Decent dash cam with decent price

I've been using this cam for little over a week now and so far it hasn't disappointed me. It does the job as intended with little to no user intervention. Installation was easy if you know what you are doing. I've been doing a lot of upgrades to my car, so I didn't have much trouble installing it. It works great in the day time but at night, its not really very good as compared to the day time. That's the reason I took off one star. The cam can be mounted inside the windshield, I have it behind my rear view mirror to avoid any outward visibility. Set up was breeze but you do have to play with the exposure to get the recording right, otherwise the glare can wash out the scene. Controls are well laid out and are easy to use. It has a wide angle view which helps capture more area. The cam supports up to 128 GB SD card. The amount of data you can save will obviously depend on the quality of video you want to store. 1080p will take more space than 720p. The rear camera that shoots 640x480, that means even the license plates from cars right behind you are not readable. I would suggest using a 128 GB card, so you don't worry about running out of space too quickly. However, when you reach the limit of your SD card, the cam will automatically start recording over the previously recorded data. The good thing about this cam is that it will automatically save the video in case of collision. Overall, I am completely satisfied with this setup and will definitely recommend it to everyone.

Better than I thought!

I've only had this router for a week now, my review is mainly on setup and parental controls, that was what I needed. I read hundreds of reviews on all types of routers and then looked at their apps to see what reviews were there. This router had hands down the most positive info. It's parental control looked like something I wanted. Well it was as good as I had hoped and even better. It was very easy to set up. I am not a computer genius or tech guru, but I had no problem straight out of the box setting this up, simple instructions. I was wary of installing the router, but it turned out to be very easy. I simply connected the router to the internet cable, then to my laptop, plugged it in, and got a pop-up box with instructions on my laptop. In ten minutes, I had the network set up. We then took each electronic and connected to the network one by one and as we did we could label them in the mobile app. You will need to create an account by the way. Now I can look and see all devices (TV, phones, laptops, iPad, apple TV, google home, Xbox etc). Everything is working perfectly. I can set controls on any or all of the items, you can limit certain sites, set times, it was wonderful. I have a guest network and home and I can shut anyone off of the system I want at anytime with the swipe of a button. The power seems excellent, better than our old router. All devices, no matter where they're located, seem to have a powerful signal. In addition, video streaming is much more consistent with fewer interruptions. I'm glad the old router died, as this one seems much better. My 75 MBPS cable speed package went immediately from around 25 MBPS to 70 MBPS with ALL of my devices running at the same time. Sometimes, it has gone close to 100 MBPS but of course that's during the off peak hours. We have control where ever we are, shopping, work, etc. I can shut it down. I also noticed that some of the iPads ran better and downloads were faster, I can't say for gaming yet as I have not played much to test it out. I've only played Call of duty for couple of hours and it had been stable throughout but to actually check it's credibility for gaming, I would have to spend little more time playing but hadn't been able to do that because of my workload. Truly, I was impressed and very happy with this router.
In addition to all above perks, you get a cute little router that has been smartly and exceptionally well designed. This unit is, no doubt, a bit on the expensive side but is worth every penny. If you look at prices of some of its competitors, it's not that bad price wise. This router has yet to disappoint!

Great headphones

One good thing that I like about any headphones from Sony is their long battery life and this these WH-CH500 headphones are no different. I upgraded from LG HBS-F110 to these and the difference in battery life is literally as day and night. LG ones barely lasted 3 hours but these Sony headphones have been up and running since day 1. I haven't even charged them once. Took them out of the box and been using it for almost 2 weeks now. My iPhone is still showing full battery sign for them which is incredible. I only use them for about an hour everyday though. Sony claims they will hold charge for up to 20 hours and I am pretty confident that they will, at least for me.
Setup was a breeze. They connected immediately with my phone and never had any problem reconnecting them any time. That is one issue I faced most of the time with LG headphones. Control buttons are also nicely placed and you do not have to struggle to search for them while wearing these headphones. I got used to them after 15 minutes of use.
Now on to the sound quality. I am not an audiophile, not even close but I can guarantee you that these headphones will not disappoint you. I mostly use them while working out in the gym and they sound incredible. The sound quality is comparable with other expensive headphones from Sony. These are not noise-cancelling headphone but honestly, you can hardly hear anything from outside when the volume is about half way. Another good thing about using them while working out is they don't fall off while running which was my biggest issue with the LG headphones. They just didn't stay in the ear. They are very lightweight, which was a huge plus for me while working out. I've made call through them only once and it was flawless. No hearing issue on either side of the call (me and other person).
Sony has made storing of these headphone very easy. The ear-cups can rotate and line up with the headband, which makes them flat and much easier to store. Inclusion of a storage case would have been nice but for $80 price tag, it's too much to ask for.
To sum-up my review, I would definitely recommend these headphones to everyone, specially because of their low price. I mean it's very hard to find a decent pair of headphone from a reputed brand under $100.

