Bella Small Size May Fool You - Generous Capacity

The Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer is disguised as compact air fryer. However, after using it for three weeks I discovered this versatile air fryer is an efficient counter top appliance, which enables healthier cooking for Grandma and me. I can Air Fry, Broil, Bake, Roast, and Reheat with little or no oil. And, the best part is that healthier air fried foods are just as tasty and delicious as if they were deep-fat fried. How cool is that?
This Bella Pro Series air Fryer is a cut above the rest of the Bella Houseware Kitchen products and is designed for higher performance. It is made of mostly plastic with a non-stick coated steel frying basket and crisping tray. The frying basket has a 'cool-touch' handle, and the body of the whole unit is finished in finger print resistant, matte black. It blends in with all of my Kitchen appliances and the bottom of this unit has four rubberized non-skid feet to keep it stable. It is lightweight enough to be portable and I often move it about on different places as needed. My counter tops are heat resistant. The manufacturer suggests placing this air fryer on heat-resistant work spaces in order to avoid counter top damage. This unit pulls in air to circulate over the 1200 watt heating element in a circular vent at the top of the unit. Heat is exhausted out of the back of this unit so the manufacturer suggest to keep a four inch clearance from walls or other objects during operation. When removing the frying basket it is important to place it on a heat-resistant surface, or trivet because it will be hot.
Advantages of this Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer:
* Healthier cooking using little or NO oils whatsoever. Air Frying is the new approach to reduce cholesterol and polyunsaturated fatty acids in cooking oils. Again, I am amazed at how tasty air frying is and good for my health too. YooHoo!
* Quickly cooks vegetables, meats, fish, and poultry without preheating. Holds up to to two quarts of volume. Enough French Fries to serve my four Grand Kids when they visit and want a snack. WoW!
* High performance circular heat technology. Distributes heated air flow for faster cooking. It cooks the foods more evenly and makes them crispier too. YUMMY!
* Responsive and easy to learn Touchscreen Controls. Preset functions with preset temperatures and times. However, the time and temperature can easily be changed manually at any time during the cooking process. By using the marked Up & Down Time and Temperature arrows both Time & Temperature can be decreased, and, or Increased. This is important when cooking foods, then pausing to shake, and or, turn the food items half way through the cooking process. I can easily tell when I need to add or increase the temperature or time.
* Safety features include the pausing of the preset cooking choices when the frying basket is pulled out of the air fryer. The cooking process will resume immediately when the fryer basket is installed back into the main body. The unit will Not cook if the fryer basket is NOT installed. The unit can be turned OFF by pressing the Power Button for two seconds. After 60 minutes this unit will automatically turn OFF and sound an audible tone.
* Care and Maintenance is NOT complicated. The frying basket and crisping tray are easily cleaned in my Kitchen sink with soapy water, and. by hand as I prefer. They can also be put in the Dishwasher, but I think they last longer if cleaned by hand. The main body of this Bella air fryer can easily be cleaned with a damp dish cloth.
* Be aware there is a learning curve to the process of air frying. Pausing the cooking process half way through the presets is very important. I can easily determine if I need to continue with the same preset Times and Temperature, or, if either one needs to be changed. The Bella Touchscreen makes this a simple adjustment.
* Tips – Placing a piece of aluminum foil under the crisping tray makes clean-up much easier, especially when air frying, roasting,or broiling fatty meats. Make sure the 'shiny' side is facing up. It reflects heat much better under the crisping tray. Try re-heating foods in this Bella instead of your microwave. This Bella reheats foods more evenly and thoroughly. Love It!
* This Bella Air Fryer is quite an energy saver compared to my conventional six cubic foot oven. The Bella only uses 1.2 KW, while my conventional oven uses upwards to 4 KW and takes much longer to preheat and cook. The Bella is fantastic in comparison.
I highly recommend this Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer. Me and Grandma are amazed how quickly this unit prepares our foods in less time then it takes to preheat my conventional oven. We were very skeptical at first because healthier foods aren't supposed to taste this good, or are they? Buy a Bella Air Fryer and find our for yourself . This unit is ideal for a couple, or family of four with two small children. This Bella is inexpensive, and may actually pay for itself over time compared to using your conventional oven. Makes a great wedding, housewarming, or just a special gift to that particular person or family member on your list.

Ninja Foodi 10 In 1 XL Is The Future Of All Ovens

The manufacturers of conventional ovens better take notice. Large, countertop, multi-functional ovens, like the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Oven, featuring healthier cooking technology, are here to stay. I have a high end Frigidaire Gallery Series Range I purchased from Best Buy several years ago. It is a free-standing convection range with double ovens and numerous features. It is great to cook for large family get togethers because of its 6 cubic foot capacity and all the various food dishes I can cook at one time. However, that only happens once a year. And, after using the Ninja® Foodi™ 10-in-1 XL Pro Countertop Oven I am beginning to think my existing range will eventually go by the way of the rotary-dial-telephone. Oh My!
I was excited to have the opportunity to furnish an honest review of the Ninja® Foodi™ 10-in-1 XL Pro Countertop Oven in exchange for the actual product because I was ignorant about healthier cooking with Air Frying. This Ninja Foodi boasted that its convection power was up to ten times more powerful and effective over conventional ovens (like mine) for speedier, more tender, and crispy results. And, after cooking some of the recepies in the included 15 Recepie Booklet I am super-impressed (see pics)!
So, I weighed the advantages of this Ninja Foodi compared to my high-end, conventional range with two ovens:
* TASTE – At the end of the day this is what drives any cooking process. Sumptuous and delicious meats and veggies were cooked faster in the Ninja Foodi, which allowed the meats, especially, to retain their mouth-watering juices in less cooking time compared to my conventional oven (see chicken & roast pics). The longer meats are cooking in the oven, the dryer they get – Ninja Foodi wins this hands down. Veggies are crispier and crunchy when cooked properly in my Ninja Foodi (see attached pics). Again, my conventional ovens dry them out more, which makes it difficult to make a fair comparison. The quality of cooked foods using my Ninja is so much more tastier and healthier for me and my family, too. Yoohoo!
* CONVENIENCE & TIME SAVING - Since I have to heat and cook in my six cubic foot oven it takes much longer to have my dishes ready. However, this Ninja Foodi is just over a cubic foot, and two trays of food can easily be cooked quickly and more evenly with the same amount of preparation saving me valuable time. WooHoo! The Ninja folks state that this XL Pro Oven is ten times more powerful in convection cooking then my conventional ovens. WoW! I can cook a five pound pot roast in the Ninja Foodi in approximately an hour, over cooking for three and a half hours in my conventional oven. I am convinced this is a superior way to cook my meals, and, when finished the tender, juicy meat melts in my mouth (see pot roast pic). What's not to like?
* USER FRIENDLY LED CONTROLS – My conventional range ovens have Touch Controls, but do not indicate the placement levels of the oven racks for various cooking and baking functions. It is more 'Trial & Error'. However, the Ninja Foodi has bright, intuitive, LED, Touch Controls, which feature and indicate the four separate cooking levels to optimize each of the ten cooking functions. How cool is that? The control settings revert back to the last settings I used. I can stop the cooking process any time to check my food, and the time and temperature settings will pick up where they were stopped. There are four separate Convection Fan settings (Maximum, High, Medium, and Low), which automatically match the food function I choose. There is also an Oven Light Button, which comes ON automatically when unit is 'Started'. The LED timer counts down from the cooking function I so choose. What is amazing about the engineering of this Ninja is that the number of heating elements and air flow velocity is designed to absolutely match the cooking function I select. Outstanding!
* BUILD & DESIGN – This Ninja Countertop XL Pro Air Oven is constructed of durable, polished, Stainless Steel. The front door swings down to open, and is made of shatter proof tempered glass for safety. All of the LED, intuitive Touch Controls are in the front of the pull-down handle for convenience and simplicity. Heat dissipation vents are at the top of both sides and at the back of this unit. Factory advises one inch, minimum clearance from these heat vents to work effectively. This unit features a three-foot heavy electrical cord for safety, and weighs 33.3 pounds. Extension cords are not recommended. On my countertop this Ninja uses a compact footprint (product dimensions 17.09" L x 20.22" W x 13.34" H). It is smaller then my Microwave and fits easily and neatly under my top cabinets. It looks classy on my countertop, and I will be using it every day. Love It!
* ENERGY SAVINGS – My larger conventional oven consumes 4,000 watts of electrical power. This Ninja Foodi XL Pro Oven consumes 1,800 watts. Considering my Ninja cooks approximately three times faster then my conventional ovens, I am saving money. Yippee! However, one word of caution. This Ninja countertop oven does require a separate, and, or dedicated circuit because of its ampacity at 120V. It cannot share power with another Kitchen appliance at the same time.

