Great pressure cooker

Amazing pressure cooker! Worth every penny you'll spend and then some. I don't know where to start, it has exceeded my expectations! Honestly, I got this as a gift for my wife on our anniversary, she was always skeptical about such products - she is used to the classical approach in cooking but since it is a gift, she was kind of 'forced' to at least try it out. The most important thing is the easy usage, the instructions are straightforward as well as the controls. It has great program presets. It's also quick and doesn't create any noise. This is just amazing, my wife won't stop using it, we love it! The ability to cook easy and quick meals for me and my wife are a must, and the simplicity in which to clean up it always helpful when you have a toddler. This is our first instant pot. We are an Indian family and a pressure cooker is a "must have" kitchen item. So we have been using our traditional pressure cooker but I was beginning to think I was the only person who hadn't purchased or used an instant pot yet. So we got this one because it had so many good reviews. There are a lot of options and the screen is easy to read. I've not had it that long but have used it several times already. This new machine is quick, easy to use. I now use it several times a week for cooking Indian and/or vegetarian meals of all types. The cooker is easy to use and lots of recipes online; most of the time the recipes are universal for any brand. It is easy to program and seems quite safe.
This instant pot is well designed and built. It is an amazing addition to have in your kitchen! This ONE appliance is replacing four; a slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, and an “old school” pressure cooker! We have used this almost every day since the day it came. I look forward to making my next meal, and I have actually created a meal plan, which in turn will save me money on groceries. It is exceedingly easy to use, and is well built and made of sturdy materials. I have used it to make bean stew, which takes no more than 5 minutes preparation time. Just throw in your favorite dry beans, sliced onion, a tomato, some bay leaves, a whole sausage, some garlic a tomato and some seasoning and press a single button. An hour later you have the most delicious sausage and bean stew. It cannot possibly be easier. Furthermore, the pot is silent when under pressure, unlike traditional pressure cookers which you have to keep an eye on and pray they won't blow up when you forget them on the stovetop. Just press a button and go to sleep. No worries, no noise, no smell and your lunch for tomorrow is guaranteed to be delicious. If you know even a bit about Indian cooking, you know almost every dish involves sauté'ing and this instant pot has a pre-set sauté function. Believe me, this is a life saver. I am big time goat meat lover and problem with goat meat is that it takes longer to cook as compared to chicken. Cooking it in a pressure cooker greatly reduces cooking time. So this is going to be my next meal to cook in this instant pot. I want to cook it in two different ways: one with pressure cooker setting and next time with slow cooker setting as I want to check which setting cooks more delicious goat meat.
Let's look at some pros of this instant pot below:
* LCD display - one of the best things. The LCD display is miles ahead of any of the control panels on any other model offered by Instant Pot.
* Delayed Start: This is a great option, specially when you don't want to cook right at the moment.
* Ease of use: 12 pre-set function buttons.
* Easy to clean: (especially the lid) and I haven’t burned anything yet. Yes, it is big but
* Sauté Option: No more messy frying pans, kitchen stays cleaner using this function instead of a frying pan. One less thing to wash.
* Quiet - there is no comparison to the stovetop pressure cookers when it comes to sound. You can’t even hear this one aside for the beeps when it hits pressure and goes to keep-warm.
* Delayed Start: This is a great option, specially when you don't want to cook right at the moment.
* Ease of use: 12 pre-set function buttons.

