Incredible build quality for the price

This laptop feels incredibly well built at this price point. Both light and sturdy at the same time and it looks stunning. The completely milled aluminum body really gives a premium feel compared to the ocean of plastic out there today.
Speed is also fantastic with the SSD - boot time of around 8 seconds from power button press to login screen. Bloatware is also minimal, and being a convertible, windows 8.1 is actually the right choice of OS for this machine. Free upgrade to Windows 10 keeps you future proof for a little while at least.
Battery Life seems to be close to advertised, over 10 hours in power saver mode, but it drops fast if you turn the display brightness up (as in all laptops).

They will cancel noise whether or not they are connected to anything as long as they haven't run out of battery.

Hi, I just read that these headphones should be charged thru a booted computer. Does that mean I can’t use a wall charger for this? I’m a frequent traveler and I don’t always a laptop or pc around. Can I not just plug it in thru a wall adapter?
You can use a wall charger to charge. This is how I charge mine.

Can these headphones work as noise cancelling without having to be connected to the phone (like the Bose)?
Yes, noise cancelling turns on whether or not Bluetooth is connected. It turns on by default when you power on the headphones and there is a button to toggle it on/off.

Let’s say the battery dies and I connect with a wire. Will noise cancelling work? I know Bose QC35 will provide a sound but no noise cancelling on that case. What about Sony?
Noise cancelling requires power, so I would imaging the noise cancelling turns of as well.

Does the quick attention mode turn on when you rest your head against the the side of the airplane or headrest ? If so, can this feature be turned off ?
No, it seems to need your hand (or something conductive - similar to a touch screen).
