Well-Designed, Portable, Muscle Treatment Relief

I did not know what to expect when I chose this Theragun Mini by Therabody to review in exchange for the actual product. It turned out to be one of the wisest choices I ever made. I suffer from earlier construction-related injuries to my neck, shoulders, and back. My wife endures severe muscle and joint pain from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. We both have used prescription creams, rubs, and ointments for relief. All offer short-lived, and welcomed comfort, but are limited in muscle-pain alleviation and are expensive to use.
We have never considered a 'Massage-Device' similar to the Theragun Mini, because we thought it was probably too painful to endure this kind of pulsating massage technique. Since we are both elderly we now realize “older dogs can learn new tricks”. When I received this Theragun Mini I thought to myself while unboxing this device - it was one ugly, clumsy-looking, massage instrument. Oh', how wrong I was.
So, what do we think of this Theragun Mini after using it daily for over a week, and why would we recommend it to other folks with muscle pains for an alternative relief to prescription creams, ointments, and pain relievers?
* EFFECTIVENESS – Simply stated, this rascal works beyond my/our expectations! It is amazing the way its pulsating percussion attachments relieves our muscle pains, and makes for a HAPPY Grandma and Grandpa. The included standard ball is meant for most massage applications and targets percussive therapy treatment while still allowing for broad use on small and large muscle groups. I use this Theragun Mini, with the standard included ball, at its highest setting for my knees. The included 'standard ball' is appropriate for most massage applications, and, the speed intensity of the pulses can easily be changed to customize our comfort-relief preferences. We ordered and received the 'Thumb' and 'Dampener' attachments to enhance our therapeutic, massage benefits (see pics). The 'Thumb' accessory is terrific for more intense muscle massage areas like on my shoulders. And, the larger 'Dampener' attachment is outstanding for use on more sensitive areas like my wife's neck and lower back. WooHoo! The attachment accessories are inexpensive, effective, and expands the massage-effectiveness of this Theragun Mini.
* OPERATION - There is a simplistic 'Learning-Curve' to its operation, tailored to my/your own personal use. Once I read the included and uncomplicated instructions, I charged the on-board, Lithium-Ion Battery, and was ready to use this baby when the flashing light turned Solid Green (after 30 minutes), and 80 minutes from a deleted charge. It has a multi-functional, LED, power/speed button on the right side of the device. When the Theragun Mini button is depressed it automatically engages the lowest massage speed of 1750 PPM and turns the unit ON. I can keep the ON/OFF button depressed to engage the 2100, or 2400 PPM speeds, accordingly. An LED light on the Right-Hand of the ON/OFF power switch will indicate the appropriate massage speeds, 1750, 2100, or 2400 Pulses Per Minute (PPM). Keeping the button depressed for several seconds will shut the unit down.
* BUILD – This clunky-looking unit is so ergonomic and lightweight to hold while using, it is pleasantly surprising! It weighs approximately 1.2 pounds. This triangular-shaped massager is covered with a non-slip material, which enables a firm grip in hard-to-reach and more difficult areas of my body. I have arthritis, yet, can maneuver this massager effortlessly without any stress on my wrists or hands. It is cleverly designed to be ergonomic and runs fairly quiet while providing various speeds of pain-relieving rapid percussion. It is not noisy, but the higher your selected, percussion speed the more its operation is noticed. However, it is entirely overshadowed by its welcomed muscle relief. How cool is that?
BATTERY LIFE – One of the most impressive features of this Theragun Mini is its long battery life. At present my wife and I share this unit and we both use it intermittently the entire day. At 150 minutes of use, on full charge, it has lasted us three days before recharging. We found that it takes approximately an hour and 15 minutes to completely recharge. Be aware this unit has a proprietary charger. Battery level on the mini is indicated with the following colors:
Flashing red: Low charge
Flashing blue: Half-way charged
Flashing green: High charge
Solid green: Fully charged
Flashing blue: Half-way charged
Flashing green: High charge
Solid green: Fully charged
* TRAVEL - I travel a lot as a Consultant for Construction Inspections, which requires me to climb ladders, multi-story roofs, scaffolds, and crawl through confined spaces while trekking through, and, over construction debris. After work in the privacy of my motel room the percussion therapy provided by this Theragun Mini is amazing. It allows me comforting, muscle, pain relief while I am on the road. A handy soft travel pouch is included, which will hold the Mini unit with the standard ball attachment. This Theragun Mini was designed to be portable and actually enables me to do my job much more effectively. YooHoo!
* ACCESORIES – All of the standard accessories offered by Therabody fit the Theragun Mini. It is worth looking into the various options of attachments if you are serious about percussion, muscle pain relief. I am pleased that I did.
* CONS – The only one I have is relatively minor – The provided, soft, travel case does not have the additional room to hold the proprietary charger, or any additional attachments. It only holds the basic Theragun Mini and standard ball. I will pack those items separately in my backpack when I go on the road.
* SUMMARY – I highly recommend this Theragun Mini by Therabody as an inexpensive, but thoroughly effective, portable, percussion, massage device. It is compact, but powerful in delivering soothing, muscle, pain relief. Love It! This makes an excellent gift to any loved one, family member, or friend, who suffers nagging, muscle pain.

Inexpensive Retro FUN – Portable & EZ To Use

Throwback? Maybe NOT! This portable CD player provides a versatile way to listen to some of your most favorite CDs. It comes with a super-basic set of ear plugs. But, it is NOT limited when it comes to more enhanced listening pleasure. I have used a more expensive set of over-the-ear, noise-canceling headphones and am overjoyed at the reproduced quality of music by this player.
My newer vehicle does NOT have a CD player. My guess is that the Techie-Gurus have determined CDs are NO longer a viable, mainstream participant in this Digital, Streaming World of Music. Things change. Or, do they just evolve into more popular venues? I am a Vinyl-Fan and have an extensive collection of over 800 records. My wife has an accumulation of over 500 CDs and she loves listening to them daily on our high-end amp-receiver. But now, this Memorex Portable CD Player allows her to enjoy her CDs anywhere she ventures around our home. WooHoo!
The updated LCD screen allows her to maneuver the various options featured by this Memorex CD Player. An intuitive and simple display shows all the various options provided. Even without the high resolution codecs this CD player does a terrific job when paired with a high-end-over-the-ear headphone. I am impressed by the quality of sound reproduction. I highly recommend the use of more quality listening ear headphones.
We have used this Memorex Portable CD Player in various positions. In my pocket in the upright position and at various levels of horizontal. It is sensitive to bumps and jogs, so we use it in the most passive positions possible. The sixty second anti-skip protection ensures interruption-free audio. For its Price-Point, this is a terrific bargain.
I highly recommend the purchase of this Memorex Portable CD Player. It does an outstanding job of delivering crisp CD quality music. . . .

