Easy to use, great recipe community, app control
on May 1, 2023
Posted by: BIGASN
Very happy to add the Anova Precision Cooker 3.0 to my kitchen! I’m new to sous vide cooking, but do a lot of grilling, smoking, and general cooking. It’s a bit of an odd way to cook, but the temperature and moisture control benefits are astounding and I needed a lot less than I thought to get started. Outside of the precision cooker itself, I just needed a big pot and ziploc freezer bags, which I already have in my kitchen. Setup is a breeze. Simply clamp the cooker to your pot, fill the pot with water above the minimum marker on the cooker, plug it in, and you’re ready to go. There’s seemingly no on/off switch, but you can pause cooking which I guess is the same thing. You don’t need to use the app, but it makes it easy to control and check the status of the cooker remotely, and there’s a genuinely great community cooking recipe platform available. The only hiccup I’ve had with the app is that it sometimes will not connect. However, I think if I turn the app on first and then plug the cooker in, it’ll successfully connect more often.
Cooking with the Precision Cooker 3.0 is super easy. The app makes it easy to control, but the best part about it is that it doubles as a community cookbook. Users create and share sous vide recipes and include the time and temperature they used for the cook. There’s some goldmines in there, but as I learned with eggs, your experiences will vary. It took a failure with eggs for me to understand the difference in cooking sous vide, but I followed it up with some of the best asparagus and pork tenderloin I’ve ever made. And it was easy too. All I did with the asparagus was clean it and add a little pat of salted butter. In a sealed bag, it’s basically poaching the asparagus in butter and its own juices. Delicious. Same for the pork tenderloin, but I quickly learned another wonderful, and less talked about benefit of sous vide cooking. I started with the tenderloin moistly frozen. All I did was lightly season the outside, put it in the ziploc with garlic, onions, and butter, then set it to 140 degrees and let it do its thing for about 4 hours. After a quick sear on the pan, it was arguably the best and easiest pork tenderloin I’ve ever made. By dialing in the temperature and having a sealed bag, it helps ensure you don’t overcook your food and all the moisture and juices get re-infused with what you’re cooking. It creates an extremely wide margin of error for cooking and it’s honestly incredible how easy it is to make some great dishes. I literally threw a frozen piece of pork in a bag with some veggies, played video games for 4 hours, and then spent 5 minutes searing up the best pork tenderloin ever. If you’re on the fence about trying sous vide, do it!
PROS
- Changes temp quickly
- Nearly silent
- Easy to setup and use
- Well built
- Wifi / bluetooth enabled
- Community recipes in app
- Delicious food
- Removable stainless steel skirt for easier cleaning
CONS
- No case
- Sometimes app doesn’t recognize machine
- No alarm when cook timer is finished
- Long cook times

Great sound, all day battery life, easy to setup
on April 23, 2023

A high quality ANC headset from Turtle Beach that’s built for more than gaming. It seems like this is where the market is going with high end gaming headsets, which is a welcome trend considering the high price point. Not only do you get an outstanding set of Active Noise Reduction gaming headphones, but also a solid headset for live streaming, music, and movies. Setup on the PS5 was as easy as plugging the USB transmitter into the front of the PS5, making sure it was set “PS”, setting the app to “Game” and then connecting the Bluetooth. No firmware update was required out-the-box, but it’s always good to check when starting out. Out of the box it already sounds great, but you can easily tailor the sound to your liking with the EQ and advanced sound settings that are built into the app. Switching the headset to other devices was very easy as well.

