Nice helper

Vacuuming is no one's favorite chore and this robot vacuum was called for help. Of course battery powered device won't be able to compete with AC powered machine in terms of suction power or dust bin capacity, you can still clean the house much faster with a big machine, but vacuuming robot can help with everyday cleaning so you could only vacuum yourself once a month instead of doing it every week.
POWERbot vacuum was pretty easy to setup, it comes fully assembled and all you need to do is to find a good place for it with at least 2ft clearance to the nearby furniture. Plug in the charging dock, let it charge for about 3 hours and it's ready! It comes with the remote control and the ability to connect to your WiFi network and control the vacuum using the app on your mobile device. I've found that using the app is more convenient than looking for the remote every time.
What I found works the best - is to set the dock in a room you want to be cleaned (prepare the room in advance by removing as much items from the floor as you can), close the door (robot came with 39" of a flexible magnetic "barrier" which is supposed to prevent robot from going into certain areas, but I've found that closing the door is a way more efficient way than sticking that barrier to the floor) and let robot do it's job. Battery runtime is about 1 hour and it's enough for the robot to clean about 14x20 room in that time. It's dust container is not big enough for the larger areas either and it needs to be cleaned pretty much after every room is done with.
Noise level from the robot is not much than a good hair dryer so if you want it to clean while you are at home - it's not very annoying. Robot has a few sensors on it's body so it typically won't slam into furniture or walls, but there are exceptions. For example it was getting caught by the IKEA chair in the living room all the time - as soon as robot runs over the chair's base - it would decide that it "has been lifted" and would stop dead. Mobile phone app will signal that robot has been "lifted" and there is no way to fix that other than get to the robot and move it to the flat surface. Same exact thing happened with the table leg in my office, POWERbot wedged itself off the floor by running over the leg and said it's been "lifted".
Mobile app is a great way to control it, I'm not using the included remote at all. You'll also get a little map of robot's movements across your room in the app. I have not really had to use it's manual control mode where you can command robot to move forvward or turn left/right.
Overall it's a great little helper as longs as you understand it's capabilities and set your expectations accordingly - clean one room at a time (let it recharge and go empty robot's dust bin after each "job"), prepare the floor surface by removing power cords, slippers, and anything that could block POWERbot's roller. Do not expect it to clean the whole floor (especially if you have a rather large house), it will attempt to do that by re-charging and continuing the job, but it's dust bin will overfill and I don't believe there is any indication of that anywhere, you just have to look at it (it's transparent so it's very easy to see).

Sound is just stunning
on May 27, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
My past experience with Bluetooth headphones was telling me that Bluetooth connection can't provide a good sound, until I tried these headphones. Sound is absolutely stunning, crystal clear, even tiniest nuances of music are easy to hear. Listening to the live performances (for example Acustica by Scorpions) and I could hear the crowd like I was there. There is no difference between wireless or wired connection finally! Bass is a bit on a weak side to my taste though.
Headphones are well built, ear pads are covered with the very soft leather and easy to remove. Inside of the head band is covered with the same soft leather as the ear pads.
I do love the fact that Master Dynamic included a soft carrying pouch for the headphones and all cables, they even included a 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter so you could easily connect to any source.
A few not so good things:
First is that headphones even extended all the way - barely fit on my head and push against the ears a little bit more than I would like them to.
Second - rattle in both headphones. When I turn my head left to right and back - I could hear a small rattle on both sides, like a loose screw or something. Tried contacting customer support asking about it but did not get any feedback. So I decided to see what is going on and opened them, as you can see on the photo - small studs that connect the left and right acoustic enclosures to the headband are kept in place by C-clips, these C-clips are loose and rattle when I turn my head, that happens on both sides so it does not appear to be a defect of this exact pair. Rattle is not significant and I could not hear it while listening to the music, but still leaves a bad taste.
Third - bluetooth pairing. When you turn the headphones on - they would connect to the last 2 devices you paired them with. Bluetooth range is amazing - they picking up my computer upstairs when I go downstairs. However, let's say I'm listening downstairs using my phone - headphones will attempt to connect to my computer upstairs and sometimes that gets in the way of listening interrupting the music. There is no way except factory resetting the headphones or turning bluetooth off on the computer to stop this! Other brands have mobile app that shows all paired devices, unfortunately these headphones do not. You don't know what they just paired to - you could only hear a "blip" sound indicating they connected to something.
Fourth - battery live is really good, 14 hours of listening - not a problem! 300mAh battery is located in the right acoustic enclosure. However there is no way to tell the actual charge percentage. You can only look at the LED indicator which could be green, amber or red (full, medium or low battery respectively), but no percentage.
Overall - a very good headphones, amazingly clear sound and seamless bluetooth connection which is as good as a wire. Definitely worth a try! But a few design problems such as rattling C-clips and pairing leave a few things to improve on.