* TEN COOKING FUNCTIONS - The Ninja Foodi XL Pro Oven features ten cooking functions as against either of my conventional ovens, which can only bake, broil, and cook with a convection fan that has to power a six cubic foot oven space. The Ten Cooking Functions: Air Fry, Whole Roast, Air Roast, Bake, Dehydrate, Pizza, Broil, Toast, Bagel, and Reheat. One of my favorite settings is actually, Reheat. It allows me to quickly reheat left-overs using both the top and bottom heating elements. My microwave only heats the top of my left-overs, and it seems that my re-heated foods do not stay hot for very long. Please refer back to the Owners Guide for more detailed information and illustrations concerning each of the ten cooking functions. It is not a difficult 'Learning-Curve'. These intuitive controls also allow me to individualize my time and temperature settings at any time during the cooking processes.
* IMPORTANT POINTS:
- Use cooking oils made for high heat and a high smoke point for general cooking.
- For roasting meats, and, or vegetables simultaneously – Press Level 2 Button.
- For easier cleanup – Use Parchment Paper or Aluminum Foil in bottom sheet pan. Aluminum Foil works best.
- The Air-Fry Basket can be sprayed or lightly brushed with cooking oil for nonstick cleanup.
- Never leave unit unattended while cooking.
- Oven Door is made of tempered glass for safety. But, avoid scratching or nicking.
- Oven Door and Oven Surfaces are HOT. Use protective gloves, and, or mits.
- Provide adequate air ventilation (one inch) all around when placing on countertop.
- Factory recommends Hand-Washing of all racks, pans, air basket, and roast tray for longevity.
- One Year Limited Warranty.
- Use cooking oils made for high heat and a high smoke point for general cooking.

* CARE & MAINTENANCE – For every day use wipe down the interior and glass door with just a damp sponge. If stains persist wipe down unit's interior with luke, warm, soapy water . The exterior SS finish and Control Panel in Door Handle can be cleaned with a non-abrasive, damp sponge or cloth. A deep cleaning regimen is outlined in the Owner's Guide.
* INCLUDED ACCESSORIES – Air Fry Basket (SS), Non-Stick Coated Roast Tray, Crumb Tray, Two Wire Racks (SS), and Two Non-Stick Sheet Pans. Hand Washing is recommended of these accessories to prolong their useful life. There are extra Ninja accessories available at the Ninja Product Website. I ordered another Air Fry Basket to expand my Air Frying capabilities. Also included in this package is a detailed and informative Owner's Guide, an insert for Rack Usage, and Two-Level Cooking, Tips & Tricks, and a 15 Recipie Book with charts for generalized cooking of meats and veggies.
* HEALTHIER COOKING – So, I have found out that Air Frying, Air Roasting, and Whole Roasting is not only quicker, tastier, and juicier, but also healthier too. YooPeDoo! Eliminating 75% of cooking oils and fats does not take away from any flavor. However, it does cut down on approximately 70% of unneeded calories. Amazing! After using this Ninja Foodi XL Pro Oven, daily, for almost two weeks I feel confident this is HEALTHIER COOKING, and, the new wave of the future. After cooking various meats and vegetables using the Air Fry, Whole Roast, Air Roast, etc.- I am not going back to my conventional ovens. . . .
I highly recommend this Ninja Countertop XL Pro Air Oven. It is the 'Vanguard' of future ovens. Ten desirable functions over my expensive, three-function, conventional ovens – No Brainer. It is quick, saving me time and money, but more importantly my foods are tastier, juicer, and healthier too.

