Great wired camera for your home

I already had the Nest doorbell camera, and I was looking for an accompanying indoor camera to keep an eye on my dog when I wasn’t home. I chose the Google Nest wired indoor camera to fit my needs.
The first task I had to do was migrate my Nest doorbell camera to my Google account, since the Nest account does not accommodate the Google indoor camera. Once the accounts were merged, the process of adding the Google Nest camera was very easy. Using your smart phone’s camera to capture the smart label on the camera identifies all the information needed by the app to begin the setup process. Within five minutes and after accepting the google user agreements and naming the camera you’re up and running.
The camera gives you the option to mount the camera on a wall or the ceiling or use the camera’s stand to place it on a flat surface. For my application I chose to place it in a cabinet to keep it out of site. The app gives you three hour history look back and Google-Nest have plans for you to capture longer history from the camera. All in all this is a very good indoor camera for keeping an eye on your home while you are away.

Great sound with a good fit

I picked up the Note 3S looking for a small pair of in-ear headphones. The size is perfect for most people to use on the move. They are made of hard plastic and do not have the usual silicone in ear cushions that allow a snug fit. Because of that they can feel a bit hard in your ears. The Note 3S allows you to control basic playback of songs and answering of calls. The sound from the Note 3S is very full and almost bass heavy. Voices are clear when listening to music and making phone calls. Each earphone has a mic at the end of a small boom. You can also customize your Note 3S with the Apple app. These are strong mid-priced earphones that have good sound for the price.

Exceeded my expectations

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received the Roomba J7+. My wife and I wanted a Roomba for a while and finally pulled the trigger. Right out of the box the quality of the Roomba is evident and there is little to no physical set up. Once you download the app for your smart phone, you just follow the prompt to set up schedules, launch the Roomba to map the area, check the Roomba’s health, view history of previous vacuum runs and update the robot settings.
Once you have everything setup, you are ready to set it loose on your home to clean the floors and the rugs. The first thing the J7+ does is map out the area it will be cleaning. The Roomba roams in and out of rooms learning where doors and furniture are and cleaning along the way. The process for mapping can take several sessions depending on the size of the area to be cleaned, and cleans along the way. During the mapping and cleaning process the J7+ will return to the docking station to empty and recharge the battery.
The cleaning process is fascinating to watch as the Roomba wanders around the house cleaning, creating a set pattern that was created during mapping the area. If you are looking for the Roomba J7+ to be a deep cleaning vacuum, it is not. The J7+ is great for surface dust and animal hair on hardwood floors and rugs. You can schedule when the Roomba vacuums by days and time, so its runs don’t disturb you.
One area that can be a pain is regarding the vacuum bags. You get maybe two and a half cleanings before it needs to be changed depending on the size of the area being vacuumed. A reusable bag would be better, so you don’t have to buy bags over and over.
Overall, this is a great addition to our home cleaning routine and works better then I would have expected.

Built like a tank!

When I received my Dell G15 - 15.6" FHD laptop I was immediately taken by how heavy it was. This laptop has some serious weight and for good reason. To combat heat generated by playing games there are some sizable fans at the top of the keyboard and below the screen. At over 5 pounds this laptop is not your typical portable computing device. With the AMD Ryzen 5 5000 Series processor the screens move quickly during general computer or internet use.
Where the G15 shines is with general gaming. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics are very good at rendering a smooth HD picture with very little motion lag during gaming. Having 8 gigs of dedicated RAM may be at the edge of the G15’s ability for more power-hungry gaming. Games needing heavy cache of memory may experience reduced quality or a measure of lag, however for general gaming the G15 fits the bill. The SSD hard drive is excellent at accessing program or gaming data very quickly.
The overall size of the laptop is larger than a general 15.6” laptop. That is to accommodate the higher performance components needed for quality gaming and the cooling fans as well.

The general computing on the G15 is smooth and quick. Pages load with little effort and display on the screen with sharp detail.

The weight could be considered a negative for some users and in reality this is more of a table top mobile device for gaming as apposed to a true "laptop". Most serious gamers are not concerned with this aspect.
As I said earlier the G15 is a tank and built for gaming!

Then Beurer BM50 is a battery operated blood pressure cuff. The BM50 allows the owner to add two profiles to track their blood pressure and heart rate. The screen is backlite and provides systolic, diastolic and pulse. There is a voice playback to tell you the BP and pulse. For some reason the voice is in a British accent.
This is a good quality device that provides accuate home blood pressure readings.

