We didn't call this ebike the Sinch for no reason. Foldable, portable, storable, powerful, comfortable, and ready for anything, the Sinch folding electric bike lives up to the definition of "doing it with ease". Your Sinch compact electric bike will fit in your closet and under your desk, meaning it's almost infinitely portable! Making this electric bike foldable means that it'll even fit in the trunk of your car or easily into your RV so you can take it anywhere with you. With 4" fat tires and a front suspension fork this ebike is ready to both cruise the pavements and conquer the trails! The powerful motor and stealthily integrated battery mean that you'll never be short of power, and 5 levels of pedal assist and a no-nonsense, no-need-to-pedal throttle mean that you can go as hard or as light as you want. Cruise around town or through the park on this and you're sure be turning heads!

The Sinch Difference

It’s worth noting first that unlike Aventon's other bikes, this one is "One Size" suited for most people from 5' to 6'3". I'm about 5'10" if you want to use my picture for reference. So unfortunately for those outside those recommended sizes, you won't be able to enjoy the perks this particular model offers.
PROS:
- It's an ebike that's foldable and portable!
- Throttle from full stop
- Powerful
- Fat tires to handle terrain better
- Battery sits inside the frame
CONS:
- One size
- Heavy/Unwieldy
- Precarious when folded
DESIGN
After lifting the folded Sinch out of the box, I marveled at its beauty as I unraveled it piece by piece. It’s just a stunning, sleek looking bike. My biggest selling point on this model was its folding, storage and transportation capabilities. Despite being heavy, I personally didn’t have too much trouble moving or folding the bike. It’s quick to fold/unfold but it certainly can be a challenge. The frame has some good holding points but there is nothing that keeps it folded together so I suggest using a bungee cord when lifting and moving. For some this all may be tough without some help. A great idea someone shared was to buy a tote to put the bike in that eliminates these concerns and makes moving it way easier. These things may seem daunting but the convenience completely outweighs the work to get it ready. I have nowhere to store a bike, nor do I have a place to store a bike rack for my car. The Sinch easily fits into my SUV and garage when folded so it’s completely worth it. It’s heavy yes, but the construction is extremely solid. With the 20x4in fat tires it just looks and feels like a beast. You have a fully functioning, portable ebike that can handle more than the average terrain and the only compromise is weight.
There are a few other features I really like. An additional perk of it being able to be folded is the fact that the battery is on the inside of the frame offering better protection for it compared to the other models where the battery is on the outside. There are numbers on the seat-post, seat and handlebars which is convenient in case you have multiple users or need to adjust for folding.
COMFORT
I felt very comfortable on the bike. The grips have a lot of texture and feel good in the hands, I don’t feel like the pedals slip at all and the seat feels good. It isn’t until the hour mark when I start feeling any discomfort in my rear-end which is pretty respectable. Each person will have different feelings or preferences on these things but they suit me well. All of this can always be upgraded later. I was able to adjust the placement of everything on the bike including the controls to really make the bike my own. I really do feel like the front suspension makes a difference, too. I have rolled over everything thus far (including dirt and gravel) without a second thought or any noticeable impact in my arms.
PERFORMANCE
After riding it once to get the seat and handlebar placement down I had several concerns so I took it to a bike shop for a look over. I’m glad I did and I recommend anyone to do so when buying direct.
Don’t let the small tires fool you, this thing has power. Since the bike is as heavy as it is, it can be slightly difficult to get moving from a stand still on terrain or a slight incline. Aventon now allows this model to use throttle from a standstill, which is just the perfect boost you need to get started. Once you're moving everything is smooth going. There are a lot of turns around my neighborhood so I often found myself constantly having to slow down because I just always felt like I was going so fast. The acceleration takes a second to kick in but once it does you’re up to speed in no time. The throttle is quite soft and took some getting used to but I felt like I had a lot of control using it. The breaks are very responsive and stopping is just as quick so I never felt like stopping from higher speeds was an issue, either. I was very impressed with how it handled hills, too. The steepest hill I encountered so far was about a 20-25% grade and I went up it in PAS 1 like it was nothing.
Handling also felt great. While the handlebars aren’t as wide for what I assume is to retain the small profile, I didn’t find it much of an issue turning. Sometimes I felt like I couldn’t take too tight of turns because of it but I just managed my speed so it wasn’t a big deal. Some may want to replace them with something wider depending on your stature. One thing that surprised me is how much I had to change the gears along with the PAS to maintain proper cadence, even with PAS 1. It seems areas with more turns and frequent stop and go you’ll need to constantly adjust. It will just take some getting used to I’m sure. But even with all the pulling of levers and button pushing I was able to still handle the bike well while keeping my eyes on the road.
FLAWS
As great as it all is, it does have a couple of notable design flaws. First, mounting the M5 display in the center above the post as shown and intended isn't ideal. With the way they manufacture the mount, not only does it prevent you from pivoting it more towards you because of the handlebar lock and wires coming out the back of the screen, it blocks the handlebar lock itself from opening fully. I had no choice but to leave it because I have other accessories added (or plan to) that occupies either side of the handlebars. Your solutions are to move the display to the side taking up valuable space, add a handlebar extension in front or replace with wider handlebars. It seems quite an oversight. Second, when folded and sitting on it's built-in stand it's not entirely secure. It can pretty easily be knocked over towards one side if that side isn't up against a wall. I have more on this issue below. Overall these are not deal-breakers and can be easily solved with alternatives.
Another small detail is it would have been really nice if the M5 display had a memory feature for the odometer. Trip A & B resets every time the display turns off. Because of this, you can't keep track of how much you rode in a given ride, let alone a day unless you continuously ride long enough before it turns off automatically. I wish you could manually reset it on your time but maybe a firmware update later will allow you to utilize the Trips.
CONCLUSION
The Aventon Sinch really does give you everything an ebike can while also being portable with reasonably little sacrifice. Not only that, but it looks amazing and doesn’t compromise style despite being a foldable bike. You wouldn’t even know it can fold just by looking at it. If the minor flaws I mentioned are an issue to you than you could rate this bike slightly lower. But because they become marginal with the solutions available, it deserves full marks. Aside from everything Aventon stands behind it’s products and I can attest to that. They absolutely respect their warranty in case of any problems. As a bonus the bike came with an extra derailleur hanger and a hex multi-tool which is both helpful and nice of them. The tool is not amazing but it gets the job done and great to keep with you for emergencies.
After you buy I suggest joining a few Aventon groups on social media. The community is great and very helpful. If you have a question or looking for accessory recommendations, do a search and you will most likely find the answer you are looking for. I learned so much before my Sinch even arrived.
WARNINGS/DISCLAIMERS/TIPS
I've read to be cautious of the stand when folded. People have mentioned their Sinch accidentally tipped over on the stand crushing the M5 display. Some move the location of the screen to off center on the handlebars so it folds if it falls as opposed to crushing. Unfortunately, the display is non-removable from its mount which would have been an easy fix. You can find 3D printed cases for the M5 online. After recommendations I purchased a case as well as a tote for transportation and I would also suggest you do as well.
Something else to consider before purchasing is making sure it is permitted where you want to ride. I was surprised to find I couldn't ride the Sinch in many places around me I thought I could. Some parks with trails simply don't allow ebikes, others only allow class 1 whereas the Sinch is a class 2. People have made suggestions around this but do such at your own risk. Make sure to check all your local park and trail regulations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So your first thought is probably "how does this thermometer help with fertility?" The answer is, a woman's temperature changes on fertile days. It can be as little as half of a degree. Thanks to Beurer's two decimal place readings, you can track these changes. This is something you won't be able to accurately measure on other standard products that usually only give a single decimal reading. Other than that, it's a standard thermometer good for every day use for both oral or otherwise. The durable and flexible tip offers as much of a comfortable experience (considering) as possible no matter how you use it. No matter which model you have, Beurer's optional "Ovy" app offers convenience in tracking all your cycle measurements.
My only issue is on the product page it says "Syncs with the “Ovy” app for cycle tracking" in the description which is incorrect. The OT30 model with bluetooth can do this, but this model (OT20) does not have bluetooth. You have to manually enter all information into the app.
PROS
- Flexible tip
- Two decimal place readings
- Optional Ovy app for tracking fertile cycles
- Suitable for multiple orifices