As with any GE appliance, the fit and finish is top shelf. If all you want is a toaster, this is a pretty good option. It's nice classic stainless styling goes with everything, and looks like it will last quite a while. It feels good in the hand and the pop up spring is strong. The product looks like a high quality toaster and has good weight to it but isn’t heavy. Toasts evenly and perfectly and doesn’t burn even at the highest setting. I received this toaster couple of days ago and have already used it so many times. It arrived well packaged and protected, in absolutely pristine condition. Our family loves breads and bagels. That's our go-to breakfast items. It does everything it claims to with a simplicity; that means even a kid could make toast without setting fire to the house. Three is a nice well toasted piece of bread, two is good for thinner breads or if you like your toast just golden. The buttons are well marked and the lever moves smoothly without forcing or fighting. The knobs seem to move almost too easily. I'm happy with this toaster. I wasn't looking for anything complicated and this fits my needs.
It warms up quickly and evenly. No issues with hotspots burning your bread in one area or another. The release button to pop-up the bread is simple to use, located on the center of the heat/time dial. I toasted a bagel & I have to say that it was really one of the best toasted bagels I have had. It was very lightly toasted on outside & done to perfection inside. To use the bagel feature, (which I love & many toasters do not have this choice and are not wide enough), you first push the lever down with bagel in toaster & then push the bagel button on the front of toaster-VIOLA!! The crumb tray is secure & if used properly should stay that way. It is not too flimsy, it is as sturdy as a toaster should be. One of my favorite things is the nice wide openings! I am a bagel eater, most toasters, even though they say extra wide, are not always wide enough
Thus far, this toaster has been working up to par and as expected. I like the classy look. The toaster is extremely light, which is great for me, as I don't have a lot of space in my kitchen and I often need to store it away. The crumb tray makes removing crumbs from the toaster super easy. Thanks to its design, this toaster looks much more expensive than it actually is. I know it's just a toaster, but I've had toasters that kicked the bucket after a week or two! This one works excellent, doesn't take forever, and most importantly is easy to clean. So I would definitely recommend it.

This is a fantastic machine. Ever since hand held rug cleaners were put on the market, I've always wanted one. I'm incredibly stunned by the quality of cleaning this machine does. I got this to remove stains from a heavily used sectional, odor and normal wear and tear. This is a convenient all-in-one tool that is good if you (a) don't have a strong wet-dry vac and empty spray bottle or (b) don't want to bother lugging them around/need a more compact solution like this product. The instructions were easy to follow from set up, and use start to finish. This little beast is the absolute best at cleaning up all the quick spills, food and unidentifiable dried up nastiness my family leaves behind on fabric surfaces. It is compact and easy to move around. It's compact enough to sit on standard stairs without toppling over. It has a bit of weight when the chambers are filled but not enough to cause fatigue. The hose length is adequate since you can easily move the PowerDash from point A to point B. If it is too long, then it is unmanageable to re-coil, then you would have another set of complaints from people. Also, if the cord length was longer, it would take more time than I care to spend to wrap it up. A retract feature would be one more thing to break and then we would really complain. Regarding the noise, it is louder than I would prefer but it may be just as loud as a standard vacuum cleaner. It does not bother me enough to do sound comparisons since I am just cleaning spots.
It came with a sample bottle of professional cleaning solution to be added into the water. It was able to penetrate the stains, remove them, and leave a fresh smell. The machine itself is relatively light weight which made it easy to move from one spot to another. This unit consists of a spray nozzle and a vacuum. Any of the 'cleaning' is done by the chemicals and any elbow grease you apply. The plastic doesn't seem that durable so you should not be too rough in handling it. That said its compact, has nice aesthetic design, and also offers a self-cleaning attachment nozzle to clear out the hose of any debris.
I cleaned my car interior with this PowerDash Go. I applied the solution directly from the bottle and scrubbed it in with a dish scrubber. Then let it sit for 15-20 minutes and vacuumed with PowerDash Go. After that I rinsed with plain water and vacuumed again. So much filthy water got vacuumed up, and the carpets looked completely different. It removed a lot of dirty water and the car is much cleaner. I did something similar to a car seat that had an entire 20oz soda spilled and soaked in, and the brown liquid just never seemed to stop pouring out. It's really gross but satisfying at the same time to see what's coming out of the fabric. If you think you have sprayed enough cleaner on the fabric, spray more. It is deceptive how small the spray nozzle is. At first I thought the suction wasn't working because no liquid seemed to be coming out and the carpet wasn't getting cleaned. Once I realized I needed to saturate it more deeply, it worked well. One of my primary concerns when judging a carpet cleaner is how much water it’s able to remove. Water temperature, agitation, and solution/soap no doubt play important roles, but if the dirty water doesn’t come out then the carpet won’t get clean.
It was very easy to use & I wish I’d had it this whole time. Normally I rent one of the big cleaners every few months and use that and it works great and looks and smells good, but I wanted something to use around the house on a more frequent basis. So after looking around I decided on this! It works beautifully to get stains and dirt out! If you have a car, or a carpet, a rug, a couch, or a bed you should have one of these. I got out stains I thought were permanent, but easily suctioned away. I once spilled a quart of paint on an apartment carpet. I thought I was doomed. I put a wet towel over the spill after cleaning up the mass of the spill, and then used one of these till it was all cleaned up. I thought there was no way it would work, but I was desperate, so I tried it. You couldn't tell at all that it ever happened. This machine will pull the vast majority of the water/cleaner you deploy with the sprayer, so it will not leave carpets soaking wet. The nozzle attachment has a nice clear window of the suction action, so you can easily tell when cleaning solution and soil is being pulled up into the vacuum. The size of the tanks are well proportioned, allowing you to cover a decent sized cleaning project without multiple refills. I would recommend cleaning the suction canister and brush after every use. Taking 5 minutes to clean the brush and dirty water container after each use will save you headaches with dried gunk clogging up the system later.
Overall, I would recommend this product as a spot cleaner or light wider-area cleaning. If you need something basic to clean some small stains then this should work out. If you're looking to do a thorough cleaning of a rug or furniture you should probably spend some more money and get a more powerful unit.

