The game starts with an interesting premise. Bad guys are going back in time and changing history. You create a character and tackle missions. The problem is, right now, the server seems to be unstable as I've been kicked off too often. Combat is fun at first, but as you get to higher levels, becomes cheap as the computer opponents can do things that you're not allowed. For instance, I can't use my ultimate evade while I'm getting hit, but isn't that the whole point of "ultimate" evade? But, mid combo, my opponents will break my combo and then start unleashing on me. Targeting in combat is wonky, as you're really not supposed to fight more than one person at a time. Whoops, because later missions will have you fighting 3 or usually more people at a time.
That being said, these are the technical negatives. From an overall package, despite the technical issues and flaws, I'm having a really fun time playing through iconic DBZ battles, using super moves from my childhood fave characters.
So in summary, if you like DBZ, this is probably the best DBZ game that's come out in America to date. If you're not a DBZ fan, then the mediocre combat and finnicky online will probably mean you should wait until the price drops.