PROS
- Hanging hardware included
- Flexible
- Long cords
- Great app full of customization options
- Can pair with music and make your lights dance with Twinkly Music device (not included)
CONS
- Not moldable (hardware required)
- Difficult to work with
OUT OF THE BOX
Everything was packaged quite elegantly and you immediately get the sophisticated vibe Twinkly is going for. Minus one hiccup the setup was simple. You need to turn on "location" on your phone for some reason for it to find the device so just a heads up. I really like how it offers the option to use your own wifi or use it's own direct wifi in case you don't want to add yet another device to your router. Twinkly was nice enough to give 4 full size design templates to use to help you hang. At the least, it gives some inspiration for your own ideas if you don't choose one of them. Good luck if you do though, but more on that below. The Flex has an elegant look to it. It's smooth like an old neon light and no bulbs are visible when off. The LED's are very bright and vibrant and look beautiful when lit up no matter if it's day or night. They were very generous with the cord length too which is a big plus.
APP
The app is where the product really shines (ha). There are a bunch of effects preinstalled or you can download more from the Twinkly store. Since there are some seasonal effects I assume the store will be updated from time to time. Almost every effect can be further customized, too. While that already gives you an array of options, you can also completely create your own effects (based on a few templates) or even by painting all 200 lights. Combine these features with the design mapping tool that scans your design in real time, the possibilities seem endless. There is a lot of fun to be had here. What's also nice is the Twinkly has it's own memory storage so it doesn't take up space on your mobile device.
FLAWS
As cool as it all is and sounds on paper, it could have been executed a little better. I thought it would be flexible as in it being moldable but its only flexible in terms of holding it in place with the mounting hardware. If it was just a little more pliable it would be significantly more helpful. You essentially have to screw the mounts into the wall which is a shame unless you don't plan to change your design later. I'm not keen on putting that many holes in my wall in case I'd ever want to. I have absolutely no confidence the mounts would work with just 3M strips so that idea is out, too. The light is too tough and continuously tries to unravel so they won't be strong enough to hold. This makes the product which is potentially limitless, also kind of limited. I don't have much faith in the screws they give you to stay in the wall either, unless you get enough of them into studs because of how much resistance the Flex has.
Since I didn't want to directly mount the light on my wall I had to get creative. I used the hardware to create a design on a thick piece of cardboard I had. After a lot of finagling I did manage to create a theropod (dinosaur) footprint, or rather, the best I could to make one. The Flex is tough to work with and it took a while just to do what I did (see picture) but I got it done and I'm pretty happy with the result. My thought was I can now hang the whole thing on the wall with some 3M strips. I'll be switching out the cardboard for a similar material or a light piece of wood later for a more elegant look. At the very least I can use the cardboard with the screw holes as a template. I recommend doing this for your own design, especially if you are looking to make it permanent.
The product itself is very well made and has amazing features. If you plan on having just one permanent design on your wall than the potential flaws won't be an issue for you. You still need the patience to draw out your own template and get it up on your wall, though. Otherwise, you'll have to get creative like I did. The value for the price starts to dip once you go that route since you have to spend money on some kind of mount (IE board, frame etc...) and possibly hanging hardware. But aside from these issues, there is a LOT of potential with the Twinkly Flex.

