Amazing little brush system - nicely executed!
on September 25, 2021

from PHILLY SUBURBS
This is a nice little system for facial scrubs. I remember having something like this when I was a kid, and loved it, then it broke and I never really found anything that worked as well, until this came along.
You will find everything you need for a nice facial scrub. It comes in a nice case, with ventilation so it doesn't get moldy if traveling, and it comes with a stand that you can place it into when not using it. It has multiple brush heads, is rechargeable, and comes with a charging cable but not the charger itself.
They instruct you to route the charger into the base of the stand, and then when you sit it into the base, it should start to charge. That sounds good, but the charger plug does not stay put and it ends up pushing out of the base. No worries, will just lay it down and charge it as it needs to be charged, not worth losing sleep over this minor thing.
It scrubs well, but not too hard, and provides a nice clean feeling when done. I've also used it to get some of the dry skin off my arms from being in the sun, it works well at this task too!
So, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a decent facial scrubber that does the scrubbing much better and easier than if you try to do it yourself.

Designed in Sweden for expert removal of airborne allergens. Unlike a standard fan, Pure Fan Auto cleans the air of pollutants as it cools. Customizable to fit your needs, the fan features a colorful fabric pre-filter and Auto mode setting to auto-adjust to your real-time room conditions. Pure Fan Auto delivers more clean air than Dyson purifying fans¹ and removes over 99%² of airborne allergens like dust and pollen with Blueair's signature HEPASilent™ filtration technology. The unique combination of electrostatic and mechanical filtration effectively removes airborne allergens like dust, pollen, and pet dander with low noise and energy consumption. The fan works by pulling in dirty room air from the back through a pre-filter and particle filter using patented fan technology to deliver a gentle stream of clean, cooling air back into your room. Provides cool comfort by distributing air into the room at a 90-degree angle, so there's no need for oscillation. Upgraded features from the original Pure Fan offer simple air quality management. Set to Auto mode, the fan will automatically increase speed when particle pollution levels rise in your indoor environment and return to a lower rate once the air is clean. The air quality indicator (AQI) located on the top left of the fan keeps you up to date on the current status of your air. The LED displays one of three colors to indicate that room conditions are good, moderate, or polluted based on real-time measurements of fine particle (PM2.5) concentrations. Customize to your space with unique machine-washable fabric pre-filters available in five colors. Designed to catch larger particles to extend the primary filter's life, pre-filters in Arctic Trail and Night Waves come standard with the Pure Fan Auto. ENERGY STAR® certified for energy efficiency, Pure Fan Auto uses less energy than a light bulb.³ The fan utilizes HEPASilent™ filtration technology to clean the air as it cools with noise levels quieter than a whisper on low (25 dB) and less noise than a normal conversation on high (54 dB).⁴ Minimalist features are a breath of fresh air. Use the fan's two buttons to turn on/off, cycle through three-speed settings, set Auto and Night mode. Plus, the filter indicator light alerts you when it's time to replace the filter. Filter replacement is recommended about every six months. The Pure Fan Auto fits in well on a tabletop or directly on the floor in any area of your home. The balanced design is light enough to move easily, yet the low center of gravity makes it difficult to knock over. As an added benefit, unlike standard fans that use blades that get covered with dust and require disassembly to clean, Pure Fan Auto captures airborne dust before it has a chance to stick to the fan blades, using pre-filters that can be cleaned with a quick vacuum. At Blueair, our Swedish heritage inspires sustainability and quality at the heart of everything we do. Like our air purifiers, Pure Fan Auto is AHAM Verifide for Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR), certified by ENERGY STAR for energy efficiency, and certified by the California EPA Air Resources Board (CARB) for safe ozone emissions. ¹ Comparing dust and pollen CADR (AHAM AC-1) on high to Dyson purifying fans (TP01, TP02, TP04, HP01, HP04, DP04) ² Based on third-party testing of removal rate of particles, pollen particles (5-11µm) in less than 20 minutes and dust particles (0.5-3µm) in 30 minutes according to AHAM AC-1-2019 standard. ³ On lowest speed, according to GB/T18801-2015 standard. "Light bulb" is defined as an LED light bulb with 40 W energy consumption. ⁴ Sound pressure according to GB/T18801. A whisper is about 30 dB; normal conversation is about 60 dB.

