I'm used to having dual 24" monitors at work, so it was almost a let down to come home to my own computer and have only one display. I debated on whether or not I should just add a second display but instead opted for one 32" screen. I am so happy with that decision. Dual monitors are nice but you have the obvious gap in the middle between them, and of course you can't expand any window bigger than one screen.
This monitor on the other hand makes things way more versatile. I can multitask easily and comfortably have several different applications open at once. But I can also have one large window displayed which is great for streaming and gaming (it doesn't have the highest refresh rate but not bad at all). Combine that with the CLEAN picture and you get an all around fantastic viewing experience. I also love that this has 2 HDMI ports, which allows for a lot more versatility.

I really wanted to give these headphones 5 stars, and they do come close. The things that I struggled with were taking calls/the microphone and the control buttons on the headphones. When I got a call, I attempted to answer the phone and use the headphones to talk. However, the call switched from my headphones to my phone and the headphones seemed turned off instead. After the call, I got up from my desk at work to go talk to someone and found that the microphone on the headphones seemed to be stuck on. Every time I talked, I could hear my own voice echoing through the headphones. That was really weird. I actually had to take them out and put them back in the case to essentially reset them. I'm hoping that was just a quirk and won't be an ongoing issue as it's only happened the one time.
These headphones have touch buttons, you don't actually push a button but tap instead. Double tap the right one to play/pause music, one tap on the right to turn the volume up and one tap on the left to turn it down. There are a variety of other controls as well. In theory, I love the idea of this, it should be quick and easy. The problem is, if you're even a little off center when you tap, it won't register. I also have long hair and had to push my hair out of the way every time I wanted to play/pause or adjust the volume because the buttons wouldn't work otherwise. I was kept trying to pause my music and it either wouldn't do anything or I turned the volume way up.
I know I had a lot to say about some of the issues, but honestly, I can work with them. I've never had an easier time syncing the Bluetooth on my phone. I was ready to go in less than 30 seconds. The sound is pretty decent (especially when you consider the price point), and they're super comfortable and secure. I also LOVE the case that these come in. The charging cable is built right in so you don't have to carry it separately and it plugs right into any USB port (like in a computer or wall adapter). The cord is obviously really short, but the convenience makes that totally doable. These are still a FANTASTIC set of headphones when you consider the price. The overall quality (especially the charging case) is great, and you absolutely cannot beat that price for true wireless headphones.

This is a great laptop for the casual gamer who is maybe just starting out and learning or for a somewhat more experienced user. It's safe to say that experienced gamers will not be satisfied with this computer, but it really wasn't designed for that (the price tag is a pretty clear indicator). Keep in mind that because this laptop is equipped with a bit more than your average laptop (including a solid state drive) you feel that in the weight of the computer. It's definitely heavier than the average, "non-gaming" computer.
I found the computer to be very responsive. This includes while playing and also just for everyday use. Windows 10 runs smoothly. I'm not a fan of some of the extras that Acer loads on their computers, but it was manageable and didn't mess up the overall user experience. While the graphics card is obviously not top of the line, it's in keeping with the cost of this particular laptop and gets the job done.
Overall, using this laptop is a great experience. It provides everything a new/casual gamer needs without a lot of fluff.

I had a friend install this for me...they're way handier than I am! It was fairly straight-forward and we had things up and running pretty quickly. It is actually quite heavy and felt like good quality prior to installing it.
I was able to download the August app on my phone with no problems. I did have some issues with initial set-up and getting everything connected. The August connection to the lock took a few tries to get right, including a factory reset. For some reason, every time we tried to do a reset and start over, it took us back to the same error. I called August support, got through very quickly, and they had things up and running in no time.
The touchscreen keypad works well. You just tap the screen with your hand when leaving to lock the door (or use your phone). When you want to unlock it, you tap the screen again, which brings up the keypad. Type in your 4-8 digit PIN (set during initial set-up) to unlock the door, or again use your phone through the August app. I also have this connected to my Google Home. I can tell Google to lock or unlock the door. To unlock the door with Google, you have to provide a pass key. My only complaint with this feature is it takes a while for the door to respond to the Google Home command to lock/unlock.
However, everything seems to function as expected. It looks very sleek and secure, and I'm loving the new addition to my expanding "smart" home. I would recommend this (in fact the friend who installed it for me wants one now too for their house!)

I love Belkin products and this did not disappoint. The charger that this one replaced was also Belkin (just not wireless). I was a little worried about the wireless charging working with my phone because I have a slim wallet case on my phone that holds two credit cards. I really didn't want to have to take my case off...it kind of defeats the usefulness of wireless charging if you have to do that.
At first, I wasn't sure it was going to work. On the back of my case, I also have a metal disk that allows me to put my phone on a magnetic stand in the car. That's a LOT to go through to charge the phone. I did find that the metal disk interfered with the charging, but I was able to just slide the back of the case open (as you would to remove a card), and then place it on the charger. It worked perfectly then! I like that my phone stays upright when charging so that I can still see the display at night.
It also charges my Apple Watch perfectly. Just lay the watch on the stand and it attaches and starts charging immediately. The one thing I preferred with my old Belkin charger is that the watch was also upright (like the phone) when charging instead of being laid on its side. But not a big deal and still a 5 star product.
If this thing works through my wallet case and two credit cards, you can bet it will work with almost any case. Convenient, sleek design, quality product!