Improved water taste after filter installation

We live in Arizona and we get hard water here, well at least where we live in AZ, can't speak about the whole state. We moved here last year after living in Memphis, TN for 5 years. The water there was so much good tasting that it spoiled us. We expected same quality here but were surprised to see how weird tasting water we get. We were fed up of the water so much that I had to start water service at my home. Although, it doesn't cost us much if we refill it ourself (about $1.50/gallon), it's a hassle to refill those heavy 5-gallon jugs. But then I saw this awesome water filtration system by Filtrete and immediately grabbed it because I had been thinking about getting it since a long time and boy, has it changed our life. I'm so glad that I got it. I have not done any testing myself but I can taste the difference in our water. It makes all the water that flows through it taste fresh and pure, no chemical tastes or bad smells. Now I can use water straight from the tap just like how we did in Memphis. This might prove cheaper and definitely more convenient than hauling around water. And since it mounts under the sink, it goes completely unnoticed and leaves room for other items.
Installation was very easy. It took my about 20 mins for complete installation. All the hardware included were sufficient for an under sink install. I was surprised the fittings worked so well without adding teflon tape or anything. The unit is particularly tall, so you need to make sure you have enough room to not only install the filter but also to remove it from its holder, and extra 2.75 inches I reckon. The filter is very easy to replace- no tools required. It does drop water pressure by some amount which is noticeable but I'm ready to make that sacrifice, just because the water quality without this filter is horrible, not just for drinking but for other purposes as well. The splash from our kitchen faucet has made our countertop very rough because of hard water. So, there's no way I'm going to run that faucet without getting the water filtered. I like the fact that cartridge replacement will be a lot easier.

I received this about two weeks ago and had plenty of time to use it. This is my first gimbal and I wanted to spend some time before giving any review. I'm actually impressed with this. I had seen these at Best Buy displays many time before but never thought of giving them a try. I did some research on these this time and decided on getting this one. Needless to say, I'm glad I got it. It's super fun to use this. The OM 4 works in both portrait and landscape modes.

It measures approximately 276mm x 119.6mm x 103.6mm (unfolded) and weighs around 435 g (including the clamp and holder). They claim a battery life of up to 15 hours with a charging time of about 2.5 hours. And just in case you are wondering, the battery cannot be replaced. You will need to download DJI Mimo app in order to use this. The app offers consistent performance. I have an iPhone XS Max with a thick Otterbox case & I have no problem using this gimble with my phone in the case. It pairs via Bluetooth with your smartphone and uses the app for controls and personalized functions. If your goal is simply to capture a shake free video, you don't need the app, as the gimbal can keep your phone steady and secure without the app. DJI OM 4 comes with an enhanced quick-release magnetic feature that facilitates all of your shooting experience. Looks like they focused on improving how easily one can use the gimbal to create a video while considering a phone gimbal for regular shoot. Also, the latest DJI gimbal is a more convenient video stabilizer for people filming for longer durations. The only problem I I can see that people may face while using it with their phone it that the clamp may not play well with volume buttons on their phone. I didn't have any issue with my iPhone but my Dad has a google pixel and the clamp was right on top of the button. So in that case, we had to use just it without the clamp which worked just as fine.
There are so many things that you can do with the app that it's hard to cover everything here in a single review. I haven't played with all of them yet but whatever I've used, they are fun.
The DJI OM 4 offers an approach to catch smooth true to life video without holding your cell phone totally prisoner. Magnets connect your telephone to the gimbal arm. The DJI OM 4 is the new phone gimbal that makes catching consistent, vibration free videos, and it does this without totally hoarding your phone (except for the volume buttons as mentioned above). DJI OM 4 could be a phone gimbal that upgrades your phone video with easily smooth stabilization. Featuring the 3 axis, the latest DJI OM 4 gimbal produces shake free video. The 3-axis corresponds to how gimbal movements will balance around three axes: forward-backward, left-right, and side-to-side. This means that the gimbal can stabilize any movements you make in those axes, which creates vibration-free video. I know this is not the first of its kind but being the first for me, it's really impressive.
Overall, I'm very much satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it.

