When You Try To Do Everything...

PLEASE NOTE: What follows is an independent review based solely on my experience with the product. It was supplied to me at no cost by BestBuy for evaluation purposes.
This is a tough item to review. For the right buyer in the right setting, it might be a useful product. Here are some of the positives:
It's well and attractively packaged, and that makes it easy to get started. The instructions are clear and easy to follow; assembly is almost intuitive. Instead of confusing icons and graphics, each latch and part is clearly labeled, as is the packing material. Opening the box makes a good first impression. Also, the components fit together with distinct clicks. While the materials are not of the same quality of, say, a Dyson, they have great "feel" and inspire confidence in their quality.
It's well and attractively packaged, and that makes it easy to get started. The instructions are clear and easy to follow; assembly is almost intuitive. Also, the components fit together with distinct clicks. While the materials are not of the same quality of, say, a Dyson, they have great "feel" and inspire confidence in their quality.
The cord is a sufficiently long for an average room, and the vac comes with virtually every accessory one might need including a great "under appliance" attachment that works well. There is a convenient on-vac clip for two accessories, and a sturdy bag for others. It also comes with a convenient wall mounted hook (not used or evaluated) for storage.
As noted in my title, the vac wants to be all things to all users. It has a clever two-roller system which seemed to work well on various surfaces, and the easily accessible power switch controls activation based on the surface being cleaned. There is a clever easy-to-use access door to allow cleaning of the rollers. Very nice design! The vac has a five-year limited warranty which is comforting and a testimony to the manufacturer's confidence in the materials and workmanship.
As I trust is clear in the photo, it "fits" between a full-size upright and a stick vac. I've shown it with two Dyson models as Shark often uses that brand for comparisons. Here are the concerns:

I called Shark customer service (and was treated very promptly and well, although I had made no mention that I was doing an evaluation) to see if I had somehow missed an assembly step as the photos show it standing. The agent explained it did not, but it had on the back of the upper handle two ribbed rubber "pads" so that it could lean against a wall. They are each postage-stamp size and worked on carpeting, but on hardwood, the wheels would not hold, rubber pads or not.

The weight bias is very top heavy as the power unit is obviously located there. The weight, even with the floor power head removed is quite noticeable and the touted "above floor cleaning" would get tiring quickly. The"dust cup" (collector) fills fast in floor use, although it is easy to empty.
In summary, it's a great looking unit with seemingly lots of appeal. However, it's not a very good upright replacement (and likely was not intended to be) and is a lot heavier than a battery-powered stick vac with above-floor attachments. The ideal use for this would be a small apartment (or larger room) that needed a quick cleanup. I am not sure of the price (on line at Shark it "lists" for $200), so with its good looks, nice feel, and useful attachments it could fill a need for some buyers. While they certainly cost more, for optimal cleaning I prefer dedicated vacs--an upright or canister and a stick vac--rather than this hybrid which has made a lot of compromises in terms of utility and usefulness. Sharks make plenty of those also.

Excellent, But Big

Disclosure: The reviewed router was provided to me free of charge for review purposes, but with no restrictions on what I could write nor any guidance about what I might of should say.
Further disclosure, I received this router for evaluation in late January and did not install in until late May as my then-current router was working fine and I wasn't in the mood to reconnect the myriad devices on my wi-fi network. Sadly (actually, happily) an electrical surge required I install the new router and I did so several days ago.
Setup was, as is increasingly commonplace, a snap. It took only a few minutes and everything worked as expected. It's a sharp looking router and it's three antennae give it a very serious look. However, and this is my one gripe, it is very large and takes up about 80 sq. inches. I guess that much power requires a lot of electronic "guts" and heat dispersion.
I cannot evaluate speed accurately as it is limited by my ISP, but I was impressed that even with about a dozen different devices connected to it, speed did not seem to slow at all. And range is wonderful! I have a booster at the far end of my ranch-style house and the Linksys (located at the other end) pushes far beyond that without any boost. The signal in the basement at the far end also was strong. Really very impressive!
In sum, it's not cheap, but it seems to do everything it says it will do and more. Just make sure you have enough flat space for it as it is big and cannot be wall mounted.