Carpet Cleaning Formula For Pets & Grand Kids Too

So, after using this Hoover – 64 Oz Paws and Claws Carpet Cleaning Formula on my carpets, What do I think of its cleaning quality? Terrific! I love it so much I bought the Value-Sized, 128 Oz, container to do my whole house. WooHoo!
PROS:
* EXCELLENT CARPET CLEANING – This is why Hoover's Paws & Claws is now my 'Go-To' carpet cleaner for both routine and spot cleaning. My two Toy Bichons Frises and four active Grand Kids make my carpet cleaning a never-ending challenge. I have always used a professional carpet service to clean my carpets, before. However, using my new Hoover SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner with Paws & Claws cleaning formula has convinced me DIY is far superior to the expensive pros. My results have been absolutely amazing. I use this formula also for pre-treating heavily soiled areas, and, those are the frequently travelled areas of the puppies and Grand Kids. Each container of Claws & Paws gives detailed instructions on how to mix this cleaner for both manual and automix machines.
* EZ TO USE – Just following the directions on the container. It is plain and simple. No measuring cups are needed. Just fill the solution tank on the automix units and, or, fill the formula cap to 'Line 3' for each gallon of hot tap water on the manual mix machines. Keep in mind that this cleaning formula is two-times concentrated, and goes a long way. This formula can be sprayed on heavy stains at full-strength for even better results. For pre-treatment allow 10 minutes for the cleaning formula to activate.
* FRESH AROMA – What I really love about this cleaner besides the amazing cleaning results is the cotton-breeze' aroma it leaves behind after deodorizing my puppy mishaps and Grand Kid's spills and outdoor tracking. What is surprising to me is that it neutralizes pet, tell-tale odors. YooHoo!
* OTHER FEATURES – I live on six acres in a rural area of North Florida. We value our Springs and pristine environment. This product is Pet, Grand Kids, and Septic Tank Safe. How cool is that? It also contains 'Stain-Guard' technology, which helps keeps my carpets cleaner longer. Hoover states that Paws & Claws can also be used to clean furniture upholstery, car interiors and carpets, and carpeted stairwells.

Excellent Carpet Cleaning For Pets & Grand Kids

As the industry leader for well over a 100 years Hoover has been designing and producing innovative and quality-built, home vacuum cleaners. So, when I had an opportunity to review the Hoover SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner in exchange for the product I did not hesitate. I have two lovable, pet, Bichons Frises, and six playfully, active Grandchildren. Heaven has truly Blessed me and Grandma. However, our tan colored, deep-piled carpet gets devilishly mistreated by both. The puppies love to go outside on the patio and venture into my garden. Have taught them lotsa' tricks, but wiping off their paws is not one of them that is trainable. Needless to say, our Grand Kids come running from outside at light-speed when Grandma tells them cookies are out of the oven, or, she has a Yummy Snack Plate ready. And, wiping their shoes off before coming inside is just something Grandpa says 'to-do' almost every time, but I am totally ignored. Yikes!
For the last two weeks I have enjoyed using this Hoover SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner to clean the carpeting in my entire house. It has taken me two weeks because I can only clean small sections at a time to keep the puppies and Grand Kids contained because they are so active. What is amazing to me besides the excellent carpet cleaning is that the areas I have shampooed dry so quickly. WooHoo!
What do I love about this Hoover SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner?
* EXCELLENT CARPET & UPHOLSTERY CLEANING – This is, undoubtedly, the main reason to purchase this Hoover SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner. I am so pleased with my results. In the past I have always used an expensive carpet cleaning service with the added expense of moving my furniture and extra charges for pre-cleaning my heavily, soiled areas. This Hoover is far superior to my past carpet cleaning service results, I will never, ever use them again. And, I can take my sweet old time doing area carpet sections without a total disruption of our regular household activities. Hoover folks have hit a home run out of the park with this amazing machine. YooHoo!
* EZ TO OPERATE – I am a senior citizen with arthritis in my hands, and was pleasantly surprised as to how easy this baby is to operate, fill, and empty. This Hoover is so 'Senior-Friendly'. Love It! I do not need to keep a trigger depressed on the handle as it has a 'Left Hand', ON/OFF foot peddle. It glides over my carpet as it washes while I move it forward, and, rinses/dry as I pull it backwards. It takes no more effort then my regular vacuuming. Although though this unit is not self-propelled it glides almost effortlessly thanks to the motion of both FlexForce Pet Power Brushes. There is also a foot peddle of the 'Right Hand' side, which releases the unit from 'Upright' to any angle I feel is comfortable to use while operating this Hoover. The on-board electrical cord is a generous 22 feet long, and has a cord clip on the 'Spot Remover' wand to keep the cord from interfering while I use this machine. It also has two cord hooks to wrap the electrical cord for storage.
* FEATURES – The top handle of this machine is actually a detachable 'Pre-Treat' wand with its own solution reservoir. Hoover has designed this wand for me/you to use its OXY 'Spot Cleaner' for heavy duty stains, and, or 'Paws and Claws' Deep Clean and Neutralizer at full-strength for pre-treatment cleaning. The 'Spot Cleaner' requires 10 minutes of activation time before using the machine. BTW – Hoover includes a 6 oz sample bottle of each along with a 64 oz sized bottle of 'Paws and Claws' Deep Clean & Neutralize. I purchased a separate, Value Sized, 128 oz, of 'Paws and Claws' Deep Clean & Neutralize from my local Walmart to finish my entire house. Pushing forward automatically sets this Hoover in 'Wash' mode, and pulling back sets it in 'Rinse/Dry' mode. On the Left Hand bottom of the unit at the 'Recovery Nozzle' there is an automatic 'Wash/Dry' LED Display. On the Left Hand side of the top unit there is a Auto Dry Button, which delivers powerful extraction and Heatforce™ for faster drying. It continues to suction water from my carpet while enhancing the drying process. Fantastic! This is an outstanding feature. It cuts down the drying time and pulls even more shampoo and rinse water out of my carpet. How cool is that?
TIP: Remove the 'Solution Tank' to further enhance the rinsing process of any cleaning solution residual in 'Dry Only' mode.
An 8 foot hose is included along with a 'Antimicrobial Pet Tool'. This can be used for spot stains on steps, anywhere in my house, and, or, upholstery cleaning too. The 8 foot auxiliary hose connection is just above the 'Recovery Nozzle' on the front of the unit. The cover just flips down to access the hose port. * MAINTENANCE – The 'Dirty-Water' tank is easily removed by pulling up on the release latch. The filter can easily be rinsed and allowed to air dry. A clean filter is vital to the continued suction effectiveness. Cleaning the nozzle is upfront and easy since it is clear to see through any nap or debris build-up. Simply remove the nozzle and rinse, and or, remove carpet nap and debris. The two FlexForce Pet Power Brushes are also very visible through the clear ABS nozzle, and easily removed for cleaning under a strong flow of running water.
* BENEFITS – My house has never been as fresh and so clean-smelling since I cleaned all my carpet with this Hoover SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner. The carpet actually looks like it did when it was installed over 20 years ago. I love this machine because Grandma says I did 'Good'. A Happy Grandma makes for a Happy Grandpa. Our Grand Kids can now stampede from outside through our house to Grandma's cookies because if there is a carpet soiling problem Hoover has made it just a minor issue with Spot Cleaning.
In summary I highly recommend this outstanding Hoover SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner. Coupled with the 2X carpet cleaning, concentrated formula of Hoover's Paws & Deep Clean & Neutralizer, this machine does an excellent job of cleaning pet and Grand Kids carpet stains and 'accidents'. You certainly can buy a much more expensive carpet cleaner, but can you match the excellent cleaning results and ease of operation Hoover has designed for deep cleaning, pets and Grand Kids mishaps?