Powerful, Versatile, Lightweight – Senior Friendly

As I get older I try extremely hard to 'work-smarter', not harder. And, this is especially true with my household appliances and equipment. My existing vacuum cleaner does a great job, but it is so heavy and hard to use. It is not multi-functional without dragging a heavy vacuum hose around with clumsy attachments. It was designed primarily for vacuuming floors, and, every other added function was an' afterthought'. To do above floor cleaning and dusting I need to use a ladder. At 77 years old ladders are no longer user-friendly to me for routine household chores. YUK!
So. . . .when I was fortunate enough for the opportunity to review the Shark® Vertex™ UltraLight™ DuoClean® PowerFins Corded Stick Vacuum with Self-Cleaning Brushroll in exchange for the product I jumped at the chance. As I unboxed this Shark UltraLight™ I started to have doubts that this lightweight unit could come close to, or, even outperform my expensive floor vacuum. Mmmm? However, after 3 weeks of daily vacuuming, I now sing a different song. . . . .
It took me only 5 minutes to assemble this Shark UltraLight™ and plug the unit in. I went over the included instruction booklet, which is an easy read featuring detailed illustrations. In 15 minutes I was vacuuming my Kitchen floor, which is vinyl tile. Within minutes my Kitchen floor was crumb free. WooHoo! My wife loves to bake and cook (no complaints from me). However, our Kitchen needs to be vacuumed daily (one of my honey-do jobs). My wife easily persuades me to clean our Kitchen floor with delicious cakes, pies, and other gastronomical baked goodies. YUM!
Using our other vacuum I had to shut the brush roll OFF and plug in the auxiliary hose with extension tubes and connect a hard-floor brush attachment, which was too big to get under the fridge and dishwasher. Yikes! Yet, the Shark Vertex™ UltraLight™ roamed all over our Kitchen floor with ease and under the fridge, range, and dishwasher too. The soft roller found and devoured crumbs our pup, Cassie, couldn't find. Amazing!
After three weeks of daily use this is what I found are major advantages of this Shark® Vertex™ UltraLight™ DuoClean® PowerFins Corded Stick Vacuum:
* VACUUM PICKUP POWER – Performance is probably the most important reason to buy a vacuum cleaner in the first place. I was immediately impressed by the suction and debris pickup power of this stick vacuum. It is approximately 8 inches in width, which concentrates its suction power as against my wider existing floor vacuum at 12 inches wide with a twice as big, much heavier motor.
* DUO CLEAN POWERFINS – My carpets are deep pile. I would constantly have to replace the two rotating brushes on my existing vacuum sweeper. My carpet would wear them out. However, I was quite pleased with the Shark DuoClean PowerFins technology for deep pile carpet cleaning. The flexible, silicone PowerFins on the Shark floor nozzle dig deep into my carpet for more thorough cleaning. WOW! Using the Solid Floor Setting slows down both the front-leading soft roller and PowerFins roller for efficient cleaning and pet hair removal. The Carpet Setting speeds up both rollers and makes the floor nozzle with its PowerFins glide over my carpets effortlessly. WooHoo!
* CONTROLS – The topside LED lit controls are simple to operate. There is the Power Button, Bare Floor Setting, and Carpet Setting. Icons appear for the vacuum setting chosen so you know what floor setting is operating. How cool is that? The floor nozzle has a green LED indicator light when working properly. If the indicator light turns red, turn OFF the vacuum and disconnect the floor nozzle. The obstructions in the floor nozzle must be cleared before the indicator light will go back to green.
* MULTIFUNCTIONAL VACUUM – At the top of this neatly assembled cleaning machine is the Handheld Vacuum, which weighs just under three pounds. Easily detachable it enables me to dust with the handheld Dusting Brush, which spins 180 degrees for both horizontal, or vertical dusting tasks. I can do most of my routine dusting with just the Handheld Vacuum and Dusting Brush (see pics). The Crevice Tool with Handheld Vacuum is just what I needed to clean my cars, in difficult to reach areas, and my sliding glass door tracks (see pics). What is the most important accessory to us is the Self-Cleaning Pet Power Brush. Like all puppies, our Cassie sheds hair, and this Pet Power Brush is fantastic at cleaning our couches, sofas, and chairs (see pics). I love Self-Cleaning, and this tool is unbelievable in capturing pet hair without the messy unrolling entrapped pet hair in the brushes. My expensive, high end, floor vacuum cannot do that. . . .
* SENIOR FRIENDLY – The whole assembled Shark® Vertex™ UltraLight™ DuoClean® PowerFins Corded Stick Vacuum weighs approximately 12 pounds. My existing floor vacuum weighs approximately 22 pounds without vacuum hose and accessories. So, in keeping with my motto, 'working smarter' not harder, this Shark® Vertex™ UltraLight™ DuoClean® stick vacuum is as effective in floor cleaning as my existing unit. But, this Shark is so much easier to use then my heavier, less navigable, unit and provides more effective cleaning as a multi-functional vacuum cleaner. At my age arthritis is a fact-of-life. This Shark glides over my floors with its active rollers moving forward and gripping deep into my pile carpet. Additionally, the floor nozzle effortlessly swivels 45 degrees to the left or right with a flick of my wrist (see pics). Whoopee! To clean anything overhead is also a breeze for my arthritic hands. I can connect the Handheld Vacuum, which weighs less then 3 pounds, to the wand for most of my overhead cleaning tasks without ever having to use a step stool or dangerous ladder. I have dusted all my A/C ceiling grilles from just standing on my floor (see pics). Love it!
* MAINTENANCE – EZ empty Dust Cup, which holds approximately 10 ounces of debris. There is a cleanable and re-usable Pre-Motor Filter, which should be washed twice a month with just plain tap water and air dried. The Post-Motor Filter is also washable, and should be washed every nine months according to the Instruction Booklet. The Soft Roller in the floor nozzle can also be hand washed as needed with just plain tap water.
* DESIRABLE FEATURES:
- Thirty foot electrical cord, plugs in anywhere convenient to my vacuuming.
- Eight bright LED lights on floor nozzle to illuminate cleaning path. Great in dimly lit rooms.
- On Board attachment hook, which fits on the wand and holds up to two attachments.
- Floor nozzle/sweeper is approximately 2 ¾ inches high and goes under all my furniture.
- Cord wrap hooks on the wand for wrapping the electrical cord up for storage.
- EZ stand-up storage takes little room in my closet. Handheld Vacuum hooks on to wand.
- Three attachments, Crevice Tool, Dusting Brush, and Self-Cleaning Pet Power Brush.