Wonderful kit for sound enthusiast
on May 24, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
BOSEbuild is great gift for any person who is into sound - kid or adult. It all starts with the beginnings of the sound reproduction - magnet and coil - you'll get these in the kit. Then you launch a mobile app, connect it to the circuit board over bluetooth and start building your very first speaker.
First exercise is to put a magnet on the table and put coil over it - then press the button on the screen and coil will launch into the air - that trick grabs kids attention immediately! Then you get a few demonstrations of frequency and end up with making a speaker out of the cardboard box which your kit came in.
Following that - you kinda put together a small speaker made out of a paper (scissors required :)).
At the end - you use a real Bose supplied acoustic driver and plastic enclosure to build yourself a little cube speaker with colored LEDs insight, and it actually does sound pretty good! I mean for something that you've just put together on the desk in 5-10 minutes and that something easily outperforms a LOT of factory bluetooth speakers!
Overall - it's not just yet another boring bluetooth speaker, it's a whole acoustic science experiment kit with video tutorials and you get yourself a great speaker at the end as a reward. No tools required, just the scissors and tape. Assembly time if you carefully follow all experiments (you won't pass into another experiment until your previous one is verified) is about 30 minutes. This is the most fun experiment kit I had for a very long time, highly recommended!

Pool party gem!
on May 17, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
This speaker survived being out in the rain, dive into the pool and being left overnight outside with sprinklers running! It's a true friend for summer fun activities!
13 hours battery life (honestly, I never listen for that long) is plenty for the whole day. Speaker is mainly bluetooth and is only waterproof when used as a bluetooth, you can connect 3.5mm jack cable to it, but it stops being waterproof once you open the access port. Another 3.5mm input is in the "dry dock" underneath the speaker, however I found it not very useful so far, I don't have any players that would fit into the "dry dock" (it's too small for an iPhone or an iPod touch, iPod Nano would fit though!).
Even though speaker could float in the pool - it won't play anything if submerged, so better put it on the little raft and let it flot around.
Sound is pretty loud for the small party (if your pool does not have a waterfall), but only directed out from the front of a speaker, there is no speakers in the back or sides, so it's kinda directional. Buttons are backlit and easy to find and operate, there is also a button lock switch to prevent accidental changes.
Overall - it's a fun party companion with the ability to charge your devices, just make sure you close the access door before dropping it in the pool.