PROS
- Does it all (including dehydrate)
- Easy to clean, dishwasher safe baskets/crisping trays
- Dual baskets with synchronized cooking
- Powerful at 1800w
- Helpful booklet full of tips and setting guidelines
CONS
- On the larger side
- Trade less surface area for more vertical volume
Air fry, roast, broil, bake, reheat AND dehydrate? Air fryers sure have come a long way and at this rate, it may just make toaster ovens obsolete and officially make toasters a thing of the past. Usually when something tries to do too much the majority of it overall suffers but with my experience so far with the Bella Pro Series, it's been up to the task.
I've had one air fryer prior to this and we always thought it was great. While it only had a single function, everything came out better than it had before compared to microwaves or ovens. While the size was good for the two of us, we yearned for something bigger for our growing family or when we have company over. With the Bella, we cooked various foods and couldn't believe that everything came out even better. We were particularly impressed with how the fries and vegetables turned out compared to our previous fryer - both of which otherwise cooked ok besides not being able to fit much and the amount of time it took. But the Bella has cooked everything we've tried much faster and more thoroughly. I even tried out frozen waffles on the bake setting and it came out better than it ever did in the toaster oven. At 1800w, the Bella sure has power. I thought maybe when you use both sides it would significantly decrease it's efficiency but it doesn't seem to slow it down much, if at all for smaller items. The booklet is full of times/settings based on single or dual use which is extremely helpful but I didn't have to increase the time for anything yet when using both baskets at the same time.
DESIGN/FEATURES
Using the controls was a little tricky at first but I quickly got the hang of it. It gives you a huge display making everything simple to read. Some of the touch buttons were more finicky than others but it's not a big deal. I also thought the pause button was broken at first because the unit doesn't immediately stop cooking, it "cools off" before finally pausing so that threw me off before I figured it out. Temperatures can be set by 5 degree intervals anywhere from 170-450 degrees (dehydrate is 90-170 degrees) depending on the setting, really giving you complete control. A couple of additional things worth noting is the option to add a shake reminder where it notifies you with beeps half way through cooking and the synchronized cooking feature which is an absolute treat.
While it certainly has a little heft to it, It's actually a bit lighter than it looks. Bella was conscious enough to mold out grooves on the bottom of the sides to help with grabbing and moving which I really did appreciate. The baskets are completely flat (no vents) making it much easier to clean which I definitely love. My previous fryer's basket was nearly completely covered in vents which trapped food when washing it and it was annoying.
I was particularly excited for the dehydrate setting. We used a mango for our first try using it. When placing the slices in the baskets we soon realized you can only put so much since you can't crowd when dehydrating. We weren't able to fit the whole mango which was disappointing but more on that below. It's an all day process (mango took 8 hours, possibly more according to the booklet) so it's going to take some getting used to. However, I must say it came out really good. I look forward to trying out some kind of meat next.
FLAWS
There's only a few things I would consider negatives with the machine and most of them are really just compromises. Since it is a dual basket air fryer with separate elements, naturally the size of the unit is on the bigger size. It will only fit into larger cabinets if you intend to store between uses. In my case only my bottom cabinets have a wide enough opening to put it into so anyone with only average sized or smaller cabinets be warned. It looks plenty nice enough to leave out all the time, though. Considering it does so many different things it really gives you a reason to anyway.
Another potential issue compared to other single basket air fryers is each basket has a little less surface area than I would personally like. While you can always use both when cooking the same foods, it can be an issue if making two different foods and/or whatever you are making needs more width as opposed to height. Thus causing you to stack food (fries, for example) which would require longer and more involved cooking. This also comes into play if you care to use the dehydrate setting. After trying to dehydrate the mango for the first time, I felt like I was not getting much out of something that takes 8-10 hours and wonder if doing certain fruits is even really worth it. Smaller fruits would offer a better yield for your time I'm sure as would meat although I can't yet speak directly to any proteins just yet.
Finally, my only true problem with the machine is I really wish you had an option for the shake reminder to pause the cooking instead of just flashing the display while giving a short beeping sequence. The beeping is not loud by any means either, so it's easy to miss. You'll still want to set your own timer if it's imperative to turn over/shake whatever it is you're cooking if you aren't close enough to hear it.
While almost perfect, like anything else it has it's little quips but for most people they would be none-issues or at best, minor compromises. This makes the Bella Pro Series air fryer as perfect as it could be.

One Size (May) Fit Most?
on September 22, 2021
Posted by: SillyTurtle
from Charlotte, NC
Let's start with the design. My first impression of the Airpop Light SE masks was they look a lot nicer in the pictures online. In hand they kind of have like a frail cloth look to them. Honestly, it looks like the black material you find covering the bottom of furniture. They do look well constructed and I wouldn't worry about them falling apart, though. It's still a big step above regular surgical masks. They come with a couple of design features, at least. They can be adjusted slightly by sliding rubber chokes on the ear loops. There is also a rubber nose piece on the inside that can be used as is or flipped up depending on what fits you better. Flipped up potentially creates a better seal and prevents air from escaping towards your eyes which is also supposed to help those with glasses to prevent fogging. But the most important question is, do they work? Depends on the person so maybe for you, yes - but personally, they're not ideal for me.
I consider myself to have just an average shaped face, however, while they do conform and rest on the face well I find the mask a bit too small. When the nose flaps are down, the moment I say a word or move my mouth the entire mask rides up my face. I can not wear and speak with it on unless I raise the nose flaps. Otherwise, if it's not necessary to speak (or not chew gum, suck on a candy etc...) it's manageable. I then tried the mask with them raised but not without some hinderances. I retained twice the amount of moisture causing so much buildup on my face compared to when they were down and allowed a bit of air to escape. My wife has a smaller head so it fit her with less issues. She wears glasses and if you flip the nose flaps up, it does indeed prevent fogging so that's a plus. But while we found the rubber material of the nose flaps comfortable enough, because of the trimmed edges, we found them to be a bit bothersome after wearing for a short length of time. We wish the cut edges of the rubber were rounded or something. Because of these issues I would prefer to wear the mask with the flaps down but with this impasse, it leaves me with no choice and I have to give up comfort for function. For her, she would use the mask with the nose piece flipped up anyway but was still left with the issue of discomfort. We both also found the ear loop material to be a smidge irritating sometimes. We both have them as loose as they can go but it seems the more the material stretches, the less smoother it is, thus increasing the roughness. I must note though that these issues were way more present in higher temperatures. The few days it was cooler I found these things weren't nearly as much of an issue. Perhaps these are best worn in cooler temperatures when humidity is lower.
They say they can be cleaned and reused but I was weary of the idea. Since you get four in a pack and I could potentially afford to ruin one, I figured I would try cleaning it in the manner posted on their website, which is hand wash with soap and warm water and air dry or use 70% alcohol for a minimum 20 seconds and air dry, for the purpose of the review. Turned out it washed perfectly well.
It's troubling to knock so much on a mask that's so inexpensive but it is what it is. Potentially, they can be a nice step up over paper masks. These might work great for some people but I definitely can't believe they are for everyone. If the mask was a little bigger while keeping the conforming shape I probably wouldn't be having any problems. In general, I think these will be well suited for children or young kids but it seems it can be hit or miss for adults. If you have a slightly below average sized head/face, you'll most likely be happy. Slightly above average sized head/face, I wouldn't bother trying them. I just couldn't safely recommend these, otherwise.
PROS
- 99%+ filtration efficacy
- Compact & light makes it easy to carry in a pocket or purse
- Adjustable nose piece and ear loops
- Can be cleaned, reusable
CONS
- Not for the slightly above average sized head/face
- Rubber nose piece can be finicky
- Potential discomfort
- Run small