Keurig K-Supreme – Superior Coffee Maker

My wife and I are coffee lovers. We enjoy freshly brewed coffee several times a day. Before reviewing the Keurig K-Supreme we were using a high-end, self-grinding, drip brewer. The coffee is outstanding, but as we get older the daily, arduous cleanup and toilsome maintenance is very trying. Especially, since we used this unit several times a day. YUK!
Having seen the K-Pod coffee take over most of the grocery store shelving over the past years made me curious about the quality of this kind of coffee brewing. But, we were happy with the quality of our Grind 'N Brew in spite of the grueling daily cleanup. So, when I had an opportunity to review the Keurig K-Supreme Coffee Maker in exchange for the product I wondered if this Keurig was a superior coffee maker. At first we compared a cup of our Grind 'N Brew to one from the Keurig, and were most pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality. Our Grind 'N Brew makes a minimum of four cups. So, unless we drink at least two cups a piece the other two are wasted since they won't stay hot and fresh for two or more hours. The Keurig makes single servings from four different sizes, 6, 8, 10 and 12 ounces and brews them up at 170 degrees F anytime we choose, and NO laborious cleanup. YooHoo! Since the pods are sealed they stay fresh at room temperature for long periods then storing our coffee beans in the freezer or fridge. The 24 pack of K-Pods we purchased has a 'Best Used By' date of one year from our purchase date. How cool is that? Since we have already used our original 24-pack purchase over the past two weeks using the Keurig K-Supreme and K-Cup pods freshness is never going to be an issue.
So, why should you buy this new Keurig K-Supreme?:
** EXCELLENT BREWED COFFEE - The Keurig K-Supreme employs their latest proprietary, MultiStream Technology, which uses multiple streams of hot water to permeate the K-Cup pod for full bodied flavor and aroma. There are actually five needle streams of water, which pierce the top wrapping of the sealed, foiled pod to fill it evenly for excellent coffee making, and only one at the bottom. The actual water flow has been engineered for maximum, even saturation. The unit offers me the choices of 6, 8, 10 and 12 ounce-sized cups. It also allows me to fill my insulated, 'To Go' cup.
** Well Designed & Engineered – Keurig has been making their highly successful K-Cups since 1998. They have been the market leader and innovator in single serve coffeemakers. Keurig has perfected the art of marrying great tasting, high quality, and fresh coffee in their specially designed, single serve coffee brewers. There is a generously-sized water reservoir, 66 ounces, which eliminates constant filling for each single serve. The total height of the K-Supreme is 17 inches with the Brew Handle in the upright position so it easily fits under standard counter tops with top cabinetry. It has a small footprint, approximately 12.2 inches high (with handle closed); 17 inches high (with handle fully up); 8 inches wide with reservoir tank on left side, and 12 inches deep with reservoir on side. The reservoir is dual position and can be placed on left side or back of unit. When the reservoir is mounted at the back of unit the depth is 15 inches. This whole unit can fit into a space approximately 8 inches wide by 15 inches deep with reservoir mounted on back saving valuable counter space. WooHoo!
** SIMPLE CONTROLS – On the top of the unit sits all the controls. An 'ON/OFF Power Button' is on the right towards the back. But, keep in mind that the unit actually turns ON when the top Brewer Handle is lifted to insert a K-Cup pod. It automatically turns itself OFF after 5 minutes from my last brew. There are two indicator lights, one for 'Add Water' and the other for 'DESCALE' when needed. In the center of the top is a circle with indicators for my choices of 6, 8, 10 and 12 ounce-sized cups. There is also a selector for 'STRONG' and 'OVER ICE' for iced coffee. Personally, I love the 'STRONG' Button. YUM! In the center of this control circle is the large 'K' or Brewing Button. When all selections have been made the 'K' Button starts the brewing process, which takes approximately two minutes. There is also a high altitude adjustment as illustrated in the Quick Start Guide. These controls are simplistic and straightforward. WoW!
** OTHER FEATURES – There is a filter on the bottom of the reservoir, which Keurig recommends be replaced every two months. The reservoir also has a 'MAX' fill line. At the front and bottom of the Keurig unit is a pullout Drip Tray. It is two-piece and easily wiped out and cleaned. Besides coffee pods this unit lends itself to accommodate tea and cocoa pods.
** WATER QUALITY – This is a key ingredient in delicious, tasting coffee. Plain tap water will never do this Keurig, or any other coffee maker justice. I am on well-water and have gone to great lengths to filter out the calcium carbonate and undesirable minerals from my water that I use for my coffee and cooking. However, bottled, and or, filtered water (not distilled) can be used just for this Keurig if house-filtered water is not available. Try it once in this machine, and, you will never go back to plain tap water.
** EZ CARE & MAINTENANCE – Occasionally, the 66 ounce reservoir and lid should be hand washed. Descale with the proper descaler recommended by Keurig when the DESCALER light is lit. Inspect the five brewing needles if brewing gets inconsistent because of clogging by coffee grounds. I use a cleansing brew once a week to dislodge any coffee grounds in the brewing needles and inspect the pod holder for cleanliness.
** SUMMARY - I highly recommend the purchase of this Keurig K-Supreme. The MultiStream Technology is a game changer in brewing luscious, tasting coffee. I love the simple convenience of popping in a K-Cup pod and in two minutes I have a satisfying, hot cup of delectable, tasting coffee. I no longer have any time-consuming, tedious cleanup. Woopee! This Keurig K-Supreme would make a great Shower, Wedding, or any-occasion gift to a special family member or friend. It would also make a great upgrade from an older model Keurig. Buy one – you won't be disappointed.

Healthy/Fast Cooking - 8 Qt, Digital, Air Fryer

Because I had no experience in air frying foods I was curious and excited to review this Chefman Chef IQ 8 Quart Digital Air Fryer in exchange for the product. As I took this Chefman out of its box I was immediately impressed with its streamlined, simple, rounded design with contrasting stainless steel and black finishes. The top of the unit, pull-out, 8 quart basket with handle, and front are finished in highly polished stainless steel. The rest of this unit is made of plastic finished in a slightly textured, finger print resistant, matte black. What I really like about this classy looking, unit is that it is not a run-of-the-mill, boxy built appliance with ninety degree corners. The corners of this unit are rounded and extremely pleasing to look at on my counter tops. It weighs approximately 13 pounds, light enough to be portable and placed anywhere I choose to store on my kitchen counter tops. Additionally, the bottom of the unit is slightly larger (approximately 12 5/8” W x 12 5/8” L) then the top (approximately 11.5” W x11.5” L) giving this unit a modernistic, conical appearance. It is approximately 13 1/2” in height and will easily fit under any existing kitchen cabinetry. Over the pull-out frying basket is the black, touch digital, control panel. It is generously sized (approximately 6 5/8” H x 5 5/8” W) and framed with polished stainless steel at its sides. The LED digital readouts, icons, and responsive, touch controls are bright and large enough to read from across my kitchen. This comes in real handy when I am at another counter working in my kitchen away from the Chefman Air Fryer and the Shake LED comes ON. Wow! Since it produces heat I cook with this unit under my range hood to exhaust and dissipate the heat. However, I store it next to my range for convenience since we have learned to cook with this handy unit much more frequently.
So, why do I think this Chefman Chef IQ 8 Quart Digital Air Fryer is so great?
** HEALTHIER COOKING – Using none at all, or, just a scant trace of cooking oil for crisping, reduces unneeded saturated fats and calories in our diet. WooHoo! The majority of time we cook just for the two of us, Grandma and me. But, when our Grand Kids are over begging for a snack of french fries, or, battered onion rings Grandma loves cooking with our Chefman Air Fryer. She knows using little or NO oil at all is much healthier for the Grand Kids. YooHoo!
** FAST COOKING – The Chefman IQ Air Fryer uses what they term as TurboFry to make the whole air frying operation speedy and tasty. This unit can even be pre-heated to expedite the cooking process. How cool is that? The 1700 watt heating element and fan is immediately above the air frying basket for efficiency. The basket bottom rack is designed to be elevated just enough to allow the forced air from the overhead fan to circulate over, under and around my my food items for fast, more even air frying.
** RESPONSIVE TOUCH CONTROL PANEL – Love the simplicity and generously sized Touch Control Panel. At the very top of this panel is the digital, Temp/Time display, which allows me to toggle between Time, Temp, Fahrenheit, or Celsius. There are four presets, Fish, Fries, Chicken, and, or, Meat. The Time and Temperature are preset for my convenience. However, either one can be modified as I see fit. For instance – air frying frozen shoestring fries for the Grand Kids takes only half the time (10 minutes at 400 degrees F) over the preset (20 minutes at 400 F) for thicker, regular sized, french fries. I can easily tap the Time/Temp Touch Controls, + or - to change accordingly. There is a Shake Indicator, which is set to warn me by blinking after every five minutes of air frying to enable more evenness and thorough cooking. Although there is a Start Button Icon anytime the basket is removed to Shake, or, check on the doneness of the food – the cooking process is stopped. Air frying immediately resumes Time and Temp from where it was stopped after the basket is re-inserted into the appliance. Fantastic!
** ENERGY SAVINGS - This Chefman IQ 8 Quart Digital Air Fryer uses less time and far less energy then just heating our oven in order to get ready to cook our foods. It saves us money. At 1700 Watts of power it can air fry frozen, or, fresh foods quickly, while crisping them and making them delicious tasting. It is also great for reheating foods, especially leftovers. It is remarkably better for reheating then my microwave.
** FRESH, FROZEN, OR BATTERED – Pleasantly surprising to me was the crunchy taste and crispness of air frying fresh vegetables. Gotta' taste them! After using this Chefman for two weeks there is NO other way to cook my veggies from now on. As far as air frying frozen foods is concerned, yet another surprise, crispy texture. In my conventional oven frozen foods are either not done, or, overdone, but never just right and crispy too. Love It! Grandma has found out that she can use her most scrumptious batter on our fresh veggies, then freeze them on a cookie-sheet. After they are frozen she cooks them in our Chefman Air Fryer. YUMMY! Folks, it doesn't get any better tasting then that.....
** LARGE CAPACITY BASKET - The eight quart size cooking basket is generously sized enough to cook for four or more, or, your entire family. Just remember to space your food out evenly on the basket rack and Shake when prompted. Thinner slices of meat, chicken, beef, or fish cook more evenly, quickly, and thoroughly. The knack of air frying in this Chefman is an easy learning curve with this large sized cooking basket. For Grandma and I it is so easy to use and allows us to eat more air fried, healthier foods. WowEee!
** EASY CLEANUP – All of the air frying cooking surfaces are coated with non-stick finishes. As the manufacturer suggests they will last longer being hand-washed. However, the basket and basket rack can go on the top rack of my dishwasher. It goes without saying that any utensils used to stir or place food in this basket and basket rack should be non-stick friendly.
** GRANDMA TIPS:
**** Do NOT overload the basket with food – space out evenly, especially with meat, fish, or chicken. Cook several smaller batches.
**** You can use Parchment Paper, or, Aluminum Foil to line the bottom of the basket for more easier cleanup if using meats, or battered foods.
**** Keep all of your food items uniform in size for more even and thorough cooking.
**** Flip meats and add seasonings at the very end of the air frying process.
**** Use an oil-based stainless steel cleaner/polish to keep fingerprints from showing on your Chefman polished, stainless steel.

