Blink Mini 2 — Plug-in smart security camera, HD night view in color, built-in spotlight, two-way audio, motion detection, Works with Alexa (White) - 1 Camera

I have been with the Blink ecosystem now for 3 years as a security solution for my primary home in Kansas as well as my vacation home in Colorado. Even with the very harsh winter conditions in the mountains, the Blink cameras have performed flawlessly.
When this product came out, I was excited as it can be used indoor and outdoor and has enhanced features over the original blink mini.
Set-up, as always with the Blink cameras was quick and easy and I added it to my Kansas home in about 2 minutes.
I opted to install this outdoors on my patio to test the nighttime color HD features as well as the motion detection. Both features performed amazingly well and the recorded video clips on my Blink app account were crystal clear. With temperature ratings from -5 degrees F to 122 degrees F, this will do just fine in the Kansas home location. I will test this in the Colorado home this upcoming winter where temps get down to -20 degrees F. I have the outdoor Blink cameras (not the mini) at that location and they perform just fine in that weather. I suspect this will do so as well.
Overall, at this price, this is a very nice upgrade from the mini 1 and I would recommend it to any for a great ecosystem and low cost solution for home security.

I have always been a fan of a minimalistic form factor as well as smaller sized laptops / ultrabooks and this unit is simply exceptional in its appearance.
Unboxing - this unit showed premium packaging and included in the box: laptop, 60W charger, dongle (USB-c to USB-A/HDMI).
Initial impression of the laptop – I will have to admit that it takes a lot to impress me after having numerous high-end laptops in my years, but this unit truly makes quite the impression. The infinity edge of the screen is almost bezel-less as advertised. The keys of the keyboard are not raised but flush with the chassis to give a very nice, minimalistic appearance to the keyboard. The keys of the keyboard are also gapless and larger than most laptop keys in this size. The haptic glass touchpad is also seamless and invisible. This took a minute to get used to as one is used to seeing the touchpad but after a few minutes it was readily apparent that I had zero misses on the trackpad. Simply a beautiful design.
Ports – This unit has 3, thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a headphone jack as well as a micro-SD card slot which I certainly appreciate as I take a lot of landscape photographs and find it much easier to simply insert my card and transfer files. This unit also comes with the dongle as mentioned above which I prefer over having a dedicated USB-A (antiquated) and HDMI. I feel this helps to minimize the size of the chassis required. I tested both of the dongle ports and they worked flawlessly.
Sound – Overall I feel this performed as well as any of my other ultrabooks – it won’t blow you out of the water but performs well in average use scenarios.
Screen – Simply stunning and I feel the best I have seen on a laptop. The colors are bright, the blacks are deep black and color representation is top notch on this 3.2K OLED. I did some work outside on a nice sunny day and had no problems with seeing the screen – with brightness at about 80%. One cannot possibly be disappointed in this category.
Battery Life – No problems here as I was able to get a solid 7-8 hours of moderate usage without difficulty. I do not know of many that need more than this at a sitting and intermittent charging (which is quite fast with the 60W charger) is standard for most laptop users.
Performance – I put this unit to a four-hour test with various modalities of usage (video, audio, photo management, daily work and email tasks, web browsing etc. I did not once hear the fan engage and the laptop remained cool to touch throughout. The 32Gb RAM performed flawlessly for multiple tasks opened at the same time and the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor was up to the task for everything thrown at it. The side venting works very well as I was able to use this on my lap without the unit getting warm. Overall, I am very pleased with this units’ capabilities and performance. Please note that I am not a gamer so I did not test the capabilities in that arena.
Last Impression – I think it will be very difficult to find many flaws with this Dell offering and I would have to give this a 10/10 for what I use a laptop to do. Simply a beautiful machine!

I have had many massagers in my years to help with post cycling and running workouts, most of them corded. I am simply amazed at the power that this cordless massager can produce. I have had the opportunity to use this now every day for a week and I cannot even use it on its most powerful setting. I hover around setting 3 - 4 (6 is the max). The Heat and cold function work very very well and while I prefer heat, the unit can get sufficiently cold when needed. There are three different heat and 3 different cold settings to choose from. I have had the opportunity to try all the attachments but I prefer the one that was attached when unboxed which is the hot/cold "ball". Charging this unit is simple with the now industry standard USB-C and takes approximately 90 minutes to charge fully. I found that I had to charge it after day 4 of use while using the unit approximately 30 minutes with each use. Thank you Sharper Image for not having your own proprietary charging port!! The unit gets aa bit heavy after 20-30 minutes of use as this is a very solid and well built product. I highly recommend this product as it functions as advertised. I do not think one can be disappointed in this offering.