A True Can-do-it-all Headset
on June 6, 2021
Posted by: SillyTurtle
from Charlotte, NC
DESIGN
The Beoplay Portal looks simple yet elegant. It's very lightweight yet it doesn't feel like it sacrifices durability. The cushions are really comfortable and it rests on your head nicely. I never feel like it's going to just slip off. Although, after a couple of hours of wearing over glasses it did become a tad bothersome. Maybe it depends on the frame of the glasses or perhaps there is a breaking in period but it's worth noting.
APP
The initial setup was easy. Once you have the app on your phone, connecting to any other device was fast and simple after that. There were plenty of options to customize your experience including presets each with their own dial to further tweak to your preference and an equalizer for more advanced users. A nice feature is it can connect directly to your Xbox console. You simply tap to change it from bluetooth to Xbox and back. You'll find a lot of your gaming settings you'd expect here as well.
SOUND
When it comes to phone chat, listening to podcasts or audiobooks, the sound quality is crystal clear. People on the other end have said I come in great on their end as well.
Before saying anything more, I want to mention I don't currently have Dolby Atmos and can't speak to that. Everything I touch upon is based on regular use. With that said, unfortunately I found it inconsistent when using it for Xbox. People on the other end kept saying that the way I sounded kept changing. Sometimes it's crisp and clear yet other times they say I sound slightly muffled. One night there was an issue where I swear the headset kept messing with the controller and unpairing it from the console. However, I believe these issues only happened when the battery was at around 30% and less. After I fully charged it, I used it for the third time for Xbox and everything worked great with no problems. I suppose I'll see if these issues persist with continued use. As for music, it works really well for the average person but I wouldn't recommend it for those who take their music seriously. Especially if it's your primary use. Perhaps Dolby Atmos would improve in all these areas? But then why should you have to pay even more to get it to work better.
While the other issues are software related and will hopefully be fixed with updates, I did have one hardware issue and it's that the overall volume levels are just low. I constantly found myself having to turn up the volume. The max volume is certainly limited for whatever reason.
A plus and a nice surprise is that it came with an aux cable, though. Which I love because I can use it hardwired if I need to.
SUMMARY
The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal does a lot well, but I can't say it excels in any one area more than other products at a much cheaper price-point. If you are an average gamer, average music listener but do a lot of talking on the phone or listening to language based media like audiobooks and podcasts, these would be a great one stop option to fit all your needs. If this isn't you, you're probably going to get much more bang for your buck buying separate products dedicated to their designed uses. This may work well for xbox but I don't think it beats other options available. Granted, it has great chat abilities but the market is saturated in this area and there are definitely better options for music. It's a really good headset but does it offer enough to pick it over something else? I'm just not feeling it for the expense. I'd only recommend it if the convenience far outweighs the cost.
PROS
- Virtual boom-arm
- Built for comfort
- Comes with aux cable
- All in one device
CONS
- Potentially not the most glasses friendly
- Oddly low default volume output

Function AND Portability

My biggest gripe with laptops over the last decade or so is the trend of changing the portability aspect into minimalist designs with reduced functionality. Touchpads and keyboards became uncomfortably and non-ergonomically small, tiny screens with overly thin widths made them increasingly fragile, features became less and overall the entire package shrank while price tags didn't always do so. With so many designs I just felt like you were paying a lot more yet actually getting less. The Galaxy Book Pro 360 is fortunately far from any of these things.
Right out of the box my first impression of the Galaxy Book Pro is it looks simple yet elegant. It has a large screen, a large touchpad and a full keyboard that's comfortable to type on because the flat surfaces on the sides of the touchpad offer a place to rest your wrists. However, despite the larger size, it's still super lightweight and has a really thin/low profile. It feels durable unlike other laptops where you're afraid to even hold it too tightly without it shattering (yes, an exaggeration, but I'm sure you get my point.) Folding it into tablet mode is smooth and it has nice little rubber feet on the bottom that protects the top when folded as well as gives it a nice grip when in laptop mode. One issue I noticed though is with the hinges. When you're in tablet mode and have it folded around the 45 degree mark, the hinges are slightly loose and it will have a tendency to want to fully close on you when applying pressure with the S Pen or your finger which requires you to hold it with your other hand. It's also slightly wobbly to the touch when half folded.
The display itself is sharp, vibrant and has minimal glare allowing for a nearly perfectly clear picture. I watched a nature documentary on Netflix to test out the streaming and picture quality and it looked beautiful. I also played a couple of games through the Xbox Cloud Gaming beta on a web browser. It looked and played impressively well for the most part. I had a few lag spikes at times but that's because of potential connection issues and because it is in beta. But the Galaxy Book offers a "Game Mode" feature which stabilizes frame rates and prevents updates from running in the background which is a big plus.
As for the specs you can see that all in the product description but the one thing worth noting is this thing is FAST. Searching is as instant as it gets whether it's a web browser or system search, streaming, using apps and especially startup. I was on my desktop in like 8 seconds with the fingerprint reader!
The S Pen was a joy to use. It's very precise, pressure sensitive and feels very smooth. It just glides across the screen and even with me having terrible handwriting, it actually made it look good! There's also a little button on the S Pen for alternate uses like holding for quick erase. You're supposed to be able to edit what the button does but the Pen Shortcuts wasn't appearing in settings for me. The help section shows the ability to do so, so hopefully it gets fixed in an update because i'd love to customize it. There is NOT a dedicated slot for it inside the machine BUT it attaches to the cover via magnet near the top which is nice. There are several pre-installed apps to use from basic to more involved with plenty more that are downloadable. I had so much fun messing around with it in several of the apps. Even though I have a background in 3D computer art and computer graphics in general, I've never tried digital painting before but always wanted to. Originally I only planned on using the S-Pen to write notes like for my current job but I honestly feel really inspired to explore my 2D creativity further. I think this would be amazing for anyone who does professional work, whether at home or on the go. Especially if you pair it up with your compatible Samsung phone.
***One thing I recommend is make sure you run "Samsung Update" (different than Windows Update) while you set it up to update all the firmware and drivers. I had one issue with the display initially where decreasing the brightness desaturated the entire picture and decreased the contrast instead of just the brightness/backlight. Anything less than max caused an increasingly dull picture but updating the firmware seemingly fixed it.***
With the Galaxy Book Pro 360 I feel like you're getting your moneys worth with both what's inside and outside. You can enjoy the perks of a low profile, lightweight and smaller laptop yet you still get a full touchpad, full keyboard and a large screen with a beautiful display. Whether for personal or business use, this thing can truly do it all. My actual rating is 4.5 STARS but we can't do half stars, so I'm still giving it a 5 because the rest of the product makes up for the potential shortcomings.
PROS
- USB C port on both sides (Thunderbolt 4 on left, regular on right) for easy charging of the Galaxy Book Pro OR other devices when not in use.
- Full size laptop without the downsides of being full size (thin & lightweight)
- AMOLED touch-screen, Beautiful image quality
- Lightening Fast
CONS
- While it has a stylish finish, it's very prone to smears and fingerprints.
- Wobbly and slightly weak hinges when half folded
- No dedicated S Pen integrated slot inside (attaches magnetically to cover)