This unit actually pays for itself in energy costs over time against using a conventional oven. It is not expensive and makes a great wedding gift, bridal shower, to a special friend, or family member.

Portable, Powerful, Practical, Cordless Hand Vac

Let me begin by stating this is a Portable, Rechargeable, Battery-Powered Cordless, Hand Vac designed and engineered by Hoover. For over 112 years Hoover has been the leader and innovator in vacuum sweeper and floor care technology. So, when I had the opportunity to review this Hoover OnePWR Dust Chaser Cordless Hand Vac in exchange for the product I was excited. I felt confident that this machine was going to be far more superior in performance and quality compared to my last four portable hand vacs. To be honest I never spent over Thirty Dollars for anyone of them, I got what I paid for. YUK!
This Hoover OnePWR Cordless Dust Chaser is a quality-built hand vac. It is so much more powerful then the more 'inexpensive' hand vacs I purchased in the past. Two of my last hand vacs were 'Plug-In', and, the last two battery-powered. There is NO comparison to the vacuuming power. This Hoover is so much more powerful. I do not have to repeatedly go over the same area to vacuum debris. This Hoover Dust Chaser gets it clean the very first time. WooHoo!
So, why do I think this Hoover OnePWR Dust Chaser Cordless Hand Vac is superior:
** POWERFUL HAND VAC – Not having to go over the same area repeatedly to vacuum is a big plus for me. It gets up dust, debris, and pet hair the first time. Using the right tool for each application is the key for a thorough clean-up. Hoover claims the Dust Chaser has two times more suction then its other less expensive portable, hand held vacuum cleaner. This unit has a powerful, digital motor.
** CORDLESS CONVENIENCE – I can take this hand vac anywhere in and around my house for thorough spot cleaning. No hanging, dangling, tripping, electrical cords needed. . What is impressive is that as the battery runs down there is no 'fading', or, reduction of power. If there is a clog, loss of suction, or dirty filter the Power Button will flash. How cool is that?
** MULTI-PURPOSE TOOLS – This Hoover hand vac includes a 2-in-1 Dusting and Crevice Tool along with a handy Upholstery Tool. The Crevice Tool features a 'fold-down' dusting extension for convenience. The Upholstery Tool features micro-brushes for deep down vacuuming. The tool attachments simply click in and pull out when changing.
** LIGHTWEIGHT & SENIOR FRIENDLY – This Hoover Dust Chaser weighs approximately three pounds. It can easily be carried anywhere around my home. This is a great hand vac for folks like me with Arthritis, or with limited physical abilities. YooHoo!

** PRACTICAL EVERYDAY CLEANING – I use this Hoover Dust Chaser for almost everything my regular vacuum cleaner cannot get to because of tight spaces or the inconvenience of running an electrical cord. It is definitely the 'Go-To' vac for my car. But, I also use this Hoover Dust Chaser to reach deep into my clothes-dryer filter housing to vacuum up the stubborn lint bunnies, sliding glass door tracks, condenser coils under my refrigerator, nooks and crannies under my cabinets and appliances. Super!
** RECHARGEABLE BATTERY – Included with this Hoover Dust Chaser is ONEPWR™ 2.0 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery and Charger. I get approximately 20 minutes of use for vacuuming when my battery is fully charged, and, it takes over two hours to completely charge. The included charger is simple to use and has LED lights, which indicate battery charge status.
** MAINTENANCE – The Dirt Cup is easily removed using one hand. Just press the 'Dirt Cup Release' and push forward at the same time. The Dirt Cup can be emptied in my trash at any time, especially since it is semi-clear so I can tell when it needs emptying. As mentioned earlier the Power Button will flash when the unit is clogged (full). It does NOT hold a big volume of debris so be aware of amount of debris in the Dirt Cup. The first stage Stainless Steel filter can be cleaned easily just by shaking, or rinsing if needed. The Foam Filter is in the back of the unit near the Battery Housing. Simply slide the Light Grey Release Latch to access the foam filter. It can be rinsed thoroughly and let to dry for approximately 24 hours for continued use.
** SUMMARY – I love the convenience, power, and ease of use of this Hoover Dust Chaser Hand Vac. You certainly can buy less expensive units, but will they match the performance and quality of this Hoover? I found out after buying four inferior units and now am a 'believer'. Hoover backs up this unit with a Three-Year Warranty. None of the prior units I purchased ever had warranties, let alone replacement parts available. This Hoover Hand Vac would make a great gift, especially for a Senior, family member, or friend, who has some limited hand strengths and agility.