Smart use of air from the air cleaner
on September 23, 2021
Posted by: stevefromtheburbs
from PHILLY SUBURBS
Funny, but I never thought of using an air cleaner as a fan. Of course they always blow out of the way but used as a fan, you are getting cleaner air blown on you vs, dusty air. Very smart idea!
So, as for execution, it does a nice job as a fan, but not as a whole room fan if you want to really cool down. It’s good, but more of a personal fan next to the couch or chair. Could be on a bedside table. It’s larger than I expected, but I have to remember it is really an air cleaner first, and are channeling the air to you for use as a fan. It works for me! As having been a World Trade Center first responder with respiratory issues, clean air is important to me. This cools me and provides clean air. It’s a win/win.
One small quality issue is that one of the rivets that holds on the handle was missing, and not in the box or wrapping, so it must have been missed at the factory during production. I don’t think it means anything to me, frankly it won’t be getting carried around much.
The unit has sufficient controls for what it is supposed to do. No remote and no WiFi or Bluetooth. No problem because it’ll be near enough to reach and change or simply get up and change it.
The air quality monitor drives the large led in the corner, and I like that! Easy to see if something is causing air quality issues not seen, like little particles (dust).
It is very quiet. That is nice because traditional fans are too loud and then everyone is shouting over the fan.
And you know, I’m so over trying to clean fans at the end of the season. It’s so time consuming and frustrating. This will not require that at all. Worth it for this reason alone!
Lastly it uses a unique pre filter that goes over the filter cartridge. There are different colors and such, but traps big stuff like hair and what not from going into the filter. Smart!

A nice addition to the Arlo lineup
on August 5, 2021
Posted by: stevefromtheburbs
from PHILLY SUBURBS
I've been using Arlo since they launched years ago. And to be honest, I don't know what I would have done all these years without it. They were the first to come to market with a fully wireless product, and it works.
Fast forward to today, I've got at least one of everything I think they offer from the camera line, and this is the latest offering I've gotten. It fills a void previously filled by leaving one of the wireless cameras plugged in to charge. So I replaced my "puppy cam" that I use to watch my front door and where the dogs tend to hang out, thus the "puppy cam" and while not puppies anymore, the name still fits.
This provides the camera, the mount, the AC adapter and cord, along with screws if you wish to wall mount this. I have kept it on the little table in the hallway, looking back towards the front door. It works fine, provides a nice 1080p view, and allows all the rules you would have with any of the other cameras such as when to record, do you want notifications, etc. All that is pretty Arlo typical.
The only thing I don't like, and I'm not willing to drop a star for it, is the lack of dynamic lighting/background lighting gain control. And my example picture will show why that can be important. Without it, the light coming through the door is overwhelming the camera and if I adjust the brightness of the camera to tame that, when the door is closed, everything is too dark. Since I have Arlo cameras outside, it isn't a big deal for me, but for some, this might be an issue such as wanting to see who is at a door that is backlit by the sun.
Arlo has come a long way, continues to offer innovative products, and products that fit the needs and budgets of the American people. Thank you Arlo for doing this, because since not all of us are able to buy the very pricey installed system from a security company, this fills that void quite well. It isn't perfect, but for the price point, I'd say it is about as good as anyone could have hoped for! It does include a microphone and speaker, so you can listen in and/or talk back, if desired.
One unique feature this camera has is a privacy feature. That allows you to put this into privacy mode, which puts a physical cover over the mic and camera - you'll know you've activated it in the app because you'll hear the click when the cover is engaged or disengaged. Very cool!
Adding this to an existing system, or a new system, takes no time at all to do. Follow the app guidance, and I had this online in about 30 seconds.

