Decent lantern plus bluetooth speaker
on April 29, 2020

This is a decent bluetooth speaker but for me, it won't replace my traditional high volume speaker that I use everyday. This speaker is cute with color changing LED lights. My 4 year old son likes it just because of the LEDs, which was the primary reason I got it in the first place. I already own a High-power bluetooth speaker from different well known company that has lighting in it and my son gets excited every time we use it. I knew he will love this cute little speaker and I wasn't surprised. It can be a good kids party speaker but don't expect it to be as loud which is fine for the kids. It doesn't have the same amount of bass as other speakers that I own.
Speaking about the box contents, speaker comes with a remote, a USB charging cable and user manual. And just like any other product now a days, a USB wall adapter is not supplied which wasn't an issue for me as I have plenty of them lying around in my house. I immediately plugged it for charging upon opening. Mooni claims a battery life of up to 12 hours which, IMHO, is a bit too much to boast. The only way you can get that much battery life is if you just use it as a lantern and not as a speaker. I'm not sure if we can do it the other way around meaning playing music without lights, I haven't tried that yet. With both working at the same time, I would expect a battery life of around 5-6 hours at the max but that's just a guess based on my experience with similar products in the past. I haven't tested this speaker battery up to its limits yet. The lights in this speaker are surprisingly bright and you can choose from a bunch of solid colors or you can make it flash in different ways. When you connect it with your phone, it will flash with the music which my son likes but I prefer to just make it solid. I think that may also have some affect on battery life. You can set the light on different modes, such as solid light, changing light colors quickly and changing slowly etc.
Overall, it's a decent product at just about the right price, can be a bit cheaper but since it just came out, expect the price to stay at this level for a while. I'm sure price will drop in future.

Great addition to my loft TV area

This is a spectacular soundbar at the cost. The soundbar beats itself on different levels. Most importantly, the sound quality is awesome. The sound is fresh and the different ranges very much articulated. The subwoofer albeit is near splendid as it offers life to the soundbar's performance while watching motion pictures. I like it best with the all of the enhancements (3D surround, etc) turned off. I leave it in TV mode all the time and it sounds excellent. Set up was very basic. I love the fact that it has a HDMI passthrough, in fact I wouldn't have got it otherwise. My TV just has three inputs, so I truly expected to have a passthrough on the soundbar or I wouldn't have had the option to connect everything. The HDMI ARC and CEC work perfectly with my Vizio TV. The soundbar turns on and off with the TV, and responds to the TV's volume and mute controls. Couldn't be simpler! The main complaint I have is the volume taper is excessively gradual, it takes a ton of clicks on the volume up or down buttons to roll out a significant improvement in volume. But you get used to that pretty quickly. Bass is good for enough.
The built-in Alexa is gimmicky at times but does the job about 80% of the time. We stream music from Amazon Prime all the time. The instruction manual provided with the soundbar isn't detailed enough. I downloaded the manual online which contained all the setup related details and various other functions, features, FAQs and troubleshooting tips that are useful.
An annoying issue with this soundbar is that it only works with 2.4 GHz network which I think should have been avoided given its 2020 and companies are doing much better in this regard. Other than that, I am content with the nature of the sound that it produces and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Lives up to the expectation

This is our second Crockpot. We didn't have a good experience with our first one. It wasn't heating up enough to cook our food. So we contacted customer service and they asked us to fill it up with water and measure the temperature after certain period of time which we did and it was way below the required level. That was almost 2 years and I was skeptical to get another one. We have been living without one for all this time but when I saw this new Crockpot, I thought of giving it a try and I'm glad that I did. It's bigger than our old Crockpot. That one was 4 qt. as compared to this 7 qt. This is more than what we need as of now but I'm sure we will definitely be needing it in future while hosting parties (pretty common in our family). We just bought a brand new home and this has been a great addition to our kitchen. This shiny platinum colored Crockpot looks amazing on our kitchen counters.
It arrived almost 3 weeks ago and we've been frequently using it since then. I usually cook chicken in it while my wife mainly uses it for cooking lentils and sometimes mustard leaves+spinach which is without a doubt "the winter dish" in our culture. So I'm pretty sure she is going to get lot of use out of this Crockpot this winter. She usually cooks her meals overnight. My next venture will be cooking goat meat in it. I haven't done it before and would like to try it in the Crockpot. Since goat meat takes way too long to cook traditionally, I want to check how it turns out when cooked in a slow cooker.
This Crockpot is digital, an upgrade from my previous Crockpot. That also had the removal ceramic insert and dish-washable lid. So I wasn't much excited about these features but are nice to have. The timer can be set for up to 20 hours. Another nice add-ons are the brackets in the back to wrap the cord that decreases the chances of the cord getting ruined by improper storage. The handles are also rubberized, which don't get hot and make it easy to move it once it's in operation. Another new feature is the delay timer which I doubt I will be ever using. It automatically switches to the warm mode after the cooking is done.
Advertised at $60, it's a bit on the pricy end but considering the size and all the features, it's without a doubt a good buy. I would definitely recommend it.