SOUND / MIC
Game sound is amazing. Nice frequency range and soundstage. For first-person shooters, I felt I could better determine where other players were on the map by hearing their footsteps. Imaging felt accurate and I had no trouble figuring out if I had someone coming from the left, right, or behind me. The “Superhuman Hearing” mode actually helps. Other players' voices sound okay. The volume wheel on the R headphone does a good job of adjusting volume on the fly. It’s not very precise but works in a pinch. Connecting to a PS5 or PC requires a USB connection for the battery charger/transmitter, but there’s a bluetooth connection available for connecting your phone for music or taking calls. This way you can game without worrying about missing any important calls and it makes it easy to provide your own soundtrack. Spotify integration works well. It’s easy to balance the game sound and music through the app. When recording gameplay the boom mic is highly recommended, because it sounds more clear and professional when talking. There’s actually 2 sets of microphones that come with this headset. There’s a set of stealth microphones that are built into the headphones and work well in everyday use, but it also comes with a boom microphone that you can plug-in when microphone sound quality is a higher priority. Without the boom mic, my voice did sound a little echoey and tinny, but not enough to be distracting. The boom mic alleviated those issues and made a significant increase in sound quality. It’s also easy to install and use, but I don’t like that I had to turn off the headset when I wanted to remove the boom mic. When I removed the boom mic during gameplay, it did not automatically switch back to the default mic. In any event, either mic setup sounds much better than the one built into the PS5 controller.
COMFORT/DESIGN
Excellent fit and finish. A bit bulky but not too heavy when wearing. High quality materials and comfortable leather padding. The ear cups feel very nice and the leather reminds me of a high-end sofa. The headphones firmly hug my big head, but not overly so where it felt too tight. The longest I wore these in one session was four hours. They do get a little warm, but not unbearably so. Taking them off for a second every other hour or so helped keep things comfortable. The battery life so far has been outstanding. Each battery is rated for 12 hours on a full charge and that actually seems accurate. Even better is that it includes 2 batteries, so there’s essentially no downtime as long as you keep one charging.
Overall, the Stealth Pro is a strong offering from Turtle Beach in the high end ANC gaming headphone market. There’s stiff competition in this range, but the excellent sound, battery life, and ease of use should make the Stealth Pro a strong contender. They’re great for gaming, casual multimedia use, live streaming, and look great doing so.
PROS
- Switching between devices is a breeze. Adding it to my Switch, Android, or Macbook was as easy as setting it up on the PS5
- Nice carrying case comes in handy
- Active Noise Cancellation works very well. Reduces the ambient noise, but I can still hear when someone calls my name
- 12 hours of battery life. I’ve been using these headphones for about 8 hours and the voice that tells you the battery level still says it is “high”.
- Very well built. Headphones are very sturdy, excellent fit and finish with quality materials. I don’t feel like any of the parts will easily come off or break
- Boom mic automatically mutes when adjusted to the vertical position
- Can reconfigure the volume wheel to perform secondary functions
- “Superhuman hearing” mode seems to actually help. Love that it’s a single button to switch on/off and it doubles as a mute button when held.
- Comes with a nice storage bag/carrying case.
- Bag has a nice inside pouch, probably for charging cables, but snacks fit too.
- Auto shut-off to 5, 10, 20 or 30 (default) minutes
CONS
- A bit bulky, but not overly heavy
- The headphones start to get warm about an hour after wearing, but the heat plateaus and I never really felt overheated. Just took them off briefly to let my ears breathe.
- I wish the headphones would auto shut-off when my PS5 goes into Rest Mode or is turned off. You can set auto shut-off to 5, 10, 20 or 30 minutes though
- Must power off headphones when removing the boom mic.
- Limited range of motion on the boom mic attachment. I like being able to rotate it all the way around
- Took a few minutes to realize the volume knob was an actual hidden knob to rotate and not touch sensitive (user error)
- At the price point I’d hope it would come with a stand where I could keep it when I’m not using it, but maybe I’m just cheap

The 4th generation Motion XT Series ushers in a new era of design and aesthetics for MartinLogan. The three modern, yet timeless, colorways can compliment any room while being a focal point if so desired. Motion XT evokes a unique look and sound, pairing high-performance woofers with exclusive Folded Motion Tweeter technology, a staple of MartinLogan products. The Motion Waveguide enhances the Controlled Dispersion of the Gen2 Folded Motion XT Tweeter to a high precision 45°(Vertical) by 90°(Horizontal) to accommodate a wide range of seating while reducing performance robbing floor and ceiling reflections within the environment.