This will improve lighting for online presence
on August 5, 2021
Posted by: stevefromtheburbs
from PHILLY SUBURBS
I was a bit skeptical of how much a light could really do to improve how you are seen by others, when you are online. I was very surprised to see how much of a difference this light makes.
To include all the pics, I won't be able to include the unit pictures, but you can see for yourself how you think the light changes how you are seen online. It only makes sense, Hollywood, photographers, etc. all use lighting to improve pictures, so why not anyone else? Up until now there hasn't been as much emphasis on lights for this purpose. And in this case, this light is portable, since it has a rechargeable battery that lets you take it with you for when you don't have an outlet nearby. It also includes a very handy remote control that lets you change the lighting temperature (color of light) and the amount of light. By making these changes while in front of the camera, using the remote, you can achieve the lighting most suitable for your situation.
Since I'm not much to look at, I had my son't girlfriend take some snaps while doing some online presence stuff and you can judge for yourself how you see the light improving your pics/conference calls/reviews/etc. I think you'll see a big difference as I have. Highlights normally missed.
This light can also be used for a task light on the go, for other hobbies and such. But for it's originally intended purpose, it's really decent!

Excellent concept and product, one thing to know
on July 25, 2021
Posted by: stevefromtheburbs
from PHILLY SUBURBS
Let me say this is a very cool concept and well designed. It uses a metal case, not plastic. It contains a lighting plug for your phone and a usb c plug for your computer.
The one thing that lost a star is the inability to use this with an otter box defender, which I think is a very common case. A simple extension would have been helpful. I’m sure there are other cases it will. It work with but does work with the otter box commuter case.
Once you plug into your phone, you’ll be told you need the app. It’ll take you to the App Store to get the free app. Download and everything else is simple and easy to figure out. Automatic backups will make it easier to do future backups, the first one can take awhile depending upon the size of the pictures and files you have.
Worth it if not using an otter box defender. If using an otter box defender, will need some kind of extension adapter.

A system to get excited about, seriously!
on July 15, 2021
Posted by: stevefromtheburbs
from PHILLY SUBURBS
I work with electronic security, and have for the last 30 years. The market has changed and consumers can get access to products that only distributors and dealers used to be able to get. And it's being made in a way that many could install this on their own.
This is one system that you won't want to pass up. I have to say, there isn't much that Lorex left out of the equation with this.
Initially, with any electronic security, I worry about the use of the chips from China, as has been broadcast around the security industry. In fact, the US Government has forbidden use of products that have the chips. Look up the John McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Why is this an issue? Because they could be used to spy on people from a foreign Country. If that is your concern, you can set this up to be used as a "local" system, meaning it never gets connected to the internet. Wow! So you can set this up and not be hacked through the internet. Someone finally decided to do the right thing, and provide a solution for people who have concerns such as these! Most will end the setup if you don't connect to the internet. That isn't fair, what if you don't have internet and still want/need this kind of system? Lorex thought this through properly!
As for me? I'm past worrying about it at my house. You want to check on my neighborhood or my back porch for me, or even my dogs, go for it. You might even get a glimpse of me in my underwear once in awhile, and if you do, you'll regret it. Trust me on that one! Because of this cybersecurity concern, Lorex built into the app, the ability to do two factor authentication. Very smart! If a device signs in as me, and it isn't my previously used device(s), it asks me to confirm. Bravo! Problem solved! This system might get hacked, but if I don't confirm them as me, they won't get in. Since video is stored on the control center, not the cloud, they can't get to it without getting into my system, right? So this ends this discussion.
Since the storage occurs locally, and not in the cloud, there are no monthly fees! Thank you for that, I'm so tired of being bugged for $3/month, $9/month, etc. It isn't something I need or want, Lorex gives you the chance to get storage locally (more secure) without paying for it.
Now that we are past that, let me tell you this thing is feature packed! You get a base station, which is what always puzzled me why nobody else did this, with it's own monitor, and own radio receivers to talk to the cameras. So your cameras are NOT on your wifi, they are wirelessly connected to this base station and the base station is a monitor that CAN BE connected to the internet, if you want to. Or not. Your choice. But the base station is the biggest feature this thing offers. A security control center means no smartphone is even needed to get this running. Just plug in, learn in the cameras, and boom, you are recording and viewing video.
The cameras are very decent quality. They contain a light that is used for deterrence if desired, a mini-floodlight if you will, they also have an infrared light source for when low light occurs, they switch to black and white, and the infrared light makes it look like daytime. They are WIRELESS and BATTERY OPERATED! Woohoo! Truly wireless. Just charge them up periodically, hang them or sit them somewhere, and you are monitoring and recording video. Nothing to it. It took longer to unpack everything than it did to program the cameras to the system. These cameras are not waterproof, but are damp resistant. Can put them in places whereas they don't get flooded out by rain - under an eave, on your porch, etc. outside and can be anywhere inside. Many programming options on these cameras via the setup. 2K images out of this are amazing if you are used to anything less, you'll be impressed.
The control center is the main center for everything. It records video to a small Micro SD card that comes with the system (64GB in my unit), displays video, receives the signal from the cameras, and has a microphone and speaker so you can communicate through the camera. See a punk outside causing trouble or looking out of place, tell them to move on without leaving your home. Sound a siren to scare them off - the siren is in the camera. Or turn on the deterrent mini-floodlight. You can see the weather forecast, or the current weather conditions. Review video from the night before. Be alerted to activity seen in the cameras between the hours of XXXXX-XXXXX on certain days or all days, or not at all.
I could go on for quite some time about this system, one of the most advanced home security camera systems a consumer can buy over the counter (not from a dealer), can install themselves, and get full featured security cameras at a fraction of the price. This one is the right one to get, the control center is the be all, end all because you can view things, control things, etc. from there without even using a smartphone.
Oh, before I forget, there is a range extender to extend the wireless signal from the cameras to the control center/base station. Plug it in and sync it, it will fill in the wireless gap between the two. Amazing little invention and so glad Lorex thought to make this available. Range won't be an issue with this in play.
I would not only recommend this to a friend, I'd highly recommend this to a friend!!!

