Odd, and Hard to Follow
on May 12, 2008
Posted by: kevman79
I found 'the Fifth Element' to be an extremely odd movie that's incredibly hard to follow, let alone get interested in. This visually beautiful production has some nice special effects, but the plot of the film just isn't up to standard.

Not Bad
on May 12, 2008

One of Mike Meyer's earliest films, 'So, I Married An Axe Murderer,' is ok, but seems to miss its mark in certain scenes. My favorite character is still the Scottish Dad, also played by Meyers.

Just Didn't Make Sense to Me
on May 12, 2008

This awkward and so called 'Romantic-Drama' regarding the afterlife, is best summed up as 'bizarre.' Tragic, and not at all what I expected.

Could Have Been Much Better
on May 12, 2008

Brad Pitt fails to intrigue me, as does the rest of the cast for that matter, in this adaptation on Homer’s ancient tale of the famed battle of ‘Troy.'

Worth It For Die Hard Fans
on May 12, 2008

One of very few Hd-Dvd titles that really excels, as the format should, in comparison to its standard dvd counterpart. Beautiful image quality and several bonus features make it worth every penny to a die-hard fan. .

Poor Sequel
on May 12, 2008

'Lethal Weapon 2' is a poor sequel to a first film that was mediocre at best. Just isn't worth owning in my opinion.

Worth It If You Don't Already Have
on May 12, 2008

For all the 'Lethal Weapon' fans who already have this title on dvd, I can't necessarily recommend rebuying it here on Hd-Dvd. The image quality just isn't that much better as to make it worthwhile, but that's simply my opinion, so you will have to decide for yourself.

Typical Adam Sandler
on May 12, 2008

More of Adam Sandler playing the usual childish and idiotic characters he has come to be typecast as. Overall, a funny movie and decent hd-dvd, but considering the price, I'd probably opt for the regular dvd and save some money.

Chevy Chase's Best Performances
on May 12, 2008

'Fletch' is a great comedy and definitely Chevy Chase's best screen performance. This hd-dvd itself is not quite as stellar, and could have been much better, especially in terms of bonus materials.

Hoaky Action Flick
on May 12, 2008
Posted by: kevman79
'Face-Off' has some awesome action sequences, but the story itself is hoaky and completely unbelievable, even within the realm of fiction. However, fans will most likely be pleased with this Blue-Ray edition that has several bonus items.