Love Your Music? - You Will Love these Headphones

My first impression of these B&O H9 Headphones was how accurately these ear phones fit over my ears. They were super-comfortable and luxuriously plush. The soft lambskin shrouding the memory foam cushions fit my ears like no other headphones ever did. I have large ears and one is slightly larger than the other. These head phones accommodated my needs perfectly. It takes a little trial and error and adjustment to get it right. I was patient and adjusted them to my ear sizes accordingly. The passive noise cancellation is very dependent on the correct fit over the ears, as is the Active Noise Cancellation. When these B&O Headphones are fitted correctly on my ears they are absolutely amazing. Relaxing comfort for long listening hours and these headphones allow me superb listening pleasure playing all kinds of music genres.
My first experience with B&O audio was with an All In One, HP computer system in 2017. When I was presented with an opportunity to do a comprehensive and honest review of the B&O Headphones in exchange for an H9 set I jumped at the chance. I consider myself an audiophile dating back to the early Sixties. I was fascinated with High Fidelity sound reproduction and built many stereo record players for my family and friends. It was easy to build a quality stereo player as long as I used the best amplification and speakers money could buy. And, at that time I started collecting record albums, and now have over 800, LP, albums. On average I spend a couple of hours a day listening to my LP collection now that I am retired. I love listening to all genres of music. These B&O H9 Headphones provide me with exquisite audio excellence.
So, here is why I think you should buy this costly and superior set of headphones:
** BLUETOOTH SOUND QUALITY- The B&O Headphones are the best 4.2 interface, Bluetooth headphones I have ever listened too. I was immediately impressed with the sharp, clear, projected, audio clarity of the background, nuance sounds like distant street traffic, far away thunder, or the faint chatter of folks at the back of a cafe or restaurant. They feature the AptX LL, cVc, AAC, and SBC codecs. These codecs are capable of delivering near CD quality sound from your portable device to the B&O Headphones as long as your portable device has one of these codecs, especially AptX. The headphones and source device have to speak the same language. Check your Smart Phone for codec compatibility. Codecs have to be built-in to your device. There is no way to upgrade through software. My Smart Phone has the AptX, AAC, LDAC, and SBC codecs. My lap top computer has the AptX LL codec, which is optimized for video streaming and gaming. The sound is phenomenal and is great for video/sound synchronization. There is no lag in sounds from the screen video action while gaming. The AAC codec is primarily used by most Apple devices. It is an upgrade in sound quality from the standard SBC codec. It is now supported by Android devices starting with Oreo (8.0). So, both Apple and Android codecs are supported by these B&O Headphones. WooHoo! The cVc Qualcomm® codec is noise cancellation technology designed to reduce ambient sound to the listener while improving the voice of a phone caller over BT. The B&O H9 features frequency from 20Hz to 22,000Hz, the limits of our human hearing range. The sound is mainly focused towards the mid ranges, and there is a clarity to the highs and instrumentals that gives quality depth to all the ranges. The bass is a much more enhanced bass then most Bluetooth units I have listened too. Featuring mellow, low pitches, and an expansive wide range. I can easily hear the low Saxophone cords and the kick-drum beats.
** WIRED SOUND QUALITY - I have a high end amplifier/receiver connected to my CD/DVD player, Smart TV, and high end Record Player. Using the 3.5 mm jack on the headphones with my own extended cable (6 foot or 1.83m) I connect the B&O Headphones to my amp while relaxing in my easy-chair. My wired connection provides me with sheer musical pleasure and takes me to another world. I love playing selections from my extensive LP record collection. As an audiophile I can tell you that the reproduced analog sound from an LP is much more dynamic then any digital CD/DVD. Analog sound waves on LPs are not limited as digital CDs are. LP analog sound waves are accurate and broader in fullness and depth then CD/DVDs. My amp has 18 EQ settings, which I set for each individual music genre. I absolutely love these B&O Headphones wired into my amp/receiver. The B&O 40 mm diameter headphone speakers do an outstanding job of delivering crisp, reverberant, and studio-quality sounds over a full range of my EQ frequency settings. Love it!

