Comfortable for all day wear, intuitive app

Seems like tracking biometric data is the new fitness and health trend… and I jumped all in. Several companies have tried the wearables market, but I’ve been really impressed by the Ultrahuman Air. Given it’s a wearable ring, the ring has to fit well and be comfortable enough to keep on consistently in order to maximize your benefits. The sizing process is super simple, you get sent a recyclable box with a sample ring that are clearly labeled in different sizes. There’s also a swatch that has examples of the ring colors.
Once you receive your ring, use the QR code or search for the UltraHuman app, and the app will guide you step by step through pairing. After your ring is connected, just wear it consistently. Period. That’s it. I’ve kept my ring on during CrossFit workouts involving barbell work, kettle bells, and pull ups, and my ring survived. The bottom surface where the ring contacts the bars looks a little shinier and polished due to rubbing on the barbells, but otherwise can’t tell from a distance.
The battery lasts several days, I start getting nervous when any device gets around 25% charge; so me personally I have been charging my ring after 4 days.
The app tracks your sleep cycles, gives you your optimum caffeine intake window, plus the typical metrics like your heart rate, VO2, etc. there’s only one flattened portion on the inside where the sensors are, so you do need to make sure the ring is positioned correctly.

Perfect grill/griddle for a family

Our kitchen is literally full of Ninja appliances, and for good reason. Everything we’ve bought from Ninja has been reliable and well designed. So when I was on the market for a smaller indoor grill, I was happy to see Ninja had their own offering.
Setup, if you can call it that, is as easy as taking the plastic wrap off the optional grill plate. Plug the grill in. Done. The included quick start guide has some tips and suggested settings for those just starting out on their grilling journey, with some starter recipes to help out.
You can use those suggested settings to set low, medium, high temp and get going, but I always prefer to use the custom temp settings so I can dial things in myself. The pans drain into a drip tray that’s literally front and center, which is nice because you don’t have to risk burning your hands trying to reach a tray that’s recessed too deeply under the grill. The overall footprint is relatively flat so it doesn’t take up unnecessary storage space.
Excellent grill with removable plates for easy cleaning. Love it.

Straightforward and effective

The packaging is minimal and effective enough for the purpose. Very clean, simple, cardboard with clearly labeled ring sizes. Reminds me of my tool set and how the wrenches are displayed for easy reach.
Sizes range from 05 to 13, and the instructions explicitly state to try the ring on for a full two days before selecting your final sizing. Makes a lot of sense sense your finger can swell during activity or depending on your diet. The sample rings are a flat black polymer material, which helps approximate what the actual rings will feel like and look like on your hand. Also, the black color is unobtrusive and doesn’t stand out while you are trialing the size out.
After you have selected your size, there is a very convenient QR code to take you to the Best Buy splash page to purchase the actual Ultrahuman Ring AIR. There is an insert with samples of each color/texture option, which also takes the guesswork out of looking at an online image.
Not much else to say about a ring, sizing kit, other than it is very straightforward and clearly laid out

Convenient for travel, loud enough for groups

New upgraded line of Sony speakers, with the ULT 3 being in the middle of the series as far as size goes. The ULT 3 was clearly intended to be taken around, as the casing has built in strap connections for you to attach a shoulder strap. When the strap is not in use/unattached, the attachment points hide away flush into the body of the speaker.
Volume is plenty loud, but if you activate the ULT button the speaker automatically boosts the bass EQ. Battery life is rated for up to 24 hours, but only reaches 5 hours if using at maximum volume output. The speaker itself is rectangular, and can be stood in vertical or horizontal orientation depending on your needs. If you invest into the ULT sound ecosystem, one cool feature is Party Connect mode which daisy chains multiple ULT speakers to create stereo surround sound.
With its form factor, Sony foresaw its use as a beach/pool/camp speaker, and the ULT 3 has a robust
IP67 rating meaning it is dust-tight and can withstand submersion in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes

High quality headphones with versatile connections

The ASUS Delta II wireless headphones are good to go straight out of the box. Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz wireless using the attached dongle. As with most current devices, it uses a USB-C interface which is nice and convenient. RGB lighting and EQ can be managed and customized with the ASUS Armoury app. App was pretty straightforward and not janky like some companies’ options. I don’t want to draw too much attention nor wake up kids when I play, so I keep the RGB lights off. With the lighting off, the headsets are supposed to last 110 hours, although I never torture tested the exact length. I had enough juice to play over a week without ever having to recharge. With the RGB lighting on, battery life is reported to be around 30-35 hours.
Sound quality is good, with passive noise isolation. ASUS proclaims AI processing to help with AI noise canceling, but it’s not true active noise canceling. After seeing the recent news on how long-term use of active noise canceling headphones can actually cause damage, I actually prefer solid, passive noise blocking. However, if you need absolute, quiet and sound, isolation, you will need to look for a different headset, which includes active noise, cancellation.
Overall, I’m a big fan of aces ROG products, and this is another solid offering that keeps the line trustworthy. As long as you don’t need active noise canceling, this headset should check all the boxes.