Just another ordinary TV

I rarely leave negative reviews about any products but this TV has forced me to post one. I used to own a 50" HDTV which was working brilliantly for 4 years but then we decided to upgrade to a 4K TV and found this 60" TV which was an upgrade not only for the type but also for the size by 10". We were very excited when we got it and couldn't wait to hook it up. Needless to say, we opened up the box to connect as soon as we received it and immediately regretted our decision of buying it. The picture quality was no different than our old HDTV. We have Apple TV 4th Gen) which is NOT a 4K, so I thought may be that's the reason why we are not getting 4K content. But then I opened the inbuilt Youtube app and again, didn't find any difference in picture quality. I went online to see if there'a any settings that we need to change to make it better and found some. I made those changes. It did make some difference but not to our expectations. I've noticed majority of people, if not all, have the same issues. I am a no videophile but the issues with this tv have certainly made me think more about the quality.
Another issue that I came across is the restarting of TV on it's own. Mine, however, doesn't restarts, it just turns off by itself. So far it has happened for a total of 6 times during the 2 weeks of owning it. Initially, I thought my 2 years old son has turned it off but it happened again and again, so I'm sure it's a problem with the TV. I did read the reviews before buying it but thought that Sharp must have fixed it by now as this seemed to be a lifelong issue with the TV but I was wrong. I wasn't using Netflix when it turned off like other reviewers said. The only inbuilt app that we use is Youtube and other than that, we use HDMI 1 where apple tv is hooked. Luckily, we didn't experience any high pitch sound like others. However, there was few instances of lip sync errors while watching movies on Youtube. The TV also tilts backward a little as you can see in the attached picture. And no, we haven't attached the legs backwards. I already checked that. The legs clearly say "L" for Left & "R" for right. So there's no way you can put them incorrectly.
We sold our old TV couple of days after getting the new one and now are stuck with it. We are planning to buy apple TV 4K and hope that will make some difference but honestly, I would not recommend this to anyone.

Tough competitor for Google Home

I have to admit that I am really impressed with this smart bluetooth speaker. Like I mentioned above, it has given a tough competition to google home. First, because of it's relatively low price and second because of it's little time plus "temperature" display, which google home lacks. I wrote temperature in quotation marks for a reason which I will explain later. This Insignia bluetooth speaker lacks the ability to make calls which google home is capable of, hence I took 1 star off. Other than that, it is a very good gadget. Set-up was breeze.
As some people have complained about the clock being stuck at Eastern Time zone, I never had this issue. Looks like Insignia has fixed this issue now and it is no more there. When you ask about the temperature, it will speak as well as display the current temperature but that stays on the display for about 5 seconds and disappears which was the reason I quotation marked it above but I'm not as concerned about it as some other reviewers are here. It's not a big of deal for me. You can control the volume by your voice which is kinda cool as well. The only thing that bothers me is sometime if the volume is a bit high, you have to yell at it to listen to you. I'm not sure if all devices are like this or I just got a lemon. But all in all, I'm pretty satisfied with it and would definitely recommend it.

Just an average GPS watch

This is a sportswatch with a GPS heart rate monitor and targeted at athletes and gym-goers. I own an Apple watch and this sports watch was a huge upgrade for me considering the extra functionalities it claims to have and I have huge expectations from this watch. I haven't used it for long enough to explore it's all features but I'm sure it will live up to my expectations. I have known Epson to be a printer manufacturing company, never thought of them getting into the smartwatch business, but here they are.
Set up: First of all set up was such a pain. You will spend hours to set it up. Initially, I was trying to set it up through my phone but it wasn't working out (no pun intended). So I gave up and set it up in the watch itself. Then paired it with my phone. Don't forget to download Epson View App on your phone. I put it on charge as soon as I took it out of the box. It is fairly lightweight (less then 2 ounces) which is a plus.
Charger: This watch has a greatly improved charger. Many watches I have utilized/seen have a magnetic charger that is either ineffectively built or won't remain on the watch it's charging. This one is a clamp based charger that does a great job of holding the watch. You will literally have to force the charger to remove it from the watch.
Battery life: Battery life is very good as compared to my apple watch which hardly lasts for 2 days. Epson claims 20 hours of battery life but that's when you keep using it actively. If you are an intermittent user, it will last much longer, probably a week or so. Charging is also very fast. Mine got fully charged in about 2 hours.
Display: Display is also very good and clear. Everything is very easy to read. The feature that I liked the most & which most smartwatches seem to miss is the "raise to wake" feature like the apple watch. You do not have to press any button to check time. Just raise your wrist as you would do on a normal watch and screen will illuminate. Only thing missing is the touch screen functionality but that would have been too much to ask for.
One negative thing that I must mention here is the green flashing light at the back of this watch. This is basically a wrist sensor and is very bright which can be quite irritating at night if you wear the watch while sleeping to use the sleep tracker feature. One way around it is to wear the watch tight enough so the light doesn't pass through. Just my 2 cents.