** DEIGN & CONSTRUCTION – Luxurious comfort sums it all up. The matte black stainless steel headband features a durable, cow-hide leather covering on the outside and flexible padding inserts, on the inside. Each headphone is cupped with soft lambskin, which covers memory foam, and acts as a 'sound-gasket' covering my ears. This plush ear cup design and fit assists the Passive and Active Noise Cancellation. How cool is that? The headband expands/contracts to fit correctly on any size head and it only weighs approximately 10 ounces in BT use. The headphones are clearly marked “R” and “L”. They rotate inward and 90 degrees backwards for folding away. They also hinged so that the top of the ear cuffs pivots slightly in and outwardly for proper ear cuff adjustment necessary for ANC. Taken as a whole, this B&O H9 Headphone Set runs the gamut of ear cup adjustments required for great music listening enjoyment with quality ANC.
** CONTROLS – All of the Touch Controls are on the 'sensitive' aluminum surface of “R” ear cup. I was surprised at how easy the learning curve was. After the first day of using these fantastic headphones I had mastered the Volume increase/decrease by rotating my finger clockwise (UP) and counterclockwise (DOWN) respectively. Tapping the middle of the disk will play/pause the music. Take Phone Call by a tap to answer call., and, double tap to end call. Use the touchpad to control ANC in wireless or cabled mode. ANC is “ON” when the headphones are turned on and the indicator light turns white. Swipe from top to bottom to turn off ANC. Swipe again from top to bottom to turn on ANC. Use the touchpad to control Transparency in wireless or cabled mode. Transparency is OFF when the headphones are turned on. Swipe from bottom to top to turn on Transparency Mode and the indicator light will turn orange. Swipe again from bottom to top to turn off Transparency Mode. There is a slide switch for “ON', “OFF”, and BT pairing. Of course, the 3.5mm RCA port, and a charging port, USB-A to USB-C cable (1.25 m).
** B&O APP – The Beoplay App, which is available for FREE to download from Apple App Store or Google Play Store is pretty comprehensive. The main feature of this app is the Tone Touch adjustment. It acts like an equalizer of sorts, but not according to EQ sound frequencies. Instead the Tone Touch allows you to adjust your music to your activity and, or, moods: Warm, Bright, Excited, or Relaxed. I love the Warm for most of my BT listening pleasure. You can adjust anywhere in between these various moods and expand the tonality (expand the width) as you wish. It really is quite cool and fascinating. It has a Tone Touch Guide, which will walk you through the options. This app also allows you to increase or decrease the volume; stream to other B&O speakers; and provides detailed product information and support. Recently downloaded a newer updated version of this App, version 3.0. Note - that you can use your Google Assistant or Siri for phone calls.
** BATTERY – When the indicator light turns red the battery power is below 10%. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator turns constant green. The headphones can be used while charging. Battery is a Non-Replaceable Lithium-Ion Battery. Up to 25 hours with Bluetooth and ANC (ON). Up to 32 hours with just Bluetooth. Up to 33 hours wired with ANC (ON). Charging time: is approximately 3 hours from when the indicator light turns red. B&O recommends charging the headphones every day for maximum battery life.
** WARRANTY & CARE – The B&O H9 Headphones feature a 2-year warranty on both parts and labor. Clean when needed using a, soft cloth moistened with warm water only.
** CONS – B&O does not have the Higher Resolution codecs like AptX HD or Sony's LDAC. The Fabric pouch with drawstring is adequate, but, a Hard Case for travel would have been more appropriate for this price range.
** SUMMARY – Without question these are the finest over-the-ear headphones I have ever used. The sound quality is excellent. I highly recommend them as a 'gift' to yourself, special someone, family member or friend. If you Love your Music, you will Love these B&O H9 Headphones.