Nugget Ice for FUN, Parties, & Grandkids' Treats

Wow! What a versatile ice machine. I never knew that I needed an Ice Machine until I was fortunate enough to review this GE Profile Opal 2.0 24-lb Portable Ice Maker with Nugget Ice Production and WiFi in exchange for the actual product. Now, I am wondering how I ever did without it. It is pricey folks, but ”You get what you pay for”. It is mostly made of Stainless Steel. General Electric has been making appliances for over a century. Their reputation for innovation and reliability is stellar. This particular Nugget Ice Maker is designed to be a portable, counter top appliance in your kitchen, or, where ever you want to place it for convenience. I have it on top of my beverage/wine cooler for convenience so I can add a scoop or two of nuggets to my drink. My Grandkids love this Nugget Ice Machine because the ice is so chewable and Grandma adds flavored syrup to this Summer-Cooling Treat (see pic)! WooHoo!
Why do I love this GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Maker:
** EASY INSTALLATION & SET UP – Out of the box I had this Nugget Ice Maker dropping ice within an hour and thirty minutes. A Quick-Start Guide and Owners Manual is included detailing the cleansing and sanitation process of all included parts and internal components. The manuals are comprehensive and include detailed illustrations. I took approximately thirty minutes to digest the provided information, and, set-up this Nugget Ice Maker. TIP: Set this unit up initially near your sink – It makes the cleansing and sanitation process so much simpler.
** BUILD – This unit is made of Stainless Steel and quality, food-grade plastic. It is NOT light. The entire unit weighs over 38 pounds. Although it is 'portable', it is heavy and folks with limited physical strength should be cautioned. As the manufacturer suggests - It is safer for two people to move this unit. The Stainless Steel is a 'brushed-finish', which is easily cleaned and somewhat finger print resistant. Care and Maintenance only requires simple cleaning and wiping down the unit's exterior. A Stainless Steel Cleaner/Polisher keeps my unit looking brand new. . . .YooHoo!
** MAKING ICE – After sanitizing the interior components of this unit and rinsing several times, comes the best part, making Nugget Ice. I live I rural North Florida and use 'filtered' well-water. Calcium carbonate is the biggest enemy in my drinking and household water. So, I have installed a filter system, which filters the calcium carbonate, sediment, and detrimental minerals. My water is 'now sweet-tasting' and great for coffee, tea, and ice making. After 'Cleaning', Rinsing, and Draining the system several times I was ready to fill the internal reservoir, and make ice. YIKES! The Nugget Ice is sweet, chewable, and YUMMY! This machine makes ice quickly, and recycles the melted ice water into more nugget ice. GREAT!
** ADVANTAGES OF GE NUGGET ICE – Since there is more surface square area of nugget ice and many times more number of ice cubes compared to larger conventional cubes the ice makes my drinks get colder much quicker. Yes, the ice is chewable, but, can also be used as a decorative underlayment for fresh salmon, shrimp, and, or, lobster hors d'oeuvres. How cool is that? This is a fantastic Nugget Ice Machine for parties, family, and 'neighbor-get-to-togethers'. It is also a great conversation piece.
** CARE & MAINTENANCE – The quality of water is so important to this ice maker. Filtered water like mine will maintain the continued benefits of sweet-tasting nugget ice cubes. However, after three weeks of daily 'operation', I recommend a clean and sanitation process of at least once a week. It is NOT difficult and does NOT take much valuable time. If you have mineral deposits, which is probably the norm for most households, please follow the included instructions detailed in the Owners Manual. This GE Profile Opal 2.0 24-lb Portable Ice Maker with Nugget Ice Production will provide you quality, great-tasting nuggets if you follow the 'Care & Maintenance Instructions. Do NOT place any components in the Dishwasher.
** WI-FI APP – GE needs do to some serious work on this App. It is NOT user-friendly at this time. I used the latest version of I-Phone and Android to download and connect to this App. No connection. My Wi-Fi router did NOT recognize this unit and I could NOT Bluetooth with this App. Oh' well - This GE Profile Nugget Ice Maker still produces delicious nuggets without this App. I do NOT use this App because I have determined it is NOT necessary to the successful operation of this GE unit. However, you may find it most helpful. . . .
** VERSATIITY – Of course this GE Nugget Ice Machine produces chewable nuggets, which are storeable in my freezer, but it also is a great party accessory. When I have treasured family members, and, or, close-neighbors over for some 'libations' – this is a great party center of attention. They all love the nugget ice cubes. . . .and, the classy looks of this GE Profile Nugget Ice Maker. It makes great Tasty-Icy-Nugget-Summer-Treats for kids & Grandkids.
** TOUCH CONTROLS – It does NOT get any easier then the GE Touch Controls to Clean, Turn ON Power, and the UV Light. Do NOT directly into the UV Light – It can cause serious eye damage. After 'cleaning' just a touch of the Power Button is all that the 'Making Ice' function is activated – When the Internal Reservoir is filled and the Ice Bin is in place. It lets me know when its making ice and out of water.
** ADDITIONAL TANK – Wow! This is what keeps this GE Nugget Ice Maker going for hours.
It gives this unit 3-times the ice capacity over just filing the reservoir alone. Twenty-Four pounds of ice producing capacity. GREAT! Lovei t!

