Curvature of the soundbar fits perfectly with the curve of my 8500, making for a seamless entertainment unit. If aesthetics aren't a necessity, then the straight soundbars will offer more bang for your buck. Set-up was easy. Sound can get loud enough to let neighbors two units down hear the conversations on my TV, but the subwoofer is mild, to put it bluntly. The bass will be enough to enhance your TV's screen, but don't expect any chest-thumping bass hits while watching a scary movie.
Overall, slightly higher priced than its non-curved counterpart, but otherwise a worthwhile soundbar that is easy to set up and equally easy to use.

I initially thought curved screens for large surface areas (i.e. not computer monitor size) was a gimmick, and after using this TV for several weeks, I'm not fully convinced I was wrong.
To be fair, the curve provides images which seem more "natural" to the eye, increasing immersion and the illusion that what's going on on-screen is actually happening in front of you. The downside is the curve is only effective for a very narrow cone at the center.
For a TV of this size (65 in.), that may be a dealbreaker for some, as people sitting off to the side will get glare or poor image visibility. However, for my uses, it's perfect, as I don't plan on sharing my screen unless my wife forces the remote out of my cold, dead, hands (only partially kidding - honey, if you're reading this, I'm totally kidding)
The on-board speakers are decent despite the miraculously thin screen, and the bezel is nigh invisible.
One point of contention for me is that unlike previous year models of Samsung TV's, the 8500 has an illuminated Samsung logo at the bottom of the screen which can be distracting. I've read in other reviews where people have resorted to using masking tape, but I'm not about to put adhesive on this baby.
Image quality is great, HDR works fine when I can find a dedicated 4K program.
All in all, well worth it to me, but YMMV. If you tend to entertain large groups, then get a flat screen. If you can fit your crowds to a loveseat, then this TV will blow you away.

I love the Disney Infinity aesthetic, but to each his own. Loki is a nice physical addition to the collection, but in game he's just not as fun to play compared to others like Thor or Iron-Man. His flight capability requires multiple levels to unlock, and even then is only hovering. Unlike Thor or IronMan, his flight can't be sped up, which means your movement speed is the same as simply running on the ground. Attackwise his ranged attacks are much more useful, but his ultimate move creates a doppelganger while cloaking you. Again, not very interesting as the doppelganger doesn't actually draw enemies' attention until you pump more points into skilling it up.

It's an amiibo. It's the original 8-bit Mario. This far into the Amiibo game, either you're in or you're out. I'm not going for 100%, I only want characters with sentimental value or the ones I main in Smash. Super Mario Bros was the very first video game I played, so it was a no brainer for me.

As you've probably read, there are no spoilers in this expansion if for some reason you're one of the handful of people who still haven't seen TFA. This game just highlights one of the biggest gripes against the new movie, which is, a lot of things seem recycled from Episode 4. Sure you've got new characters, but the locations and missions are all almost identical to Episode 4. In spite of that, my wife and I both enjoy playing, even though my wife isn't a gamer. Any game my wife can get into, I'm 100% all for it, and if I can pick up sweet Star Wars figures while I'm at it, well definitely count me in.

Yoda, the pint-sized Jedi grandmaster of them all. Hilariously, my wife complains that his POV is too narrow because even in the game, he's super short. But, in the game, he's so much fun. His ultimate power is a throwback to the acrobatic fighting style shown in Ep 1-3, so he bounces back and forth between enemies. He doesn't have a blaster like Luke for his ranged attack, instead, he does a force dash which allows you to close the gap and unleash a quick combo. I enjoy playing with Yoda a lot, even though they completely left him out of story scenes in the Rise Against the Empire expansion.

To get this out there, this is not a faithful recreation of the original trilogy. The three movies were condensed into 3 planets, and lots of story points were changed to include Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie. Big locales are present and bring back some of the nostalgia, but overall, this is still an Infinity expansion. Despite all that, I still found myself having lots of fun. The X-wing missions are there, flying the Falcon is there, and of course, lots of combat. As long as you're not looking for a 1:1 accurate recreation of the original trilogy, I'm sure you'll enjoy this expansion as much as I did.

I've been playing video games since I was a child, but my wife definitely is not a gamer. Super smash bros, while tons of fun for me, is too chaotic for her. That being said, we can play Infinity together and both have a good time. Toy Box takeover adds a story-based expansion where you have to retrieve Merlin's wand from the bad guys. You can use any and all figures from Disney 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0, meaning I can have Thor and Yoda fighting side by side. Great fun.

build quality is on par for other infinity figures, which is to say, excellent. Personally, I really enjoy the Disney Infinity aesthetic. In-game, Thor can throw his hammer for ranged, and swing his hammer for melee. Thor can also fly, which is much more enjoyable than running around in the toy box in my opinion.
Kojima Productions ushers in a new era for the Metal Gear Solid V franchise with its newest chapter ~ Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ~ which is set nine years after the fall of Mother Base and the other events in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. If you've never played a Metal Gear game, be prepared to be utterly confused by the conspiracy talk online, or even the storyline of the game. Of all the games so far, MGS V is actually the most accessible in terms of gameplay. New gamer? Stealth too hard because you have no patience? No problem, as Kojima programmed an in-game "easy mode" via the chicken hat that triggers only after you've failed a mission repeatedly, letting you progress without making the game entirely too easy.
The fox engine makes lighting look amazingly photorealistic, and the controls are super tight as to be expected from a metal gear game. Unlike previous metal gear games, V is open-world, so it's more in line with the current trend of game design. You have more freedom to approach objectives however you like.
All in all, I'd recommend any metal gear fan get this because it's most likely Kojima's (and possibly the series') final entry. If you're a metal gear newbie, the convoluted nature of the metal gear lore can be jarring. However, even metal gear solid vets find the stories crazy and outlandish, so that may not be as big of a deterrent.