Beautiful full range sound, no sub needed.
on March 7, 2023
Posted by: BIGASN
The XTF200 sits at the top of Martin Logan’s Motion XT speaker series with three 8” bass drivers setting it apart from the rest. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised with how strong and low they can go, but it’s been a while since I encountered speakers that truly did not need a subwoofer. The thunderous basslines in The Weeknd’s “Starboy” was an eye opening experience, as was the clarity and soulful tone in Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey”. As LR speakers in a home theater setup, they blend in exceptionally well as part of a 7.1 surround setup, offering balanced, lifelike sound with a wide soundstage. It’s hard to find much fault with these speakers outside of being large and heavy, but keep in mind that they’re rated at 4 ohms, so be sure your amp or AVR can handle them before connecting. They’re absolutely terrific in true 2 speaker stereo mode for music, and make an outstanding front stage in a home theater setup. If these are within your realm, I highly recommend them. The build quality and sound are all top notch. There’s a kind of Rolls Royce aura to these speakers, and I love it.
SOUND
Outstanding full range, with a wide and detailed sound stage. You can tell by the three 8” woofers that the XTF200 speakers are serious about bass and they absolutely deliver. Not only is the bass melodic, but in tracks like “Starboy” and “Pray for Me” by the Weeknd, the bass is downright thunderous. I honestly was not expecting that, and those tracks alone demonstrated to me how much these speakers do not need a sub. But bass can be easy. The inarguable star of the show is the gen2 XT folded motion tweeter. It produces sound by essentially squeezing air like an accordian, which is supposed to help smoothen out the high notes while offering a wide dispersion of sound. And it works. The clarity and detail are outstanding, with a wide soundstage reminiscent of horns, but slightly more focused. I went through a diverse library of music in true stereo mode (no sub) and almost kind of fell in love with music again. Everything from Wu-Tang, DPG, Kendrick, Chris Stapleton, Prince, Michael Jackson, Metallica, Ariana Grande, John Fogerty, B.B. King, to Beethovan. No matter what I threw at it, the XTF200’s did not miss a beat, while keeping an impressive level of detail and clarity at even obnoxiously loud levels. Guitars have a certain lifelike detail that’s almost surreal with the soundstage these speakers offer. Which also helps make them great LR speakers in a home theater setup. I have these paired with a Definitive Technology CLR2300 center speaker in a 7.1 surround setup, and they blend in seamlessly together while offering an impressively powerful front soundstage. Beware that these are 4 ohm speakers, so check your amp or AVR’s minimum ohm rating beforehand.

DESIGN
While fairly large tower speakers, the XTF200 balances out their physical presence with an elegant and slightly understated design. The main body is gloss black which transitions to a matte black finish at the front of the speakers. Each driver is outlined with an individual grill that lifts off and magically press fits back in place. Three 8” bass drivers line up from the bottom, leading to a 6.5” midrange and is topped off by a flaring that draws out from the elegant gen2 Folded Motion XT tweeter. It’s almost a little too simple, but finishing touches like the gorgeous adjustable feet and jewel-like speaker posts offer hints that these speakers are on another level. I can’t believe I’m about to write about speaker feet, but there’s 2 genuine bits of engineering here. 1 is the obvious rubber bottom to dampen vibrations on hard flooring. The second is how you adjust the height of the feet by turning the body like a knob from the top. It’s a ton easier to adjust than the conventional bottom design, plus it’s a lot safer, considering these speakers are almost 100 lbs each! Which reminds me, bring another person to help you move, unbox, and set them up. These speakers are very heavy, which is great for sound, but a pain to move. Thankfully, they sound so good, they won’t be moving any time soon.
PROS
- Outstanding presence and sound quality
- Smooth vocals and highs
- Deep bass extension
- True full range speakers
- Can play extremely loud before losing detail
- XT tweeter offers a wide and detailed sound stage
- Subwoofer not needed (though always helps)
- Plays all genres of music well
- Excellent front stage for home theater
- Blends well with other speakers in 7.1 surround setup
- Beautiful fit and finish
- Feet are easy to adjust and look fantastic
- Bi-ampable
CONS
- Big and tall
- Heavy
- 4 ohm (check the min. load your amp can handle)