These need a dongle for wireless, not bluetooth
on July 4, 2021
Posted by: stevefromtheburbs
from PHILLY SUBURBS
These headphones would have earned themselves a 5 star review, had they also included bluetooth connectivity. My bad for not noticing this and it means a lot to me to use bluetooth, but that is only 1 star missing.
They are comfortable, they are amazing for gaming, and the battery life is really decent on these, this is supposedly due to the dongle used for wireless. Most importantly, they are comfortable for long periods of time. And these are comfortable if you wear nerdy glasses like me (or any glasses really), because they don't make your ears sweat and my ears typically get very hot.
The sound you get out of these is about as much as you could ever ask for. With gaming, you are getting sounds as though they are all around you, and it does help your game if you can hear things that are very subtle or quiet. These guys are from Germany, and are part of the Turtle Beach family of companies.
The mic is detachable, and it has the flip to mute feature as well. The headband, I forgot to mention, is very comfortable as well. And the USB-C charing is fast - which helps when your battery is going low.
The big dials on them helps adjust volume easily, not having to go through your computer to do. That is a huge plus.
You'll enjoy these, I'm sure, as I have. Great sound, great battery life, very comfortable.

Everyone should own these! Amazing product!
on June 16, 2021
Posted by: stevefromtheburbs
from PHILLY SUBURBS
Things like this, that work, are some of the most exciting things out there....this can save you alot of money, time, and aggravation. I live in a place that has no basement. Our utilities are on the first floor. And every year it seems, no matter how hard I try, something happens with the air conditioner that causes a leak in the closet. Maybe big, maybe small, but that depends upon when I catch it. Since this can babysit the closet for me, I have no worries. The hot water heater has issues from time to time, the air conditioner sometimes, and neither of these can happen because if they get beyond the closet, they'll ruin the floors. So, this is a truly great product to consider, if you want to know about leaks. I also have a 2nd floor laundry room, which is another source of concern. And over the years, I have had problems under my kitchen sink with the garbage disposal leaking - not alot, but enough. And one time, the hot water heater was leaking and we could not see it, it was leaking under the baseboards and into the living room, which then caused carpet mushrooms. Yes, disgusting, but true. You would never have seen them until you moved the couch to see it. I don't move the couch often enough I guess, but who does.
Use these amazing devices to babysit the water leaks for you. As an added bonus, they can monitor temperature and humidity as well, and notify you of that.
These do NOT require a subscription to maintain alerts. Seriously! So buy it and not pay an annoying monthly subscription for monitoring. Nothing could be better!
I have water detectors that are part of my monitored alarm system, but they pale in comparison to these. These are most like a hockey puck in size, and are meaty. They will stay where you put them. Many water sensors do not do that. These have 3 wide contact points so a few drops won't set them off. They use 2 AA batteries and are easy to replace by twisting the back plate off. Also, they have a built in sounder and blinking light. So even if you don't have a text on your phone, you'll hear them beeping for sure - it ramps up the tone to 94db or so it says. You won't miss it.
The installation of them was easy - put the batteries in and put them where you want them. The setup in the app didn't follow the instructions, I could not scan the QR code with success, it didn't like the number but you can skip that step. And it didn't always like the WIFI network settings part, but I could skip that too. It wanted my exact address, which I didn't use, they don't know where I have installed them..seems apps these days are data mining and I don't like that. But you can put in any address, even a generic one, and move on. That is what I did.
Tested them out, worked fine, and have gotten notifications on my phone both as text and push notifications. Simple and easy.
I will be purchasing more of these because I like the way they operate - they are heavy enough to stay put, and get a sense of confidence about them.
NOTE: There are two black circles on the side of the side of the detectors. One is a switch and the other is the temp/humidity sensor cover I suppose.....the switch is important because if you are like me, you might not have seen the actual switch and were trying to press the sensor that wasn't working thinking they had a bad switch. But alas, the switch is a switch, just keep spinning it around. I'll include pics of both below for reference.