Not For Everyone, Results May Vary

Since this product is suitable for both males and females, both myself and my wife have used it for 6 straight weeks with one treatment per week. Ultimately this review should have been simple - did it work or did it not? The unfortunate answer to that is - kind of.
6 WEEK EXPERIENCE
I used it on my chest and my shoulders. I wanted to use it elsewhere (like my neck or ears) though I couldn't but more on that below. My wife used it on her armpits, left arm and left leg. She took the extra step and did only one side of her body for comparison. Each time we shaved before use as instructed. We made sure to use it the same way each time, not passing over anything more than two-three times, too.
- MALE (me)
A week after the 2nd treatment I noticed a difference in my shoulders but I saw little to no difference on my chest. After the 3rd and 4th treatment, my shoulders were hairless and some areas of my chest finally showed results. After the 5th and 6th treatments little changed other then my chest slightly improving.
My end result was mixed. My shoulders which had the thinnest hair faired the best. As for my chest where hair was thicker, some areas it worked but some spots it only half worked or didn't work at all. The missing areas aren't the product window size, either so it doesn't seem to be that I simply missed them every time.
I did experience some discomfort. Overall, my chest experienced the most and my shoulders the least. The 3rd and 4th uses created the hottest sensation on my chest and the warmest on my shoulders with the most tenderness experienced after. Meanwhile other weeks I felt nearly nothing on my shoulders and little on my chest including the 5th and 6th times. Any tenderness after use was only slight for only a short amount of time or nothing at all.
*I was hoping I would be able to use this on my neck because shaving it is so tedious and I get tired of doing it but unfortunately it can NOT be used on the male face or beard. Although I was disappointed, I completely understand since the hair follicles are too dense. They say you can not use on ears either so that's why I didn't use it on them.
- FEMALE (wife)
After the 2nd treatment she started realizing the device can't be continuously used without a cooldown period. More on that below. She didn't really start to notice results until after her 3rd treatment. By then growth was slower and less on her arm only. Not much else was noticeable. After the 4th treatment, some areas of her leg showed results but some spots did not. There were no results on her armpits, yet. After the 5th and 6th treatments, her arm and leg showed even more improvement but her armpits did not. Her arm showed the most results. However, her leg was still very patchy.
Her end results were hit or miss. It worked very well on her arm. Her arm was hairless with significantly slower and less growth towards the last few treatments. It was less efficient and slower working on her leg but it did have slower and less growth as well. However, it also experienced the same patchiness as I did on my chest and seems like it would need twice the amount of time. Unfortunately, she saw no results for her armpits.
Her discomfort experience was different than mine. Over time her leg and arm experienced less as suggested. However, her armpits were the most painful and remained so every single treatment. She will not continue use on them.
ISSUES
The product just seems to be very inconsistent. Some areas it worked very well but others it just didn't for unknown reasons. It doesn't help that the treatment window is thinner than the product end. Because of that space, you can't see exactly where you're hitting which makes it difficult to use efficiently. But even so, after 6 uses neither of us can say we didn't go over the patchy areas at least enough to show some kind of progress. You can't pass areas more than a couple of times in a single use so you don't have the luxury of continuously going over the same areas 'just in case' without potential harm. For certain areas, I don't think we could have possibly missed that many times for it to just not work at all. If holding the button allowed for it to be continuously on, I think it would make a huge difference. Over the course of the 6 treatments we found the discomfort to be inconsistent as well where in some cases it actually increased some weeks or remained the same as opposed to the "less over time" it suggests.
CONCLUSION
While the product does work, the "whole body treatment takes just 10 minutes" marketing is an exaggeration. You can only use the product for about 90 seconds before the pulse slows down regardless if you were holding the button or not. It then requires a significant cool down to return to normal speed. Between that and the fact that the contours of your body prevent the button being held for long periods, there's just no way your whole body is getting done in 10 minutes. The device was difficult to glide and it does not move smoothly over your body. It's hard to keep track of where you actually hit. As far as effectiveness, It seems the thinner the hair the better and more quickly the product works. However, your results will potentially be patchy or uneven until you get to where you want it to be. Overall I think the Smoothskin Bare is best for small areas and thinner hair. While you can certainly make use of it for your whole body, I just wouldn't expect it to be as simple as they make it sound. The discomfort the device can potentially give will also be different from user to user. While I did select YES to if I'd recommend it, I'd only "recommend to a friend" after explaining all of these specifics.
They requested 6 weeks of use before writing this review and then updating it after 12 weeks, but due to Best Buy not allowing the updating of reviews, I can only provide our results after 6 weeks. Regardless, please note, your results may vary. You may fair better and maybe another 6 weeks will solve our patchy problems but after seeing little to no progress in some areas this far I'm personally not entirely convinced yet.
PROS:
- After the initial weekly treatments, routine upkeep will become minimal after thus saving time
- Skin tone sensor is a smart safety feature. It only allows the product to activate when skin tone is correct and full contact is made
CONS:
- Use can be potentially uncomfortable or slightly painful.
- Maintaining full contact can be fickle, making holding/gliding difficult
- The thicker the hair, the less efficient it works
A few other helpful warnings to know before purchasing (this is NOT all inclusive, refer to the website for tons more of important and helpful information. I recommend reading ALL the safety information included in the booklet before use):
It's NOT for people with diabetes. It's NOT recommended for those with skin allergies, serious skin conditions or skin cancer. It is NOT for use on eyebrows, eye lashes, scalp, lips, nostrils or ears.

