I have had this computer now for just about a week and have used it as my daily driver for the entirety of the week - both home and business. Coming from a four-month-old high end 14-inch Ultrabook from a competitor that cost $500 more than this machine, I was not expecting too very much. Unbelievably, this machine kept pace with my other laptop beautifully.
The new aluminum chassis is elegant and is what allows for the weight to be kept to a very low 3.5 pounds. The color, in my opinion, is very nice and has a modern etching on the front. The screen is simply superb as an OLED should be and gets as bright as you would need it to be. I have used this outside in the sun as well and had the screen to about 85% max in order to see properly. The colors on this OLED simply pop. The backlit keyboard functions well and the white letters on black keyboard is always my preference for easy viewing. This machine has all the necessary ports that one could want - two thunderbolt USB-C, one USB A, and HDMI - hard to find a laptop with all these in a compact form factor such as this Asus. The sound on this Asus is acceptable and on par with other Ultrabooks I have owned.
Setting up this machine was typical of every new product - updates upon updates that take about 30 minutes. Once this was complete and I uninstalled all the ridiculous bloatware that all machines come with, this machine boots up as fast as any laptop I have owned.
There are only two "negatives" I can come up with regarding this Asus. First is the case is sa bit of a fingerprint collector. Nothing a microfiber cloth can't take care of. Second, there is no USB port on the left side of the laptop - my preference is to have one on each side.
All in all, you cannot be disappointed in this machine for it's price point. I highly recommend this Asus! I like it so much, I gave my 4 month old competitor Ultrabook to my daughter.

I have used this vacuum now for just over a week, daily in my 4 bedroom home with various floor surfaces - carpet, tile, hardwood, porcelain and stone. This machine is extremely powerful and I very rarely had to pass twice on the same area of cleaning. The head swivels nicely and easily on all the surfaces and of course on carpet, it needed a lot more arm power to maneuver the vacuum - nothing taxing by any means as the vacuum is quite light. I have no pets so I cannot speak to the power of the pet hair removal task - but I do have 3 teenagers that can make quite a mess - and the vacuum performed perfectly in their carpeted rooms. The tested machine came with 2 attachments - a crevice tool and a combination tool - both of which I found very useful and easy to swap out. It was nice to be able to use them to clean my cars carpets and tight to reach spots. The only negative to these tools is that there is nowhere to store them on the charging base. There is certainly room on the base to have had a place to put them. The fit and finish of this is quite pleasing and looks great out in the open. Using the one button cleaning of the unit worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this vacuum!

I have owned both the MX anywhere 2 and the master 3s and now have the privilege to own this MX3s. If you have never experienced a mouse that can be used on any surface (including glass) you have been likely very frustrated at times with your mouse. When logitech says "anywhere" they mean it. I have tested this MX3s on granite, carpet, concrete sidewalk, couch, and bed linens. This mouse never misses a beat and tracks so incredibly fast and accurate. I tried my best to make it fail to do so but actually, I failed. I am happy to say they updated the charging to the more industry standard USB type c. This should allow faster charging and while I have not tested this yet - I have used this as my main mouse for 7 full days at work - 8 hours a day and the charge is still at 50%. The fit and finish are what you would expect from Logitech - premium feel, weight and hand position. All buttons are customizable which is a plus. A nice compact design which can fir it any backpack or bag easily. Logitech never disappoints with their mice - they simply just work; all the time and the battery lasts a long time. You won't be displeased.

Let me start by saying that I am not a professional hair stylist, but I have been cutting hair for 20 years. I have had many products over the years and have usually gone with the Wahl brand but this time I was interested in this product from Conair. I am one to like a good bit of weight to the unit and this certainly fits the bill without being top heavy....it is nicely balanced. The grip is textured such that one does not feel as if the product will slip out of the hand, especially when rounding the corners of the ears. I have now cut 12 individual's hair with this item and the various size guards are on par with my previous units from other brands I have used. There is a nice micro adjuster on the unit to dial in the correct length required. Once charged, the unit lasted for approximately 5 full cuts at about 15 minutes per cut which I felt was more than adequate. Charging was relatively quick from dead to full in 1.5 hours. Cutting hair and adjusting lengths was smooth and quick and I rarely needed to go over a section again, except for those with curly hair. The only negative here is the micro USB charging port. It is outdated and no one uses it anymore (nor wants to) as the USB C standard was adopted. While it's an afterthought for most companies, it is not an afterthought for consumers. Simply put...everyone wants to charge their devices with one cable...phone, hair clipper, etc., etc. I'm pretty sure that not one person would say they like having an antiquated cable to charge a new device. Personally, I have no devices in my home that require the old USB micro so this will require me pulling out this cable to charge this device. Overall, this is a wonderful product and works as well as some other high ended products I have cut hair with so as long as you are good with the charger, I feel you will not be disappointed. The included lubrication oil is small so be prepared to get a larger bottle of the oi of your choice as this is important for keeping the cutters moving fluidly.