Smart, powerful dental care in an elegant package.
on November 19, 2022
Posted by: BIGASN
Elegant and powerful, the Sonicare 9000 offers a luxurious touch to fine dental hygiene. I’ve used several electric toothbrushes over the past decade+ and keep going back to Sonicare because they consistently provide the best mouth clean feeling with outstanding build quality. The 9000 lives up to that reputation, offering a waterproof body, 4 cleaning modes (clean, white, gum health, deep clean), 3 levels of intensity, a pressure sensor, brush pacer, and 14 days of battery life. It even connects to the Sonicare app which can automatically track your brushing pressure, habits, and length between brush head changes. The app is easy to connect to and pretty useful if you want to create good brushing habits for yourself and family. I’m not sure what the difference is with the special edition, but the somewhat bluish teal body looks great and the gold ring on top offers a touch of luxury. The charging base is also nicer than previous models I’ve used, with a round body and translucent top cap for the brush base to nestle in. It doesn’t offer the poles to store additional brush heads, but I never used those anyway. The case is gloss black and well made. It’s similar to the case of my old Sonicare brush, but slimmed down significantly. The old case was convenient to put in your luggage, but this new one is convenient enough for your glovebox.
Using the brush is simple with one button for start/stop and the other to cycle through brush modes. The body is motion activated and picking it up will illuminate hidden writing that highlights what brush modes are available, brush intensity, and battery level. How the light gently fades in and out is a little detail that I admire, because it helps build around an overall theme of high quality and luxury. The pressure sensor is a nice safety touch, because it will notify you if you’re pressing too hard on your teeth and gums. If you’re used to counting or watching a clock to ensure you’re getting a full 2+ minutes cleaning session, you’ll love the brush pacer which will pulse every 30 seconds to let you know when to switch sections. It makes brushing a thoughtless exercise, which now enables me to do other thoughtless exercises while I brush like scrolling through Twitter.
If you’re in the market for a high end and luxurious looking electric toothbrush, you cannot go wrong with the Sonicare 9000 Special Edition. It offers proven results in an elegant body and an outstanding clean mouth feel. Highly recommended.

Capturing moments is important. But, it’s also not always easy. Being the family photographer often requires you to pause the moment, asking everybody to pose, making sure everyone is in the frame, and even if all that goes well the person behind the camera doesn’t get to be in the picture. Canon PICK changes all this and more. By ensuring that you record experiences as they happen organically, genuinely. No posing, no pausing—just candid memories that can last forever.PICK's unique algorithm has been years in the making, with a dedicated app to get the image just right. It will automatically* search for faces and smiles while adjusting the composition of the frame with its Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) mechanism. The camera captures and records moments while you’re enjoying them and you don’t have to do anything, no timers, no clicking, no posing—just living in the moment.

