Now that summer is over and I was missing grilling season, I wanted to try out this indoor smokeless griller from Power XL. I have now completed 5 meals on this grill and I wanted to wait to write this review until I had a chance to try them all. The meals prepared - T-Bone steak, chicken with a barbecue glaze, salmon, thick cut pork chops and hamburgers. To my absolute surprise, the griller is indeed smokeless thanks to the water reservoir and fan unit. The taste of the food was outstanding - very flavorful while being cooked all the way through properly.
To make cleanup easier, I used my favorite vegetable shortening spray on the silver catch pan as well as the grilling surface. These were the only 2 items that needed cleaning with soap and water - the rest was a quick wipe down with washcloth and towel dry.
The unit operates extremely easy and does take some time to get to the desired temperature for grilling. Opening the lid to flip the meat caused heat loss of course, but nothing terrible. I found the stated temp on the unit was correct and accurate when I checked it with my own thermometer.
All in all, for the price, ease of cleaning, and taste - I could not be happier with this griller - looking forward to trying some of the recipes that the griller came with.

Unboxing – love the minimalistic packaging – has the three main system units, three power cords and three network cables. The quick start guide is easy to use and understand and you can have this up and running in under 15 minutes. I had a little difficulty with transferring my current SSID to the new router but that was completely my own fault as I bypassed googles network box (which is not very good) with the On-Hub router. Once I figured out the issue, the system recognized the Eero system quickly.
Coming from an internet with gigabit speed – google fiber – and google Wifi set up that has a main router (Asus Google On-hub) with 4 additional mesh “hockey pucks”, I have to say – I am quite amazed that this Eero system outperformed my current set up – with 2 less access points!
I have approximately 60 connected devices in my smart home set up including lighting, sprinkler system and everything in between in addition to my families phone, video gaming and computer needs.
Pre eero – was getting 890 gb/sec download speed hardwired and my latest computer was getting 410 gb/sec download. Upload speed was 390gb/sec with my best computer.
Post eero – am getting 930gb/sec download hardwired and 645 gb/sec wireless with the same equipment as pre eero. Upload speed was 430 with eero.
My household has three teenagers who are constantly on the network as all are and even with 4 TV’s streaming a show and another gaming online with this thing called an xbox, I was receiving the same speeds. I am not often impressed with new tech offerings but this system is simply incredible. I tested speeds all the way to the end of my cul-de-sac – approximately 1.5 football fields and I could still connect easily with my phone. Covering the internet needs of my home and backyard entertainment area was not an issue – approx. 5000 sq feet.
Overall – I would have to say this is likely the best system out there for heavy users. Expensive – Yes, worth every penny – Yes! You will not be disappointed!

I am happy to review this all-in-one from Epson and I must say I am pleasantly surprised in this offering as it has many features of a much higher end unit. The unboxing, set up, and features are all very simple. Installing the software was a breeze and connecting to Wifi was a 15 second process. Utilizing the printer via computer as well as the phone app was also very simple.
The printer does indeed print about 25 pages in back and white per minute and half that with color added in. Scanning documents to my computer was intuitive and the quality of scans were perfectly adequate. Copies were just a touch of a button on the large display and print in great quality. I was not able to try the fax feature as, like most now, I do not have a dedicated phone line.
All-in-all, I am very happy with this offering from Epson – my first with this brand and it will not be my last. Highly recommended.

When looking for an ecosystem of products for the kitchen, you will not find a better product line than Vitamix. They are renowned for their blenders and rightfully so – while on the higher side of price options for blenders they are regarded as stellar performers.
This 12-cup food processor attachment certain Vitamix blender bases is a perfect companion for the blender as it negates the need for another standalone unit. It simply attaches to the blender base by an auto detect technology and won’t operate unless connected correctly – a nice design feature.
I have used this product in all manners of food processing and this product delivers wonderfully! The options are numerous and are: mince, slice, chop, knead, shred and mix and there are different blades included to perform all these functions. The unit performed extremely well on all the settings. The operation of this product is easy to understand and has made food preparation for meals an absolute breeze and reduces time in that preparation.
All in all, this is a wonderful product! Please keep in mind you need a compatible Vitamix blender base to use this product.