Great for beginners, easy and plenty of features!
on April 28, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
This is a great receiver if you just getting into the home theater, plenty of features, 6 HDCP 2.2 compliant HDMI inputs, 7 on-board amplifiers make it a great choice!
Setup is extremely easy and detailed wiring instructions are available in the manual as well as on-screen guide, you could get it all setup in less than 30 minutes.
There are the biggest advantages:
1) Great streaming capabilities - receiver supports Apple AirPlay, Google Chromecast Audio (it could be also controlled with Google Assistant) and Spotify (premium Spotify subscription is required). AirPlay support includes synchronous playback in multiple rooms.
2) Receiver supports all existing High Definition Audio formats - DSD, DTS-MA, Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X
3) Very easy automatic speaker setup and configuration.
4) 2 zones are supported, this receiver can power total of 7 speakers at the same time, so if you enable zone 2 - your 7.1 or 5.1.2 speaker configuration would become 5.1
5) great networking options - Ethernet or WiFi connections supported
6) Bluetooth could work in transmitter mode! This means that you can stream music from your receiver to the bluetooth speaker or headphones!
Few negative points:
1) First and the biggest one - this receiver is not as powerful as many would like. First thing I do when I consider a new receiver - I flip it around and look at the power supply rating, this receiver states 240W. Let's assume 30W of power is needed for receiver itself and pre-amp, which leaves just 30W of power available per channel if all channels are driven. That is not enough if you have big tower speakers, however if you only using bookshelf speakers in the small room - it could work for you. User manual does not list power rating for 8Ohm speakers, only figure you see is for 6Ohm 2 channels driven at 0.09% THD and receiver would supply 100W per channel. But where are the figures for 8Ohm? This is not unique to Sony, most of the receiver manufacturers tend to over inflate power ratings. Ideally I would like to see power with 0.09% THD all channels driven into 8Ohm.
2) 4Ohm speakers won't work with this model
3) If you have a turntable - you will need to use it's own phono pre-amp or external phono pre-amp, this receiver does NOT have an internal PHONO pre-amp.
4) Manual EQ settings are almost non-existent - you get 2 sliders: Bass and Treble, no actual frequency bands. No EQ settings for the subwoofer channel at all.
5) Receiver is a little sluggish to react to it's own remote, there is a noticeable delay between button press and reaction.
6) No pre-amp outputs for the main channels, only for zone 2 and subwoofer
7) Included remote is fairly simple and central arrow keys seem to rattle.
Overall: this Receiver would work great if you use it with small bookshelf speakers and you like things to get setup automatically for you. However advanced users may want to look at the different model.

Cute tiny speaker
on April 20, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
This is the smallest cutest wireless speaker I ever had! Moisture and shock proof it's designed to be worn on the clothes and is suitable for any activity. It has a pretty rugged clip so it won't fall off by itself.
It would also double as a hands free/speakerphone device anywhere you need it (like working on the outdoor project, exercising, etc).
Sound quality is comparable to the phone's internal speaker, it does sound louder though and you'll hear lot more details if you direct it towards yourself.
Just 2 buttons are used for controls so you'll need to memorize a few key combinations like holding "+" to answer the phone and holding "-" to end the call. Internal battery lasts for about 3 hours and is fully charged again in less than 1 hour using on-board type A USB plug.
Overall - it's tiny enough to carry around easily and use in any cases you've used the phone's internal speakers before. Do not expect significant sound quality improvement though.

Ideal for a gamer
on March 27, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
This is a great pair of headphones if you have a gamer in the family! They look amazing, sound really good (could be used for music as well), microphone sound quality is great and sensitivity is good enough so you can talk normally without rising your voice. Headphones fit just fine on a 10 year old as well as on adult. 6' cord is fabric braided and very pleasant to feel, in addition to that Razer included 6' extension/splitter cable that could be used for computers with separate headphones/mic jacks. Mic is mounted on the retractable arm that is easy to adjust so it's close to your mouth for a great sound quality and gaming experience. There is a volume control and mute switch on the cable. Tested the headphones with xBox One controller and was very impressed with the sound quality.
On the downside - I wish cable would be detachable (so it would be possible to replace it). Also microphone could not be moved over to the right ear cup - it's permanently mounted on the left one, more advanced gaming headphones often provide that option.
Overall - it's a real good set for any gamer! It may lack some features of more advanced models, but for the price - these headphones are totally worth it!