Upgrading my home mesh Wifi from a 4 unit mesh from the big G to this Eero system with 3 units. Unbelievable difference in Wifi range, connectivity and speed!
Unboxing this unit – this package includes the 3 mesh Wifi units, power cords and ethernet cable. The white eero units are like any other mesh unit - small footprint – with 2 ethernet ports on each unit and the power supply port.
Setting up this system was ridiculously easy through the Eero app, which I find to be very pleasing and easy to use without using the paid service they tout. It’s simply not necessary.
I decided to go ahead with the recommendations to name the Wifi the same as my previous one such that all the devices would simply connect to the new eero system. I have a smart home setup with over 60 connected devices and all of them connected flawlessly.
While there are not many products out there that support 6e technology yet, they will likely come fast and furious as the tech standard evolves so this will be future proof for some time to come.
Now to the fun part – the speeds on the system are simply phenomenal. I have G-fiber gigabit speed to the house and I have now doubled my download and upload speeds – download went from 450 to 900 and upload went from 260 to 550. My home is roughly 3000sq ft and there is not one dead spot. I can connect to this system from the end of my cul de sac which is about a football field length away. Simply stellar product!
The only negative to this – and this is just personal choice – I wish it was sold in black as the white units simply don’t blend with anything you put them on – very few people have white furniture.
I cannot recommend this system highly enough!

Since this product looks like Darth Vader's helmet, I will start this review with - Impressive, Most Impressive! I was looking for a product that was simple to use without a large amount of digital items I did not want or need, was cost effective, and produced results of frying that I wanted. This product fit the bill perfectly and honestly, I am not sure why anyone would want or need a more expensive product in this arena. I have tested this item with regular french fries, potato wedges, hot dogs, sweet potato fries and my very favorite thus far – eggplant wedges. All the cooked items were crispy and exactly as a fryer product should be. I found that heating up the fryer for a couple minutes first produced better results and I also found that cooking at about 380 degrees was ideal. The dial is easy to read and this is a no-nonsense product that simply performs perfectly. Cleaning was super easy thanks to the nonstick coating which did not need a large amount of scrubbing. I highly recommend this product!

Wow, what a difference this 3 – in – 1 makes! I use this in a home that is surrounded by dust due to home building ad nauseum and opening our doors causes dust to come in from the outside. My wife and I were constantly dusting our great room (every second day) to keep things clean. I set up this product in the great room (which is approximately 600 sq feet) right after we dusted. It has been a week now and we have not had to dust this room – the proof is in the pudding. In testing the thermostat and heat elements, I closed off the great room doors and set the thermostat to a higher level than my home thermostat. This unit easily kept the great room at the desired temp while the rest of the house was the temperature of the home thermostat – very nice feature to have on those cold wintery nights coming! The unit comes with a handy remote that magnetically sets to the main unit so it can’t get lost. The lights on the unit can be dimmed easily and is not obnoxious at night to wake anyone. The unit runs quietly enough with soft hum that is like white noise which I actually find soothing, although that is subjective, of course. All in all, this product is fabulous and fit my needs perfectly for what I wanted/needed. I highly recommend this product!

Capable Vacuum Once Connection Issue Resolved

I received this robot vacuum approximately 2 weeks ago and had to wait to review this product due to connection issues. Once the Shark Ion Robot was successfully connected to both the app and Wi-Fi it performed extremely well. Through the app one can set a schedule for cleaning, set max clean vs regular clean, start clean, stop clean and dock the robot. I tested the robot on regular clean setting on my hardwood floor in my downstairs, approximately 1000 sq feet. I put all the kitchen chairs and stools up on the table to get a thorough clean. I threw some extra dirt, sesame seeds, and sand on the floor in random areas to test it’s pick up power. It ran for about 70 minutes and to my surprise, the floor was completely clean except for the corners and under my kitchen cabinets as the robot was too tall to get under it. The rest of the floor was immaculate and the battery dtill had 50%. I then tested this on my upstairs carpet (approx. 800 sq feet) on max setting and it performed equally as well. It drained the battery a bit more and after a 50 min run time, it was at 50%. I tested the docking of the robot by putting it as far away from the dock station as possible and it found the dock within 2 minutes and docked perfectly.
I will need to take off a star due to the connection issues, something that should not happen this day and age. I tried this in my 2 different homes that have different WIFI’s, with 2 different cell phones, did all the troubleshooting items recommended on the Shark website (reboot router, modem, cell phone and disabling 5GH band on router) to no avail. Called Shark customer service and spent 30 minutes on the phone going through the steps I already tried. As I was getting elevated to a higher tech support, the phone call was disconnected and when I called back, I had to go through everything again (another 30 minutes. I was finally escalated to the higher tech support and was told I would receive a phone call in 24-48 hours. I received the call in 48 hours, while at work and when I called back, I was told it would be another 24-48 hours to receive a phone call. Not the best customer service. I finally did receive that second phone call and the higher tech support was able to troubleshoot the issue by going to a specific website through a browser.
Is it a good product, yes. Do I recommend the product for basic robot vacuum cleaning, yes. But the customer service – simply disappointing.

