Pretty decent little printer!

Pretty decent little printer! And the fact that is relatively little (as in small footprint) is one of my gfavorite things about it.
We have 2 bubble-jet printers (one in my office, on in my wifes office) and now, 2 laser printers. This little guy went into my wifes office where there was not very much room on her shelf, so this fit the bill perfectly.
Why do we have 2 of each type? Well, the bubble-jets we use for when color is important and the lasers, of course, for when speed and crispness of text are important. And lets face it, lasers are far more efficient and considerabely less expensive to maintain.
Set-up was no probelm. From unboxing to printing wasmaybe 20 minutes? Not surebecause I was pulled away a couple times, but it was pretty simple. Even a novice should have no problem with initial setup.
Printing was relatively quick and the text was crisp, clean and sharp.
End of the day, if you are in need of a laser printer that also has a small footprint for your home office, this is a good choice. End of the day, I would reccomend it to a friend!

Great Choice If You Need Laser Printing.

My son is a United States Navy Nuclear Engineer. How is this relavant to this review? Him being a super smart kid with an engineering aptitude (albeit a little quirky), he LOVES to build things, tear them down and rebuild in an "improved" way. That said, he purchased a famous-space ship from a famous space-series (whose names are trademarked) from a famous building-block company (trademarked) and started building. Problem is, he left his assembly instructions at home 2713 miles away. He had to print them from my color bubble jet printer. Ouch. 164 pages of COLOR printed pages. And with printer ink being more expensive then human blood {it's a fact, look it up!}, the expense was a hard hit to take watching page after page after page...
When the opportunity to get this Brother Monochrome Laser printer came up, I had immdeiate flashbacks and snapped this offer up. Had I had this printer, printing that same manual would have cost a fraction of the price and the text and images (although not in color) would have been extremely crisp, clean and fast compared to the bubble jet.
As for tech specs, I won't waste your time. They are easy to get anywhere. But I will comment on the set-up being easy, the printing is extrememly crisp and tight and the speed is impressive.
End of the day, if you have a need for a Laser Printer, this is a solid choice.

Good Option and a Good Price

Great choice, especially if you already have an Arlo eco-system.
In our situation, we have an investment property in North Charleston, South Carolina. We bought it since our son was going to be there in the U.S. Navy Nuke Engineer program. We figured he could live there while he is school (just three short months and he'll be done!) and then rent it out to future US Navy Nukes.
That said, we already have a portable Arlo Smart Alrm system that can easily be installed in his next permanent station. Being a submarine volenteer (sub vol)the existing alarm and the doorbell camera will give us some ability monitor his next house/condo when he deploys. This is a great addition to that system.
Installation is simple... Two wires and a screwdriver then mount it. Whole thing took less than five minutes. IMPORTANT NOTE: While we installed in a wired environment, this Arlo camera/doorbell does have a battery option allowing multiple options and environments.
The video quality and build quality are good, especially for the price.
End of the day, this offers a a very good optio in a relativelly robust system and a good price.
I would (and have) reccomend to a friend.

Great Comfort, Very Good Sound

Sennheiser - ACCENTUM Wireless Bluetooth Headphones... a great choice, especially if you will be wearing them for extended periods of time!
In the box, pretty simple. The headphones, a USB cable and the ubiquotous basic manual and disclaimers... Downloaded the app, pair the phones and you are up and running. Pairing was as quick as I have seen.
About the app, it's pretty lightweight and not particularly robust. It has Connection Management, EQ, Sound Check (creates storable custom EQ settings), Sound Zones (storable settings for different environments), Active Noise Cancelation/Transparency and Side Tone (sets level that you hear your own voice on calls). All pretty self explanatory.
The default sound is great. Lows that are low but not over-bearing. Mids are crisp, clean and clear. Highs are perfectly clean and sharp without being too sharp. Great default sound!
My only complaint was the EQ itself. I messed around with it several times and each time I adjusted it, it seemed to dampen the over-all sound. I set it to default and was perfectly happy. Not the greatest EQ, but not a deal breaker.
The Active Noise Cancellation is quite good. For the price point, hard to beat. If I were going on a long flight tomorrow, these would probably be the first I would grab. In addition to the ANC, these are as comfortable as can be...
As mentioned, these would be the first I would grab for a flight, not just for the ANC, but especially for the comfort. Not only do they fit my big head quite well, they also let me wear my sunglasses unencumbered by the ear cups. That is outstanding! Other over-the-ear headphones have a tendancy to compress the sunglasses into my head and it get's uncomfortable after a short peiod of time
As for controls, the built controls on the right ear are simple, intuitive easily controlled. My experience with some headphones is that they can be too-cute-by-half. These are great.
End of the day, these are an excellent choice, especially if you will be wearing them for extended periods of time and/or with sunglasses.