Self-Service Made Easy

The Breville 3x Bluicer couldn't have made blending and juicing any easier. The product and button interface design made putting the necessary parts together and using it simple. The blender has 3 pre-programmed functions (Smoothie, Pulse/Ice Crush, Frozen Cocktail) that automatically does the job for you by using the exact amount of pulses and speeds necessary before stoping. The juicer has 5 speeds depending on the density of the produce but is via manual on/off switch. The large opening means more throwing of items right in whole and less cutting and overall work. In fact, it works best when doing so but more on that later. There was nothing that I threw in this thing that wasn't perfectly blended after. Check out the end of my review for examples of what I made and further details on the capabilities.
Cleaning is also easy. Almost every part save one is dish-washer safe. But it does warn it could deteriorate the plastic over time so just rinsing all the items works just as well. It comes with a brush to help clean the very fine metal mesh of the filter basket which was nice. Just a heads up, juicing is messy. Having a garbage disposal makes cleanup much easier after using it. There will be a lot of pulp and leftover parts all over inside and using your disposal will allow you to just rinse and dump it into the sink as opposed to hand scraping it all out into the garbage. When done right it will be dry which should help if that's how you need to do it.
As good as it is though the product isn't immune to a couple of faults. Firstly, I was really disappointed it didn't come with any kind of recipe/how-to idea book. Especially for someone who is new to such a machine like my wife and I. It just seems a bit contradictory since the product design seems to revolve around, from what I would think, a beginner. It did however come with a really nice visual guide for the juicer telling you which speed to use for which produce item was is nice but that is all. On the product page for Best Buy it says it can also do nut butter, milks, dips and desserts. Nothing in the package, on or in the box mentions any of this so you wouldn't even know all of its potential just looking at it on a shelf. Everything is trial and error or you have to research yourself. They could have at least given a simple recipe guide on the basic how-to concept of each type of preparation (juice, smoothie, frozen cocktail etc...) with their machine. There isn't much on the Breville website either other than a few ambiguous videos. Every kitchen device these days come with something and for the price of this machine there is no excuse.
As for the machine itself, the only issues I found is with the juicer. While the product is made to handle whole items, this also becomes a minor flaw. The area above the filter basket is roomy so your produce may have the potential to bounce around and go out into the pulp bin before you can get the food pusher in sometimes. I recommend putting your food in as large of chunks as possible if whole is not an option. Larger and harder items work the most efficiently. Softer foods like a mango will just splatter inside if the pieces are small, take my word for it. Additionally, another minor issue I feel is the juice exit hole is too high in my opinion and juice gets trapped on the bottom. Once you're finished you'll have to take the top off and drain the rest out through the spout.
Beyond this, it's worth noting the machine was bigger than I expected. I added a picture that offers a size comparison to a coffee mug. Storing it and all the parts does take up a bit of room but this is a subjective issue depending on your situation so I'm not going to knock it for it. It technically replaces two machines though so that's a positive way to look at it. The actual rating I'd give it is 4.5 stars but I can't do halves and I felt rounding down was more accurate.
PROS:
- Preprogrammed buttons do it all for you!
- Completely blends anything you throw in it.
- Large opening for whole fruit.
- Visual juicing speed selection guide.
CONS:
- Blade not removable.
- No basic "how-to" or recipe/idea book.
My wife and I tried a plethora of different things to test out the Bluicer's potential. Below are some of our experiences to give an idea of what this machine can and can't do.
SMOOTHIE - You can use this option for more than just smoothies! You can make milkshakes, nut butter, guacamole and more.
Chocolate Banana Smoothie - We used chocolate almond milk, peanut butter and I even threw in a vanilla cookie and graham cracker. It perfectly blended everything.
Mango Banana Smoothie (pictured) - With original almond milk. Again, smooth and perfectly blended.
Guacamole (pictured) - It was literally as easy as peeling/depitting the avocado and throwing the other ingredients in there which also included tomatoes and onions. It was amazing! The hard part was scooping it out since the blade isn't removable, though.
Breakfast Oatmeal Smoothie - with overnight oats and fruit. Delicious and perfectly blended.
Banana Chocolate Milkshake - One of the best milkshakes I've ever had! I just through stuff in it (including chocolate bar pieces & Belvita biscuits) and it was completely smooth.
JUICER
Mango Blackberry - This was our first attempt and how we learned chopping things that are too small and too soft doesn't always work efficiently. Still good from what we got.
Apple Mandarin Kiwi - It handled the large apple like a champ. It was amazing. Other machines have a de-foamer, this machine apparently does not. It wasn't a big deal to me but maybe for someone it would.
FROZEN COCKTAIL
Gin, Lemon Vodka & Orange Juice Frozen Cocktail. The ice was completely blended with not one shard to be found. Max ice at a time is 10 oz. which is what I used. I do wish it could do just a bit more in case you were making a family size portion.