This is our second Shark vacuum that we have owned, and this unit is by far, the best vacuum we have ever owned. The suction power on this unit is far superior to the other model and better than another competitor's product of similar specifications and price. The ease of use of this well-balanced machine makes getting under furniture quite easy with minimal bending over. Going around items and furniture pieces is an absolute breeze as the unit head swivels perfectly with minimal force needed to make it move/turn. The bonus of this machine is that one can detach the unit at the base and carry the catch basin to get to hard-to-reach areas such as stairs, tops of window sills etc. It excels in picking up hair from my constantly shedding teenage daughter and the self-cleaning brush roll works as advertised – I have not had to untangle the roll as of a week of daily use. The odor neutralizing technology actually does function and work as advertised.
Overall – this is a vacuum that performs as a vacuum should – great suction, ease of maneuverability, limited maintenance and ability to detach to reach hard places. I would highly recommend this product. A bit pricey, of course, but the old saying applies here – you get what you pay for!

Upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 to the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 pro and I am happy to say that I am extremely pleased! I have used the new Watch 5 pro now for 4 days and the battery life is 30-40% better than the Watch 4.
I have had almost every iteration of the Galaxy Watch series and was always wanting just a little bit more…. better screen, more rugged design, longer battery life, more health monitoring…etc. I was always trying to compare this to the latest fruit product. This week, I can finally say that I have finally found the watch to meet my needs and compare with the competitor!
Unboxing this product showed a much more robust packaging that the Galaxy Watch 4. It came with the watch, charging pad/cable and instructions. Nothing especially special but functional.
As I was upgrading from the Watch 4, there was no need to use the charging pad as it is the same in every way. I’ll keep the new one in a safe place in case I lose the other.
Using the Galaxy Wear app on my One plus phone I was easily able to remove my Galaxy Watch 4, add the 5 Pro and switch my LTE plan (t-mobile) from the 4 to the 5 Pro within 2 minutes. Everything was up and running within 10 minutes of unboxing.
Pros
1. Beautiful AMOLED screen and love the titanium bezel, slightly raised to the point that I will not put a protector on the sapphire glass – it would be hard to scratch it or hit it without a direct blunt force hit.
2. Size is perfect and I was concerned that this would be a bit too large in both width and thickness but placing my watch 4 on top of the 5 Pro showed the to be the same size in width for the most part. Thickness on the 5 Pro is 1.5mm more, considerable, yes, noticeable, not so much. At 5 foot 10 this fit perfectly.
3. Battery life is looking to be about 3 days based on my usage.
4. Ease of adding apps such as Google Assistant, Spotify, YouTube Music…. all easy and work flawlessly with my accounts.
Cons
1. The watch band included that has the magnetic clasp closure is, well, not great. Hard to dial in to the correct fit and not the easiest to charge when it is taken off. Watch charger is the flat disc. Watch with the included strap on is circular. Reminds me of the movie Apollo 13 – need to fit a circular CO2 scrubber in a square hole. Just does not work well. I immediately changed out the strap to a generic after-market strap and works perfectly. The original strap also does not allow the watch to lay flat and close to the wrist due to the rigidity and the aftermarket one for $5 dollars – perfect. Same problem with the Watch 4 regarding the close fit so not a big deal breaker as it is a cheap fix and some may enjoy that type of rigid fit that the watch comes with.

Unfortunately, Google Pay (now Google Wallet) does not have functionality yet for the 5 series (and never did not work on my Watch 4 either despite my best attempts – and yes tried everything including tech support – they could not figure it out either). Thankfully Samsung Pay works on my non-Samsung phone/watch and I can pay easily at NFC terminals with the 5 Pro (as I could with my Watch 4).