Prior to owning and installing the T9, I had the previous generation Honeywell smart thermostat (Smart Color). Set up and use of that was a breeze. Because I already had a Honeywell smart thermostat, set up for the new T9 was not all that difficult. I think it's safe to say that the newer your home is, the easier it is to set up smart products. People in older homes may experience a bit more difficulty with the wiring, but Honeywell does provide good instructions. There are also tons of video tutorials out there for this kind of thing.
I only have the one sensor included with the thermostat and my house is relatively small. It seems effective in my house and I feel like the energy usage is efficient, but the warmer months are coming and that will be the bigger test I think. As mentioned, I had the previous generation Honeywell thermostat and so was a little frustrated that the T9 uses a completely different app. This meant signing up all over again. However, the new app works well and getting everything set up on my Wifi network was very simple.

I'm not someone who builds computers (I leave that to my brother), but I do know a few things about gaming and what you want in a good gaming experience. I play World of Warcraft, and I have to say, I've never had a smoother gaming experience. There's no slow reaction time or freezing up, and I almost feel like I'm playing a whole new game now.
Aside from that, this is a mid-level gaming computer that packs a pretty solid punch. The full retail price seems a little on the high side to me because there are a LOT of options these days and a lot of computers that are more customizable than this one. However, the Omen delivers what it promises. It's got an excellent processor in the i7, graphics are on point, and I love that this model has the SSD. The design is sleek and looks good sitting up on a desk. Look for it on sale and you won't be disappointed.

These headphones are not for the casual listener. But before getting to the sound, let’s focus on the look and feel. First, in terms of comfort…ahhh-mazing! The padded, cushy leather makes these perfect for long term, all day use. They don’t squeeze, just firm enough to give you the confidence of knowing they’re not going anywhere and you’re locked into the sound. They’re a bit big and bulky, but that’s to be expected.
I’m more than a casual listener but also not a full on audiophile. I love having different headphones for different music and occasions. The sound clarity on these is excellent, with so much depth. Honestly, I feel like I was missing out on some songs because you can’t hear everything a song has to offer with some other headphones or speakers.
These headphones are really all about (studio) sound quality and that’s obviously where the focus was in the design. Two of the most sought after features in headphones today are wireless and noise canceling. These Sonys don’t offer either of these features. That’s not what they’re for, and I’m good with that. I’m a little surprised/confused at the lack of a case for them though. If you’re buying this caliber of headphone, I’m pretty sure you want to make sure they’re well protected. That’s not enough to take away a star for me though. The sound is the focus and that’s a home run as far as I’m concerned.

I replaced a first or second generation Chromebook with this one. Honestly, there's almost no comparison. With the first Chromebook, it was a convenient tool for checking email, watching Netflix, or maybe downloading a small app for games. With this Dell Chromebook, well, I almost forgot it was a Chromebook. It definitely is premium and felt much more like using a regular laptop (in terms of functionality and capability). It's small but seems to be built incredibly well. I feel confident that it's sturdy and will hold up to long term use.
Despite how sturdy and functional it is, it's also beautifully made/designed. It's super thin and looks professional. It's crazy to me that a Chromebook has a Solid State Drive, that's an amazing perk. Also, like so many laptops these days, this has the ability to be folded up and used like a tablet. The touchscreen is very responsive without being overly sensitive. You also get a stylus/pen that's built right in. I wish there had been something like this on the market when I was in school. This would make an amazing computer for a student (also great in a professional setting).
I really have nothing negative to say about this. It's a powerful yet compact little machine that gives Chromebook quite a boost.

I have mixed feelings about this new Hisense. I wavered between 3 or 4 stars, but opted for the higher because this TV does deliver on picture quality and price. I have last year's model in a large size of this TV and absolutely love it. It's a 4K Smart TV at an affordable price. The same can absolutely be said for the Hisense H9 Plus.
However, while last year's model came with your typical remote control with application buttons (like Netflix and YouTube). The Android features on this new TV are a huge step up...or they should be. If they worked flawlessly, this would be a 5 star rating. But there is definite improvement needed on this side of things. I get wanting to change and have cool new technology, but in my opinion, remotes still need a number pad. I found it took extra steps to do some of the most basic functions. There are some cool features such as the built in Google Assistant which has worked well for me. But let's get the basics down right before moving onto the fancier stuff!
Despite some frustrations, this is still a pretty amazing TV, especially when you factor in the price. I think you'd be hard pressed to find another TV that matches this one in picture quality and tech at this price point. One last thing to keep in mind...this TV is HEAVY. The backing is metal (not plastic), which looks nice and gives it a quality finish. But don't go trying to set this up by yourself.

No, it has to be upright in the portrait position. It doesn't work in landscape, and the phone bumps into the charging location for the Apple Watch when in landscape anyway.