I have had the opportunity to use this Bella Pro Series Combo Coffee Maker for a full week now and love the versatility of this machine. The black color with brushed silver color accent is a nice touch and visually appealing. It should fit well into any décor.
On my early work days, I use the single serve K-cup option to brew a very fast cup of joe in just a couple minutes. It brews at a very nice temperature without any “burnt” coffee taste that some of my other makers have done in the past. The unit also comes with a reusuable k-cup basket in case you want to ground your own coffee beans and use in that manner.
Brewing the full 12 cup carafe was also very very quick. At first I felt it was too quick for the water and coffee grounds to produce a good quality coffee. I was certainly wrong as it tasted wonderful.
For the price, this a quality, capable machine, especially to brew large 12 cups at a time.
Just a couple things to note – there is o clock and no timer so if you need these, look elsewhere. I simply used a smart plug to brew on a timer – works perfectly.
I would recommend this product as I have enjoyed the taste of this coffee.

I have now had the opportunity to explore all the features of this watch for 3 full days and have it paired with my Google Pixel 7 Pro phone. The packaging is nicely minimalistic and inside you will find the watch, charging cable (one end attaches to the watch, the other is a USB-C – so you will need a charging brick to use). Also included is a quick start guide as well as an extra larger band if needed, I found the smaller one was adequate.
The pairing process was relatively seamless by using the Pixel Watch app downloaded from the Google Play store. The first time the watch could not pair to the app so I had to factory reset the watch and then try again. The second time went smoothly. The app walks you through a tutorial of the watch which is a nice touch to understand some of the features.
The design of the watch is pleasant (I have the black case, black band) and the smooth round surface is visually appealing. Surprisingly it does not seem to garner fingerprints as much as my other high-end smartwatch from a different manufacturer. I find the size of 41 mm misses the mark for “the perfect size for all” mentality that google has decided to go with. I understand that they did lots of research on the best size for all but it is simply too small (I am an average size male at 5’10, 165 lbs). In my own opinion, I think that 43-44 mm size would be the ideal size if one is going to go with only one size form factor. Almost all other manufacturers of higher end smart watches offer two size options so there definitely must be a market for it. Google missed the mark here by not offering 2 different sizes.
Using the watch is a very nice experience and I enjoy the crown acting as a scroll tool for reading text larger than the screen. It works very well. Choosing different watch faces is extremely easy and you can edit all the faces to your own liking (color, applications shown etc.) Connecting my earbuds from a different brand was simply and they connect automatically when I play music. Adding my google wallet info to pay with the watch took all of 1 minute – once my bank verified the use of the card on the watch – good to go. Used the watch to pay for 3 items yesterday and it worked each time flawlessly. Adding tiles (that you swipe right to left) was also simple and took about 1 minute. Adding apps was seamless through the play store on the watch – I added Amazon music, Spotify, YouTube Music and Gmail.
Regarding the Music apps – Amazon Music simply does not work. I have used this music service for many years on many watches and phones so it is not new user error. When the app is pressed it does nothing. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it to no avail. I even factory reset the watch to see if it was a minor glitch but nothing. YouTube music requires premium service to use ($11 per month) on the watch – which I do have and it works well. Spotify works very well and you can download playlists to the phone very easily in case you are without Wifi. My watch does not have LTE so this a necessity for listening to music on the go.
Fitness integration is nice through Fitbit and all one needs to do is pair the FitBit app to the watch. It accurately measured my walks and runs through the built in GPS in the watch. It does a whole host of other “health feature items” that I suspect most people will not use but they are there if you need them.
All in all, I think this is a solid offering from Google in it’s second iteration and has all the features of a high end smart watch. I feel it needs a larger size option and some work on the Amazon Music App as noted. This will be a nice addition for those with a smaller wrist.

Simply another superb product from Ninja! I’ve had a chance to use this product now for about a month and have cooked numerous meals from the recipe book that this product contains inside. It is rather quite amazing that it cooks different items at the same time and does it very well!
The unit is very solidly built and comes with a crisper pan, bake pan and the combi pan, all of which seem to be made with the same quality as the unit itself.
I have tried just about all the settings on this unit over the month and after the first few meals I got the hang of the machine quickly enough to not have to refer to the operating instructions. Having made about 15 of the meals in the handy recipe book, I can safely say that they all turned out wonderful except for one little mishap on my part during making a pizza. I was skeptical that one could cook chicken or fish on one tray and potatoes, pasta, vegetables on another and have it come out cooked well and finish at the same time. This unit performs very well on both aspects. After the above mentioned meals, I have experimented with my own recipes and cook times which have also come out well.
On a side note, I have an adult son with special needs who does not use a stovetop or oven but cooks with an air fryer and microwave on his own. I taught him some simple recipes using this machine and he loves using it. As we begin transitioning him to his own place with our help, this unit will be going with him so he can make his favorite meals.
All in all, Ninja has a winner with this product!