Very powerful for the size
on March 21, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
Let's admit - vacuuming is not everybody's favorite chore to do, so choosing the right vacuum cleaner is very important to ease the trouble. Cordless machines and even vacuuming robots seem to be a great option, but only a line powered machine would have enough suction power for a nice thru cleaning. Power alone is not everything, compact easy to maneuver design is important as well, no one would like to haul a shop vac (which has plenty of power but awkward to move) behind.
I've tried many models and settled on Dyson 6 years ago (I own a cordless and 1st generation multi-floor Dysons), I was excited to try this new model now!
Assembly and first impressions:
It's pretty straightforward to put together - just couple main parts, only go together one way. Machine is equipped with a long 25' cord and detachable accessory hose reaching impressive 14' away from the machine's location. Assembly instructions are well illustrated and easy to follow.
Vaccuum cleaner is equipped with electric power brush, accessory hose, upholstery attachment, wand/brush and a small air powered brush.
All accessories with the exception of small power brush (that is the only negative point I've found) could be stored on the vacuum's body and easily accessed during vacuuming.
Usage:
Very nice and easy to maneuver around, new "ball" construction makes it possible to operate the machine only using one hand - just grab the handle, pull it down towards you - and start moving! The heaviest part of the machine - it's motor, is located at the very bottom, makes it extremely easy to move. Big powered brush has a fast spinning cylinder which fluffs up the carpet making it feel like it's almost new again. It also "brushes up" a lot of dirt, debris, hair, etc, making cleanup an easy process.
Just make sure to turn the power brush OFF, if you cleaning something that was just spilled, especially on the hard surface (hardwood, tile, etc) - otherwise power brush will just shoot the debris towards you with a good enough force that it won't be sucked in, but end up behind you instead.
Attachment wand is extremely easy to pull out and put back in as well making accessory use an easy task.
After cleanup:
It's a bagless vacuum, so most of the cleanup is fairly easy - take the dust storage bin off the machine, hold it above the trash can and push the button, everything just falls into the trash! However you may still need to reach into the bin with your hand to pull out some loose hair that has a tendency to wrap around the cyclone system. Also - bin itself kinda collects static charge and some dirt may still hang onto the bin walls.
Every 2 months there is an extra step - pull out both filters (1 in the dust bin - filter "A" and the 2nd one - filter "B" is in the "ball" - just twist off the purple screw on the side of the ball until it comes off) and wash them with water. I usually take them outside and wash with a hose, also give dust bin and cyclone system a good wash.
Overall:
Excellent machine with attachments for a tough cleaning jobs!

Great running companion!
on January 27, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
These headphones are made for the runners or gym use most of all, very sturdy construction, perfect fit in the ear (my first reaction was - what a huge ear tips, but when I tried them - they actually fit my ear perfectly and don't even attempt to fall out), wire could be secured to the shirt with the clip included. Another advantage is the fact that battery is inside the headphones and not in the neck band (neck bands typically bounce on your neck when running which is very uncomfortable).
There is no noise cancelling at all - you are perfectly aware of your surroundings.
Pairing with the phone was easy, but I should mention that headphones actually do pair as 2 separate devices - one is the audio device and another one is the heart rate monitor. It's important to make sure that heart rate monitor actually gets paired, otherwise heart rate sensor would not activate. No special apps is required - just pair your headphones and use them for music, if you want to know your heart rate - just slightly tap right headphone and you will hear it.
On the negative side - headphones are so packed with features that leaves very small room to the acoustic drivers - as a result sound quality is not that great, almost no low frequencies. I'm comparing these to JBL Reflect Aware and the difference is night and day, I would definitely go with Reflect Aware model over these.
Overall Pros:
+ Great design, very well thought thru, perfect fit and no tendency to fall out. 4 different earth sizes are included.
+ Sweat proof
+ Heart rate sensor built in and proved to be very accurate
+ Easy pairing with the phone or even watch, no need to take the phone for a run!
+ Included silicone carrying pouch and a very flexible USB charging cable (17")
Overall Cons:
- Short battery live - around 5 hours
- Not so great sound quality, especially on the low end of frequencies

