This is my second Philips electric shaver. The design of this one is nice with a battery indicator, pop-up trimmer and comfortable rubberized grips. I especially like the simple soft travel pouch that is included with this razor as I primarily use electric shavers when I travel.
The shave itself is comfortable and as close or closer as any other electric shaver I have tried, but still not quite as close a disposable razor.
Clean up is easy, just pop the blades up and rinse under water. Let it dry completely before putting it away.
Great shaver from Philips - easy recommendation.

Overall a great product for those who still need/use a home phone line. One thing to be aware of is that this is not a wifi enabled device, it needs a wired connection for the base station. So in most cases, the base station will need to be near your router.
In my home, I have ethernet jacks in all rooms, so this isn't a big issue for me.
After the initial setup which can take a bit of time to set up the Alexa and Motorola apps on your phone and install updates, everything is up and running smoothly. Your contacts from your cell phone are imported to this Motorola home phone and you can use your voice to call your contacts.
All the other normal Alexa commands seem to work as well, but I haven't tested this extensively yet.
Overall a great product but for a niche audience in a world were home phones are slowly going away.

Setup: Install is as easy as can be for in-ceiling speakers. Cut out template is provided, the grill is magnetic and can be easily removed for painting if desired.
The Speaker: It's big! Biggest in ceiling speaker I have seen, but still fits nicely between the joists in my basement ceiling.
Sound: Big Speaker means big sound! I did a test with no sub-woofer connected, and the bass was still surprisingly good with these speakers. Mids to highs we of course excellent as well. Originally, I was going to use these as Atmos channels, but because the range is so good, I will use these for music speakers in another area of the house using the 2nd zone on my receiver.
Overall, can't go wrong with these. Sonance is a well known brand to pro-installers and I can now see, or should I say hear, why. Great performance for an in-ceiling speaker, better than most discrete speakers out there.

Philips Pasta and Noodle Maker Plus - HR2375/06

This is my first experience with a Pasta maker of any kind, and I can't really think of a way it could be easier to use. Our first test with the machine was wheat pasta using all-purpose flour (since this is all we had on hand), we did a Penne Noodle. The manual recommends semolina flour for the best consistency and texture and we'll try that next time.
The first few noodles that came out of the machine were split on one side, but after a minute or so, the rest of the noodles were fine.
A whole 500g batch of pasta took about 15 minutes total with very little wasted dough.
Clean up is pretty easy too. There are a lot of components, but everything washes easily by hand. Most components are supposed to be dishwasher safe, but I wouldn't put the mixing chamber in there.
Anyways, don't think we'll go back to boxed pasta, this tastes much better!

A long time coming, but finally Bose has a Speaker with both Alexa Google assistant built-in, and it is portable to boot.
Sound Quality
Bose's core competency has always been big high quality sound from a small package, and this speaker is no exception. Great Bass along with great performance in all other areas too.

Similar to the previous line of Bose revolve speakers. The cylindrical design is simple and minimalist, doesn't really make any kind of statement at all, but it isn't an eyesore either. The design allows for 360 degrees of sound, so even if placed in the center of a room, you will good sound everywhere. Also, this speaker is portable and water resistant with upto 12 hours of battery life (not tested yet). I plan on using this as a bathroom/shower speaker at home and will cart it along to parks beaches when I can.

Easy to Setup and works with Google and Alexa

As usual, Belkin Smart switches are easy to install and set up. They work flawlessly with both Alexa and Google Home. As with most smart switches, you need to make sure you have a neutral in the switch box before attempting to install these. The toughest part of installation is getting all the wires and wire nuts back into the switch box after you wire it all up. But this seems to be a common issue with every smart switch I've installed across a number of vendors.
Great thing about this 2-pack is that each 3-way circuit only needs 1 switch, so you can make 2, 3-way circuits smart with this 2-pack.
Physical appearance of the switch is also very clean and sharp and will most likely look much nicer than the switch your are replacing.
Overall a great product and a great value since you can upgrade 2 circuits.

Small enough to place on your desktop (in the corner) and 4 backed up ports is great to keep a PC, monitor, and a couple more things on for more than long enough too shut down properly after a power outage.
I tested this UPS with my wi-fi router and switch. When I disconnected the power, the router stayed and switch stayed on for almost 2 hours and there was no interruption in wi-fi throughout the house.
Exactly the kind of performance I have come to expect from APC UPS products over the years (I have a number of other APC UPS's in my home). Very reliable and worry-free units.

Installation is a bit trickier if you are not replacing an existing light since this is hardwired. But if you are replacing an existing flood light, it is very simple.
Image Quality is nice and sharp - good field of view. Since it has flood light, 2 way clear communication, motion detection, siren, local and cloud storage, it really fits the bill for almost anyone who wants 1 device that can handle a lot of their security needs.
App is easy to use and will get better with time as Swann improves it, but I have no specific issues with the app.
Couldn't ask for more features in one package that all function well.

I've been using SSDs in my PC builds since they were first available. We all know how they improve overall system speed especially disk intensive operation like OS and app loading, file copying, etc...
However, this latest generation of high performance NVMe SSDs which are up to 7-8 times faster than the first SSDs I used really up the ante. For games, boot times are much faster than with traditional hard drives (obviously), but even noticeably faster than the early generation SSDs. These WD black brand has always been WDs performance line of storage solutions, and they continue that tradition here. Its performance is right up there with the other big brands in benchmarks and in real life and gaming, it does not disappoint. Initial game loading times are improved by 10% or so over non-NVMe SSDs and by 50% or so over traditional hard drives.
This is an easy upgrade choice to make if you are a gamer or power user.

Picture quality is great, clear and sharp with good color, even in low light. Audio performance is also better than my previous webcams as reported by people I have talked with on Skype.
Automatic controls seem to take care of most lighting situations, but manual controls are available if you need more customization.
Although it is a very cheap add-on, the privacy shutter is a great idea that I am surprised isn't already built-in to more webcams and laptops.
Mounting on a monitor is very easy, but if you have a monitor with a very small bezel, the camera may obstruct a small part of your screen.
On top of that, the retail price is very reasonable for such a high quality webcam

They will cancel noise whether or not they are connected to anything as long as they haven't run out of battery.

Hi, I just read that these headphones should be charged thru a booted computer. Does that mean I can’t use a wall charger for this? I’m a frequent traveler and I don’t always a laptop or pc around. Can I not just plug it in thru a wall adapter?
You can use a wall charger to charge. This is how I charge mine.

Can these headphones work as noise cancelling without having to be connected to the phone (like the Bose)?
Yes, noise cancelling turns on whether or not Bluetooth is connected. It turns on by default when you power on the headphones and there is a button to toggle it on/off.

Let’s say the battery dies and I connect with a wire. Will noise cancelling work? I know Bose QC35 will provide a sound but no noise cancelling on that case. What about Sony?
Noise cancelling requires power, so I would imaging the noise cancelling turns of as well.

Does the quick attention mode turn on when you rest your head against the the side of the airplane or headrest ? If so, can this feature be turned off ?
No, it seems to need your hand (or something conductive - similar to a touch screen).