One missing feature I wish I could do, was to do an on-demand update to see current temp/humidity levels, not when it last auto-updated. I don't like this, but I'll go with it; best thing out there that I know of, maybe they'll add that feature in the future.
There is the ability to get the Phyn whole house water shut off switch, and ultimately stop the flow of water, if you desire. My issues are mostly with the air conditioner and that won't help, but for anyone who is concerned about this, and automating a vacation home for example, would prove worthy the first time a water leak was detected.

This is very compact, mixed feelings; please read
on June 15, 2021
Posted by: stevefromtheburbs
from PHILLY SUBURBS
I missed the part about this being a COMPACT vacuum. That said, it makes it easier to explain how this is quite a bit smaller than a traditional stick vacuum. It is like a vacuum for a tiny house, a small apartment with tile floors, a dorm room, and/or a car/RV vacuum. Anywhere in which you want or need a much smaller solution to the almost cookie cutter larger stick vacuums. But, please note, this is NOT a good choice for anyone with pets, or alot of debris because if you have pets, you'll quickly realize the compact collector cup is really small. I took a picture of it next to my coffee travel cup (not a large travel cup) so you can see the size in comparison.
There are many great features on this that you will not find on other compact cordless vacuums. I must tell you that I've bought cheap little stick vacs for kids going to college and they were so horrible they got tossed before the season was over. This is not that vacuum. This is a quality small build vacuum. The battery life is decent, the suction is better than many larger stick vacuums, unfortunately there isn't much space in the collector cup for all it gathers up. There is filtration on the vacuum as well. So you can see why I say I have mixed feelings about it.
Anyway, the other stuff that is well thought out is the ability to charge this battery while still attached to the vacuum. That is nice. The removal button and process of taking the collector cup off, emptying it, etc. is also decent. A more than thoughtful idea was to include a rubber bumper kind of thing that allows you to stand this up against or onto something - in my case when charging, it can rest with the rubber bumper onto the counter top to prevent it from falling. Kudos on this feature, it is so helpful and so many times overlooked.
The UV head is a sweet and welcome concept. But I feel as though it is not well executed. Why? To start with, the UV head does not rotate, so you can only do back and forth (straight) strokes. More of a concern is that it appears to be a glass bulb that is used as the UV light source, vs. a LED plastic type bulb. I'm sure it is glass because the glass UV bulb is better for disinfecting or so I have heard, but what is an issue is that if that thing gets banged by something or the vac head is dropped (which happens all the time when you swap these heads/accessories out) it could break - I'm not willing to try to break it by simulating dropping it, but also what if it is accidentally banged into the corner of a sofa table or something and the corner hits the bulb. A glass UV bulb breaking is not something I want to have concern about especially with others who I rely on to periodically vacuum for me - they aren't careful with stuff like this as I am. So if this is glass, it is a concern in my situation.
There are accessories included with this, such as a bare tool nozzle, a crevice tool, and a dust brush. Plus it comes with a spare beater bar for the UV head. Thoughtful and helpful.
Unfortunately there were no instructions included with this vacuum (I checked everywhere, and not in there) to help instruct with the use of the UV light. This is a concern in that use of UV lights for extended periods in occupied areas can cause issues - a UV light I bought during the height of COVID included umpteen million warnings about when and how to use a UV light. Not sure of the prolonged use of UV lights or any warnings against use on laminated floors for example, which might harm surfaces or glue.
So, if you want a compact stick vac that can also help eliminate germs brought into your home, this is it. Don't know of anything else like it out there that works with suction comparable to a larger counterpart. If you want something a bit more traditional, or don't like to empty the cup, have pets, etc. than you might want to consider something else. I would definitely recommend this to a friend if the situation is right.