This is my first pair of audio sunglasses and I'm really impressed with them. Although, there are similar glasses available from other brands but Bose is Bose and you cannot beat them. I received them about a week ago and immediately opened the box because I couldn't resist. I mainly got these to wear while walking. We live in Arizona and sunglasses are "a must" before stepping out. What more would you want if you can get bluetooth speakers already built in the sunglasses that you don't have to worry about a separate pair of speakers. One less thing to carry along. With that being said, something you need to know right off the bat is that these will not replace your headphones. They aren't designed to do that. What they are designed for, however, they do an absolutely amazing job at: giving you crisp, clear audio while still allowing you to hear your surroundings. If you are walking around during the daylight by yourself, these are a beautifully simple, elegant way to listen to audio on your phone. They sound excellent and work with the phone beautifully. I adore using them for that single, narrow use case, several times a week.
BOX CONTENTS: It comes beautifully packed in the box with a carrying case containing the sunglasses, magnetic USB charging cable and a cleaning cloth. Although the carrying case is nicely made, even the packaging it came in is strong enough that it can act as a second carrying case. It's that impressive.
SETUP: Setup was pretty simple. They come pre-charged enough to get started and use for a while. As soon as I turned them on and wore them, a voice came through the speakers and I was instructed to download "Bose Music" app. I already own Bose Soundtouch 300 and have an app for it. I was expecting to use the same app but it's a different app. That was a weird assumption, oh well. I downloaded the app and followed the instructions. I proceeded with adding my new sunglasses to the app. I was little confused first as there was no option for the sunglasses. So I just decided to ride along and tapped on headphones option in hope to get the sunglasses recognized. I was right and the app detected the sunglasses. After that, it was just a walk in the park. Other than setting up, I haven't used the app again.
SOUND: Bose doesn't need an introduction. Everyone knows how good their sound quality is. These sunglasses are no different. Same build quality and same sound quality. I always keep a particular song (my all time favorite) in my playlist that I use for testing sound quality of any speakers. Needless to say, I tested these sunglasses with the same song. I was very much impressed with it. I just loved it. The only thing that I wish is it had little bit more bass to them. That's my personal preference, it may be good enough for others. I didn't expect to get great bass anyways since there is only so much you can do with speakers that aren't covering or are in your ears, but I am very happy with the sound. The sound is loud enough for the other person to hear if you have them on full blast. My wife was more than 15 feet away from me and was able to clearly hear the song I was playing. The other thing that really impressed me was the bluetooth range. I left my phone in another room to test the connection which was about 25 yards or more away from my room with no loss of connection. Now that's impressive. There's a pause/play button on underside of right temple which is conveniently placed for ease of use. Volume can be controlled by sliding the finger on side of right temple back and forth. How innovative is that? You can also make phone calls on these glasses as well, which is always nice. You can simply turn these off by flipping them upside down. They will shut off after a few seconds. That is also a great feature.
BATTERY LIFE: Bose claims to get up to 5.5 hours of battery life out of these on full 1 hour charge and up to 2.5 hours from a short 30 mins charge. While I haven't pushed them to their limits yet but I can see them living up to the expectations. When I received them, they were about 60% charged. I turned them on, set them up & used them for a while (the very first time) and the battery was still hovering around 50%. I put them on charge and they were fully charged in about 30 mins (give or take).
SUNGLASSES QUALITY: I have a long face and I always like bigger sunglasses. That's the reason for choosing Tenor over Tempo or Soprano. To me, it made sense to go with Tenor. As mentioned above, these sunglasses are expected to be of a great quality since they are made by Bose. The quality of the lens seems very good and provides a clear, shape image on par. These seem to be decent at blocking the sun.
Overall, I'm very much impressed and satisfied with these sunglasses. I agree they are a bit on the expensive side but they are worth it. I would definitely recommend them.

One perfect night lamp!