Amazing WiFi Range, easy setup!
on January 10, 2017
Posted by: xKing
from Frisco, TX
This product provides a truly amazing WiFi coverage for the whole property! 3 individual WiFi stations called Nodes should be installed around your house, they will create a very tight WiFi coverage.
Once I've installed the Velop system - I walked around my home with my laptop in hands and did about a dosen speed tests - every single one showed the full 350Mbit/s download speed I'm getting from my service provider, I was not able to find a single spot where the speed would drop, that is truly amazing!
However Velop is designed with the WiFi in mind and optimized for the households which rely on WiFi as a primary network. For example - main node (any of the 3 could be designated as "Main", it just depends on which one will be connected to your modem) - would only have a single Ethernet port available for the wired connection. You will need an Ethernet switch to connect more than a single device to it. Satellite nodes would each have 2 Ethernet ports so you could connect some devices over the Ethernet remotely, but will need Ethernet switches to connect more than 2.
Velop system is not designed to be setup or controlled with the computer - it requires an iOS or Android device to set it up and configure in the future. First node (out of 3) should be connected to your modem and then it takes just a few simple steps to set it up using your phone or a tablet, I believe it uses Bluetooth to communicate initially before WiFi network is crated. Then it's even easier to add satellite nodes - just position them far enough from the main node (and each other) but still within your WiFi coverage - and with the few clicks using the Linksys app - new node is ready to extend your WiFi signal!
Other features of the Velop WiFi system include:
- Device prioritization - that gives selected devices a priority in traffic consumption
- Parental controls - you cold limit a single device from visiting certain web sites (however you have to spell out the complete web site name, wildcarding like abc*.com is not supported)
- IP Address reservation - devices could be assigned a static IP address, but there is no place in the app to list all reservations, there is also no way to create a reservation manually before you connect a device to the network first.
- Guest network support - dedicated network just for guests
- Port forwarding (individual ports and ranges) as well as port triggering.
Velop supports the following configurations of the incoming Internet connection: DHCP, Static IP address, PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP. Outside facing MAC address could be configured, MTU value could be changed. That's about it.
Overall: if you have a real large property and just want an easy WiFi everywhere, you don't relay on Ethernet connections - Velop would do an amazing job! However if you like to connect most of the devices with Ethernet, like to tinker with the network settings, assign specific IP addresses to devices - you probably need to look elsewhere. Requirement of the iOS/Android app for setup/configuration and inability to use the computer for that purpose is the huge drawback for me. Lack of advanced features (USB ports for storage or 3G backup, VPN server, access to log files - to name a few) makes Velop unattractive for the PRO/advanced users.

Great travel companion
By xKing from Frisco, TX
This laptop would be a great travel companion. Screen can be folded all the way to the back making this laptop a big tablet, Windows recognizes it as a "tablet mode" and adjusts the interface so that's easy to use that way. Tablet mode is a great idea if your space is limited such as a car or an airplane. That is if you don't mind wiping your fingerprints off the screen later.
Overall construction is very nice and solid, aluminum top cover and plastic bottom make it easy to hold and it does not get real hot to the touch while working. Bottom is fairly easy to take off (philips screwdriver and plastic prying tools needed) allowing access to the single memory slot and a hard drive (watch for hard drive - it will fall off when bottom cover is off). Laptop has a good selection of ports (including HDMI, 2x USB 3 and a USB-C!) making it easy to connect to the accessories you need. Hardware volume control paddle is located on the right side of the laptop almost next to the power switch - I actually send laptop to sleep couple of times while trying to adjust the speaker volume, so be careful.
Screen resolution is a full 1920x1080 HD but the space under the screen (where the Acer logo is) feels unused - I wish Acer did extend the screen to the bottom a bit more. From the beginning - my laptop had a very noticeable green tint to the screen which I had to correct using the Windows color calibration tool - no issues after that.
Keyboard and the touchpad are functional and easy to use, keyboard is backlit (either on or off, no brightness adjustment).
Battery - I was able to use laptop for 4 full hours watching videos, surfing web and working on the documents before battery fully drained, it took it 3 hours to charge back to 100%. Included 45W power adapter is surprisingly small and easy to pack, supports any voltage from 100 to 240 so overseas travel is not a problem!
Performance - I did not notice any delays while working with the big office documents, 8 Gb RAM (upgradeable to 12Gb) and i5 CPU have more than enough for any office tasks, however I would recommend upgrading to SSD if you require a lot of disk activity.
Overall - great laptop for those who work on the go and need a good selection of ports at the workplace, strong performer!