Fantastic Mobile Device Printing - High Demand Use

HP has established the future of all All-In-One Printers for Home, Family, and High Demand uses. I was thrilled for the opportunity to select this HP Smart Tank Plus 551 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer in exchange for an honest review. I have an existing home-office laser jet printer, which does a creditable job for pumping out the numerous documents I create for my monthly construction reports. However, it is NOT able to print out any colored kinds of documents or pics to the chagrin of my wife and Grand Kids. So when I found out this HP Smart Tank Plus 551 can deliver up to two years of ink to include up to 8,000 color pages or up to 6,000 black pages I did a 'Happy Dance'. This printer is a super 'upgrade' from my monochrome printer and provides me with low-cost, increased volume printing. WooHoo!
After using this Smart Tank Plus 55 for over three weeks these are the features, I think, are significant:
* Print Quality – This is notably the most important reason to choose a printer in the first place. The HP Smart Tank Plus 551 excels at producing sharp, richly-detailed, and clear documents. I printed out several color photos (see pics) from my smart phone and laptop and they were awesome. The added surprise was the outstanding color rendering while using just plain copy paper. WoW! This printer uses the standard types of copy paper, photo papers, card stocks, and envelopes. This HP printer works with letter, legal, 3 x 5 in, 4 x 6 in, 5 x 7 in, 8 x 10 in, and no. 10 envelopes. The stand-up paper feeder holds up to 100 sheets of copy paper. HP states that I can get up to 8,000 color pages or 6,000 black pages with the ink bottles included in the box. YooHoo!
* Set-Up – HP includes a 'Start Here' set of illustrated instructions, which includes easy-to-read and follow set-up illustrations and drawings. HP also provides a super-helpful link to a set-up video, which I would highly recommend anyone installing this printer to view. The hardware set-up was a little challenging for me when it came to installing the 'printheads' because I have large hands. I had to reach inside the printer housing, which is approximately 4 inches high, to remove the protective shipping pieces and install the two separate printheads. It is very important to follow the instructions to the letter in this step. It is essential NOT to touch the electronic contact strip after removing the protective tape, or the ink nozzles while installing both printheads. For me this was the most difficult and tedious step. Once the ink wells are filled and the printheads are installed correctly the hardware set-up is complete.
* HP Smart App – This App is available for FREE at the Google Play or Apple App Stores. It is designed for mobile devices like my smart phone, tablet, or laptop. It will not download to a desktop computer. This App essentially controls the many features of this HP Smart Tank Plus 551. It also guided me through the software set-up of this printer. An HP account is necessary, but one can be created during the software set-up procedures. To print any document or photo file this App has to be installed on the mobile device being used. I am on the road frequently so I downloaded the HP Smart App on my phone and laptop. I can send files to this printer from any location I am at. How cool is that? Additionally, there are on-board buttons to turn the printer ON or OFF, manually print Color or Black only copies, Wireless ON or OFF button, Information button, and a Control Panel Display, which gives the status of the various printer functions. The HP Smart App walked me through the Wi-Fi connection to my home's router. It is dual band (802.11b/g/n) and supports either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz radio frequencies. The HP Smart App has many features, which allows me to print any document or photo from any of my files, or, even from my social websites. I can copy a document, resize it, lighten or darken, enhance, and specify the paper size. It shows me the status of my ink reservoir levels. It allows me to scan pics and documents from my phone's camera, or any files or photos I have scanned to print out. I can go to 'Help & Support' for information and re-order ink supplies when I need to.
* Small Footprint – The dimensions are 17.6 x 14.7 x 6.2 inches. It takes up less space on my desk then my old monochrome laserjet. It weighs under eleven and a half pounds. It does require approximately 12 inches or more of space in front of the printer so the printed material can exit the printer properly.
* Other Features – This HP Plus 551 Ink Jet Printer is ENERGY STAR® qualified with HP Auto-Off Technology. It is quiet compared to my older monochrome laserjet. Faxing documents for FREE setting up the Mobile Fax tile to my HP Smart App. I do NOT need a land line. Yipee! Two-sided printing is available. However, I must remove all the sheets printed on one side and re-insert them into the paper feeder by hand to print on both sides. Smart Tasks, which are basically shortcuts to repeated tasks and customizable and easy to create. Wi-Fi Direct, which is a great way to keep this printer off of my home network and make it only available to my device, yet allow me internet connection.
* Summary – I now use this printer as my home-office printer and for the rest of the family to enjoy also. Since it holds a two-year supply of ink,and the refills are cost-effective, this is my favorite 'Go-To' printer. I love the fact that everyone in my family can download the HP Smart App on their mobile device. This is what drives all our printing chores now. The printing quality is outstanding. The photo printing is impressive because the colors are dynamic and crisp. I highly recommend this HP Smart Tank Plus 551 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer. I'd give it six stars if I could. It is not an inexpensive piece of hardware, but because of its high volume capabilities, and lower costs per printed page – It is a bargain for the quality it delivers.

'Must-Have' Kitchen Countertop Blender

Was so used to my old blender with its pre-prorgammed push button controls and limited functions, I hardly ever used it. So, I was curious in selecting this KitchenAid K400 5 Speed Blender in exchange for an honest review. After three weeks of almost daily use this blender is an outstanding upgrade from my old blender. I never knew just what I could actually do with a blender until I had the opportunity to use and enjoy this baby. It is amazing. WooHoo!
As I removed this blender from its box I was immediately impressed by its build and design. First of all it has a 'commercial' look and feel to it. The whole unit weighs approximately twelve pounds. The majority of that weight (11.2 pounds) is the base unit.
* Base Unit – My unit is in Contour Silver. What I liked about this color is that it doesn't show any fingerprints. The rich silver color looks classy on my countertop too. I keep it on my countertop on a rollout caddy. When not in use I roll it back underneath my cabinets. On the bottom of the base unit is a raised, ridge gasket, approximately ¼ inch high surrounding the entire bottom of the base. Let me tell you that when I first loaded this pitcher with ice cubes to make crushed ice – this unit did not move a smidgen, walk, or, rock 'n roll like my old blender used to do. YooHoo! This is a solidly-built base for any blending applications. This K400 1.5 HP blender motor is rated at 1200 watts at 120V AC, 10 amps, and, will plug into any standard kitchen, 3-prong, grounding receptacle. The attached cord is 36 inches in length. What I think is super-unique is the Soft Start® Feature, which starts the motor at a slower speed. This slower speed of the blades pulls the food down into the whirling blades, then, immediately increases the motor speed to what I selected for my blending task. This K400 is powerful, and, has accomplished all the blending tasks I put it through. My Grand Kids love Iceys and Smoothies, so believe me this blender gets a workout.
* Blender Dial & Controls - To the RIGHT of the dial there is a Start/Stop Button illuminated by an LED ring when the unit is turned ON. After 10 minutes of no activity the illuminated LED ring will turn OFF. The blender goes into a 'Sleep-Mode'. Touching the Start/Stop Button again turns the unit back ON. There are 11 set points on the rotary dial. It is designed to move from Left to Right. The first setting is 'P' for pulse blending. The dial is spring-loaded for Pulse. I have to keep my hand on the dial at 'P' for whatever time duration I choose. This allows me to manually control the blenders vortex blades to visually see when I want to stop the blending process. As soon as I remove my hand the dial automatically returns to the next setting 'O'. The next settings go to the RIGHT from '1 to 5'. These variable speed blending cycles time out at three minutes. It takes practice using these various speeds to find the ones appropriate for the items being blended. I have yet to go over number '3' for my blending tasks. Of course, I can stop the blender at any time If I so choose. After variable speed '5' turning the dial further to the RIGHT are the three pre-programmed recipe Icons, Ice Crush, Icy Drink, and Smoothie. Ice Crush is a 30 second cycle; Icy Drink is also 30 seconds; and Smoothie times out at 45 seconds. The last (11th dial setting) is Self Clean. Self Clean has a 13 second cycle, and is does the job thoroughly (see pics).
* Blender Jar or Pitcher - The blender pitcher is made of a poly carbonate, BPA Free, plastic. It is lightweight and shatter resistant compared to glass. It has a capacity of 56 oz. On either side of the pitcher handle there are graduated marks indicating ounces on one side and milliliters on the other. The plastic pitcher handle has a rubberized hand grip for more convenient handling. The rubberized grip is also removable for cleaning if needed. Directly opposite the pitcher handle is the pour spout, which is sealed when the pitcher lid is placed on top. The plastic pitcher lid is gasketed so it seals when firmly placed in the pitcher top. In the center of the gasketed lid is a round removable cap for adding ingredients, or tamping contents down through this opening (Tamper is not furnished). The cap can be opened by turning it to the Left to unlock it, and to the Right to lock it. The pitcher has a groove in the front, which matches the base for correct seating into the base. The pitcher also has four distinct ribs on either side, which allows the blades to create a powerful vortex blending any tough ingredients I place in the pitcher to be blended. At the bottom of the pitcher are the four stainless steel blades, which have four different angles to power through the harder ingredients. Although I have only used the Self-Clean function of this blender the pitcher and cap can go into the dishwasher – top rack only.