One might look at the price of this blender and immediately say “no thank you” right away and move on to another option – that would be an unfortunate mistake! I am not quite sure the word blender should apply to this – it’s almost as if this product needs its own name due to the various functions.
The aesthetics of this product match every other kitchen gadget in the house as I prefer stainless and black colors so everything matches well. This product is very robust and quite heavy (a good thing) for when high setting blender is required – allows for no rocking. The controls are intuitive and the product is very easy to use. It comes with a wonderful recipe book to try out different functions.
I thought I owned a good higher ended blender until I used this product. After thoroughly cleaning the unit to rid it of the new machine taste, I delved right in and made one of my favorite items – a tomato-basil soup as I was curious to see how the heating of the soup would work. I was amazed to see that the soup increased temperature about 8.5 degrees for every minute blended and was ready to eat right from the blender. The taste, texture and smell were perfecto!
I have tried now all the blender settings and my kids have routinely said the milkshakes and smoothies are the best ever! The recipes tried are a big hit and the ease of use for said recipes is amazing.
Features I like the best are the timer as well as the self-cleaning options. The timer has different ways to set from ascending time, descending time or none which I found helpful. I was skeptical that the self-cleaning would work but was proved wrong.
All in all, I cannot recommend this product highly enough. Yes, it is quite expensive but may just be the last blender ever purchased – I am a big fan of the saying “You get what you pay for” – and this product is worth it!

De'Longhi All-In-One Combination Coffee and Espresso Machine

Let me first start by saying I am an avid coffee connoisseur of everything to do with coffee, from bean selection to makers. I have owned 3 different “high end” coffee makers in the last 12 years that are certified by the SCAA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) and the SCAE (Specialty Coffee Association of Europe). These associations have very strict requirements of the machines they certify to be sure the coffee is brewed at the exact right temperature to avoid the mishaps that come with the wrong brewing temperature – bitter taste, not hot enough, too hot or poor ground immersion.
This new product from De’Longhi, while not certified by the entities above, brews an excellent pot of coffee when using the drip and carafe and the taste is comparable to my current machine that is certified. After going though the very important cleaning process to rid the machine of unwanted tastes (something that needs done with every new coffee maker), I had my wife blind taste test me with our favorite coffee bean from East Africa – a bean we have used for years. I was amazed to find that I could not tell the difference of which cup came from which machine which tells meDe’Longhi got it right regarding the temperature of brewing and bean emersion.
The expresso/cappuccino/latte side of the machine is very easy to use and while I do not prefer lattes, my experience with the quality of the expresso and cappuccino side of this machine was similar to the drip carafe side noted above.
The aesthetics of this machine are very much appreciated as I prefer stainless colors with black accents for all my kitchen gadgets and this one fit right in. If you are wanting a variety of color options, you will need to look elsewhere. The controls and digital display are easy to find and use and the lights on the display are not obnoxiously bright.
In short, I cannot recommend this product highly enough. For the price you pay for the variety of coffee options to brew, you likely cannot do any better.

Vacuums are like going to the dentist - something you need to do every once in a while but you really don't want to - ok maybe a little more with the vacuuming but you get the point. No one ever wants to spend money on a vacuum and you want to get the most out of the purchase. I have owned many vacuums in my day and hands down, this vacuum performs just as good if not better than some twice as much.
Pros - lightweight, ridiculously good suction and almost feels self propelled due to the suction, easy to use the lift away component, has all the necessary attachments, can be used on any floor surface and good for pet hair.
Cons - would like a spot on the vacuum to put all the attachments, found that switching from different floor types takes some getting used to, color is rather bland - but that is subjective.
Overall - Ultimately this is a vacuum and it performs in a stellar fashion for its designed purpose. You will be hard-pressed to find another that performs better at this price or even one twice its price. I would highly recommend this product.

I have owned both the MX anywhere 1 and 2 and now have the privilege to own this MX3. If you have never experienced a mouse that can be used on any surface (including glass) you have been likely very frustrated at times with your mouse. When logitech says "anywhere" they mean it. I have tested this MX3 on granite, carpet, concrete sidewalk, couch, and bed linens. This mouse never misses a beat and tracks so incredibly fast and accurate. I tried my best to make it fail to do so but actually, I failed. I am happy to say they updated the charging to the more industry standard USB type c. This should allow faster charging and while I have not tested this yet - they say it lasts for over 2 months on a single charge. The fit and finish are what you would expect from Logitech - premium feel, weight and hand position. All buttons are customizable which is a plus. All in all this is a good upgrade from the MX2 and I honestly see no negatives.

