I don’t do a lot of mic work on my computer, so I generally rely on my computer mic or headphones (I know, I know). But I’ve recently started getting into more recording (tutorials etc.) I actually started doing them for some family and friends to assist with certain tasks given social distancing. Since I’ve been doing more recording, it seemed reasonable to up my mic game a bit. I didn’t think it made sense to go too crazy since I’m a beginner. I’ve had good luck with JLAB wireless headphones, so I was excited to try this mic.
My overall impression is that it’s pretty decent quality and does the job you expect from it. It’s nothing super fancy, but I wasn’t really expecting that at this price point. The sound is clear and the mic was super simple to connect to my computer. I was up and running in no time and the sound is super crisp. I’d say this is an excellent starter for someone like me who is just starting to get more serious about mics. You can get your feet wet and get good quality without breaking the bank.

I've thought about getting a new keyboard for my Mac for a while but didn't like most of the options. I wanted it to be wireless and have a 9 key but to also match my Mac (color and sleek design). For whatever reason, that was hard to find. I'm very happy with the Logitech keyboard and feel like it's exactly what I was looking for.
The silver and black design match my Mac (even it's not the traditional white keyboard that comes with Macs). Plus, not having a 9 key number pad drives me crazy. I've gotten used to it but am so glad to finally have one again! I had no trouble connecting the keyboard to my Mac by Bluetooth; the included receiver was not needed. I simply turned on the keyboard (ready to go out of the box), selected it from my Bluetooth settings, typed in the number code, and good to go.
I love the feel of the keys as well. They aren't flat like on a typical Mac keyboard, but instead concave and fit my fingers very well. I also appreciate that all of the same keys are available in the same layout as my Mac keyboard (like play, pause, settings, etc.) so I don't have to learn a new keyboard all over again. There are some differences, but they're minor.
My one complaint would be that the keyboard is a little heavy, which is very different from a Mac keyboard, but it's sturdy and fits all of my other criteria.

I've pretty much always used HP as my go to printer brand. I've tried others and never found them to be as good. That was no exception with the Envy series. It's a multifunction printer that offers printing, scanning, and copying but it's a smaller size than other printers I've had with those same functions. The overall look of the printer is very clean and sleek, which is something I appreciate.
As far as function, I've had no problems with the printer itself, any of its functions, or the ink cartridges. It gives you quality prints and copying and scanning work as expected. Vibrant colors and borderless printing make for excellent pictures. I've had other printers that have all of the same functions and cost twice as much. I think this printer offers quality at a very reasonable price.

I have the two year older version of this speaker (XB31) and was just as happy with the new version as I was two years ago. Sony keeps finding ways to improve and the sound they deliver is consistently good. The biggest improvement I noticed was the battery life. I was so impressed by this speaker. I’ve had a number of other bluetooth speakers (different brands) that promise to be dust and waterproof. And they actually were, but they seriously lacked in sound. On the other hand, Sony hit all of the marks and then went even further, exceeding my expectations again.
First off, the sound as one would want from any speaker is on point. You get a deep, rich sound that truly lets you enjoy all of the parts of any song. Next, although I haven't actually dunked this thing in water, it does seem ready to take on anything I could throw at it.

I'm someone who likes wine but doesn't drink it all the time. And if I'm going to drink it, I like a good wine. Problem is, I don't want that good bottle of wine to go to waste if I only want one glass every now and then. The other benefit I found with this is sometimes when I have people over, we have trouble agreeing on what kind of wine we should have! Another problem solved. The Coravin is the perfect solution for me. I was a little apprehensive about the idea of if but have not been disappointed. It's a little weird operating the first time, making sure you insert the needle properly, etc. but it's not difficult and works perfectly.
Admittedly, this item is not inexpensive. However, if you're drinking a good quality wine, you don't want to compromise on the functionality of something like this. Coravin delivers exactly what it promises, allowing you to pour just one glass of wine and preserving the rest of the bottle for later consumption. This is a great way to enjoy a good bottle and at your own pace without risk of it turning. Recommended!

I already had a video doorbell from another brand, but I decided to swap it out for this Eufy one instead. This was based on two key features: 1) it's wired and battery and 2) it has its own internal storage. Both of these features were new to me, and I had not seem them as options for other brands' video doorbells. I had a handyman come help me install. He told me it was straightforward, I just choose to have the professional do this sort of thing.
The Eufy doorbell provides the basic features you'd expect, excellent video resolution, weatherproof (which is good, it gets hot where I am!), real time responses, and it works with my Google Home. But back to my favorite features. First, I love that this is wired and has a battery. Most of the time, wired is my preferred option because I don't have to worry about charging it. However, if the power goes out, so does my camera. I love having the backup option in the battery. Also, with most video doorbells, in order to save any actual security footage, you have to pay a monthly subscription for cloud storage space. The Eufy includes free 16GB of local storage. Obviously, 16GB is not a huge amount when we're talking about video, but it is still pretty impressive and I love having that option.
Overall, very happy and recommend.