Excellent BT Speaker For Summer FUN & Pool

'Party-Time' is what Sony should have named this latest in the line of its Bluetooth speakers. Sony has built this unit with all of the most desirable features I could ever ask in a BT speaker. It is IP67, waterproof and dustproof rated, which allows me to use this FUN party machine outside around my pool and hot tub. WoW! It is also shock-resistant, and can take some bumps and falls too. Since I use this speaker outside a lot I keep the sound level a little higher then moderate. It reproduces the mid-ranges with vibrant instruments and clear voice. For the size of this speaker the bass frequency is outstanding, low and dynamic. It features five sound modes: Clear Audio+, DSEE, LIVE SOUND, EXTRA BASS TM, and STAMINA MODE. STAMINA will give me the most battery life while using moderate volume levels. Clear Audio+ is what Sony recommends for the most simplest operation. EXTRA BASS is the highlight of this speaker and also my Grand Kids favorite sound setting. And, using the Sony Music App I can set the EQ for different genres of music to further heighten and customize the sound quality I want. My Grand Kids can make these effects in sync with both the music and lighting. Illumination Controls feature Party-Flash and Custom Color, which is unbelievable. Again, tapping or swirling my finger around on a circle on the pad of my Smartphone that appears when selecting this setting makes these fantastic party effects. My Grand Kids love to dance with their cell phones in hand and change the light show to the rhythm, beat, add DJ effects, or, anyway they choose using the Fiestable App. They do this with the Motion-Control by swinging their phones back and forth, side to side and pivoting them. It is absolutely fascinating to watch and see what effects they can do in sync with the music. I don't have the talent for this, but they make it look so easy and FUN to do. YooHoo!
** BATTERY LIFE – After fully charging this speaker I got a full 18 hours before I had to recharge it again. But, in fairness I play the volume above moderate levels. And, the illumination effects are only used when the Grand Kids come over at night for a dip in the pool, and to dance to the music on our deck. This speaker can be charged with the included USB Type-C cable. There is also a USB port for me to charge my cell phone or any other device. Using the lighting mode and effects along with EXTRA BASS decreases the available battery reserve.
** OTHER FEATURES – Hands free calling using my voice assistant, Siri, is an nice option, that I really do not use it. But, it is available, and I might use it on my upcoming fishing trip. At the back of the unit is a Party Connect button, which will allow up to 100 (Sony select models, compatible speakers) to be connected over Bluetooth. How cool is that? This speaker only weighs approximately two and half pounds, making it extremely portable. I am taking it along on my boat for my next fishing trip for entertainment. I only need to figure out what music I need to play to catch fish?
** CONCLUSION – I enjoy using this speaker outside by my pool the most. I highly recommend it. Since it is waterproof I have NO worries about it getting splashed on. My Grand Kids absolutely love it and all the FUN party features. And, I am so pleased watching them enjoy this party machine. This speaker would make a great gift to a young teen, family member, or friend, who enjoys spending time outdoors.

Carpet Stains - Obliterated With Oxy Spot Chaser

So, after having my breakfast I decided to leisurely drink my tomato juice in my Living Room while listening to the early morning news. And, as a life-long Klutz I just happened to knock over my tomato juice near the right hand side of my 'easy-chair, while reaching for it (see pics). YIKES! I just shampooed my whole Living Room a month earlier with my new Hoover SmartWash PET Complete carpet washer. It did such a fantastic job of cleaning my carpets it really made me feel bad after this horrible, staining spill. Oh well, in my life, spills happen all the time. Me, or, the Grand Kids – it's a toss-up, and just a matter of time according to Grandma.
Beforehand, I only used the Hoover OXY Spot Chaser in my Spot Chaser Wand as pre-treatment for nasty spots and stains prior to carpet cleaning. It was impressive in removing the worst of my problem, carpet stains. So, I followed the instructions on the bottle, sprayed the tomato juice stain with my Spot Chaser Wand and waited the full ten minutes. However, this time I did not use the SmartWash PET Complete carpet washer. I simply used a damp rag and and-rubbed the entire area of tomato juice stains. I rinsed my scrubbing rag several times with clean water and was amazed at how easy the stain was to clean-up by hand. Please keep in mind that this Hoover OXY Spot Chaser is intended to be used in the Spot Chaser Wand as a pre-treatment before using the Hoover SmartWash. The Hoover SmartWash PET Complete carpet washer automatically scrubs, washes, and rinses without any hand-scrubbing effort, whatsoever. But, I did NOT want Grandma to know I spilled the tomato juice by using the carpet cleaning machine.
As anyone can see (see pics) this Hoover OXY Spot Chaser miraculously made my tomato juice stains disappear without much effort. WooHoo! I love this product. It has kept me from receiving numerous lectures from Grandma about my Klutzy spills. When I have used it as pre-treatment for carpet stains it is noteworthy to mention that when our pet pups have 'accidents' it also removes the stains and odors too. YooHoo! But, it also is fantastic at 'problem' carpet stains, and that is why I highly recommend this Hoover OXY Spot Chaser.

My Portable Home Office, Workhorse On-The-Road

As a construction inspector my job is to ensure that the contractors work is in conformity with the various architectural and engineering specifications for that particular project manual. As a result I take hundreds of photos a week while visiting various out-of-town project job sites. Many are very detailed and specific to an issue or the specified product, and, or materials required. In my motel room I mark-up many of my job photos with a digital pen highlighting details, which need further clarification by the architect or engineer. I e-mail my marked-up photos that night so they are ready for determination and further direction by the design professionals the next morning. Along with the photos I also send my written reports, and, or detailed narratives. For five days I used this Samsung Galaxy Book Flex Alpha 2-in-1 13.3 Inch Touch Screen Laptop on my out of town construction projects. It is a dynamic, portable, home-office laptop, which allows me to store and highlight my job photos and create MS Word document-reports too. Since it is a 2-in-1 it is ideal for use with my digital pen. I simply flip the screen over backwards over the keyboard into tablet mode and it enables me to make detailed job notations and remarks. WooHoo!
So, why do I love using this Samsung Galaxy Book Flex Alpha 'Workhorse'?
** POWER & SPEED – This Samsung features a 512 GB Solid State Drive, which enables faster loading of my large photo files. This faster loading saves me time and allows me to be more productive. Coupled with Intel's 10th generation, i7-10510U processor, and 12 GB DDR4 SDRAM Memory, this is one fast and powerful, workhorse laptop. It is notable that DDR4 is the Fourth Generation in RAM. It provides the latest development in increased data transfer rates (1600 Mbps to 3200 Mbps) and larger capacities. This baby can do lots of work, and quickly too.
** BUILD & PORTABILITY – This well-designed laptop is made of lightweight aluminum and is a classy-looking, silver finish. It weighs approximately 2 pounds and 10 ounces. It is 8 Inches by 12 inches and only a half inch thick. My cell phone is thicker then this Samsung laptop. It easily fits into my backpack. I really appreciate the rounded edges of the entire case. It has a backlit keyboard controlled by a light sensor at the top and to the left of the keyboard. The built-in keyboard is configurable and comfortable to use. The keys have a little 'travel-resilience' and respond well. Because of its smaller footprint it does not feature a numerical pad. The keyboard also has a fingerprint reader, which I can use for added security. The generously-sized trackpad is mounted in the center just underneath the space bar of the keyboard, and is very responsive. I love the convertible flip screen, 2-in-1 feature. It makes doing my notations, drawings, and remarks on my photos so much easier to do compared to my previous laptop. When the screen is flipped past the transition point to be used as a tablet, the keyboard and touchpad are automatically locked out. A tablet mode window will pop up and ask me if I want to switch. The screen will automatically orientate itself into portrait or landscape mode, whichever I choose as I position my screen. I think this 2-in1 feature is the best characteristic of this laptop for me while on-the-road. If you do lots of editing or mark-up photos like I do this 2-in-1 laptop is exactly what you need.
** STORAGE - I keep all of my various job Specification Manuals in digital document form stored on my laptop. The average Job Specification Manual contains approximately 300 pages. This Samsung workhorse allows me to take my laptop to my job sites so I can refer back to the Job Specifications when needed. I store most of my Digital Manuals and job- photos on the fast, 512 GB SSD, and, back them up on a 1TB, Micro SDXC Card using the Memory Card, Reader Slot. The Memory Card Reader supports SDXC cards up to 2TB. How cool is that? This Samsung provides me with plenty of storage options and accessibility too. YooHoo!
** QLED SCREEN – This Galaxy Book Flex Alpha duplicates the same kind of screens in popular Samsung' HD TVs. The screen is 2K HD, and is all I need for photo mark-ups and editing. A 4K screen would lose its perspective in this smaller 13.3 inch screen size. I set-up my QLED display in 'Samsung Settings' to Dynamic Mode for more vivid color and clarity. Steaming movies and videos in QLED, full and rich colors is delightful. The Samsung engineers utilize quantum dots to enhance the various colors, shades, and hues to present the best true color renditions available. So, this QLED screen provides the whole color spectrum in intense brilliance, and in any light conditions. This true color reproduction is why this is one of the more popular laptops at its price-point for photographers. The Outdoor Mode (F10) is amazingly bright, and I have used it on-the-job in bright light conditions, but not direct sunlight. The screen is also a sensitive Touch Screen, which I only use when using my Digital Pen, but a must in Tablet Mode. On the top of the screen is a built-in 720p, front-facing camera. On either side of the camera in the top case are twin mics.
** PORTS – On the right side of the unit are two USB 3 ports, and they are colored the standard blue for USB 3.0 ports. There is a Micro SD Memory Card Reader, which supports up to 2TB SDXC cards. Then, the ON switch for you computer. It also turns ON when you tilt-up the screen from the keyboard. On the left side of the unit is the DC charging port, HDMI port, USB Type C port, and 3.5mm headphone/mic jack.