I would bet there is no better gaming laptop out there. Why do I say this? It offers everything you'd want in a gaming laptop or a serious business laptop, without making it a ball and chain tied to your leg.
It provides an amazing gaming experience, in a compact laptop size.
It has decent battery life, high performance, a display and video graphics card that will impress even the most hard to please gamers, and has standard 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. All of this in a laptop the size of most small 13" business laptops that are popular today.
From the keyboard, to the backlit touch pad, to the modest styling (not flashy, less likely to be robbed for it/have it stolen), to the proper sized fan for cooling, it seems this was well thought out and will separate itself from the amateurs. Did I mention the power button doubles as a fingerprint reader? Or that it is also a convertible, into a tablet? Or that the sound coming out of the speakers is beyond amazing.
As a business laptop, time is money. And this allows you to be most productive without a spinning wheel while it loads a page or saves/opens a large AutoCAD file. You can be off working or at least have open Outlook while you are listening to a web broadcast or working on AutoCAD. I've had many times I hear from peers in the drawing business that their bosses don't appreciate the productivity thing and cheap out. This is worth every penny if productivity is respected.
This is the first time I've used a gaming laptop and have thought it can be equally business as well as gaming because of its size and weight, plus nobody would know. That means a few things. It can be a dual duty machine. Or it can be used for business without folks thinking you are just a gamer who brought your machine to work for the day. The 16:10 ratio display, the graphics card, and the RAM/SSD on board means it can tackle just about anything you can throw at it.
But it is also a laptop that is easy to type on, and also the trackpad is responsive without having to scroll things 3 or 4 times to get a smooth scrolling on pages.

Perfect for taking a peak in on things
By Jahnjays from Chicago
I got this camera for keeping an eye on my parents, they are older and at risk for falling and other issues, this camera has already paid for itself ten times over! Not only does it give you a sense of security, it also gives my parents a peace of mind known that they are not alone and are being watched, unfortunately my father has fallen twice in the time I bought this camera, it allowed me to see him on the floor and I was able to race home to help him up, if it wasn't for the camera who knows how long he would have been laying there. The picture is not perfect but more than good enough, I actually leave it in Night Vision mode and the picture is great, also the microphone is impressively good. You are able to rotate the camera via your smart phone or computer, it's a little slow but over all I have no complaints. Well worth the money, I went out and bought 2 more for the rest of the house, the smart phone app is very easy to use, set up was a little bit of a pain, I'd say 1 hour but again, not bad. Honestly the best thing I have bought in years and I buy a lot.