I'll be honest, I had never heard of this night lamp before until I saw it online. I was so impressed with the design & concept, I wanted to get my hands on it. So I immediately ordered and was so excited to use it when it arrived. I've been using it for couple of weeks now and I'm in love with it. We have owned many different Philips products and know how good quality products they make, This one is no exception. I did some research before ordering it and had no hesitation as people gave positive reviews. I enjoy having this on my bedside. It is a nicer way of waking up each morning versus my cell phone blaring. The lamp looks great on my nightstand, and the light it provides is warm and inviting. I love wake-up lamps in general, since they make it easier to get up in the winter when it's cold and dark when my alarm goes off. One of the main selling points for this unit was the smartphone app and I haven been really impressed with that functionality. The clock is dim, giving off a pale white light. The design is sleek and feels good to the touch. That probably sounds strange, but to turn off the night light feature, I just swipe my hand across the smooth, cool plastic. There's something magical about shutting off a light without a switch or knob.
It looks good, the working principle is in line with the advertisement and I have no problems with this product. When I bought it as an alarm clock, the sunset function was very good and I like the color transition. I also like that the clock/icon can be dimmed because I don’t like the bright LEDs in the bedroom. I use ambient sounds with lights because the light itself (albeit very bright) sometimes cannot wake me up. When the alarm is set, the intensity of the light gradually increases to reach the maximum brightness. The sound only starts playing at the set alarm time. After 1 hour, the lights and sounds will automatically turn off.
It's ideal for those who need to wake up before sunrise. Use the "Relax Breath" function to breathe in and out gently to relax yourself before going to bed. Track your sleep and bedroom sleep environment data. Use the lamp as a reading lamp or bedroom lamp. Bright enough to illuminate the entire room, soft enough to accommodate a small night light or table lamp. In my tests, the speaker quality and reception quality of the radio was shocking. Use the multiple alarm function to set multiple alarms for different days of the week or weekend.
The night light function is also particularly useful. I like to read in bed. This lamp can be set bright enough to make it comfortable to read, but even a 45-watt bulb has no harsh "edges." It will show that this lamp's transition from dark to day is incremental, rather than discrete jumps in brightness. This means awakening everything.

This is a great keyboard, specially if you have an iPad or an iMac. It works with macbooks and iPhones as well but I won't be using it for these devices as macbook pros have their own keyboard and I don't need one for my iPhone anyways. However, I did connect it with my macbook just to try it out. In fact, I'm writing this review with this K380 keyboard. It works great and I don't see any issues so far. It can be connected to three different devices and is very easy to switch between all three devices.
My main purpose of getting this keyboard was to use it with my Apple TV 4K but unfortunately, it doesn't work with that as the Apple TV 4K is 5th generation and this keyboard only works with 2nd & 3rd generations. This was very disappointing. Typing on apple tv is horrible and not very user friendly. People of own apple tv or have owned will definitely agree with me on this. Now I'm not sure if this is logitech's incapability or just apple tv's 5th generation doesn't support any bluetooth keyboard. I wasn't aware of that first and tried to pair the keyboard with my Apple TV. I went into Settings > Remotes and Devices > Bluetooth. Apple TV does recognize this keyboard as "K380 Keyboard for MAC" but when I click on it to connect, it tries and ultimately spits out the error that it failed. I tried at least 10 times using different pairing options before giving up. Tried searching online as well but there wasn't much support. That's when I found out it only supports 2nd & 3rd gen. It would have made life so much easier if it was compatible with 5th gen as well. Hence the reason for deducting 1 star.
Apart from this issue, I didn't find any other problem with this keyboard. It comes pre-installed with two AAA batteries and logitech claims to have two years worth of juice in them, of course that will also depend on your usage. The keyboard is budget friendly, specially if compared with Apple's own magic keyboard. Now, I've never used magic keyboard, so I'm not aware of its advantages over 3rd party keyboards but I've no complaints with this logitech keyboard so far (apart from the above mentioned one). The quality seems great. It doesn't look cheap like some other keyboards available in the market. Keys are quiet and have a good feel to them. I received this keyboard and my new macbook pro on same day (yesterday) and was very excited to use them. I treat any of my new devices as if they are going to break with a slight touch. They trigger my ASMR very easily. The keys on this keyboard are same. It feels so good to press them.
Overall, I'm in love with this keyboard and would recommend it.