Great All Day Long Headphones!

Being a longtome fan of most all things Logitech, I jumped at the chance to get these when the offer came up...
I had a new desktop from the TIN program that was a great desktop, but it didn't come with speakers. No big deal, I only used it for light web surfing, E-mails and spread-sheets / word docs. That said, I will admit that at times, it would have been nice to have the ability to listen to videos and stuff friends sent, but I didn't want to mess of chords on my desk. and then this came, and the perfect solution!
In the box you will find the headphones, USB charger and a cloth case. The case is a nice to have but I'm not sure how much I will use it.
These are good looking headphones with great comfort, L/R boom mic (that can be positioned paralel to headphones and not in the way) and excellent sound.
The earcups are "over-the-ear" and not "around-the-ear" and for me, tnhat took a little time to get used to, but once you are comfortable with it, you can wear these for those marathom conference calla and trainings. Very comfortable and light weight.
End of the day, a great choice for your needs! And I might add if you look at the picture, it's a fine compliment to my Logitech wierless keyboard and my Logitech mouse.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT Floodlight/Camera!

A couple of weeks before this offer came up, my wife asked me to watch for any outdoor lights for our backyard. She is a Lieutenant at a major Denver Metro Fire Department so it's common for her to leave at the crack of ridiculously early...
When this opportunity came, I jumped on it! Having already been a user of the Blink eco-system, this was a no-brainer. And a perfect easy upgrade that met our needs perfectly!
This offer had the Outdoor 4 Blink camera and the floodlight. Lithium batteries were included.
The setup was incredibly easy... Unboxed everything, inserted the batteries, added new device (the camera) into my existing Blink app and I was up and running.

Please note, I already had the Blink Sync Module 2 that supports our four 4 Blink video doorbells. The Sync module allows you to have multiple cameras in the Blink ecosystem in one hub and you can save video clips by inserting a USB into it. I have a 256 Gig USB and it holds TONS of recorded video clips.
OK, everything is programmed and ready to mount... The camera light came with a mounting kit that could be useful for certain environments, but for me, I used 3 short wood screws to from my misc drawers.
I grabbed a ladder, a drill, and the 3 short screws... 2 minutes later, the base-plate was mounted. Placed the light/cam combo on the base-plate and was up and running. If you ARE NOT comfortable on a ladder or using a power drill, ask a family member or friend to help. But most folks who are comfortable with basic home maintenance/improvements will be very comfortable installing it, no problem.
Once installed, you have several options in the intuitive and simple app regarding brightness, video recording length etcetera. Great app.
We are very happy with this and would wholeheartedly recommend it to a friend!

Not a fan.
First off, installation was a 2 hour time-drain. Tried installing several times and got the same error of "Error code 50: Installation failed" after only loadin 9%. I went to the Adobe and entered the "Code 50".
The first suggested correction was to close browser and try to install again. OK, did that and same error.
Next suggestion was to re-start my PC and try again. Fair enough and easy money. Did that and same problem.
Next step was to uninstall Creative Cloud app using their uninstaller... OK, I downloaded the uninstaller and went through the process of uninstalling. I tried to re-install and exact same error.
The next and final step was to navigate to:
*C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\Temp\CreativeCloud\
*Navigate to ACC.log
*Look for "LockedFilesWithProcesses"
*Then look for something that looks like "LockedFilesWithProcesses: ADC : C:\Program Files
(x86)\Common"
*Go to the file using the given path, and close it in Task Manager
*Navigate to ACC.log

