is flawless, which allows us to connect and disconnect our laptops on the fly without having to reconnect accessories. The USB-C port accepts [power and since we are using a Hub with power delivery, using the included power adapter is not necessary as the laptop is fully powered by the Hub. The laptop has enough ports to be used without a Hub with the exception of a SD card slot. Most Hubs have a SD card port, so this will not be a problem unless you are not planning on using a Hub, which I strongly recommend for all laptops with USB-C capability.
We are using it as part of a dual monitor setup, but on its own the 15 inch 1080P internal display is suitable for watching videos or for use as a second or third display, which is how we are using it.

The internal speakers sound typical for a laptop, so I strongly recommend headphones or an external speaker. The keyboard has a nice feel to it with a medium amount of travel. The keyboard is not backlit, but that is not to be expected at this price point. We will be using an external keyboard at home and when working away from home, but the laptop keyboard and touchpad are completely serviceable without an external mouse or keyboard. I like that it has a 10 key number pad which many laptops omit to save space.
Battery life is excellent. Expect 10 to 12 hours of typical use per charge. It took about 2 hours to fully charge from zero. A proprietary charger is included but as I indicated earlier, the USB-C port can be used to charge the laptop, so I will likely never use the included charger..
At this price range you can’t go wrong with Acer Aspire 3. Acer makes fabulous products, and this laptop lives up to that expectation. It is attractive, lightweight, and an absolute pleasure to use. A nice added feature is that Acer has included a matching branded laptop sleeve. This is a very nice touch that I wish would become more standard..

Compatible With MagSafe and Wireless Chargers

If you are looking for a high quality, but affordable iPhone case look no further! This case is as nice and protective as more expensive name brands. The silicone material feels great in my hands, and I love the look because it blends perfectly with my dark gray iPhone.
The material is soft, light, and easy to handle, but I never got the feeling that my expensive phone was unprotected. I usually drop my phone once or twice a week, so I need a case that will protect my phone from ordinary wear and tear. This case provides that protection and gives me complete peace of mind.
I am happy to report that this case is completely compatible with MagSafe and wireless charging. I was somewhat concerned that the embedded MagSafe insert would block Qi wireless charging. I tried it with several different MagSafe and wireless chargers and this case worked with every one I tried. This was important to me because I use multiple wireless chargers around my home and workplace.
Pick your favorite color and get this case! It is well worth the price, provides great protection, and feels great in my hand.

Perfect For Audio/Video Teleconferencing

My significant other works from home exclusively and has several video meetings per day, so when an opportunity to try this Microsoft audio dock presented itself, we jumped at the opportunity.
The box arrived and included the speaker and power adapter. The power adapter is rated at 90W and provides power pass through to your laptop via the attached USB-C cable. Most docks use about 15W for itself, so the charge being passed through will actually be somewhat less. The power being passed through will be sufficient to power most non-gaming laptops with ease. The primary PC it is being used with is a Dell Latitude business laptop. I also tested it with my gaming ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, and I was able to use the laptop at less than maximum processing power, which was to be expected because the proprietary ASUS power adapter is 120W.
Setting it up with the Dell laptop was as simple as plugging it in and connecting the cables and adapters. Everything was plug and play and thankfully an app is not necessary. A Microsoft app (Microsoft Accessory Center) is available for device configuration, but thankfully it is optional. This is especially important as most people using employer furnished laptops don't have administrator rights to add software applications.
This audio dock falls right in the middle of hubs that have more than enough expansion ports and hubs that have not quite enough. Fortunately we were able to connect all of her peripherals with room to spare. Two video outputs are available (1 HDMI and 1 USB-C) for dual monitor use. We are only using the HDMI port on the audio dock because she prefers the aspect ratio of the laptop HDMI out for her primary monitor.
Sound quality, as can be expected, is quite good. The size of the speaker generates full range sound that far exceeds what the thin speakers in a laptop can produce. There is especially an improvement in the clarity of vocals. I immediately noticed that people speaking during her meetings were much clearer due to the woofer being able to accurately reproduce low and midrange frequencies. Music and movies likewise sound much better than sound from the laptop internal speakers.
This MS device is Teams branded and has a Teams button but will work with any teleconferencing software. If your laptop can run the application then it will likely work. We tested it with Teams and WebEx and it worked flawlessly. The buttons are big enough to easily find and press. I think most people will frequently use the microphone mute and volume buttons and find them useful.
The two internal microphones work very well. However there is not much of an improvement over what we were used to from her iPhone 14 Pro. This is not a knock against the dock mics, more that the iPhone 14 pro has a nice internal mic in its own right.
Another benefit of this device is that while I would not label it as compact, it is small enough to take while traveling. This would be especially useful if you need to travel for work and performance is a priority while traveling.
Overall I enthusiastically recommend this Microsoft audio dock. If you work from home and have a lot of online meetings, it is a perfect accessory.