Excellent for Work or Pleasure

I recently used this suitcase on a work trip. I flew from Sacramento to LA and checked the bag. This is something to keep in mind. I was concerned at first that the combination lock on the bag might pose a problem if my bag was searched by TSA at the airport. However, the combination lock built into the case is TSA certified and I can happily say that it works. I had that fun flyer in my bag when I got to my hotel, telling me that my bag had been randomly searched. But the lock was intact and the case still looked new!
I also found the overall functionality of the bag to be fantastic. The wheels glided over every surface I encountered: cement, tile, carpet. I really didn't notice a difference when going from one surface to another.
Since this was a work trip, I also greatly appreciated the attention to the storage within the suitcase. The padded laptop storage was very helpful and secure and the extra pockets made it easy to keep items separate for the trip.
Overall, I have no complaints. Yes, this is a pricier suitcase. However, you can easily see the reasons why in the design and function.

Let me preface this by saying that I was a little nervous about Nespresso since it uses coffee capsules/pods. In my experience, this type of thing (different brands) tends to not give the strongest or tastiest cup of coffee. I'm happy to say that that is definitely not the case with Nespresso. They're not lying, this is ESPRESSO! It packs a punch and is so enjoyable to drink on a cold fall day (although those are a little lacking in California right now!)
The thing that I was most worried about turned out to be the thing I love most. The capsules make it so easy to make a delicious drink without having to worry about a lot of perfect measurements and experience. I can make a coffee house quality drink in my own kitchen. Setup and cleanup were both super simple...you can put all of the removable parts in the dishwasher. Overall a great product that produces a pretty great cup of coffee.

First of all, if you've never had food cooked using the sous vide method, then it's hard to describe. By cooking food at low, constant temperature, it allows the food to be very gently cooked in a way that can't really be duplicated using any other method. When you're cooking meat (like a good ribeye steak), you can use sous vide to infuse flavor into the meat by adding herbs and garlic to the cooking bag. The flavors are literally absorbed into the meat during the cooking process. As far as the Anova goes, it's an excellent product that gives you fantastic results.
Here's where the "don't skimp" part comes into play. I decided to experiment and try cooking some items (cheaper cut of steak) without actually vacuum sealing the bags. The purpose of vacuum sealing is to remove ALL of the air from the bag so that the food stays submerged in the water and cooks evenly. If you do that, the Anova handles the rest. However, if you don't vacuum seal, it's virtually impossible to remove all of the air. I ended up having to weight down the bags to keep everything underwater. On my next try, I actually bought the vacuum sealer and it was smooth sailing. The cooking time and temperature were perfect and I had no issues with set up and use.
The Anova does a fantastic job cooking the steak evenly, then you just finish with a quick sear and you'll get the most evenly cooked, tender steak you've ever had. I was a little nervous about using the sous vide method at home, thinking I'd need a water bath etc. I just set up the Anova on my largest pot in the kitchen, set it, and it handled the rest. Awesome product with awesome results!

Ok, the setup on this was definitely not my favorite part. It took some time since the speakers are wired to get everything run correctly through my yard. And yes, wireless is easier to manage and get setup BUT the sound on this system cannot be beat. And let's be clear, I'm not just talking about the sound for an outdoor system. Overall, the sound for this system is phenomenal for ANY system (indoor or outdoor).
I would highly recommend that you have at least one person helping you setup everything so that you can test as you go, otherwise, there will probably be a lot of back and forth making sure everything is connected and working properly. That being said, once we finished setup, we found it was absolutely worth the effort. The Sonance system gives you a deep, rich experience that you can immerse yourself in anyway in the backyard. I have a backyard on the smaller side and thought this might be overkill but it just makes being outside that much more enjoyable.
Although setup wasn't the simplest I've ever experienced, I can't even take a star off for that because the end result has been so enjoyable.

I'm have AT&T but plan on ordering through Best Buy because of $100 gift card. Why is it not showing up in my cart but Chromecast is? Do you have to activated it through Verizon to get the gift card?
The Google Pixel is exclusive to Verizon, so you won't be able to buy it with an AT&T account.