Good but could be great

I was excited to receive my new Miroir M600 projector. It's compact size and versatility made it very attractive. The first thing you notice when you open the box is the lack of instructions. There is a basic set up sheet that has a diagram with lots of arrows showing pictures of source types and inputs, but no instructions on how to turn the unit on and so on.
So, the first thing I did was mount the Miroir M600 to a tripod using the handy threaded mount on the bottom of the unit. Next, I hooked up my Blu Ray player to the HDMI input and tried to figure out how to turn the unit on. I turns out the Miroir M600 turns on by sliding the lens cover open. I never would have guessed that. There are very few controls for the projector. you have a +/- for the volume and a dial on the side for manual focus. That's it! In the quick start guild, you are asked to log into Miroir.com/M600-Manual to download the manual for more directions. Unfortunately, that is a dead link.
Now how does the M600 perform? Actually, quite good. The light output isn’t the best in a partially lit room, but in a dark room the picture is very good for this type of projector. It has a built in 5 watts speaker for use on the fly and a mini plug output to send sound to a larger sound system. This by no means is a home theater projector, but for parties, backyard, and office presentations, it works well. The color is a bit muted, and blacks are more gray than black, but again this isn’t a home theater quality unit.
My only issues lie in the lack of control and not having any instructions at all. With those two thing corrected I would have no problem giving it five stars.

Expansive sound field from a sound bar!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this Sound bar with wireless surrounds and Sub. Included in the box is a sound bar that covers the from three channel, two surround speakers with a wireless amp and a wireless Subwoofer. The sound bar has a USB, HDMI in and out with ARC, Optical digital input and a minijack. Set up is very easy with the included HDMI cable. Once the sub, wireless rear channels module and rear speakers are connected you are off to the races.
While watching the movie Ana, there is an Atmos start up quick demo that sounded incredible. The dialog and action scenes were very enveloping and clear. The Sub had enough bottom for the explosions. I did find if you increased the sub too much it sounded very boomy. The remove is the typical new Samsung remote small and compact with a minimalist feel with few buttons. The surround speakers are small and do not take much up space at all but still provide the sound all around you. All in all this is a great set up for a living room or game room.

Easy on the eyes

I recently pick up this 27" IPS LED FHD Monitor to make it easier on my eyes. First off this monitor has a very sleek form factor and doesn't take up too much room on the desk .
It is essentially plug and play and allows you to connect to your computer and you're off and running. There are two HDMI connections and a standard VGA video input.. There is a cable management system in the back that hides the cables from sight. The screen size is not overwhelming and with the larger screen I can have two windows open at the same time and they display fine. Color and picture quality are excellent, displaying in full HD.
This is a great monitor for anyone looking for a larger screen.

A competent printer

I already have the HP Officejet Pro 8035 and have been extremely pleased with it. I needed another printer, so I picked up the Officejet Pro 8035e. The two are nearly identical when looking at them, but the 8035e has enhanced security features that the 8035 didn't. These features, if you not aware might stop your set up dead in their tracks. More on this in a moment.
The 8035e is a feature packed printer that does nearly everything you might need, from printing, scanning, copying and faxing. Two sided printing is an ease. Scanning and copying with the document feeder allows you to process multiple documents at one time. With the HP print app for your mobile device or PC you are able to print wirelessly from virtually anywhere. Using HP+ gives you an extra year of warranty and a full year of Instant-ink from HP ink subscription service.
The only area that slowed me down during the initial setup was with the mobile app. As it walked me through the steps to configure the printer, I kept getting an unexpected error, but it didn't give me the reason for the error. Though I tried several times, I kept getting the error at the same point, connecting to WIFI. So I reset the printer back to factory settings and attempted to configure it with my laptop. Again I ran into the dreaded unexpected error, but this time it said the router's WIFI security was not strong. I changed my WIFI router with one with better security and started the configuration again. This time the printer setup was done in less than five minutes. The enhanced security features of the 8035e would not allow me to add it to a vulnerable network. I think this is a good thing, though the mobile app didn't identify the reason for the unexpected error and the PC app did.
This is a great printer for a small office or home office and is very capable for all of your printing needs.

Great Player

I picked up the BDP-S3700 Blu Ray player for my bedroom. I was looking for a small player that had streaming services. The BDP-S3700 includes the usual streaming services such as, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu. As for the player, it has one HDMI output, a digital coaxial output and USB input. The player includes an HDMI cable, power Cable and remote with batteries.
The player is basically plug and play. Once the BDP-S3700 is connected to your TV or AVR, the player walks you through the setup process in less then five minutes. The picture quality is very good as you would expect for a Sony Blu Ray player. This is a solid play for any system you may want to use it in.

You can have two head phone sets. If you use an RCA "Y" connector or if you TV has an optical out put and a analog (RCA) output, you could put one set on the optical and the second one on the RCA.

This computer does not have fire wire. Are there any slots available to where I can add a fire wire card? My older video cam uses fire wire, and my analog to digital converter also uses fire wire.
There are four expansion slots to add cards. That should help you.

Will this play work with an LG 65EG9600?
I know the 65EG6500 does not support HDR, but will it still send native 4k to the TV?
From my understanding so long as your TV is HDMI 2.0 and HDCH 2.2 and 4k it should display a 4k picture
