Good solution with limitations

If you have an iPhone 7 and miss being able to charge your phone while listening to music or podcasts, then this is what you need. The two lightning ports are reversible between power or audio, making it easy to connect and use. Audio quality is the same as if you are connected directly to phone. It also works fine with the Apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter, which is good. The only negative I have (other than the price) is this will not work with any other lightning accessory, it is strictly power and audio only. You can't connect two audio cables either, it is only for passing through audio while charging. Knowing these limitations, if you need to charge your iPhone while listening to music over lightning this adapter works fine.

Great coverage, missing features

First off I wanted to love this product. Without a doubt this was the easiest and strongest wireless solution I have deployed so far. Setup was accomplished by scanning a QR code on one of the mesh points, entering in a network name/password, and naming the mesh point. Adding mesh points was also very quick and easy, I had all three up and running within 15 minutes. The mesh can even be expanded beyond the 3 points provided, but for my single story home 3 were more than adequate. Google is very good at design and it shows. The product is visually appealing, the small white cylinders blend in well compared to large black boxes with antennas protruding out. The points have a status LED (white under normal operation) that can be dimmed or turned off, a nice touch. The points each have two gigabit ethernet ports and power provided by USB C using the included adapters. The ports can provide ethernet backhaul between the points and wired client access, though not required. The app has some great features such as being able to identify and group devices on your network by user, pause the internet for a device or user, run speed tests, check network health (mesh point to point), and do some advanced networking such as port forwarding. The signal and range of Google Wifi blows away my previous setup. I had strong signal and was able to achieve full download speeds(60/5 Spectrum) anywhere in my home (<2000 sq ft, see the attached images of a heat map of before and after). Hands down, Google Wifi is the best performing wireless solution I have tried in my home. One MAJOR downside (at the time of this review) is lack of bridging capability (disabling NAT for advanced users who run a router/firewall upstream). The app claims you can bridge the devices, however it is greyed out and can not be changed. I imagine Google will release an update in the future to allow this but it is not available at this time. If you don’t know what or why you would bridge network equipment (majority of homes) than this is a great solution to blanket your entire home in Wifi.

The Smart Toothbrush

The Phillips Sonicare Flexcare Platinum Connected (SFPC) replaced my aging Sonicare (over 5 years old) and so far I am enjoying the enhanced features. Despite offering two less cleaning modes, the SFPC features Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a pressure sensor my previous Sonicare lacked. I find that I didn’t really use the other modes in my older Sonicare anyways. The bluetooth interfaces with a phone running the Sonicare app and is suppose to aid in brushing. The app is a nice feature, though not necessary to use the toothbrush. I like how it simulates your brushing progress and knows whether you are brushing the front or back of your teeth based on the axis of the toothbrush. The app also displays notifications if you are using too much pressure or moving the brush too fast, though the brush itself will also pulse if you are applying too much pressure. I don’t know if I will use the app every time as it requires me to hold my phone out as I brush. Otherwise, I find myself looking down at the phone which is difficult to do while brushing (nobody wants toothpaste on their phone). The app also provides brush replacement notification as well as floss, rinse, and tongue scraping reminders; which can be turned on or off. I like the idea of having a connected toothbrush, but I rate the brush itself a little higher than the app. You are awarded points for proper brushing but they seem meaningless. I expected to see achievement rewards for earning the points, but so far it seems to be just a number. Perhaps they are planning on updating it in the future to offer more engagement. If you are looking to get an electric toothbrush I highly recommend the Sonicare line. If you want more feedback or enjoy gamification of everyday tasks then the SFPC is the brush for you!

The best replacement brush for Sonicare

I own two Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes (a newer Platinum and a 5 year old HX model) and have tried numerous brush heads that they offer. I have found that these do a great job of cleaning while still being comfortable on your gums. I like that the bristles are molded in a flexible rubber as opposed to plastic. This offers more comfort ( I have sensitive teeth/gums) but I also find that it helps prevents water and toothpaste from entering the hollow cavity of the brush head. The brush also features wear reminders (blue coloring fades), which is nice if you aren't sure how often you should replace the brushes. If you own a Sonicare toothbrush these are the brush heads you want!

User friendly but feature rich

This was my first time to use Photoshop Elements and I am impressed with the features and ease of use. I am predominantly a Mac user and usually use the Photos app included with macOS. I have been looking for a better solution and Photoshop Elements 15 provides everything I would want in a photo editor. I like how you can quickly shift from a guided editing process or a quick fix into expert mode and back just by a click. I usually prefer to do things manually but the ‘Guided’ menu provided great results in a fraction of the time. Photoshop Elements even lets you adjust someone’s facial expression, which is nice if you ever have a child who didn’t smile in a picture! My only complaint is I wish it had better integration with the Photos app on the Mac as it currently requires me to manually export photos in order to use them in Photoshop. I realize this is a limitation specific to using this software on a Mac in combination with the Photos app, but it would be nice if Adobe could offer better integration. I included an example of removing an unwanted person from a photo, which took less then 5 minutes with this software. Despite the lack of Photos app integration I highly recommend this software for someone looking for an easy to use photo editor on the Mac.

Great Choice for most homes

First off, this was probably the simplest experience I have had setting up a router. I used the wizard (which I normally despise and opt for manual setup) which allowed setup in under 2 minutes. The WRT 3200 has fantastic signal strength, every room in my home had an additional bar compared to my previous setup. The only gripe I have is when running the router in bridge mode (NAT disabled) I noticed a reduction in WAN to LAN throughput which is odd. This may be addressed in a future firmware update, but be aware if you intend to use this as an AP you may see a reduction in internet throughput (WAN egress/ingress). I still highly recommend as most homes have a single device and would not run it in this configuration. I would of also liked to see more in the parental controls on this device. It allows to specify access times, which is nice, however content filtering was limited to manually specifying what websites to block. It would be nice if there was an option to specify categories to block rather than having to manually enter all websites you don't want a child to visit. Overall, it is a great router that would be a great choice for most homes.

Cheap but Effective

I needed speakers that could be hidden discretely but provide sufficient audio. These fit my needs but for some the audio may be too low and lack of external volume control may be an issue. They snap together for portability but that was not a benefit for my use. Great for someone who needs slim speakers and can sacrifice audio performance in favor of the form factor.

Replacing a DVR that failed with this one was Plug and Play. Wired up the existing cameras and the new DVR displayed video without changing any settings. Decided to swap two of the old cameras with new ones provided (Old cams were fuzzy) and picture quality was a noticeable improvement. They are not HD but far better than the SD cameras we had. New camera was blurry on one occasion but reseating connection fixed.