Superior Camera

SETUP
Setup was really easy. The app leads you through the entire process of installing it whether it be wirelessly or hard-wired, which the latter is what I use. I'm no stranger to DIY things but the instructions were so clear I feel even the least savvy people could do it. I did add washers to the screws before putting them in however as I felt there wasn't enough contact to the backplate. I just happen to have spares as none were provided so I do feel that is something they could add to the kit.
CAMERA/DEVICE
I'm currently replacing a generation 1 competitor's device. Considering that, the video quality is a vast improvement for me. It has a large, square ratio view with a crisp picture which remains true even at night. The square ratio allows it to view the ground so it can alert you to packages (with Arlo Smart). While it was physically bigger than I expected it still has a much sleeker look than my current device and it looks nice. Unlike the competitor's device there is no sound outside when pressing the doorbell. I had mine turned off anyway so this was perfectly fine for me but for those who are also changing to this brand and liked having that feature in the other, the Arlo Video Doorbell does not have it at the time of this review. The "call" to your mobile device when the button is pressed is really convenient to those who use the talk feature often. I personally never use my doorbell to speak but I tried it out with my wife for the purpose of this review. I was impressed with the audio quality. It was very clear and both me and my wife could hear each other and carry on a conversation without any problems or delay. I also love the pre-made messages you can play for the visitor if you don't want to say anything yourself. I may just use them for those insistent solicitors that keep returning and don't accept the lack of answer each time as a no.
ALEXA
Alexa (I have an Echo Show 8) has issues with my command to "show me front door" which only worked sometimes. The voice notifications that "motion was detected" worked immediately after setup and continues to work without a hitch, however. But I do find there is a delay which the reason I suspect is below. Currently there is no support to disarm your doorbell if needed, either. Hopefully these things can be fixed in time.
DOWNSIDES
The one thing I really miss is with the competitor device, I knew exactly which camera detected motion because I had it soley for the doorbell and then I also have Arlo for my regular cameras. So my popup and sound notifications told me right away where it was coming from. Now it's the same notification icon and sound so I have to physically pick up my phone and go through each alert to see where it came from. I wish they would add a feature to separate the notifications of the Doorbell and alternative camera devices so by sound alone I knew where it was. When the doorbell is pushed it uses your current ringtone and I wish there was a way to make that different, too.
I'm also disappointed I can't connect the device to my base station. I feel like a big part of the reliability I've always had with Arlo is since everything was connected to the hub it maintained a good connection with my router. I found my notifications after motion detected by the Doorbell were delayed in getting to me. I have a great connection in my house and I don't have this problem with the other outdoor cameras connected to the hub thus it makes me suspect this being the issue. Then of course there is the fact you can't use local storage either. Maybe one day they will update this?
PROS:
- Large, clear view
- "Call" feature upon button press with pre-set messages option.
- "Voicemail" feature for "missed" calls (can be turned off entirely if you wish, also a plus!)
CONS:
- No base station connection (no local storage)
- No separate notifications from regular cameras
- Potential delays/issues with your assistant devices

panasonic is making a comeback
By decoylogic
I waited a month before writing this to make my review as fair as possible.
Pro's:
+ excellent picture
+ easy remote navigation
+ great price
+ easy setup/menu navigation
+ decent apps/fast browsing
Cons:
- Panasonic's software has a hard time syncing/mirroring with our samsung phones. It's only connected once since I've had it.
-no software updates (as of right now. Hoping there will be in the future)
In all, for the price it's a fantastic tv. We bought a panasonic smart bluray player and that solved the mirroring issue.

I will probably be purchasing the TV myself and I only came across this because I was researching info but it looks like a firmware update is on the Panasonic website. (Firmware version 2.096) Perhaps it's the version the TV ships with but figured I would post and let you know. :-)

Make sure you have a compatible headset before buy
By finalfantasy from myrtle beach sc
I used it with the 360 turtle beach x12. If you have the controller plugged in to a play and charge at the same time, your friends will hear the static sounding feedback. The volume and chat had to be adjusted and tinkered since it was on the pad and turtle beaches. I seriously thought about getting a compatible xbox one headset instead when it goes on sale. So beware while it works, to me it wasn't the greatest.

Just curious, did you change the camera video quality in "Video Settings" to best video? There is a slider that balances quality vs battery. Default I think is the middle (optimized).