It's really comes down to your personal preference. HP you've mentioned has a smaller 13.3" screen, but a solid state drive will perform better. Acer has a bigger screen but a slower mechanical hard drive.

Connect favorite peripherals to this Acer Aspire laptop. Four USB ports let you connect accessories, transfer files or charge a cellphone while you work, and HDMI outputs make dual-screen functionality possible. Access nearby wireless networks with this Acer Aspire laptop and stream videos or upload your own images captured with the built-in HD webcam.

Physically - any 2.5" SSD drive will fit. It really depends on your budget and how much storage would you like to have. I personally use Crucial drives.

Finally an Android tabled designed for your car!
By xKing from Frisco, TX
This tablet would be a real good option for those who want just an Android tablet in the car, it mounts hassle free with the included mount. I used the "bean bag" as a base and suction cup attached to the bean bag.
Tablet has a magnetic attachment at the back that takes care of the electrical connections as well so all you need to do is to place the tablet on the mount and that's it! No wires to plug in!
Physically it's a very well made device with rubberized back which makes it secure in hand, screen is bright and I had no problem looking at it with my polarized sunglasses on.
It has micro USB port for charging / data transfer, micro SD card slot, mini HDMI port and a 3.5mm sound output jack.
Mount has a full size USB port, 3.5mm sound output jack that you can connect to your car's AUX input and a power port, that connects to the standard 12V DC or 24V DC cigarrete lighter outlet. Optionally - you can screw in an included FM transmitter antenna to the mount, so it will output sound to your car's FM receiver.
Hardware volume control, power switch and a home button are on top of the tablet, buttons are easy to operate while the car is moving.
Unfortunately this tablet does not have a built in modem so if you would like to connect it to the Internet while on the road - you will need to have some kind of WiFi in your car. This kinda defeats the main product slogan of making any car a connected one, you will still need to provide your own connection. I've used a mobile WiFi hotspot for my test.
Included apps:
Navigation - I liked that one, it comes with the lifetime Map update, directions are clear and easy to follow, speed limit is displayed for major roads and you could optionally setup a notification for when you are over the speed limit for X number of MPH. No school zone alerts though.
Online functions include gas prices (by GasBuddy), traffic and weather - all of these require tablet to have an active internet connection. Weather could be useful when planning your route while pulling a trailer for example, so you could avoid windy roads. Mount does have a very good GPS receiver built in so when tablet is on the dash - you will be getting a strong GPS coverage, however if you take the tablet off the dash - it will turn into "Waiting for GPS signal" mode without a clear sky view.
Dash Camera - well, it requires you to mount your tablet so it's back camera is acting like a dash cam but that means you have to position tablet vertically, aim camera on the road and make sure nothing is in front of it. I've tried using it and while picture quality is good - frame rate is not, it's more like 15 FPS which makes passing cars look blurry. You would also need to start the Dash Cam recording every time you start your car since it would automatically stop recording every time you turn your car off (and tablet looses the external power). During my tests I've found that included mount is pretty shaky and it makes a camera recording pretty shaky too. There is an option to record sound, but no way to put current date/time, speed, GPS coordinates on the record.
Collision waring - unfortunately it was showing "calibration" and was never able to do anything, I suspect it may be due to the position of the front facing camera in my car. In addition to that - you can't launch the collision warning app AND a dash cam app at the same time - they would complain that camera device is used by the other application.
Backup Camera - it requires you to purchase an optional backup camera kit from Rand McNally, I did not have the kit for this test.
Tire Pressure and Temperature monitoring - again - that's an optional accessory (4 sensors and a receiver module) that is sold separately.
I see this one being very useful for the trailers, so you always know your trailer tires are ok.
Car Diagnostics - that is really a DashCommand app that is available for the purchase and requires an optional OBD II reader accessory which is sold separately.
Other pre installed apps include Rand McNally app store, Road Atlas and trip planner.
Besides pre-installed apps - tablet comes with the choice of 3 external app stores you can install: Amazon App Store, APKPure and Aptiode. Google Play Store is not available by default but you can put it on manually. After that - you are free to download anything you like, about 18Gb of onboard memory is available.
Overall - it's a great hardware with a lot of options, hassle free mount and connection to the car, but included software needs some work.