* User-Friendly Blender – There is a simple learning curve operating this blender. It is very intuitive. I felt very comfortable using it after the first few times. I kept my included Instructional Manual close, but didn't need to look anything up after the first week.
* Summary – The KitchenAid K400 5 Speed Blender can do so much more then my old blender. I keep it on my countertop because we use it so much. Besides Iceys and Smoothies this blender makes great, fresh, vegetable soups for my wife and I (see pics). We love fresh veggies and this blender helps us to eat more healthier foods. It makes sumptuous salsa blends, dips, and sauces. I highly recommend this K400. It makes a great upgrade from an older model blender, wedding gift, anniversary, birthday, or just to a special family member or friend. Buy one, you won't be disappointed. For me it is a 'Must-Have' kitchen countertop blender.

The Quiet Mouse That Didn't Need To Roar

This Logitech Pebble M350 Bluetooth Optical Mouse was a fun product to review in exchange for the actual product. Its unique design took me by surprise. I was immediately impressed how comfortably it fit into my hand. All the other mice I have ever used were much more elevated at the back and sloped deeply downwards towards the wheel and front. The Logitech Pebble is just slightly elevated at the back and gently sloped downwards toward the wheel and front. Placing my old mouse and the Pebble side by side, and using them for the same functions was very telling. Because of the more ergonomic fit the Pebble allowed me to move freely in unrestricted motion from the left or right, likewise from front to backwards.
My main motivation for using a mouse over my laptop's trackpad was for freedom of movement and control. The majority of my computer activity is creating status and report documents and data entry into my specialized spreadsheets. A mouse over my trackpad has proven to be much more comfortable, accurate and efficient for me to use in my work. So, using the Logitech Pebble for the last three weeks has presented these advantages over my standard-styled mouse:
* Design & Build – The Pebble is basically made of a rugged plastic material. I have dropped my Pebble several times and it suffered no damage. The top shell and bottom pieces are held together in place by tiny magnets. Both the AA battery and USB dongle are on-board in the bottom shell piece. The 'clicks' and scrolling are amazingly quiet as they can be. All the surface edges of the Pebble are gently rounded for use and appearance. I especially like the depressed scrolling wheel, which is housed in a depressed circle for accurate and speedy actions. It is user-friendly and makes it more comfortable to use my index finger for scrolling over longer periods of time.
* Relaxed Fit – I have a large hand and the ergonomic build of the Pebble does not stress my hand even after hours of use. It is slimmer then my other mice, and allows my hand the agility to move about on any work surface I am using at the time.
* Responsive & Time Saving – Because of its unique Pebble design I don't waste a lot of valuable time moving the mouse around to get the cursor exactly where I want to. The Pebble allows me to be so nimble I can move this mouse anywhere I need to with accurate tracking and pinpoint, optical quality. Point, click, and drag is accelerated using the Pebble. WooHoo!
* Lightweight & Portable – The Pebble only weighs approximately 3.5 oz and even with the on-board AA battery it is effortless to move. Because of its natural fit there was no learning curve for my hand to get accustomed too. Although I am predominately right-handed, the Pebble also allows me to casually use my left hand when needed. It is only one inch high and conveniently slips into any space I can put my laptop into. Because of its thin profile I can even put the Pebble in my pocket with ease. YooHoo!
* Long Battery Life – The Pebble uses a AA battery, which the manufacturer claims can last up to 18 months (depending on usage). There is an ON and OFF switch on the bottom of the mouse, which I turn OFF when traveling. However, a battery-saving feature is that this Pebble goes to 'sleep' when not in use. How cool is that?
* Connection Options – The Pebble M350 is directly connected to my laptop through 2.4 GHz Bluetooth. I could also use the included, on-board, USB Dongle. I used the BT connection, because it frees up my laptop USB ports for an additional storage device and portable printer when I am on the road.
* Set-Up - For Bluetooth connection this Pebble is quick and simple to set up. By depressing the BT button on the bottom of the mouse pairing was instant to my laptop. Did not use the USB dongle, but expect it is just as expedient. Yes the Pebble can be adjusted for personal preferences in your 'settings'.
I honestly believe Logitech has hit upon the design of all future mice. Great fit, accurate, and fast. I highly recommend this Logitech M350 Pebble. It is inexpensive and is eye-opening how a slim and sleek BT mouse can make a difference in my/your everyday computer use.

Pixelbook Go – Productivity, Entertainment, & FUN

Wasn't really sure of what to expect choosing this Google Pixelbook Go 13.3" Touch-Screen Chromebook in exchange for an honest review. In the past Chrome OS has not been stellar, but now it turns out to be a great alternative to both Windows and Apple OS. So, after three weeks of constant use It appears to me that the Google Chrome Platform doesn't need the latest, greatest, most powerful Intel Chip, immense memory, or a huge hard drive to operate fast. It does quite well with the 8th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 processor coupled with 8 GB Ram of memory and 128GB SSD. Amazing speed! What also makes this Pixelbook Go so versatile is that I can download numerous Android Apps and software from the Google Play Store like MS Word and Excel. WooHoo! In addition to Google Docs and Presentations this makes this laptop ideal for any kind of productivity for a home office, student, or any professional 'on-the-go'.
Here is what I love about this Pixelbook Go:
*** DESIGN & BUILD – The lightweight magnesium shell is cleverly designed with a matte black finish, ribbed bottom with two rubberized strips to keep this attractive unit from slipping on any hard surfaces.
* I love that it is pretty much fingerprint resistant and classy looking too. This sleek unit weighs approximately 2.3 pounds.
* It is designed to be super-portable, and as a laptop only. The ribbed bottom makes it easy to grip and carry anywhere.