Great camera, can be mounted anywhere
on October 31, 2019
Posted by: MacUser
from Phoenix, AZ
I had the opportunity to use this camera for more than 2 weeks now and have just one word to describe it: AWESOME! Really, that sums up all. We just bought a brand new home and security was our foremost concern. So when I saw this new camera from defender, I immediately grabbed it to give it a try. It already came with a 16 gb memory card which is sufficient enough for me but I may look into expanding that in future.
The way our home is designed is a bit different. We have front door and then garage is on complete opposite side (back side) of the house. We have a ring door bell on front door, so we can see who's there but outside the garage, its just a regular door bell. My initial thought was to upgrade that to a ring bell as well but then I changed my mind and decided to install a security camera. Hence the reason I got this one. It came with a template for drilling the holes and an extension cable. I installed it above my garage. It can see to the end of the street probably 200 feet away with a moderate amount of clarity. I can see what the weather is doing, and anything up and down my driveway. Wireless works great with streaming. It is a true wireless where the only thing you need to do is power it. Then when I'm remote, I can have access to my cameras anywhere.
Positioning the camera to point a certain was a bit of a pain. Definitely make sure of exactly how it is pointed before you mount it. If the neck of the camera were easy to change to any direction (could point left/right/up/down) without having the unmount it, that definitely would have been nice. It took us a couple of attempts to get it positioned exactly how we wanted it after seeing how the image looked at night, but required us to remount it since the neck position can't just be changed to any position once mounted. So my advice is take your time to decide exactly where and how you want to mount the camera.
PROS:
- High quality video with minimal delay. When viewing the live view in SD quality, the video has almost no delay and it has less than 1 second delay when in HD mode. Please note latency also depends on the quality of the network this IP camera connected to.
- The night vision is also better than expected and the motion detector works very well so the camera only records when there is movement.
- User friendly setup and fast customer support. I was trying to setup using wireless method first time and couldn't get it to work because my home network configuration is very complicated. I contacted Defender support and they helped me go through it easily.
CONS:
- The only problem that I faced was correctly mounting the camera in first attempt. Others may not face this issue, that's why I didn't deduct any star.
All in all, this is a great camera and I would highly recommend it to anyone who's in the market to buy one.

Awesome product....works flawlessly

Great power for the size. I use this as a quick means of charging my phone or small laptop-tablet and it does it well. It charges faster than the included charger my phone came with and is just as manageable since it's not a heavy brick, but rather just an easy to pack charger. Cable quality is a good solid plastic and the USB-C male end fit good with no loose feeling, a solid connection. Not good for MacBook Pro, the reason for which is mentioned below in the "cons" section.
The light on the device end of the cord is very bright, and is actually useful if you're looking for something in the dark, however if you're light-sensitive while trying to get to sleep, you may want to consider leaving this in another room or wrapping it with some black tape. The input cord on this also comes with a hook-and-loop (Velcro) strap for storage, which is a nice touch. Whenever I purchase any charging product, I worry about two things. One is how long will it take to charge a battery and two is how strong is the connection of the cable while plugged into the item you are charging. Well I can tell you both worked perfectly.
Pros:
1. Plugs into charging port extremely snug where it won't fall out easy
2. Charges my smartphone super quick, quicker than the stock charger
3. Long cable (8 feet)
4. LED indicator works well
Cons:
1. USB-C outputs 47W & not 65W, so if you are using it with MacBook Pro like me, that requires 61W, it will not be enough. You are better off using the one that came with your MacBook
Other than the above, I can't think of any other cons in this charger. Overall, this is a good product if your gadget doesn't require power more than 47W. If that is the case, I would definitely recommend this charger.