Well, it did install, but you are correct - Google Services App is crashing. I suspect it needs a little bit more that that, probably a GAPPS package, just need to find a way to load it. I will post here if I will be successful.

Great for beginners, easy and plenty of features!
By xKing from Frisco, TX

Sorry about the confusion, what I meant to say - the receiver is great if you just getting into Home Theater, but it lacks advanced features. Talking about my friends - I would recommend them a different model because I would be able to help them further with the system configuration, therefore advanced model would work better.

Area mode and multi-floor mapping give you complete control over cleaning areas, and built-in sensors detect flooring types to ensure efficient performance on hard floors and carpets. This ECOVACS DEEBOT OZMO robot vacuum automatically returns to its charging dock for effortless operation.

I have two floors, Can I buy a second charging station for bringing it upstairs so I don't have to also bring the charging station up and down? will it work with two different charging stations?

it has an ability to select different maps (for different levels) so I would say yes!

The only purifying fan to clean a whole room properly*. We design our purifying fans to go beyond test chamber conditions and focus on real home conditions – this is more than just having an efficient filter.*Dyson engineers and research concluded that to clean an entire room properly, you need to sense pollution events automatically; capture ultrafine pollutants; and project cleaner air around the room using Air Multiplier technology. Only the Dyson purifying fan is designed and tested to do all of this.**Dyson technology helps create a cleaner, healthier home - Our vacuums and purifiers are scientifically proven to capture particles as small as allergens and bacteria.

How often do you need to replace filters

Machine has indicators of filter life, mine still show 100% (separate indicator for fiberglass and carbon filters). I guess it really depends how often it runs and how much contaminants it removed.

Ask Alexa to turn on the lights and music with this ecobee Switch+ smart switch. Its built-in speaker lets you access Amazon Alexa with voice commands, and it automatically turns off a light bulb at sunrise or when no one’s in the room. Control this ecobee Switch+ smart switch remotely from your iOS or Android device.

Do you need to have certain ights in your home for this switch to be compatible? For example, Phillips Hue LED lights or will it work with a regular floodlight or GE incandescent bulb? Lastly- How many lights can one switch control?

This switch can control up to 600W incandescent or 150W LED/CFG of regular lights wired to the switch directly. You can also use Alexa integrated in this switch to control any number of other smart lights that are Alexa compatible (Hue, LiFX, etc)

Nest Protect reliably detects and alerts you to the presence of smoke or carbon monoxide in your home. The alarm speaks to you in a calm, clear, human voice, telling you the location of the danger. It also provides smartphone alerts and battery status updates to help protect your home. This hardwired version is suitable for homes with existing hardwired smoke or CO detectors.

Will it connect to a Samsung Smart Hub, plus possibly the Samsung ADT Security system? I had the orginal Lowes IRIS Security System, but now considering getting a Samsung Smart Hub since it does work with my RING Video Doorbell.

If samsung hub works with nest cameras - yes, Nest Hello would show up as a regular Nest Camera.

Nest Doorbell (Wired) lets you know who’s there, so you never miss a thing. It replaces your existing wired doorbell and delivers HD video and bright, crisp images, even at night. It’s designed to show you everything at your doorstep — people head to toe or packages on the ground. And with 24/7 streaming, you can check in anytime. Or go back and look at a 3-hour snapshot history to see what happened.*

Does this have simultaneous 2-way audio, or do you have to press a button to talk? I have the August doorbell and you have to push to talk and it works terribly.

Yes, simultaneous 2 way audio, no buttons to hold