* The dual stereo speakers deliver unbelievable sound quality for a medium-sized unit, and can be enhanced by an EQ App downloaded from the Play Store for even richer performance.
* The 2MP, 1080p front duo cams allow for dynamic videoconferencing in Google Hangouts. Impressive!
* There are two USB-C ports and one 3.5mm headphone jack or auxiliary audio output. Either USB-C port can charge this unit using the included 6.5 foot charging cable with the 45W USB-C wall power adapter featuring fold in/out prongs. I discovered that there is a USB-C to SD card adapter, which allows me to use a 128GB SD card as additional storage. I can also use the second USB-C port to connect an additional screen display.

*** CHROME OS – Chrome features thousands of Android apps for productivity and entertainment. I downloaded MS Word and Excel from the Play Store so that I could use this laptop on the road for my part-time, consulting job. I am also impressed with Google Docs and Presentations.
* Set-Up was very simple. All I needed was my Wi-Fi connection to my home router and my Google account as outlined in the included Quick Start Guide. The Pixelbook turns ON as I opened the unit. The on-screen instructions guided me through the whole set-up. It took approximately five minutes and I was ready to GO.
* What I really appreciate is that Chrome features its own virus protection with automatic updates to includes updating the Chrome OS too. These updates operate in the background and do not require any user interface. This saves me money from buying additional third-party virus protection. Great!
* The Chrome OS also provides cloud backups. I found that the more I use this OS the more I wonder if I ever really needed Windows. Chrome is a simple OS to learn, and very User-Friendly. Chrome OS is not bloated with unneeded add-ons and features like Windows, which require higher processing speeds, gobs of RAM memory, and a huge hard drive.
* I am amazed at how fast this Pixelbook Go actually is. It automatically turns ON when I open it and goes directly to my designated Home Page in just a few seconds. I primarily use this Pixelbook Go for creating construction-related documents, e-mail, and streaming Netflix movies for entertainment. It performs all my activities with quick speed, which was an unexpected surprise and plus. YaHoo!
* I can also connect my Android phone to my Pixelbook for 'Smart Lock' and message notifications. My Android phone can lock and unlock my Pixelbook if I so choose and allow me to both send and receive messages on my Pixelbook.
* I can also sync with my Android phone to connect my Pixelbook to the Internet using my phone's mobile data (tethering). This comes in handy when there is no WI-FI connection and I need to have an Internet connection to my Pixelbook.

*** SUMMARY – After three weeks of everyday use I am totally impressed with this Pixelbook Go. I highly recommend this Pixelbook Go as an efficient alternative to Windows and Mac. It allows me to be productive in creating both Word and Google Documents, and, is fantastic for streaming movies. Just the right size for people on-the-go. For its size processor it is one speedy machine with a simple Chrome OS for everyday computer activities. If you are considering serious gaming, photo, and, or, graphics editing, this machine may not fit your needs. However, I think it is an excellent choice for a student, and, plan on buying one for my Grandson, who is going to be in his first year of college this Spring. It's productivity Apps and Portability make this a great choice for him. If you buy one you won't be disappointed.