I have owned many different BT true wireless earbuds over the last few years ranging from cheap 50 dollar ones to more expensive 300 dollar units as I am always on the search for high quality sound.
Unboxing - Small package size and the buds arrived fully charged in the case. In the box are the buds and case, user manual, a charge cable (approximately 7 inches long) and different sized ear tips (all rubber, no comply foam).
Start-up - Really rather simple process. The user manual said that I should hold both earbuds for three seconds to enable BT pairing mode but for me, as soon as I put them in my ears, they entered pairing mode. Simply had to BT search for them and connected within 5 seconds. Then I downloaded the Sennheiser app on the phone and the app recognized the earbuds immediately.
Sound and operation - Out of the box these sounded just OK but when I played around with the equalizer settings on the app, I could tweak it to my liking. Two ways to get the sound you want - one with a graph grid where you move the small dot around the graph to inc/dec base, treble highs lows etc. The second method is by manual control of the eq settings. I did not mind the easier graph grid so I stuck with that. Of course, sound is highly personal and subjective but I feel that most everyone will find an eq position they enjoy. The touch controls on the earbuds are easy to operate and after just a few minutes were fully understood. Calls sounded excellent and my wife said she could understand me perfectly on her end. Volume was sufficient and I did not even come close to max volume.
Battery life - on par with other ear buds of this quality and the charging case is very small - easily fits in my pocket.
The only negatives I see here are more personal as I love to use these kinds of buds for workouts and they are not water or sweat resistant (that I can see). I will use them for workouts and see if they hold up. They also did not come with the way more comfortable comply tips that other high end earbuds come with. The enclosed tips feel a bit lower quality to me.
All in all I like these earbuds but I feel the price is a bit high for what you get (and don't get with the sweat resistance). I feel these would fit in around the 125-dollar range or so. Hope this helps.

One of the best smart tech devices of this year, hands down! The product comes in premium packaging and the overall look of the device is sleek and just right. Getting this cooker up and running was very pleasantly easy and after a quick firmware update, I had the product connected to my phone via Wifi (but can be Bluetooth also). One can either prepare a meal from the display on the cooker or from the app that has a plethora of recipes to try - all of which have been great thus far! I was pleasantly surprised that the cooker has scale built in which makes food preparation quite simple. Through the app, you can tell the cooker when to start cooking which is quite handy. I am truly impressed with this cooker and I have given away my original one to a neighbor as I prefer this product. Kudos to the developers and I feel they have winner on their hands. The only downside I see is that it is 6 quart in volume and there are other brands that make larger ones in case of a larger gathering or family size. Not a knock on the product though as this is their first "to market" product. Perhaps in the future they will consider 4qt and 8qt sizes.

This laptop definitely gives a great first impression. The watchband hinge is unique looking and reduces the wobble that plagues most 2-in-1 computers. The glass panel is elegant. The touchpad is apple quality.
However, one should not always judge a book by its cover. After using the laptop for a week, I noticed that the high-pitch fan kicks up at random times. It is also not a comfortable, low pitch hum that occasionally turns on like on my old macbook air which I considered in the past to be very noisy. It's more a like a high pitch kettle sound that's constantly on and throttles violently at times. Perhaps, if you're elderly or partially deaf, this will not bother you. Even the BIOS driver released in December 2016 did not help in my case. Actually, the fan ran 80% before the driver. Now, it runs literally 100% of the time. And FYI, I use the laptop mostly to watch youtube, take notes for class, and watch netflix.
When I was looking at the display model in the store, I asked the salesperson whether or not the laptop had an aggressively loud fan like some comments online had mentioned. He told me that the computer is silent because of the SSD which is a complete lie. Do not be fooled by claims that this laptop runs quietly. The only time this computer is silent is when it is turned off or in standby. I read in another review that the fan is only noisy for the first week of use because of some file management process that is beyond my understanding. But, I can assure you that the fan is still noisy after 1 week of use.
I expected loud fan noise during intensive processes like making a movie. But, I hear the fan screaming even when I only have one browser window open and gmail. Sadly, this supposedly flagship computer is best used at home or in private/ noisy places where sound isn't an issue. And even when watching netflix, I have always opted to use headphones because no one likes to watch tv/movies with constant whistling in the background.
I expected loud fan noise during intensive processes like making a movie. But, I hear the fan screaming even when I only have one browser window open and gmail. Another concern is the durability of the glass cover. I am very sad that my beautiful glass cover looks like a limited edition "spider web" now after just 1 week. I placed it on a stand to elevate the keyboard to a comfortable typing position. The stand tipped over backwards and the laptop pivoted off 4 inches. That was enough to shatter the entire back lid. Now I know why 99% of laptops don't use glass as the lid cover... So if you own or are considering this laptop, I would invest in the bestbuy protection plan or a screen protector because this glass lid is beautiful but not practical at all. And because the laptop is limited edition, Lenovo quoted an $800 price for the replacement part after 2 hours on hold... for that price I can buy a whole other laptop with multiple thunderbolt usb C, hdmi output, normal sized right shift key, active stylus compatibility.
If I could do it again, I might give the full HD standard aluminum version a chance. I really wanted a unique laptop, and unfortunately it didn't work out well for me. Sometimes it is better to be practical. I would go for a metal laptop with certain features that this laptop lacked: latest thunderbolt capable usb C, >6 hr of real world use, hdmi or mini display port of some sort, SD card reader, and larger right shift key.

I have found this computer to be just about perfect, especially after my updates to BIOS and all other drivers. Runs super quiet and fan kicks in quietly once every hour or so and when does, it is certainly not loud. See my review for what I did after purchase...it makes ALL the difference to the performance!