Perfect for my Macbook Pro
on October 15, 2019

Know your equipment and what it can do. Internet service providers and their services are only as good as the equipment (PC, Laptop, etc.) you are using. I own three laptops, one macbook pro, one macbook air and one dell (windows). Both Apple laptops don't have ethernet port, making my high speed internet pointless on these devices. This simple adapter changed all that, my laptop internet speed doubled. Also, several online reviews highly recommend linking computers on your home network using ethernet cables because of their incredible data transfer capabilities. To work on a mac, you have to download the drivers but it was easy to install and took about a minute. Initially, when I began researching USB to ethernet adapters, I found many of them suffered from poor performance, either slow transfer rates, despite gigabit connectivity, overheating, and an overall sense of unreliability. From that, I knew I wanted a few things:
1. A USB 3.0 adapter, to achieve gigabit
2. An adapter sold or supported by a reputable company
3. Something with it's own processor, so it's not sapping off mine.
Platinum basically sells cables for specialized uses. If you need an HDMI to USB cable, they'd likely have it. They're very good at what they do, and I knew this would be a good product just by the brand name. I've used it now for a few days, on a regular basis, and have had zero issue. It's actually saved me a few times, when I needed to do some advanced troubleshooting, packet sniffing, or bridging connections. It gets warm, but not hot. Transfer speeds are consistent, even over USB 2.
Admittedly, I haven't done any bench-marking to provide real performance statistics, but I can tell you that there was an immediate speed increase in backups that I perform across my gigabit network to my server. In my estimation, the speed has more than doubled. That's good enough for me.
It is so rare these days that a product just works and does what the seller/manufacturer states it will do. I've used other similar products and this is one of the many that work and work well. It's a simple design, but it gets the job done. As mentioned above, I've used it on 3 different devices, it has worked without a hitch every time. You have it up and running in a very small amount of time and it delivers rock solid speeds. The adapter is small, light, and easy to have in your laptop bag.Go ahead; pick you up one today & enjoy better speeds than wireless while at home or wherever; You Will Thank Me

Personal massager that is always available
on September 27, 2019
Posted by: MacUser
from Phoenix, AZ
I have had this gun for about two weeks now. I was very impressed by the company's help with questions as well as tips and the community that backs its products. This is my first theragun product. When I received the product I was happy to see that it came in a nice case so I didn't have to work about finding the one that works. It came with a multiple of tools from the foam style ball, to the bullet style. The foam ball is great since you can hit along the bone without it bouncing hard on it like a lacrosse ball. The bullet head allows me to dig in and break up the knots or just dig deeper. The flat attachment allows me to work the muscles after a work out without digging too deep. All the different attachments really covered all my therapeutic needs.
I got injured at work when lifting some heavy equipment a while back and found that a massage gun is a nice must have. I begin seeing a chiropractor after that injury and they use a gun like this one to loosen up my neck & back for the adjustment. It always feels so wonderful when they used their gun and helps the muscles in my back to relax and loosen before the adjustment, but sometimes I can't get to their office for weeks at a time and the knots return because of work. So I decided to get a gun for myself to use regularly for those stubborn knots, and boy am I glad I did! I very much feel Ii staves off what many think are aches & pains that we just all have to learn to live with as we age. Being able to work out knots and stimulate blood flood using this massage gun is fantastic. It is now part of my daily routine and I plan on continuing to use it for the long haul.
This gun is even better than the one my chiropractor uses! It penetrates deep into the muscle tissue and causes a warming sensation in the muscles due to stimulating increased blood flow in the area it's used on. I've never experienced that warming sensation when my chiropractor uses his gun, so that was an added bonus.
One issue that I noticed is the loud noise that this massager makes. Now I haven't used any other massage gun before, so I don't have any reference to compare. Hence the reason I didn't deduct any star. This is a great product. Bonus points for ease of use, multiple attachments, and two speeds to chose from. Works great for just after working out or right before working out to warm up sore muscles. Not to mention customer service has been GREAT! Very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this product.