Very Nice Budget Tablet

Disclosure: This tablet was sent to me without cost for review but without any restrictions on what I could write in this review. I am being as objective as possible and have NO association with Acer or Best Buy other than as a customer of the latter.
This tablet was clearly built to a low price point, but that does not mean it's a bad deal. Quite the contrary. For basic tablet functions--and for someone wanting a screen larger than a "phablet"--it works very well. The shell is all plastic, but seem sturdy. Without a protective case, it fits well into my average size hand.
It comes loaded with Android Lollipop (Android 5) which is an advantage, although an update to Marshmallow would be a step up. Setup was a snap for anyone with some familiarity with Android and a Google account. As is typical with Android devices it comes with a large (but not overwhelming) amount of bloatware, some of which can be deleted, but much cannot.
Happily, considering the limited amount of internal memory, it has a slot for a micro SD card which slipped in easily (but looks like it could be a challenge to remove when the time comes). The software mounted the card easily.
Booting is slow, but not agonizing, and it has a nice easy sleep/wake function which works well.
The camera will not replace a good stand-alone and has no flash, but it works well for snapshots and has some easy (Acer-unique) editing software. I have not yet tried video.
Going back to the operating system, Acer has followed the pattern of others and modified some interfaces and commands to make the distinctive, but not necessarily better.
Summary:
1. Good tablet that will meet many users basic needs at a very fair price-point.
2. A familiar and easy-to-use operating system.
3. Some bloatware and overall undistinguished performance compared to pricier tablets.

I am glad so many other purchasers are as happy as they are, but we are not. The design has many virtues, which drew us to it. However, after about 2 weeks, we started to get an audible hum from the unit that stopped on its own or when we opened any door. As it worsened, I called LG and they were helpful and said this was a familiar issue, but they would send a technician. He arrived as scheduled, ordered an entire "fan unit" for the refrigerator and returned to install it a week later.
That didn't solve anything, so he ordered the fan unit for the freezer. A few minutes after that, the noise returned--even louder. I waited a couple of weeks, hoping that it would go away, but instead it got louder and more rhythmic. I again called LG and they again dispatched the same, nice tech. He ran some tests from the back of the unit and could not find the source of the noise which, of course, has not soundness it in its full glory while he is here.
We agreed it is not the compressor as it does not stop when a door is opened and this noise does. I concur that the problem is one or more of the many fans, but I would love for someone to cart this a way and get me one that works quietly.
I appreciate LG's efforts at customer service, but I am going tom try to get them to take this back.

Good Value, But Very Few Feature

I had to replace a Delphi radio in my car, and this was a good choice in terms of price-to-value. However, the monochromatic display on my Delphi was MUCH easier to see than the colored LCD screen. (I fashioned a fairly good-look sunshade from the plastic tray in came in!) Also, I am disappointed that unless I wanted to spend over $200 I could not find an XM radio with more presets. I used almost all 30 on my last radio, and trying to adjust to merely 10 is a chore. But for the price....

What's not so great: Only 10 Presets and Hard to See in Sunlight

Reviews on Best Buy online convinced me that an extended warranty was needed because several customers had machines stop working soon after one year. The salesman in the Best Buy store did not have the 70 pt dehumidifier on hand, so he told me to buy it online and bring in the paperwork to get the extended warranty. The website made it appear that I was buying the machine from Best Buy, but when I brought in my paperwork I was told that this was bought from a 3rd party and could not get an extended warranty! "Just like Amazon" the Geek said! I do not want the machine without the extended warranty, so I'm told to return it -- which means shipping cost and a restocking fee! Best Buy will do nothing to correct their mistake, or deliberate misinformation. I have wasted a lot of time, theirs and mine, going through phone trees. The 3rd party has been much more responsive, but Best Buy has been a complete stonewall. Neither the store manager nor 888-Best-Buy will correct their mistake. I will now seek an extended warranty from the Chinese manufacturer, since the 3rd party store does not provide it. I will correct my mistakes, and stop wasting time, by no longer buying from Best Buy.

I understand your frustration, but you mentioned the "Chinese" manufacturer. The identical unit (same model #) on Amazon.com says it is made in the USA. Does your label say otherwise? Thanks

Great picture quality even at night but there is no audio!!!
Never heard of a dash cam with no audio. They should let you know that up front. The Garmin software to view the video downloaded easily onto windows 7 and worked well. However who wants a cash cam with no audio sound? It goes back to Best Buy tomorrow, and the hunt for decent dash cam will continue.