Superb and Industry First with Immersive Audio

Bose has outdone themselves here with this new ultra QuietComfort earbud! I have owned many high-end earbuds from different manufacturers all in the 250 – 350-dollar range. I have to say, with clarity, that these are the best of the best and better than the previous iteration of Bose QuietComfort earbuds.
Unboxing this product showed minimalistic packaging which I certainly appreciated. Inside the packaging are the earbuds in the charging case, quick start guide and very short usb-c cable to charge.
Fitting these earbuds to my own ear size was simple – I tried all three sizes included but the medium size that are installed on arrival were the best and most comfortable.
Getting these up and running was a breeze and while there are numerous ways to get these connected to the phone, I chose to do it through the Bose music app as recommended. I simply scanned the QR code inside the packaging and it gets you to the app set up. All in all, it took about 3 minutes to get them connected and once connected, there is a simple tutorial on how to use the various features.
Operating the earbuds is extremely simple from volume control (swipe up or down on the unit), play /pause (single tap) skipping forward to the next track (double tap), previous track (triple tap) etc. Answering phone calls that come in – single tap to answer, double tap to end I chose a shortcut for each earbud which operates by a simple single long tap– the left earbud set to cycle through the noise cancel modes (Quiet, Aware, Immersion or custom setting)– the right earbud cycles though the Immersive Audio modes (Still, Motion, Off).
Noice cancellation – simply unbelievable! For full noise cancellation I like the NC set to Immersion with the Immersive audio set to Motion. I can then listen to music in Immersive Audio with the benefit of full noise cancellation. When I need to be able to hear my surroundings, I long press my left earbud to set noise cancellation to Aware. Simply works beautifully.
Sound – Again – just amazing. I took a few hours to set my own equalizer settings that I personally like. Out of the box, the sound is wonderful but a bit base heavy for my taste. Through the app, one can dial in the sound to their own personal preference. This of course will be different for everyone, but I am confident everyone should be able to get the sound they desire.
Battery – Just about exactly what Bose stated they would be – 4 hours if listening with Immersive Audio – 6 hours if this is toggled off. Recharging was adequate and you can get to 50% in 20 minutes or so, full charge about 50 minutes. The case holds 3 extra charges. The case cannot charge wirelessly (unless you buy the $50 wireless charging case cover) but does have USB-C.
Immersive Audio – An industry first! When set to Motion - Audio sounds like it is coming from two stereo speakers in front of you that follow the movements of your head (Use for the most consistent experience. Best for when you are doing activities that require you to frequently turn your head or look down). When set to Still - Audio sounds like it's coming from two stereo speakers in front of you that stay where they are when you move your head (Use for the most realistic and powerful experience. Best for when you're stationary). When set to Off - Audio sounds like it's coming from your earbuds (Use when you want a classic listening experience or want to conserve battery life).
I personally like Immersive Audio On – either Motion or Still – yes uses more battery but it sounds amazing!
In short – these are simply superb and definitely worth the dollar amount if it fits your budget. My only negative – at this price point, the case should be capable of wireless charging. You will not be disappointed by this offering from Bose.