Very good vacuum with great performance
on July 14, 2019
Posted by: MacUser
from Sacramento, CA
This is a great cordless for a small home or apartment for sure. It was relatively easy to get everything together, get the battery charged, and start cleaning. It does a good job with the dirt we track in every time we come in the house. There are a couple of things that I like about this vacuum, and that is how lightweight it is. While it is difficult to convert this into a handheld at first, it’s super rewarding afterwards. You can pretty much clean anything: clean your car, maneuver tight corners, vacuum the stairs, lift it up to the curtains in your house, hoist it to the ceiling van. You can clean it all! It has multiple nozzle attachments ranging from an upholstery, dusting, and crevice tool, all of which can be plugged in to the main machine itself. If you want to vacuum in the middle of the night or can’t see well, then this also comes with a super bright LED light. Very convenient!
It comes with the standard tools like a crevice tool and a small head for furniture, and a small brush head. Like most vacuums today, the tools are kind of cheap plastic, but they do work. I like the brush head because it works well on upholstered furniture. The small head works on surface stuff, but it doesn't brush loose any ingrained dirt as there are no bristles. But it works on surface stuff. For deeper cleaning I use the brush head, which also works well on the baseboards. This Hoover ONEPWR transitions perfectly on any surface, from hard wood to carpet, with no loss of suction. Maneuvering the vacuum was fairly simple as well, requiring just a twist of the wrist. I didn’t find the vacuum head difficult to get used to at all, and it’s actually so much more innovative with its ability to change tracks with such ease.
The battery seems to have a decent charge as I was able to run the vacuum for about 25 minutes, which let me do several rooms. The suction was fairly good--one amusing or weird thing was that when I first started using it and had the regular floor tool on it, the tool "preferred" to go forward and not so much back. In fact, the suction seemed to pull the head forward over the floor and there was a bit of drag or resistance when I pulled it backwards. But it didn't spit out any dirt (which other vacuums I have used have done) on either the forward or backward stroke, so It seems to pick up dirt and hair fairly well.
Overall, I really enjoy this stick vacuum. Well, assembly is a little bit overwhelmed, but once you get paste that stage, everything is great. One thing I noticed is that the buttons are super sensitive. I brushed over the power button by accident and the machine turned off. Sensitivity is great, but in this case, I need to get used to not getting close to the power button. What about other buttons? They needed to be pressed to activate/deactivate.

Ultimate Pain Reliever
on June 30, 2019
Posted by: MacUser
from Sacramento, CA
I own the large cylindrical Hyperice Vyper and have found it very useful for my legs, but too large and cumbersome for use on upper shoulders and neck. When I saw this item, I decided to try it. I love it!! I use it 7-8 times a week on my shoulders primarily, and neck. The shape allows me to focus on the specific areas of muscle tension to break up the knots, and the vibration is much more effective and less painful than using a lacrosse ball. With regular use on my shoulders, I have reduced the frequency of tension headaches and reduced my shoulder pain considerably. You do have to get used to it though as it may feel a bit hard during the initial use. I almost gave up but with regular use, I got a hang of it and now it's the most used massager at my home.
I like it so much that I took it with me on my last two business trips to help with the neck and shoulder tightness I get from sitting in uncomfortable airplane seats. I accidentally pulled my muscles while picking up a very heavy equipment 5 months ago and have been having pain in my shoulders and neck ever since. It gets worse after sitting for so long but this massager has been a blessing.
Fantastic for getting in on tight muscles. You will want to make sure you have a solid surface to use this on, basically a concrete foundation. At level 2, this thing shakes our house. Level 3 is almost impossible to control. My wife kind of hates this thing, but I love it. The unit feels heavy, which helps to drive it deeply into the muscles that need work. If you have severe muscle pain, tightness, or are recovering from a traumatic injury, don't waste time with the cheap imitators. The Hypersphere has dramatically improved my quality of life and improved my flexibility while recovering from my knee injury. It is absolutely worth every penny.
I will be using this massage ball continuously for many months to come. So far, with a couple of weeks of regular use, I can recommend this 100%.