1. Beautiful AMOLED screen and love the titanium bezel, slightly raised to the point that I will not put a protector on the sapphire glass – it would be hard to scratch it or hit it without a direct blunt force hit.
2. Size is perfect and I was concerned that this would be a bit too large in both width and thickness but placing my watch 4 on top of the 5 Pro showed the to be the same size in width for the most part. Thickness on the 5 Pro is 1.5mm more, considerable, yes, noticeable, not so much. At 5 foot 10 this fit perfectly.
3. Battery life is looking to be about 3 days based on my usage.
4. Ease of adding apps such as Google Assistant, Spotify, YouTube Music…. all easy and work flawlessly with my accounts.
Cons
1. The watch band included that has the magnetic clasp closure is, well, not great. Hard to dial in to the correct fit and not the easiest to charge when it is taken off. Watch charger is the flat disc. Watch with the included strap on is circular. Reminds me of the movie Apollo 13 – need to fit a circular CO2 scrubber in a square hole. Just does not work well. I immediately changed out the strap to a generic after-market strap and works perfectly. The original strap also does not allow the watch to lay flat and close to the wrist due to the rigidity and the aftermarket one for $5 dollars – perfect. Same problem with the Watch 4 regarding the close fit so not a big deal breaker as it is a cheap fix and some may enjoy that type of rigid fit that the watch comes with.
2. Unfortunately, Google Pay (now Google Wallet) does not have functionality yet for the 5 series (and never did not work on my Watch 4 either despite my best attempts – and yes tried everything including tech support – they could not figure it out either). Thankfully Samsung Pay works on my non-Samsung phone/watch and I can pay easily at NFC terminals with the 5 Pro (as I could with my Watch 4).
Overall, I can say that this is a worthy upgrade with only minor issues to deal with, likely to improve with updates. I recommend this highly.

This laptop definitely gives a great first impression. The watchband hinge is unique looking and reduces the wobble that plagues most 2-in-1 computers. The glass panel is elegant. The touchpad is apple quality.
However, one should not always judge a book by its cover. After using the laptop for a week, I noticed that the high-pitch fan kicks up at random times. It is also not a comfortable, low pitch hum that occasionally turns on like on my old macbook air which I considered in the past to be very noisy. It's more a like a high pitch kettle sound that's constantly on and throttles violently at times. Perhaps, if you're elderly or partially deaf, this will not bother you. Even the BIOS driver released in December 2016 did not help in my case. Actually, the fan ran 80% before the driver. Now, it runs literally 100% of the time. And FYI, I use the laptop mostly to watch youtube, take notes for class, and watch netflix.
When I was looking at the display model in the store, I asked the salesperson whether or not the laptop had an aggressively loud fan like some comments online had mentioned. He told me that the computer is silent because of the SSD which is a complete lie. Do not be fooled by claims that this laptop runs quietly. The only time this computer is silent is when it is turned off or in standby. I read in another review that the fan is only noisy for the first week of use because of some file management process that is beyond my understanding. But, I can assure you that the fan is still noisy after 1 week of use.
I expected loud fan noise during intensive processes like making a movie. But, I hear the fan screaming even when I only have one browser window open and gmail. It can get pretty annoying in quiet places, so I no longer can work in quiet libraries. Sadly, this supposedly flagship computer is best used at home or in private/ noisy places where sound isn't an issue. And even when watching netflix, I have always opted to use headphones because no one likes to watch tv/movies with constant whistling in the background.

Another concern is the durability of the glass cover. I am very sad that my beautiful glass cover looks like a limited edition "spider web" now after just 1 week. I placed it on a stand to elevate the keyboard to a comfortable typing position. The stand tipped over backwards and the laptop pivoted off 4 inches. That was enough to shatter the entire back lid. Now I know why 99% of laptops don't use glass as the lid cover... So if you own or are considering this laptop, I would invest in the bestbuy protection plan or a screen protector because this glass lid is beautiful but not practical at all. And because the laptop is limited edition, Lenovo quoted an $800 price for the replacement part after 2 hours on hold... for that price I can buy a whole other laptop with multiple thunderbolt usb C, hdmi output, normal sized right shift key, active stylus compatibility.
If I could do it again, I might give the full HD standard aluminum version a chance. I really wanted a unique laptop, and unfortunately it didn't work out well for me. Sometimes it is better to be practical. I would go for a metal laptop with certain features that this laptop lacked: latest thunderbolt capable usb C, >6 hr of real world use, hdmi or mini display port of some sort, SD card reader, and larger right shift key.

I have found this computer to be just about perfect, especially after my updates to BIOS and all other drivers. Runs super quiet and fan kicks in quietly once every hour or so and when does, it is certainly not loud. See my review for what I did after purchase...it makes ALL the difference to the performance!