Great when it works. Needs software update.
on November 19, 2022
Posted by: BIGASN
A great concept that needs more work. I love the idea behind the Canon Pick Active, because I think candid photographs are the best and it’s nice to be in some pictures as I’m usually the photographer. The Pick Active is a tiny pan/tilt/zoom camera that rotates a full 360 degrees and can automatically identify and track up to 12 “registered” people at a time. The idea is that you place it in your desired vantage point and it will automatically snap photos and record video as if it was your own Ai photography assistant. It’s small and stable enough to put on most level surfaces, but there’s a threaded tripod mount on the bottom if you need a more specific angle. In typical Canon fashion, the fit and finish is excellent and it’s remarkable how small the camera is. The pictures made it seem like it was the size of a 12oz soda can, but it’s actually even smaller than a mini soda. This makes it easy to carry and less conspicuous for the best candid photos. The size and build quality are all excellent, which gave me high hopes about what this little Pick Active camera could do. It’s a Canon, after all…
The picture quality is about on par with a compact snapshot camera. They reminded me of shots from my old PowerShot SD1100IS, which was no slouch either. It does a good job in bright settings, but it’s the low light where this camera struggles. In darker settings, the photos have less grain than my old SD1100, but it’s the person tracking, focusing, and auto-shooting that have a hard time keeping up. Even in a room with moderate ambient light, it had a hard time recognizing people and recording them. I had about 3 people over to watch a UFC fight and it was only able to “register” one person. Mind you, as far as I can tell, the software seems to take photos of people it wants to register automatically, so while I can pick who among the list I want it to focus on, I still have to wait for the camera to find and take a photo of the person before I can do so. I even tried to do a manual shot of a person to see if it would add them to the list, but it didn’t, so I’m not sure what the trick is yet.
Speaking of which, you’ll need to download the Canon MiniPTZ app to use the camera. It’s free for Android and iOS, so no worries there. However, I’d gladly pay if it would help the app work better. The user interface is fairly straightforward, but it frequently disconnects from the camera after about 10 minutes or so. What’s an even bigger issue is the lag time between the app and the camera. Trying to pan, tilt, or zoom manually is extremely hard to get right, because there’s about a full second of lag between the controls. I found it a little easier with the digital joystick, but the lag causes you to guess where the camera will stop versus seeing it quickly and accurately. A lot of missed photos from this, which makes the manual mode essentially useless. So far, I find the best way to use the Pick Active is in auto-shoot mode, even though that is highly flawed as well (person identifying and tracking). Battery life is a reported 3.5 hours, which seems on point, but I think it sometimes shuts down when it disconnects from the app, so I haven’t gotten an accurate gauge of it yet. Photo and video storage comes via a micro SD slot with a 16GB card included.
All that said, when the Pick Active does work properly, it’s pretty awesome. I love reviewing what photos and videos it’s taken at the end of the day and thankfully the app makes them easy to download. As it stands now, I can’t recommend the camera for most people, unless they don’t mind taking chances on something new and hoping a firmware or software update alleviates the issues. I love the concept of the Canon Pick Active and the hardware itself is great, but the software leaves a lot to be desired.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent sound, strong bass, amazing battery life
on November 19, 2022
Posted by: BIGASN
I love these headphones. They’re not perfect, but the sound and build quality are outstanding, with all-day battery life, comfort, and excellent looks to boot. I honestly wasn’t expecting headphones of this high quality from Adidas, but I guess the RPT-02 SOL is a bit of a statement piece for sports, sound, and sustainability. The Powerfoyle solar charging tech works well with a solar panel integrated into the headband that slowly, yet surely will recharge your battery, even with artificial indoor light. Using the Action button will activate a hidden light that will show how strong the light source is for charging, but connecting to the Adidas Headphones app offers more details such as live recharge and discharge rates. Solar charging is almost always going to be slow, but I have yet to ever plug these in to charge them. They came with a 30% charge, and all I’ve done to recharge them is leave them by the window when I’m not using them. So far it stays at about a 40% charge, which is awesome, because again, I’ve never plugged these in. I use them for a couple hours a day and whatever power drain occurs usually seems to recover by the next day. I think I’ll plug it in once to finally give the battery a 100% charge, but the solar tech really works and it’s pretty cool to have a set of wireless headphones that you genuinely don’t ever have to plug in.
The sound quality is loud and clear with surprisingly strong low end bass. By default, I think they’re a little bass heavy, but they respond well to EQ tuning in the Adidas Headphones app. The app offers a few preset EQ settings including a 5 band user customizable one, and also lets you customize the Action button, but it only gives you a few options and none of them I find practical. I wish it would let me program it to cycle through EQ settings, but hopefully they enable that in a future software update. For sound quality heads, you’ll be happy to see that the higher fidelity aptX bluetooth connection is available. Overall, the sound is excellent with clear and natural sounding vocals, good imaging, and strong low end bass. However, while the bass is strong, it’s not as melodic as I’d like, with the low end bass notes seemingly overpowering the mids at times. Maybe I need to fiddle with the EQ more, but don’t get me wrong, this is just picking it apart from sound perfection. They sound great and most anyone would love them.
I also want to remark on how well built the RPT-02 SOL headphones are. The materials are fine yet rugged, I love the mix of resin and cloth, and I appreciate the fine details such as left and right being printed on the wires. I do wonder how the cloth will hold up in the long run, but it seems like the same Adidas Primeknit fabric that they use for their shoes, so it should hold up well. All of the materials feel high quality, and despite not being the lightest headphones, they stay planted on the head well and are comfortable to get lost in for hours. Adidas markets these as “sport” headphones, but I’m not sure I’d wear them for anything more aggressive than walking and jogging. For more practical day to day wearing though, these are perfect.
Overall, if you’re looking for high end on-the-ear headphones with strong bass that you might never have to charge, I highly recommend the Adidas RPT-02. They look great, sound great, and the solar tech makes it an excellent conversation piece. Highly recommended!
PROS
- Excellent sound quality
- Strong bass
- aptX bluetooth connection
- Amazing battery life
- All day comfort
- Well built
- Great looks
- Powered by the sun!
- Stays on head well
- Responds to EQ adjustments well
CONS
- Strong bass, but low end can overpower midbass at times.
- Action button has limited customization options