** OTHER FEATURES – The WI-Fi card is 802.11ax 2x2 160MHz, which is approximately three times faster then standard MU-MIMO, 802.11ac 2x2 80 MHz . However, your router needs to have the hardware to march this card to take advantage of the faster download speeds. This laptop also has Bluetooth Pairing capabilities. The main body has two bottom speakers on the right and left sides towards the front. They are OK, but I paired an auxiliary Bluetooth speaker for richer sound to match the quality of streaming movies I watch on this unit. I am going to mention the additional software in Samsung Settings in addition to Win 10. Some are very helpful for my system: screen display, audio, and pen usage settings.
** BATTERY & CHARGING – I have used this Samsung on-the-road for approximately six hours a day. At the end of the second day I fully charge it overnight. If I did not stream a movie each day I probably would get a few more hours. But, I think over 12 hours of heavy battery use is terrific. There is also a very helpful Smart Battery Calibration using the set-up key, F2. Be aware users cannot change the interior battery – only a qualified Samsung Service Center can accomplish installation of a replacement battery.
** SUMMARY – I love this Galaxy Book Flex Alpha laptop. It has made me more productive on-the-road by saving me much time because of faster photo file loading, editing, and making notations on Job Photos very easy. It is powerful and fast, lightweight, and extremely portable. This laptop would make a great gift for a High School or College student. It also makes a FUN gift for that budding photographer, family member, or friend on your list. For my applications it is a Five Star laptop.

The interior oven measures approximately 10" x 13" x 14", which is approximately, slightly larger then one cubic foot. Ninja folks say you can cook a 12 pound bird in the oven. I don't think weight has that much to do with it. I cooked a five pound Pot Roast and it was dwarfed in this oven (see pic). Probably could of cooked 15 pounds of Pot Roast. Based on my experiences. . . .You can easily cook 10 or more pounds of Turkey Breast in this oven (as long as it is contained in a 12" x 12" x 12'' area. . . .Hope this helps.

I am a heavy user of this laptop for work. I load large photo files and mark them up with construction inspector notes using my digital pen.. I easily get 12 hours of battery life over two days of use. I think I could get at least several more hours if I didn't stream movies for entertainment at night in my motel room when I am out of town. This baby is powerful and fast. My guess is that if you just do word documents and e-mail you will come close to 17 hours of battery life.. . .

This unit will allow you to download Apps from the Google Play Store. I downloaded MS Word and Excel although Google Docs is an excellent word processing software too. Google also has fine presentation software also.
The touch display screen is bright and clear and wide enough 16:9 aspect, so that two pages of a word document can be displayed at one time if so desired. Great for students. It features a center-placed trackpad, which is adjustable for sensitivity. The keys on the keyboard are backlit and can be adjusted for brightness level. Only an Android smart phone can connect through BT to lock the unit and turn it on, if you wish. It will also allow you to send and receive messages from your phone and, or Pixelbook. This Pixelbook does utilize the voice commands of the Google Assistant also. There are thousands of Apps at the Play Store, and in my opinion, this Chrome OS rivals Windows and Mac for productivity. Chrome OS is a simple easy to learn system. It is NOT bloated like Windows or Mac so a high end processor, RAM memory, or huge hard drive is not needed. Cloud backups is available. This is a sold unit for school-related productivity, note taking, and entertainment too. It is great for creating and editing word processing and spreadsheets, e-mail, and surfing the web for information. But it is NOT a gamer or able to do heavy graphics and photo editing.

YES - The door can be extended beyond 90 degrees. However, it would have to protrude a couple of inches out from the 'flush' side of the cabinetry to fully extend against a wall. When the unit is free-standing the Right-Side-Handed-Door can extend approximately 145 degrees from its fully closed position. Hope this helps. . . .
YES - The door can be extended beyond 90 degrees. However, it would have to protrude a couple of inches out from the 'flush' side of the cabinetry to fully extend against a wall. When the unit is free-standing the Right-Side-Handed-Door can extend approximately 145 degrees from its fully closed position. Hope this helps. . . .

I have the Bose QC 35 Headphones and just received the Jabra Elite 85h Headphones for review. In my opinion the Jabra 85h has the superior Noise Cancelling tech. Jabra uses AI (artificial Intelligence) in its Active Noise Cancelling profiles. It basically analyzes the noise backgrounds you are currently in, and changes your ANC to match your audio environment.
I was out at my pool listening to Pandora when my neighbor started to trim his hedges. My Jabra headphones changed my listening environment within ten seconds so I did NOT hear his noisy clippers. I love this tech. Additionally, the Bose QC 35 should not be in an outside environment, especially a moist one (I live in North Florida - Hot & Humid). Jabra 85h is rainproof and dustproof, and I have no problem taking these headphones outside. In my opinion the Jabra Sound App offers more features and settings then Bose. However, Bose has the superior sound over BT. When I connected a 3.5mm jack from my amp-receiver to each headphone set I could not tell any noticeable difference. Both headphones were able to be manipulated by my amp's EQ and responded accordingly. Bose has the better (HRAs) High Resolution Audio codecs to transmit CD quality music over BT. But, Bose is a lot more expensive too. For the price point, in my opinion, Jabra Elite 85h is less expensive, and features better AI and ANC technology. Both are outstanding over-the-ear earphones.