This tiny little gadget is all you need if you have nothing but 2 USB-C ports on your laptop. My work laptop is a Dell one but luckily, it has 2 regular USB-A ports and 1 ethernet port along with 2 USB-C ports. While it was enough for me but at times, I needed another USB port but the existing two were already occupied by my mouse and USB headphones. Life was still going on. My personal MacBook Pro (an older model) has been getting very slow, so it was time to get a new one but when I looked into the new MacBooks, they only had 2 USB-C ports. Needless to say, I was disappointed but I get it, it's the future. This did keep me from buying the new MacBook. But when I noticed this Hyperdrive attachment, I was flabbergasted. I didn't know something like this even existed. I immediately grabbed this and also ordered the new MacBook. Surprisingly, the hyperdrive came earlier than MacBook. So I only used this for like 4 days but it has impressed me so much. It opens whole new set of opportunities that are impossible with just the MacBook by itself.
The box contains the hyperdrive hub, a magnetic grip (to secure hub better on MacBook), an extension cable and a beautiful leather pouch which makes it easy to carry around. The hub has an aluminum body and a great finish which matches with the MacBook Pro's. It has all the bells and whistles that one needs in a laptop. Below are the specs:

Good product, useless app

I was excited to get my hands on this purifier as it's my first one. Honestly, it's a very good product but on a higher end as far as price is concerned. Now let's just get straight to the point.
1) Packaging: As stated above, it's a high end product. So the packaging has to be like a premium product. The purifier comes nicely packed in a bag inside the box sandwiched between foam inserts. This purifier uses two different kinds of filters: a) Pre-filter & b) PECO filter. The purifier already comes loaded with both filters inside it and an extra pre-filter packed separately. Other than these, a cable is included in the package along with a users manual and a thank you letter from the company for buying their product.
2) Setup: Don't get me started on this. You are supposed to download an app called Molekule which I did. According to the company, it should connect to your purifier which is next to impossible. I've tried connecting it numerous times but failed every single time. And no, it's not a problem with my particular purifier. I've researched online, it's a common problem and the company very well knows about it. They have been working on it for quite a while now and have not succeeded in fixing this issue so far. The app finds the purifier but when you go on to connect it to the wifi, it shows error. If anyone has had luck getting it to work, shed some light on your experience. It's too frustrating to not have control over a product like this on the tip of your hands.
3) Operation: This particular purifier can be used in a room up to 600 sq. feet big. It has a touch screen on top and you control the purifier through that screen. It has 3 modes: a) Auto, b) Silent & c) Boost. Company recommends starting with auto mode, so the purifier can detect the surroundings and work accordingly. Boost mode is very loud and is only recommended when necessary. Like after doing a thorough clean up/dusting or vacuuming etc when you know there's a lot of dust floating around in the room. It emits a bright blue light thru top which is very noticeable, specially during the night. You have an option to turn the light off but that defeats the purpose of having the purifier because the light helps in the chemical reaction which will be explained below. The purifier will still work but won't be as effective. The PECO filter needs to be replaced every six months and pre-filter need to be replaced every three months. Remember you get an extra pre-filter with the purifier. So all included filters should get you through 6 months depending on your usage. The purifier will let you know when they need to be replaced. So the way it work is the purifier intakes surrounding air that passes through the pre-filter which traps big particles like dust etc. The remaining air then goes into the PECO filter where a chemical reaction takes place with the help of blue light (mentioned above) which breaks down harmful pollutants to their basic molecular components. The purifier then releases the clean air from top.
In my opinion, it's great product and is a must have item in a house, specially in a flu season and this coronavirus. It does live up to the hype that it has created but $799 is just too high. The absolutely useless app needs to be worked upon. If they can drop down the price in near future and fix the app, they can have more buyers for sure. At this price, I would not recommend this product unless you have that extra bit of cash lying around or absolutely love this awe-inspiring purifier.

My kids like the game so I purchased it for them... box says it comes with all season one characters... They only have access to one dude... either something is wrong or it's harder than it needs to be to figure out.

It does come with all Season 1 characters. A lot of people have had this problem of not getting them all. Luckily I didn't. You can manually install the characters if your console didn't do it for you. Once the disc is inside the console, go the box where a "white" disc is displayed. This box shows the disc currently inside the console. Hit the menu button and then go to "manage bundle" option. You can then install all Season 1 characters from there on. Hopefully this will solve your issue. I'm still surprised how it installed automatically for me!