Macbook Pro alternative that's better at gaming
on November 9, 2022
Posted by: BIGASN
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus 14” is an absolutely outstanding laptop, and one of the few gaming laptops that’s light and compact enough to truly be portable. In a compact 14” body that’s about ¾” thick and less than 4 lbs, this laptop contains the new and powerful AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS CPU mated to an AMD Radeon RX6800S GPU with 16GB ram and a 1 TB PCI-E hard drive (NVME). Attached to it is a lovely 2K anti-glare display with 500 nits of brightness running at a 120hz refresh rate. It’s not a touch screen, but it’s bright, sharp, and Dolby Vision HDR compatible. From a speed and specs standpoint, this laptop is top of the line, but what’s most impressive is how thin and practical they’ve made it. Usually, powerful gaming laptops are big and thick bodies that are more portable gaming machines than something practical to carry around all day. This bucks that trend. Not only can the Zephyrus 14 smoothly run Forza 5 at 2560x1600 @120fps, but it does it in a body that’s convenient enough to bring to the office, class, and carry around like any other laptop. It’s a solid Macbook Pro PC alternative, but much, much better at gaming.
As a high end gaming laptop, I wanted to put it through some paces. I initially tried Cyberpunk 2077 with Ultra graphics @ 2560x1600 and ray tracing, but that was a big failure (4fps). However, most machines can barely handle that setting, so I toned it down to 1080p with the Low Ray Tracing preset and was ecstatic to see how smoothly it ran. There were a few glitchy moments (that might be game related), but it maintained 117 FPS throughout the whole session, which is outstanding. I then tried Forza 5 Horizon at 2k and was surprised to see it running so smoothly at 120 FPS. Same goes for Deathloop. Elden Ring also ran smooth at 120 FPS, but I had to drop the resolution to 1080P. Not too shabby. Most people game at 1080P for the performance advantage and I would still do the same here, even with the 2k screen. It really depends on the game though. In general, I think it’s best to game in 1080P and watch movies in 2k. But the fact that it can smoothly run games at 2k resolution and 120 FPS is incredible. The screen is a delight as well. It’s sharp, bright, has excellent color rendition, and is Dolby Vision HDR capable. The Zephyrus 14 is not only an excellent gaming laptop, but also makes for a formidable multimedia machine. And I need to mention the sound. The internal speakers are surprisingly loud and clear with excellent imaging. There’s no particular sound technology that’s featured, but it blows average laptop speakers out of the water and I rarely felt like I needed my headphones.
However, there’s plenty of ports to connect peripherals to it. The left side features the AC charging port, an HDMI output, USB-C input, and headphone jack, while the right side features another USB-C port, 2 USB-A ports, and a little slot that I think is a Micro SD card reader, but I haven’t confirmed that yet. The power port is in a weird place, right in the middle of the side of the body. It doesn’t cover any ports, but I prefer it being at the back end of the laptop body, though it doesn’t really matter or affect performance. The body itself looks like a work of art in some places and there’s an interesting dot pattern on the laptop cover. The rear fan vents have a cool grill pattern with a chrome Zephyrus logo and hidden status lights behind it. The bottom of the body has a vented metal plate section that looks cool, but gets really, really hot when running in Turbo mode. The trackpad is large and responsive, confidently giving good feedback with every touch. The back-lit keyboard is nicely spaced out with quiet keys that register each press well. The dedicated Armoury Crate button is clutch as it enables you to quickly make performance and display changes and move on with what you’re doing.
Overall, if you’re looking for a do-it-all laptop that’s not only good for serious gaming, but also works well for 4k video editing, Adobe CS, and is portable enough to carry around to class and meetings all day, this is the one for one for you. It’s beautiful, lightweight, powerful, and should be future proof for quite a good while. Great job Asus!

Convenient, lightweight, easy to use. Love it.