Getting these up and running was a breeze and while there are numerous ways to get these connected to the phone, I chose to do it through the Bose music app as recommended. I simply scanned the QR code inside the packaging and it gets you to the app set up. All in all, it took about 3 minutes to get them connected and once connected, there is a simple tutorial on how to use the various features.
Operating the earbuds is extremely simple from volume control (swipe up or down on the unit), play /pause (single tap) skipping forward to the next track (double tap), previous track (triple tap) etc. Answering phone calls that come in – single tap to answer, double tap to end I chose a shortcut for each earbud which operates by a simple single long tap– the left earbud set to cycle through the noise cancel modes (Quiet, Aware, Immersion or custom setting)– the right earbud cycles though the Immersive Audio modes (Still, Motion, Off).
Noice cancellation – simply unbelievable! For full noise cancellation I like the NC set to Immersion with the Immersive audio set to Motion. I can then listen to music in Immersive Audio with the benefit of full noise cancellation. When I need to be able to hear my surroundings, I long press my left earbud to set noise cancellation to Aware. Simply works beautifully.
Sound – Again – just amazing. I took a few hours to set my own equalizer settings that I personally like. Out of the box, the sound is wonderful but a bit base heavy for my taste. Through the app, one can dial in the sound to their own personal preference. This of course will be different for everyone, but I am confident everyone should be able to get the sound they desire.
Battery – Just about exactly what Bose stated they would be – 4 hours if listening with Immersive Audio – 6 hours if this is toggled off. Recharging was adequate and you can get to 50% in 20 minutes or so, full charge about 50 minutes. The case holds 3 extra charges. The case cannot charge wirelessly (unless you buy the $50 wireless charging case cover) but does have USB-C.
Immersive Audio – An industry first! When set to Motion - Audio sounds like it is coming from two stereo speakers in front of you that follow the movements of your head (Use for the most consistent experience. Best for when you are doing activities that require you to frequently turn your head or look down). When set to Still - Audio sounds like it's coming from two stereo speakers in front of you that stay where they are when you move your head (Use for the most realistic and powerful experience. Best for when you're stationary). When set to Off - Audio sounds like it's coming from your earbuds (Use when you want a classic listening experience or want to conserve battery life).
I personally like Immersive Audio On – either Motion or Still – yes uses more battery but it sounds amazing!
In short – these are simply superb and definitely worth the dollar amount if it fits your budget. My only negative – at this price point, the case should be capable of wireless charging. You will not be disappointed by this offering from Bose.

I received this unit a little over a week ago and I wanted to put it through the paces, especially for pizza, before I reviewed it. While awaiting the arrival of this unit, I researched numerous recipes for the best flour for pizza dough, how to proof the dough, sauce, basil, etc. By the time this unit arrived, I was ready.
Unboxing the product was straight forward and the unit was a lot heavier than anticipated. The fit finish and color are simply stellar. I opted to purchase the not included pizza stand for which the product fit perfectly. Inside the box were the oven, pizza stone, metal tray that the pizza stone goes on and a baking tray. Also included were a quick start recipe guide for dough and a booklet for recipes. All great quality.
Using this oven could not get any easier. Selecting between the different cooking modes was simple and setting the correct time to cook, equally easy. The different cooking settings were as follows: Pizza, Max Roast, Specialty Roast, Broil, Bake, Smoker, Dehydrate and Keep Warm.
First pizza was a Neapolitan style (can’t be called Neapolitan due to inability to cook at between the international guidelines of 806F to 896F – also needs to be a wood fire oven). Please do not think this is a negative for this product. I used a reputable Cavuto Pizzeria flour – 00, salt, water, and Caputo dry yeast. Prep of the dough was about 15 minutes, kneading 12 minutes, proofing 2 hours. Dough weight at 235g. For my sauce I used Rao’s Marinara, and of course thick cut fresh mozzarella. I did add basil after cooking (always debatable but I simply enjoy it). I then preheated the pizza oven to 700F and during this, I made the pizza – it took about 20 minutes for the oven to preheat. This gave time for some extra kneading and working the dough into a 12-inch pizza. Lightly floured my pizza peel with semolina, adder the sauce and mozzarella and was ready to cook. The setting for Neapolitan was 700F for 3 minutes. I took it out after 2 minutes 35 seconds and it was perfect. If I waited the extra time, the crust would have burnt. I then added my 6 leaves of basil and let it rest for 3 minutes. My family of 5 including 3 very opinionated teenagers and my wife all had a slice and said it was the best pizza they ever had. I know they are biased, so I made three more and asked my neighbors to try it – and they said the same. Clearly this machine makes a great Neapolitan style pizza.
Second pizza the next day was NY Style, then I tried the deep dish, then the thin crust. With the exception of the thin crust (my fault – burned the crust as my watch timer failed) all of them were just amazing. The cook times, settings, and temps were different for all the pizza styles and this product performed flawlessly.
Yesterday I ventured out to try the smoker aspect (came with a starter pack of all-purpose pellets). I opted for 2 racks of ribs and followed the directions in the included booklet. The pellet loader was rather small, and I had to reload the pellets every 50 minutes as the smoking became less effective over time due to the small loader size. The result was also wonderful, and the smoker did what it was supposed to do. The ribs were delicious.
All-in-all I cannot recommend this product enough. Everything prepared thus far was simply amazing. My only negative – They put stickers on the unit that took 20 minutes to remove with Goo Gone. I wish companies would realize how frustrating these are for consumers. They are absolutely unnecessary – all that info is in the user guide.