Great for soccer parents

Such a simple yet effective design. The Coolite fan has a trifold design so it closes up fairly compact for storage or travel. Control buttons are located on the outside of the right side of the fan, with good tactile responses. Power on, and then up and down buttons to increase or decrease the fan strength. There are vents facing up and down along the edges, as well as a small vent pointing down the back of the unit. One tip is to remember to fold the right arm in first, as this will allow the left arm to close over the right arm, protecting the power button from accidentally being pressed while in your bag. One design change I would like is for the rear back vent to be a little bigger to blow air down the back of your shirt. However, the arm vents are fairly strong and made sitting out in the direct sun watching my kids soccer practices, much more bearable in the heat.
No frills, just a very simple and effective compact neck fan that works well. Battery life easily lasted several hours of soccer practice and games before having to charge. Charging is easy with a nice USB C input.

Easy to install, quick to cool

Everything you need is included. The box is conveniently designed to just separate, making it easy to remove the actual A/C unit out, which is welcome for people with bad backs.
Connect the duct to the slot and window attachment by screwing the pieces onto each end, and then the click into the window panel. The included window installation piece was plenty wide to bridge our double sized window, but either way, the window we wanted to install the AC was a single pane corner window. I did have to cut excess panel off, but that was easily done. After you’ve sized the window panel, there is included weather sealing foam to improve the seal.
Once installed, hit the power button and done. Our home AC unit malfunctioned, turning our home in south Texas into a big oven. We installed this in our master bedroom and the room cooled down within 10 minutes from 82 degrees to 72. Rolling wheels make moving the unit around rooms or into storage a breeze.
The vents automatically close when you turn the unit off, which probably helps with protecting the internals. Mainly in our house, it prevented my kids from accidentally dropping stuff into the AC while we had the unit off.
Very easy install for someone who doesn’t do much handy work, and worked really well in south Texas.

decent spec productivity laptop

i7 with a respectable 16 gb of RAM, which is important given the Iris Xe integrated graphics. Xe is much better than previous integrated graphics, but all integrated graphics processors borrow memory (hence the "integrated") unlike a dedicated GPU, so your RAM is your big limiting step.
Ports: USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, and power jack
This is my one and major gripe about this HP laptop. For a laptop with these specs on paper, 15.6" screen, i7 CPU, 16GB RAM, and 512 GB SSD - this is a slam dunk for a solid productivity laptop, especially with the full size HDMI port. But then, they made the USB-C data transfer only, meaning you can't charge the laptop via the USB-C. In 2025, this makes no sense to me, as every device manufacturer has been consolidating their ports.

Touchscreen matters to some, not to me at all. The OCD in me cringes every time I think about tapping on my screen, and I would personally be wiping off the screen repetitively. But for creative types, or even for simple touch features akin to phones (zoom in/out), touchscreen is a nice quality of life upgrade from using the touchpad.
Battery life is mid, lasting me only about 5 hours using light video play and mostly Word and Excel use unplugged. I get the form factor is slim, limiting the battery capacity, but again, no dedicated GPU so it was a bit disappointing to me.
Overall thoughts: very solid specs for a productivity use laptop, and pleasant surprise that the Iris Xe graphics can handle most of my Steam library. Not being able to use my USB-C cable to charge this laptop and limit the amount of extra stuff I need to carry in my bag was disappointing but not a dealbreaker for me. Worth it for the price

Passthrough charging and 6’ drop protection

What’s the iPhone battery life being what it is, I used to get a juice pack for every iPhone since the iPhone 4.
The downside to the juice packs back, then was the cases would add significant bulk to the back due to the battery pack. With the much increased screen surface area, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the battery can be distributed over larger area, allowing for custom case overall. Impressively, the new cheese pack offers 6 feet of drop protection. The overall installation design are pretty in line and recognizable if you’ve ever used any prior versions of the Mophie Juice Pack. The top of the case slides off, and you insert your iPhone, which connects to a female USB at the bottom. Then reattach the top portion of the case to close it back. Very simple, but if you’ve never used a juice pack before it may not be so clear. There’s an included QR code to retrieve installation and user instructions. Once the phone is installed, using the battery pack is a breeze. The Pak remains off until your phone battery reaches below 10%. Once you hit that point, push the button on the back of the case and your battery pack will begin charging your phone. You can continue to use your phone as normal. You can charge your phone with the case installed thanks to passthrough charging. Your phone will be prioritized first, and then the case will charge so you don’t have to worry about a dead phone battery while charging.

so convenient and more than the paper description

I'll start by saying that on paper, and at first glance, the Ninja Crispi seems unnecessary and almost dumb. After using it once though, I completely changed my mind.
The Crispi comes with 2 different *dishwasher safe* glass containers (6 cup and 4 qt) that have attached heat-safe "feet." Theoretically, the non-removable nature of the heat-safe feet could create some issues with cleaning, but I have not had any issues so far. The glass is PFAS free, and the heating surfaces of the PowerPod cooking unit are ceramic to be non-toxic. In typical Ninja ingeniousness, the pieces all nest together, so it takes up very little storage space in our cabinet. The glass cooking containers come with lids to go directly into storage.
With the size and design of the unit, there's no preheating period necessary. Literally set the pod on, choose your cooking setting, and boom! Done. Take the PowerPod off, carry the glass container to the table, and begin eating. Don't need to find a placemat or pad to protect the granite countertop since the cooking containers have heatproof feet already. So so convenient. If I have any food left over, then I pop the lid on, and into the fridge it goes.
For people chasing macros and trying to reduce food waste, this is truly a gamechanger. I already own a different Ninja air fryer, and I still use this thing so frequently. The only time I really opt for using my dedicated air fryer is if we're having guests over and I need to cook more than usual.