OK, I did that, and then yet again, went to download the app and FINALLY it installed.
Great, right? No, not really. I went to activate it with the code I was given. I started to enter it and it errored saying that I needed to enter the serial number and NOT the activation code. Frustrating!
I had to click another link to convert the "Activation Code" into serial number. Why not just provide the serial number? Again, frustrating!
OK, at this point I had it installed and up and running. I decided to fiddle around with it and I found it to be not very user-friendly, but I was willing to walk away, sleep on it and try again tomorrow.
Day 2, it was similar to versions I had used in the past. It's basically a feature rich [perhaps too feature rich] program that does a whole bunch, does it pretty well but is not particularly intuitive. That said, some of the new features [photo fix, AI, color match, background selection, text etc] are nice additions but again, there is a somewhat steep learning curve
End of the day, probably a very good program, but the frustration certainly tainted my initial experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun Throwback To Childhood!

Great throwback Polaroid!
When this offer came up, I was quick to grab it. I thought it would be fun to have a throw-back experience to my childhood when this was state-of-the-art technology... When I got it, I opened it and left it on the table in our entry. As soon as my teen daughter, she grabbed and headed upstairs. My eighteeen-year-old daughter is a vibrant artist in almost all media from pencil, to watercolor, to oil, to music and of course to photography. We desided to test it togeher. Needles to say, her pictyres made this review, my artless pics were pale in comparison to hers.
First off, set up was as expected, easy. Open it up, charge it, load film, aim, snap pic and wait a bit for it to develop. It was indeed a memory tugger!
After going through a couple "rolls" of film, it was nice to see the classic richness and depth that Polaroid instant film presents.
I can for sure see taking a couple "rolls" of film this coming Thanksgiving and Christmas. My plan is to take the pics and then digitally stare them for perpetuity.
The one slight drawback (and the only thing keeping ot from a 5 star rating) is that the film is not inexpensive. That is known by most people prior to purchasing this, but I found it important enough to note.
End of the day, fun little camera to bring you back to the 70's and 80's!

Great high-tech old school throw-back tech!
We got our 18 year-old daughter a record player when she was 12. She loves listening to that Taylor lady who was dating the KC football team's tight end on records. There is that classic warmth that natural vinyl delivers and she loved the "throw-back" vibe that records offer.
Fast-forward 6 years and she is now away from home (albeit just 15 miles) and living in a college dorm. She still comes home for the weekends. Her quandry was she wanted to have a record player in the dorm, but didn't want to haul it back and forth.
Along came this Victrola Onyx Hi-Res Turntable to save the day! She ended up moving the older one to the dorm and leaving this one here. She LOVES this player. The sound-quality is excellent! The sound is rich, warm and smooth. Lows are low but not muddled. Mid's a clean and clear and highs are crisp and clean without being harsh.
This is also a handsome unit and can convey class and quality just as well in a teenagers bedroom as it would in a high-end audiophiles module HiFi environment.
End of the day, I would reccomend it to a friend!

Excellent Choice For A solid, Quality Doorbell!

Great first-dive into the smart-doorbell market!
Ecobee has long been a leader in the smart thermostat arena with a long legacy of quality products. Taking that reputation into the smart-doorbell they hit a huge home-run.
Inside the box you'll find the doorbell, backplate with security screw, wedgemount, chime adapter and hardware envelope.
Once unboxed, I was immediately impressed witht he overall build quality and feel of the doorbell. I have used and tested several smart doorbells and this one is right there witht he upper-end of those units. It is also on the heavier and larger end of the doorbells I have used and tested. This is a good thing as it echoes confidince in the device.
Installation was not hard, but was a little involved. It all starts with the app so that is step one. Once you have the app, it walks you through the installation process. The mounting the doorbell is simple. A few screws, connect the wires and that is done. As for the chime adaapter, it was a little more involved. I am perfectly comfortable doing this type of project so just gave it a little time, attention to detail and followed the Ecobee process and it was done. If you are not that person, you may want to call in a family member or friend who IS that kind of person.
Once it was installed, the camera quality is some of the best I have seen in any doorbell. Impressive.
As for the tech specs and what this device does, I'm not going to get into that because it's all pretty self explanatory and expected.
End of the day, this is a great choice!

I'm not sure I understand the question. You should be able to plug the USB into your PC, turn your mouse to the "on" position and have it operate no problems.