Great clipper for the price

This is overall the third clipper and second Phillips' that I've owned so far. And I must say it hasn't disappointed me. The only thing that I wished was it had an adjuster within itself rather than different trimming guards but I think that actually defeats the purpose of having this clipper. The 5000 series is way more powerful, taking fewer passes to get the job done. I'm also more precise with this than other trimmers I've used. I don't know if it's the design, the awesome grip, the angle of the blade, or something else - but I'm certainly better with this one. The multitude of cutter heads and depth guides is a big plus for this unit. Not only do they give you versatility, but suitability as well. Sometimes these things get dropped, and if you are unlucky they land on the cutter end and the guide and/or cutter head gets broken. At least this one might still carry on serving some useful purpose after such an event. Also, I remember having a trimmer with an adjustable guide at some point over the years. I dumped it quickly because there was a real danger of the guide shifting adjustment -- towards the shorter end of things -- in mid stroke. The attachments are easy to clip on and remove, but fit snugly with no wiggle when in use. I do wish the length range had another option or two on the long end, but I expect I'll be able to find more attachments elsewhere.

Extreme Fun to play with!

This is a very exciting "toy" to play with which can be used through your phone. Toy if you play games with it and a learning center if you use with educational apps. It's literally made of foam which means you can drop the device and it won't break. This little foam cube will actually turn into a hologram if you download certain apps on your smartphone. It's really affordable for all that you can do with it. Users can download Merge Cube's official app "Merge Multiverse" which is a portal of 100s of other apps There are 3D games and puzzles, but there's also some cool educational apps as well. An experience where you can hold a game in the palm of your hands, manipulate the games in virtual reality; is pretty cool experience for the price! You'll feel like what you're holding is really there. This makes it extremely fun to play the AR games. So far I haven't found any drawback of this fun gadget, except its really "addicting". I will definitely recommend this to everyone.

Serves the purpose for "some"!

This was my first set of VR goggles. I have been wanting to get one but never bought them because I could never justify if they are worth it for me. But as soon as I saw these, I immediately grabbed them (considering their good reviews) and couldn't wait to open & use them. But all my excitement faded away after just 15 minutes of use. The goggles itself are very comfortable to wear and the phone (iPhone 7 in my case) fits very nicely but that's all about it. Using them was bit of a struggle for me and I can explain why. I'm a near sighted, so in order for these goggles to work, I had to adjust the focus on the lenses. The way you do it in these goggles is to move the 2 buttons on top from left to right and vice-versa. I had to move them closer to each other, meaning bringing both of them towards the center to set the focus & watch videos on Youtube. I still couldn't see it clearly. Not the goggles fault, just my eyesight is weak. The problem arose when I couldn't use the buttons while watching the videos on Youtube because when the buttons are at the center of the screen, no matter how much you press them, you won't be able to rewind or forward the videos on Youtube because to do that the buttons have to be on extreme left & right. You then tap once on left to back 10 sec, twice for 20 secs etc. and same for going forward. I wasn't able to do that. May be I'm missing the trick here but this was my experience. My second problem with this goggles was headache due to motion sickness. Again, this is my personal experience. I did read some reviews where people said they never had problems with motion sickness but experienced it while using these goggles. Mobile VR is pretty underwhelming and you'll probably put it down in a day or two. It will be interesting to use it with the cube but I hadn't had chance to do that. Price is okay but you will find way too cheaper VR goggles. I feel that this kinda stuff is basically for kids or the teenagers at the most. Adults like me will get bored of them quite easily unless you are too much into this "toy" stuff.

Perfect for a smaller house

Product works great. It does everything it claims. It comes with a premixed cleaner and is pretty much ready to use. All we had to do was charge it after taking it out of the box which took about 3.5-4 hours. Our dog drools a lot and constantly makes a mess when eating, and also somehow steps in stuff in the yard occasionally, so we got this to quickly clean up the mess. We finally used this yesterday after the dog tracked in a mess from outside, and it worked like a charm! We have a 2 years old boy as well in our home who makes equal mess as our dog. This vacuum has been a blessing for us to do the cleaning after all the mess made by those 2 little monsters. It is very easy to clean after use. Suction is sufficient. The only draw back that I found so far is if it is tipped on its side, to clean chair side skirts, the dirty water tank leaks on your hand and floor. The cleaning solution capacity is surprisingly small. It runs out pretty quickly. That's understandable as the machine is designed for small areas. It's very lightweight and easy to use. Being cordless makes it a perfect vacuum to carry around, specially if you want to use it to clean the carpet in your car, which we certainly plan to do. Definitely recommend!

My kids like the game so I purchased it for them... box says it comes with all season one characters... They only have access to one dude... either something is wrong or it's harder than it needs to be to figure out.

It does come with all Season 1 characters. A lot of people have had this problem of not getting them all. Luckily I didn't. You can manually install the characters if your console didn't do it for you. Once the disc is inside the console, go the box where a "white" disc is displayed. This box shows the disc currently inside the console. Hit the menu button and then go to "manage bundle" option. You can then install all Season 1 characters from there on. Hopefully this will solve your issue. I'm still surprised how it installed automatically for me!