Tough competitor for other high end brands
on June 11, 2019
Posted by: MacUser
from Phoenix, AZ
Honestly, looking at the price of the TV, I didn't expect it to be as good as other high brands but it indeed has exceeded my expectation. I don't want to name any brand but it definitely has given tough competition to them IMHO.
This TV that has smart features like a built-in Chromecast and various streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and more. It will not disappoint with its rich blacks, bright whites, vibrant color, and sharp picture. It’s enjoyable to watch all my favorite shows and movies on this TV and it has earned a well-deserved place in my house. When it comes to the way the VIZIO M658-G1 looks, it is pretty much perfect in my opinion because it’s all screen. No gaudy chrome accents or huge bezels, just a big gorgeous display with thin bezels that you barely notice and a tiny status LED in the lower left corner. I said that the VIZIO has thin bezels and I meant it. The sides and top bezels are only about a 1/8 of an inch wide and the bottom bezel with the VIZIO logo in the bottom right corner is only about half an inch wide. This TV has the thinnest bezels I’ve ever seen. They are almost non-existent. The bottom part of the input panel has HDMI ports (one with ARC), an optical audio out, audio out Left & Right, and an Ethernet port. It also has built-in WiFi. This TV also has a built-in tuner which makes it a good choice for someone who wants to cut the cord. It took only a few minutes to set up the VIZIO once it was mounted on my wall and connected to my Apple TV via an HDMI cable connected to the HDMI/ARC port on the back of the VIZIO. The included remote has a good layout and includes dedicated buttons to launch the SmartCast menu and for the built-in SmartCast apps for VUDU, Netflix, Amazon etc. The M-series supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision through HDMI Ports and through streaming apps. When you are watching content with an HDR signal, the info bar displays at the top of the screen with either HDR10 or the Dolby Vision logo. I had no problems getting my Xbox One to show HDR10 support on the M-Series. 4K HDR Gaming was really good on the M-Series. Input lag is super low, and playing Call of Duty: World War II online, multiplayer was a lot fun, and I had no troubles getting high scores. I was also able to cast from my iPhone and iPad to the TV while watching YouTube, and it's a cool feature and super easy to use, so I really like that as well. Blacks were super black without being crushed, and dark scenes in Stranger Things Season 2 were phenomenal.
One cool thing about the VIZIO is that you can control it using your voice control from Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa-enabled devices. You can use your voice to power the set on or off, adjust volume, and other basic commands. I can see this as a useful feature if you are a true couch potato and are eating in front of the TV and don’t want to use your greasy fingers to change the volume using the remote when you can just use your voice. I like the VIZIO's gorgeous picture and the fact that it has almost extremely thin bezels. I also like the built-in Chromecast, the built-in tuner, and that it is voice controllable via Alexa or Google assistant. During my testing of this TV, I’ve used it to watch content from Apple TV, BluRay DVDs, Youtube and Netflix through the built-in SmartCast apps and casting from my phone using the set's built-in Chromecast. The UHD content looks fantastic to my eyes. It does have a passthrough feature which is what I used. Overall, the VIZIO is the best TV I've used to date.

You step into the arena with your muscles gleaming in the light. Your opponent is trying to intimidate you with flips, splits, air punches and more, but you're not scared. The countdown ends and the battle starts. Within moments, a flurry of punches, kicks, special moves, roundhouses and more come at you — but you did your homework and are prepared. Just as a right hook lands and a leg sweep begins to take shape, you spot your chance. You jump to avoid the sweep and land a swift jab, sending your opponent back. As he staggers, you continue to duck, punch, kick and more. Just as he seems ready to counter your combo, you place a perfectly timed uppercut under his chin — sending him head over heels to the ground. With updated visuals, over-the-top action, adrenaline-pumping music and new Combo Breakers, the legendary fighting game franchise is back with Killer Instinct: Combo Breaker Pack. Select your fighter from a wild cast of combatants and step into the arena to battle it out in thrilling, heart-racing conflicts. Enjoy the fluid animations, distinctive tactics and flashy special attacks that are unique to each fighter. Arm yourself with the open-ended combo system to build huge combos as you battle your enemy, but beware — he or she will look for openings to break your string and turn the tides of battle. Featuring all eight fighters from Season 1, plus a bonus fighter from Season 2 via the included download code, you'll have plenty of combatants with which to head into battle. Are you ready for an all-new Killer Instinct experience?

It says it comes with all the season 1 characters
By StKnuckle
My kids like the game so I purchased it for them... box says it comes with all season one characters... They only have access to one dude... either something is wrong or it's harder than it needs to be to figure out.

Install them manually!
March 24, 2015
It does come with all Season 1 characters. A lot of people have had this problem of not getting them all. Luckily I didn't. You can manually install the characters if your console didn't do it for you. Once the disc is inside the console, go the box where a "white" disc is displayed. This box shows the disc currently inside the console. Hit the menu button and then go to "manage bundle" option. You can then install all Season 1 characters from there on. Hopefully this will solve your issue. I'm still surprised how it installed automatically for me!

What is it?

I have no idea what this product is. They placed it by registers and my 4 year old saw it and wanted it. Thanks best buy for putting useless toys by the register.

There's a reason why they keep them there and fortunately for them, you were the victim. Great review though. Made me laugh :)