Must Have Compact Laptop Accessory

Since the deployment of the USB-C port on computers, quality hubs have become a must have accessory. In my opinion, one of the best features of the USB-C standard is that it offers a one cable solution to set up multiple displays.
The 100W of power delivery is enough to power a laptop, power the hub, and provide power to the ports. Remember that it is pass-through power, which means that the hub must be connected to a power adapter in order to pass the power to your laptop. I would recommend using the most powerful adapter you have up to 100W. This is because the hub needs 15W to operate, so the maximum power it will actually deliver is 85W. Thai will not be a problem for most laptops, but if your compact laptop only came with a smaller adapter you might have problems if it needs a specific wattage to properly operate, which some compact laptops do.
What really sets this hub apart from other hubs is the inclusion of a USB4 controller. This is what allows the use of dual 4K display outputs. It accomplished this by upping the bandwidth. Even if you don’t have a video card that is 4K capable I think that the higher bandwidth will be beneficial to anyone.
Another thing that I really like about this hub is that it is completely plug and play and does not require the user to manually download a driver. All that is necessary is to connect it and windows automatically detects the hub and configures the driver. Having to manually download a driver can be a problem if you are trying to use it with a work device that you don't have administrator privileges on to install a new device. Thankfully that will never be an issue with this hub.
This j5create does everything you would expect from it, and does it well. It looks good, has a nice number of ports, and is small enough to easily transport. It is perfect for someone who travels a lot or someone that doesn’t need more than 2 displays. If you need a 3 monitor set up or need to connect a large number of devices, then you might want to get a larger hub that has 3 display outputs and more ports. This hub will now be my primary hub to take when I travel.

Very Good, Just Short of Great

Overall I find the Soundcore Sleep Earbuds to be a solid product. It mostly does exactly what it is supposed to do. I am giving it 4 stars because of some limitations with the product that I am hoping can be fixed with future firmware and/or software updates. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
I was eager to try these sleep specific earbuds because I have trouble sleeping and wanted to start keeping track of my sleep patterns. I am also a light sleeper and wanted to try the white noise masking feature. My significant other is also a light sleeper so we were both intrigued by the concept.
The first problem that I noticed was that the earbuds sometimes disconnect from my phone in the middle of the night. I am not quite sure why this happens some nights and not others, but it does happen. If this happens all the sleep data after the disconnect is not recorded, and the data before the disconnect can’t be retrieved until the earbuds are reconnected.
Another problem I had was that the earbuds are supposed to detect when a person falls asleep and then turn the sleep sound effects off. However, in practice the earbuds sometimes detect that I am sleeping when I am not. Luckily the earbuds can be set to always play sleep sounds. I find the sleep sounds to be very effective masking out other more disturbing noises. Especially considering that these earbuds function as earplugs due to the passive noise canceling.
Other than the sleep functions, these earbuds can be used as a traditional set of wireless earbuds by using them in music mode as opposed to sleep mode.
I really like the design of the case because it slides open instead of the usual flip up to open. The case uses magnets and sliding the case open is easier than overcoming the magnetic resistance of flip to open cases.
Soundcore makes some of the best earbuds on the market, and these earbuds live up to their reputation. The sound quality is excellent. I would have no trouble taking these earbuds with me on a trip and having them pull double duty as sleep aid and wireless earbuds.
If Souncore can work out some of the glitches with the sleep mode then they will have a real winner on their hands. Unfortunately for me they sometimes did not work exactly as well as I would have hoped in sleep mode. If I had to guess, I would say that the sleep mode glitched 1 in 5 times or so. My significant other tried them as well and she had the same problems. So they are still very good, but just short of being great.

Does The Job You Need It To Do

This iPhone 13 and 14 compatible case is a great choice if you are on a budget and you need a case that provides good protection at an affordable price. This phone case is a part of the Best Buy store brand line that offers a variety of nice products that are not overly expensive.
This case fits my iPhone well. The front section of the case is slightly raised to help protect the screen from direct front falls. This phone case is slightly on the thin side, but will likely protect the phone for all except the most damaging of impacts. I would not use it for extreme outdoor activities, but it should provide adequate protection from most typical drops.
Since this case is clear, the Apple symbol and color of the phone is shown through the transparent material. Whether that appeals to you or not is a personal preference. I really like that the case is very easy to take on and off. I frequently swap phone cases for aesthetic reasons, so a case that is easy to take on and off is a must for me. The case cut outs precisely match the iPhone, so all of the buttons, ports, and controls are accessible.
There are nicer cases out there for more money. But if money is tight then this iPhone case does the job you need it to do.