I have used this in my home office now for a little over a week and it was replacing an aging HP Laserjet. All in all - I am super impressed with this offering from HP. From unboxing to having this product up and running took all of about 10 minutes. The majority of the time was installing the software. Connecting to my wireless network went without a hitch and the small but useful touchpad was easy to operate. The software allows for a whole host of operations from printing, scanning photoprint etc as well as a very useful shortcut feature for jobs you perform repetitively. The HP Smart software is also and app for android. This allows for the full software suite directly from your phone. I found the app version very useful and functional as well. Printing from computer to the printer at home was fast and reliable. Scanning a document does not require lifting the lid to place document on the glass scanner. Instead, you simply feed the document to be scanned in the top loader tray and it scans flawlessly. I have not needed the fax function (does anyone fax anymore?). All in all this is a solid functional printer without any headaches to set up. My only negative is the power button stays on with a very bright light - as the printer is in my master bedroom area home office, I had to put a piece of black tape over the power button to eliminate the beacon at night. Simple fix but I could not find anywhere in the settings to turn this light off.

I know purchasing a surge protecting outlet extender is not the sexiest of technology buys, but let me tell you - this product is simply a winner. The design is novel and I have not seen anything like this product on the market. Who knew that having rotating outlets would be such a great idea? Apparently, the design team of 360 Electrical did as this product is fantastic. Having the rotating outlets allows for no tension on the cords themselves of the products one is plugging in - this should protect the cord from damage if you have a product with a stiff cord but needs to flex a bit to be plugged in. The ability to have 60 watt charging to do a modern powerful laptop within this design is wonderful and so very needed in today's technology world of ever increasing power demands. Having the surge protection built in is the icing on the cake. The two USB ports are also needed in todays products as most everything we buy these days is USB-C plug in.
All in all, this produce is simply superb!

This laptop definitely gives a great first impression. The watchband hinge is unique looking and reduces the wobble that plagues most 2-in-1 computers. The glass panel is elegant. The touchpad is apple quality.
However, one should not always judge a book by its cover. After using the laptop for a week, I noticed that the high-pitch fan kicks up at random times. It is also not a comfortable, low pitch hum that occasionally turns on like on my old macbook air which I considered in the past to be very noisy. It's more a like a high pitch kettle sound that's constantly on and throttles violently at times. Perhaps, if you're elderly or partially deaf, this will not bother you. Even the BIOS driver released in December 2016 did not help in my case. Actually, the fan ran 80% before the driver. Now, it runs literally 100% of the time. And FYI, I use the laptop mostly to watch youtube, take notes for class, and watch netflix.
When I was looking at the display model in the store, I asked the salesperson whether or not the laptop had an aggressively loud fan like some comments online had mentioned. He told me that the computer is silent because of the SSD which is a complete lie. Do not be fooled by claims that this laptop runs quietly. The only time this computer is silent is when it is turned off or in standby. I read in another review that the fan is only noisy for the first week of use because of some file management process that is beyond my understanding. But, I can assure you that the fan is still noisy after 1 week of use.
I expected loud fan noise during intensive processes like making a movie. But, I hear the fan screaming even when I only have one browser window open and gmail. It can get pretty annoying in quiet places, so I no longer can work in quiet libraries. Sadly, this supposedly flagship computer is best used at home or in private/ noisy places where sound isn't an issue. And even when watching netflix, I have always opted to use headphones because no one likes to watch tv/movies with constant whistling in the background.

Another concern is the durability of the glass cover. I am very sad that my beautiful glass cover looks like a limited edition "spider web" now after just 1 week. I placed it on a stand to elevate the keyboard to a comfortable typing position. The stand tipped over backwards and the laptop pivoted off 4 inches. That was enough to shatter the entire back lid. Now I know why 99% of laptops don't use glass as the lid cover... So if you own or are considering this laptop, I would invest in the bestbuy protection plan or a screen protector because this glass lid is beautiful but not practical at all. And because the laptop is limited edition, Lenovo quoted an $800 price for the replacement part after 2 hours on hold... for that price I can buy a whole other laptop with multiple thunderbolt usb C, hdmi output, normal sized right shift key, active stylus compatibility.
If I could do it again, I might give the full HD standard aluminum version a chance. I really wanted a unique laptop, and unfortunately it didn't work out well for me. Sometimes it is better to be practical. I would go for a metal laptop with certain features that this laptop lacked: latest thunderbolt capable usb C, >6 hr of real world use, hdmi or mini display port of some sort, SD card reader, and larger right shift key.

I have found this computer to be just about perfect, especially after my updates to BIOS and all other drivers. Runs super quiet and fan kicks in quietly once every hour or so and when does, it is certainly not loud. See my review for what I did after purchase...it makes ALL the difference to the performance!