This has quickly become my favorite and most used vacuum in the house. It’s light, easy to maneuver, and being cordless makes it easy to grab and use in a pinch. I was initially concerned about the 29 minute battery life, but as a secondary vacuum it holds up to most of my cleaning tasks. I mostly use it for quick clean ups of any dust, hair, or messes I see around the house, and it also works great as a car vacuum. The extension tube gives it enough reach to hit most ceilings and the lightweight body makes it easy to carry and angle anywhere. The suction power isn’t bad, but it’s much better in MAX mode. I really wish the MAX mode didn’t drop the run time to 9 minutes, but I generally don’t need it that high anyway. There’s going to be compromises for a wireless battery operated vacuum and I think Tineco has found a good balance between power, longevity, and weight. It’s that balance that has made the 10S so useful and why it has quickly become my go-to vacuum. Quick pet and hair clean ups, dust bunnies, dry food spills, kitty litter, stairs, cleaning between couch cushions, kitchen crumbs, the 10S makes quick work of it all and it’s back on the charger for the next spot duty clean. I do wish a full charge was faster than 3-4 hours, but it hasn’t become an issue the way I use it. What is kind of annoying is the half second delay between pulling the trigger and the vacuum to start running. It doesn’t affect performance in any way, and it’s not like I’m vacuuming a moving target that needs precision timing, it’s just a personal annoyance that I’m nitpicking about. Overall, the PWRHERO 10S is an excellent cordless vacuum that’s lightweight and convenient to use. I wouldn’t recommend a battery operated vacuum as your only primary one, but this makes an outstanding secondary vacuum for quick clean ups, cars, and spot duty. Highly recommended.
PROS
- Cordless
- Lightweight
- Plenty of useful attachments
- Easy to angle and maneuver
- Convenient to grab and use
- Good suction
- Trigger hold switch is convenient
- Attractive design
CONS
- Only 29 minute of run time and 9 minutes at MAX power
- Takes a 3-4 hours to fully charge
- Delay between pulling trigger and turning on

Amazing range, clear vocals, all-day comfort.

Excellent bluetooth headset for video conferencing and general use. It’s lightweight, sounds good, comfortable to wear all-day, and has amazing bluetooth range. In fact, it’s the farthest bluetooth range for a speaker or headset I’ve ever used. I had it connected to my laptop in a sunroom and it stayed connected when I went inside of a room in the house about 60’ and a few walls away. No static, drops, or anything, it was genuinely impressive. Outside of the range, it’s a quality headset all around. The bass isn’t deep or earth shattering, but the audio is loud and clear with excellent vocal clarity. The mic works well, and I love that they incorporated a flip-to-mute mic which discretely hides away when not in use. The only knock I have on it is that the all-gray colorway looks plain to me and the plastic feels a little cheap. The latter might be related to how lightweight the headset feels, which helps make it comfortable to wear for long hours, so it’s a fair trade off. If you’re looking for a good general use bluetooth headset, especially for video conferencing calls, the Logitech Zone Vibe 100 is a great choice.
PROS
- Light
- Clear audio
- Good sound
- Outstanding range
- Hideaway mic
- Very comfortable
- Long battery life
- Comes with bag
CONS
-Feels a little cheap
- Matte gray is plain looking

Fast, compact, stays cool, really cool lights.

Awesome little hard drive. It’s fast, half the size of my cell phone, holds 1 TB, and even has really cool lights that I didn’t realize I’d like. I have it connected to my PC through the USB-C port and it was zippy both moving large files and playing games. I have Borderlands 2 saved to it for Steam and it didn’t lag the game down or get hot. I believe it’s basically a 1TB NVME hard drive in a rugged external case that has really cool, programmable lights. You can even program the light colors and patterns with the supplied app that offers a fair amount of customization. I think more than anything, I was surprised that it was only warm after playing Borderland on it for a few hours. I’ve tried out a few NVME external hard drive cases with my own NVME drive and they all got pretty hot, so the case seems to have a good cooling system. I highly recommend the Black P40 Game Drive both as a gaming and general use external hard drive. It transfers big files quickly, is fast enough to game from, has a rugged case, and is small enough to comfortably fit in your pocket. Get this.

HYPERBOOM rocks a supermassive sound and extreme bass that takes your party into the stratosphere. Its phenomenal dynamic range brings your tracks to life, rendering every sound level in gorgeous detail. The brainy adaptive EQ reads the room—or patio, or rooftop—and automatically customizes the speaker’s sound until it’s utterly perfect for the space. Two Bluetooth, one auxiliary and one optical inputs let you and your friends connect four devices and easily switch between them, so the music never has to stop! With a rechargeable up to 24 hour battery, HYPERBOOM goes all night—and anywhere—from your living room dance-off to the ragin’ roof party.

Does it provide power to whatever is plugged in via the auxiliary input? (e.g. old iPod plugged in with poor battery life)

The Hyperboom has a USB port that's specifically for powering other devices so you should be good!

Can the AW510k keyboard be purchased with Cherry MX Red SILENT switches?

It currently uses the Cherry MX red switches, which I believe by color code are the silent switches.