Just As Good As More Expensive Phone Cases

I have been using this Insignia iPhone case for a few days and I am very impressed. I have no hesitation walking around with it protecting my expensive iPhone. It feels sturdy enough to provide protection just as well as more expensive name brand phone cases. Since phone cases can be so expensive, I think that it is great that Best Buy is making quality store brand cases that are affordably priced.
This case feels very well made for the price, and should provide more than adequate protection from typical drops or bumps. The front portion of the case is slightly raised to protect the screen from frontal falls.The main purpose of a phone case is to protect the phone, and this case will do that for all but the most damaging of impacts. So unless you are using it in extreme circumstances, your expensive iPhone will be protected.
This case fits my IPhone snugly, while still being easily taken on and off. This is important to me because I rotate cases in and out of use based on my preferences that week. For this reason, I prefer a case that is easy to take on and off. The sizing of the cutouts are perfect making all of the controls and ports easily accessible. Since parts of the case are clear, the Apple symbol and color of the phone is shown through the case.
If you are on a budget and need a quality, but affordably priced case, then I strongly suggest you give this product a look. If any of the designs appeal to you then it will provide excellent protection at an affordable price.

Great Starter Air Fryer

What sets this air fryer apart from fryers is, in a word, simplicity. This is not a bad thing though, because simplicity usually results in reliability. Operating this air fryer is refreshingly intuitive. The knob and lever are clearly labeled and most anyone can take one look at it, and instantly figure out how to use it.
Bella rates it as being capable of air frying, roasting, broiling, baking and reheating.
This air fryer couldn’t be easier to use. All it takes is loading the basket and setting the temperature and cooking time.
The four quart basket is large, and it will hold enough food for most situations.
I was quite impressed with how hot this fryer can get. High heat is very important to get foods like fries and chicken nice and crispy. I am using it instead of my microwave to reheat foods and find that the air fryer produces superior results. Quite similar to an oven but at much lower energy cost.
The dishwasher safe basket can be washed as necessary, but I prefer to just wipe it down after each use.

This Sony 4K HDR TV boasts 4K technology for vibrant hues. Its X940D series features a bold 75-inch screen and slim design. Wires remain hidden, and the unit is easily wall mounted. This television has a 4K Processor X1 and 4K X-Reality PRO for crisp video. This Sony 4K HDR TV is easy to control via voice commands.

Replaced an old SXRD Sony 60" from 8 years ago. Tried the 65" 930 model and that picture was good however not like the 940D. Full array backlighting makes a big difference. First one upon delivery had a line all along the right side of the screen and a horizontal line about 6 inches up from the bottom of the screen. Magnolia came out a few days later with a replacement and this one is much better. Remote control is not user friendly, poor design, Arc audio does not work with my 2 year old Yamaha receiver so must use separate fibre optic cable to allow audio to services. Sony 3D nothing like the Samsung. 4 free movies promotion was difficult to set up and must supply credit card info to get promo and only 8 titles to choose from. I wish they would have included the 3D glasses instead of free movies with a $6500 TV. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend as a great home theater TV with lots of smart features.

Cable Box breaks ARC

Are you using a cable box? Cable and satellite boxes are notorious for breaking ARC. When I disconnected the cable box HDMI cable from the chain, ARC started working. I am going to get a HDMI "CEC less adapter" and connect it to the cable box which should fix the problem.

It is about as loud as any powerful vacuum. To my ear no more or no less. I do not know the exact decibel level. But my pets run and hide from it.

What is the charging setup - does it need to be charged on a wall-mounted dock or can you just plug it in anywhere with an AC adapter while it's folded over? Can the battery be removed easily and swapped, assuming they start selling batteries separately?
The battery can be charged while attached to the vacuum, either when it is folded over or upright. The battery can be removed and charged while removed. The battery is very easy to remove and attach.

No it can not. This camera does not have electrical connections for a junction box.

I want to use wireless assuming it has an internal battery you can remove, bring inside and charge then insert it back in unit? How does it work wirelessly?
The camera housing snaps out of the wall mount by pressing a button. You bring the entire unit in for charging. It is a very simple method.