Best of Both Worlds

Before you do anything, run the Dell SupportAssist program and click the link for Drivers and Downloads. Find your service tag under the flap on the back of the device and type it in to get the updates for your device. I agree with others that have mentioned this as these updates do seem to fix most of the major issues for people. Two of which I had experience with myself but I’ll come back to that later.
Let’s get to all the good things first. The first notable thing is the quality of the device itself. The body, the feel and the look of the XPS is beautiful. It looks and feels extremely well made and durable yet at the same time it’s still very light and portable. It's small without feeling small considering the high resolution. The display itself looks amazing and the sound quality of the stereo speakers is impressive (at least to me). I didn’t expect this thing to output such good sound but it surely did to both me and my wife. I love the large 2 in 1 touchpad with the built in buttons. I found it very comfortable and intuitive and I think I like it better than any previous laptop I have used. To top it all off, having a backlit keyboard is SO convenient and makes me never want to use another similar device without it. One of the biggest things I’m a stickler for with keyboards is how they feel. When I use one I either like it or I don’t and fortunately I really do like this one. The keys feel good, are quiet and laid out nicely where I never miss a key.
The next notable thing to mention is the touchscreen since that is half the device’s appeal. After playing with Windows Ink, playing a touch intensive xbox game off the windows store and using it for general tasks, my wife and I have found it to be flawless. It’s extremely responsive to the T (literally). Windows Ink allows you to draw, paint, write and take notes at any time including whatever is on your screen almost instantly. There are plenty of programs just for it in the store that extends its capabilities whether it’s creating a cell animation for fun or professional use. Windows Ink seems full of possibilities and I’m sure I will continue to find new ways to both make good functional use of it and a little fun. I saw you can get special stylus pens with buttons that utilize the Bluetooth compatibility which I bet offers a ton of potential uses. Flipping it from laptop to tablet is seamless and just allows full freedom to use in any way you currently please. I enjoy using it like a hybrid with a combination of touch screen and keyboard. When I’m in the mood and I only use it in tablet form the touch keyboard is more than capable. Plus however you fold it, it stays. Overall this XPS is fast, intuitive and an all-around great device.
Now - the two things I personally had issues with that I previously mentioned was the fingerprint reader and the dynamic backlight control feature. Originally there was no option to turn off the DBC which automatically adjusted the screen brightness based on what you were doing in order to save battery. I, like many other people, find this feature bothersome. Dell was great enough to add this option in an update so now you may turn it off. For those I saw who said they still had the problem after installing it, if it only happens when using Microsoft Edge then make sure you have the browser setting for “reading view style” to default. I believe this is what I changed (I had it on light) to stop it from auto adjusting during internet use. If I’m mistaken than I apologize. As for the fingerprint reader I had some issues using it. I ran through the calibration twice too. My wife had no issues whatsoever with it so the problem was isolated to just me. Perhaps it had something to do with the size of my finger plus some user error but ever since the update it has been good since.
Aside from that, here are my perceived shortcomings of the device. By far my biggest gripe is this thing isn’t easy to open. Opening any device should never be a struggle and at times you really have to put a lot of effort into opening it. All it needed was a slight, unnoticeable crevice/indent on the edge below the touchpad to get that small bit of leverage. It didn’t have to be much. It’s an odd thing to have a problem with on an expensive device like this although you could consider it very minor in importance. I much rather have this be an issue over something that affects performance. Secondly, the camera is located below the screen which is a new experience to me. I played with it once and found it a bit awkward and troublesome to get a good angle to take my profile picture. I’m sure with some practice I could make it work eventually but I just went with an image instead in the end. Putting the camera on the bottom like this was a compromise for size efficiency and to get the biggest screen possible. Something always has to give in instances like this and I believe it was a smart move but nonetheless, an accepted (and doable) flaw. Thirdly, I still can’t gauge how good the battery life is. I think I can get 6-7 hours of regular use, non-video, which is pretty decent although it seems lower than the description states. After I did the updates it seemed to definitely improve though. But like someone else mentioned it seems to drain when it’s closed and in standby mode. Also the “time remaining” doesn’t seem that accurate as the time drops a lot more rapidly regardless what it says which someone also mentioned. I could have missed an update and will go back and make sure I have everything so if anything changes I will update this part of the review after further use. Lastly, the fingerprint reader is very difficult to see in low light conditions. A slight superficial colored border or a change in the shade of black would have sufficed to find it quicker without squinting. I can't give half stars and it would be unfair to lower this to a four as I'd give it a 4.5. It's a definite 5 if none of this stuff matters to you for sure.

UPDATE
May 11, 2017
I can't update reviews directly so I'm adding a comment. While the battery life is still decent, I would have expected a lot longer for the price. I keep it on 10% brightness with battery saver on which is the only way to get a real extended use. The average for actual use (music, windows games... and while I have yet to test it, movies I'm sure) and normal (non battery saving) brightness is still 6-7 hours it seems. There are a lot of variables that can prolong or decrease the life but I didn't think I'd have to worry so much about it at this price point. I'd probably lower the score to 4 STARS like many other people have based on similar reasons. But again, if some of the things I mentioned don't bother or effect you that much then it's 4 STARS +.

Take in the scenery with this Parrot ANAFI drone. The robust, compact design lets you carry it wherever the trail takes you, and the drone unfolds easily when it's time for flight. The camera captures beautiful 4K images and video, and this Parrot ANAFI drone keeps your footage smooth with its three-axis image stabilization.Fly Responsibly:Before takeoff, update all software and firmware, and read the instructions thoroughly.See the FAA website for registration requirements and information about flying a drone safely: https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/. Additional state or local requirements may apply. Check your local jurisdiction. The following websites may help you make informed decisions about flying your drone: www.knowbeforeyoufly.org and www.modelaircraft.org.

I am looking to get a new Drone for outdoor flying. Should I consider this one or the DJI? I will be mostly inspecting the roofs for my clients so I need an hour or so of battery life (I will buy additional batteries). I may wish to record indoors too.

I think the 180 degree camera swivel is a key feature that makes this drone stand above when it comes to functional use. When you combine that with the 2.7 lossless zoom you can get pictures and angles of areas you can't with any other drone. I don't know anything about other drones though but based on principal alone, since this is the first drone to offer such things I don't see how others could pull off what this one can. Not to mention the compact design that makes this easy to travel with. It says 25 minute battery life so with a second battery you will get closer to an hour. I also don't see why you wouldn't be able to charge the drone in the car as you drive around to clients to extend that further.

NAT Type with Motorola SB6183

I bought a Motorola SB6183 and the connection speed to the internet has been great but the connectivity to my PS4 has not been great. When I hook directly into the Surfboard it gives me a NAT Type-1 which I am guessing is causing problems with the connectivity. Is there any way to change this on a Surfboard?
I'm only familiar with xbox but I assume it's similar, does Sony offer the ports for you to open (port forwarding) in your router to open your NAT? I would try looking into that.

Bring your home theater to the next level with this LCD HDTV that features 400 cd/m² brightness and 20W simulated surround sound for breathtaking visuals and audio. The PC input lets you use the TV as a monitor for your computer.

lag time between sound and action

while watching tv and movies you will at times see the mouth move before u hear the sound to match movements. also experienced the same thing when playing my WII where i would move the remote and the action was a half a secon behind. is there a way to make this better?
Better HDMI cables improve lip syncing/sound to the TV. It should say on the back of the HDMI box if it supports it.

Why dose it look so blury...i just got it today

I just posted a review but in short, get a good HDMI cable the SUPPORTS 120Hz, It will say if it does on the back of the box. It can look really bad after awhile (sometimes instantly for some) without one that does support it. But its a world of difference with a good cable!