This is the exact same comment as for another D-link camera. So, which is it really for?

What if a vacuum was so advanced it could sense the type of floor it’s cleaning? BISSELL SurfaceSense Pet vacuum can! Its intelligent SurfaceSense Technology can detect floor types and automatically adjust the brush roll speed to give you optimal cleaning performance on any floor type. It’s also our first vacuum with a Tangle-Free, Multi-Surface Brush Roll which has stiff bristles for cleaning carpet and soft bristles for vacuuming hard floors, so it can pick up everything from fine dust to larger debris across all floor types. SurfaceSense Pet vacuum has a One Touch, Easy Empty dirt tank and a SmartSeal Allergen System that traps fine dust and allergens while you clean. The LED headlights illuminate hidden dirt and debris while the Quick Release Extension Wand and above floor tools work together to clean hard-to-reach spaces, like upholstery and stairs. And this vacuum doesn’t just clean up after pets, it helps save them, too! BISSELL proudly supports BISSELL Pet Foundation and its mission to help save homeless pets. When you buy a BISSELL product, you help save pets. We’re proud to design products that help make pet messes, odors and pet homelessness disappear.

Is this a self-propelled vacuum? Is there a Bissell that is?

Not self propelled but is easy to maneuver because it has such a strong beater bar that kind of pulls it along. Bissell does not make a self propelled model that I am aware of.

How many filters does this have. Are they washable

This has a single cylindrical filter that is not washable. You can however, vacuum the exterior of the filter, to increase longevity of the filter.

Record and view impressive 4K video with this innovative recorder, providing superior clarity when it comes to your security. Can you disable audio recording for these?

You can turn that feature off, but can also turn on the privacy shield to turn off video and audio by using an actual physical filter. Or you can simply turn off the mic function and nothing will be recorded. You can keep the speaker function, in case you want to say something, but turn off the mic function so your conversations won't be overheard.

Protect your home while away without comprising your privacy when at home. Arlo Essential Indoor Camera captures 1080p video and offers a way to reassure your privacy with an automated privacy shield, controllable through the Arlo App. Receive motion alerts directly to your phone and use 2-way audio to hear and speak to visitors. See at night, with black and white night vision. Connect directly to Wi-Fi for easy setup. Get notifications on your smartphone when your camera spots people or animals, and view recorded video clips directly from your phone, with a trial of included Arlo Secure¹.

How do I look up past recordings on the camera

In the app, you can go to the recorded library of images. If you don't have any, I'd ask if you set up any of the rules to get this to record. If not, you have to set up the things ou want to do and when, to get it to record. This is somewhat easier said than done, but it is better than it used to be. Contact tech support for help if needed.

On the Arlo Essential, can the IR be turned off? I’d like to position it behind glass.

Yes, you simply turn off the "night vision" option in video settings. See the pic below that shows the option and where it is.

In the app, you simply do "add camera" and go through the instructions. Easy peasy. Takes about 30 seconds to add.

This LG CordZero vacuum has everything you want, from Kompressor technology that lets you clean more and empty less, to two rechargeable batteries that deliver up to 120 minutes¹ of uninterrupted cleaning. But why stop there? The Power Mop attachment gives hard floors a perfect finish—without messy buckets or harmful chemicals. Simply fill the reservoir with water, snap on the attachment and go.

Is the charger compatible with 220 V?

It comes with a 110 plug only with no adapters or anything included to make it 220.

Can this vacuum be used on concrete floors?

I'm sure it can be, it can be used on any hard or carpeted surface. It has a unique roller bar that is neither too hard or too soft, and should work just fine.

Would the mop attachment work on the previous CordZero model?

I'm confident they are interchangeable. As long as the connector looks the same, it'll work with it.

Can i use old a9 by attached A9 wet mop unit

I'm sure you can, as long as it is the same connection. The mop unit just swirls the cloth pads around and drips water out so it can be a kind of wet dust mop. It uses the power from the wand to do it. But it does not vacuum up anything, when in this mode.