BEST Laptop For Trips – Mobile Office On-The-Road

As a 'retired' consultant, my jobs require lots of out of town road-trips. And, I always took my laptop/tablet to organize my field notes, on-the-job, and prepare job-reports later in my motel room. My previous, 3 In 1, laptop/tablet (national brand) had two separate small hinges on either side of the screen base attached to the keyboard. The left hinge failed shortly after the warranty expired. I was surprised that the repair cost to replace one hinge was in excess of six hundred dollars, half of the cost of my year old, laptop/tablet. Yikes! It was still sort of usable, but would never stand-up, or close properly. I used an ordinary 'chip-clip' to keep it together, but was an 'unhappy-camper' after spending over a thousand dollars for it. So, when I had an opportunity to receive this Dell laptop in exchange for an honest review I was super excited. This Dell Inspiron 15.6" 7000 2-in-1 4K UHD Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB - GeForce MX250 - 512GB SSD + 32GB Optane, which has a substantial, solid, one piece hinge, is exactly what I needed. This feature-packed, power house laptop is now my portable office on the road. WooHoo!
Taking it out of the box I was immediately impressed with its anodized aluminum build and finishes. The frame of this Dell housing around the Touch Screen is solidly built. It makes me believe that it will hold up easily in any mode I choose to put the unit in, over and over again. And, of course the rugged, one piece hinge is why I think this unit will last me a long time on the road. The screen will orientate itself in 'tent', 'tablet', 'movie', and of course, laptop mode. On the road I use 'tablet', 'tent', and 'laptop' mode the most. The 4K screen resolution is fantastic, with true-to-life details (important to me), and, brilliant colors. It is lightweight, weighs under five pounds, and I can easily carry it, or, pack it in my backpack for trips.
Why do I love this Dell Inspiron Convertible 2-in-1 Laptop?
** Powerful Computing Process - This Intel 10th, Generation, Quad Core Processor, Model Number i7-10510U, operates at a base frequency of 1.80 GHz, supports Intel Optane Memory H10, 32GB, which allows for faster data transfer between the memory, storage, and the processor. I enjoy short boot times and fast applications set up. It remembers the programs that I use the most and opens them with amazing speed. The NVIDIA® GeForce® MX250 with 2GB GDDR5 graphics memory card enhances high-quality images for videos and photo editing, which is also important on my job. The 16GB of RAM allows me to multitask easily from my job notes, field schematics, and reports using the included digital pen. ** Dell Active Pen - Fantastic tool for my consulting work. I can sketch prominent issues, concerns, and write annotations on my job notes, reports, and photos (see pics). I can simply take photos from my smart phone and download to this Dell Laptop by Bluetooth and make field notations on the pics..Outstanding! The pen also fits magnetically into the well designed into the Dell hinge. The Pen is powered by one 4-A battery. The Pen has numerous features and settings that I have really enjoyed exploring. It turns this powerful laptop into an invaluable, Job Accessory for me. This tool makes me so much more effective as I can now make field notations on existing drawings, illustrate problems, the need for more information, and correct my field notes and reports (see pics). YaHoo!
** Keyboard – This Dell Inspiron features a super-useful, backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad. Love the addition of the numeric keypad for work on my spreadsheets. It also features an indiscreet ON switch, which is also a finger print reader for the ultimate in security. How cool is that? Please be aware that this Dell laptop will power OFF when it is closed, and, power back ON when opened.
** Two In One Design – The 360° flip-and-fold design of this Dell, effectually makes this unit into a Four In One,'Tent', Tablet', 'Stand-Up', and, or, 'Laptop'. Its strong, wide hinge makes this possible for years to come. I can easily switch into 'tablet' mode, which is 'touch-screen' friendly from any mode.
** Ports & Jacks – This Dell laptop has two USB 3.1 ports on the Right Side of the unit along with a 3.5mm headphone or auxiliary audio, microphone jack, or audio output jack to external speakers. On the Left Side of the unit is the power/charge port, HDMI 2.0 output jack, a Type 'C' DP/Power Delivery jack, which is a Thunderbolt Port for quicker for data transfer rates and storage, and a Micro SD Card Reader
** Other Spectacular Features – It has a webcam at the very top and center of the screen. What I noticed using the webcam for a Skype Call is that it worked exceptionally well in low-light conditions, and the sound was clear on the other end. It also features the latest Wi-Fi 6, which very few routers are capable of accommodating, now. However, it actually 'future-proofs' this Dell laptop as many newer devices and routers eventually will be equipped for Wi-Fi 6. It is also has Bluetooth along with the latest MS Windows 10. This Dell has a 30-day, Free Trial offer for Microsoft Office. This Dell includes a 90 Watt Brick Power Adapter, which provides a faster charge to approximately 80% in just one hour of charging. Four cell, Lithium-ion battery, which lasts me approximately four hours. Battery longevity depends on individual uses, of course. IMHO - I would prefer a 6 cell battery and 2K screen for much longer battery usage since the 4K uses much of the battery's power. This Dell is energy-star certified and has a one year warranty. Audio is pretty good for this small unit, but I use auxiliary BT speakers to enhance the sound quality.
In summary I highly recommend this Dell Inspiration 15.6" 7000 2-in-1 4K UHD Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB - GeForce MX250 - 512GB SSD + 32GB Optane. The Dell folks claim the base and lid of this unit has been tested for tens of thousands of openings and closings. It is ruggedly built and, I believe them (one of my major concerns). This Dell laptop is amazingly fast and versatile for me to use on the road. I love the Dell Pen, and, what it allows me to do. If you do any word processing, editing, free-hand sketches or drawings, this Pen is an invaluable tool. This laptop with its superior computing power, feature-packed technology, and versatility is worth every penny. . . .

The interior oven measures approximately 10" x 13" x 14", which is approximately, slightly larger then one cubic foot. Ninja folks say you can cook a 12 pound bird in the oven. I don't think weight has that much to do with it. I cooked a five pound Pot Roast and it was dwarfed in this oven (see pic). Probably could of cooked 15 pounds of Pot Roast. Based on my experiences. . . .You can easily cook 10 or more pounds of Turkey Breast in this oven (as long as it is contained in a 12" x 12" x 12'' area. . . .Hope this helps.

I easily get 12 hours of battery life over two days of use. I think I could get at least several more hours if I didn't stream movies for entertainment at night in my motel room when I am out of town. This baby is powerful and fast. My guess is that if you just do word documents and e-mail you will come close to 17 hours of battery life.. . .

This Pixelbook does utilize the voice commands of the Google Assistant also. There are thousands of Apps at the Play Store, and in my opinion, this Chrome OS rivals Windows and Mac for productivity. Chrome OS is a simple easy to learn system. It is NOT bloated like Windows or Mac so a high end processor, RAM memory, or huge hard drive is not needed. Cloud backups is available. I have the Bose QC 35 Headphones and just received the Jabra Elite 85h Headphones for review. In my opinion the Jabra 85h has the superior Noise Cancelling tech. Jabra uses AI (artificial Intelligence) in its Active Noise Cancelling profiles. It basically analyzes the noise backgrounds you are currently in, and changes your ANC to match your audio environment.
I was out at my pool listening to Pandora when my neighbor started to trim his hedges. My Jabra headphones changed my listening environment within ten seconds so I did NOT hear his noisy clippers. I love this tech. Additionally, the Bose QC 35 should not be in an outside environment, especially a moist one (I live in North Florida - Hot & Humid). Jabra 85h is rainproof and dustproof, and I have no problem taking these headphones outside. In my opinion the Jabra Sound App offers more features and settings then Bose. However, Bose has the superior sound over BT. When I connected a 3.5mm jack from my amp-receiver to each headphone set I could not tell any noticeable difference. Both headphones were able to be manipulated by my amp's EQ and responded accordingly. Bose has the better (HRAs) High Resolution Audio codecs to transmit CD quality music over BT. But, Bose is a lot more expensive too. For the price point, in my opinion, Jabra Elite 85h is less expensive, and features better AI and ANC technology. Both are outstanding over-the-ear earphones. Both headphones were able to be manipulated by my amp's EQ and responded accordingly. Bose has the better (HRAs) High Resolution Audio codecs to transmit CD quality music over BT. But, Bose is a lot more expensive too. For the price point, in my opinion, Jabra Elite 85h is less expensive, and features better AI and ANC technology. Both are outstanding over-the-ear earphones. I went to the main Defender website and they listed the Model #W2KCB1 as compatible cameras for the expansion of my existing system.
