It's nice, but it just can't be my primary router

I’ve been in the market for an AC router for a few months now & this fell onto my lap.
I’m a techie - love the new stuff & like to put it up against what I’ll be replacing. One thing, I don’t do any gaming, so I can’t speak to it’s performance there.
To sum it up, I just *can’t* replace my Asus RT-N66-U with this router.
With this router, it has what you’d expect for a home-focused router. Parental Controls, QoS (set little Johnny’s XBOX to use less of your speeds that he can really pull), Port Forwarding, DMZ (gaming) and VLANs (security / isolation)
Here’s a quick speed test note — with my ISP, using this router, the performance for a Wireless N MacBook Pro on the 5G band averages 76.15 Mbps down / 12.32 Mbps up.
Flipping over to my Asus RT-66N-U also on 5G (keeping the laptop in the same spot, just switching networks), averages: 111.40Mbps down / 12.32Mbps up.
Hmmm. I don’t like that.
The same tests with AC devices (Nexus6 & Nexus9), the Linksys is roughly 10% slower.
The Mobile App as well, not great. It’s confusing … use your Admin password to the router, or use some Linksys username/password you created at some point? My advise ... skip it and use the Web to manage it.
This router lacks OpenVPN support so I can’t have it as my primary device - I’ve stopped opening up obscure ports to the world for when I want to access internal resources - when I can VPN-on-in and access them that way.
If you want to add AC capabilities and extend your network with this device, maybe consider using it as an Access Point (set a static IP, turn off DHCP and link non-WAN ports) - go for it.
If they roll out OpenVPN support further down the line - I’ll totally give it another shot as my primary router.
My Best Buy number: 2582652486
What's great about it: Ease of use, assembly, asthetics
What's not so great: Lack of OpenVPN support, download speeds slower than would be expected
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My First Robotic Vacuum

First off, most of the time ignored, is packaging. This has great packaging, which kept the device and all components dry as it was left out in the rain for a few days #thanksfedex.
Setup was a breeze, however I wish the 'station' had a battery backup to retain the time / schedule.
This is my first robotic vacuum so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into and the one thing that could be better, is the documentation talking about "what this thing is going to do." Yeah, clean -- but how, and do I worry about stairs? Well, hasn't fallen down the stairs yet (and I haven't used the invisible fence) and it goes over heating grates and transition bumps without issue.
It seems to be a little cautious with walls after it bang into them, forcing it to miss 'stuff' right along the baseboard. But now that I know, I'll just sweep the stuff off the wall, so that the little guy can pick it up.
It ran for a while and it went low battery - but didn't venture back to its charging station, which I find -- odd? I guess when the juice runs out, it just stops where it is. I ended up having to cut its cleaning short and just put it right back at the base.
Oh and it's pretty quiet as well -- which was nice to experience.
Definitely a nice addition to the house.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, quieter than expected operation
What's not so great: Battery Life

Would have been 5 stars if these didn't ...

So, these things hum.
I bought two of them for "5.2" and because of the audiophile reviews; 1 was in-stock in-store and the other had to be ordered and was rigged up today. The first one has a hum when plugged in - that's to any socket on any floor -- no change. In the corner of a 'media room' - the hum is very noticeable, so I wasn't happy. When the second came in, the same hum was present; I even listened to the one in-store and it too, had a hum.
So, to alleviate the hum, here's what I'm playing with now. I grabbed a dedicated 'accessory' surge strip - for my AppleTV, Chromecast, BluRay and the two Pioneer Subs. When I'm not using the TV / Music etc, I turn the power strip off; this eliminates the annoying hum - and once the movie / music are blaring, the hum is masked.
Will this also save some cash on having things powered off? We shall see.
But, tonight - the original The Fast and the Furious was fired up in DTS Master and it was cranking through my Denon AVR-X4000 after the second sub had been configured into the Audyssey MultEQ XT32. The rumbles and explosions were great - and outside of the hum, these things seem pretty good.
Oh wait, I put some electrical tape over the SUPER ANNOYING blue/purple light on the front.
That is all.

Compatible with...:Mac
With the floods in Asia driving up HDD prices, this is a pricey buy at the moment, however I have purchased two of them (so far) for use in my 5-bay DroboFS. The warranty seems like it'll be sufficient and [slowly] I'll be picking up 3 more, as prices drop once again.

Easy and quick setup

I chose this because I was having a hard time finding another video card for the available slots in the computer & figured, why not give it a shot.
I installed the drivers, plugged in the device & rebooted. The (now third) display came right up, refreshed, resized & was immediately available for use. It's been almost a week now & there haven't been any complaints from the employee using this device. It was installed on an 18-month-old Lenovo desktop with Windows XP SP3.
What's great about it: fast setup

Nice for the price, but buzz is annoying
By solandmatt from Chicago, IL
I appreciate the importance of quality sound in a home theater system but I would not call myself an audiophile. I needed a powered subwoofer to integrate with the surround speakers that I hooked up with a new receiver.
The subwoofer works great. Movies, TV and music sound wonderful, with deeper and richer bass than I expected for the price.
My only disappointment, and it is a major one, is that it started to buzz after a few days. It does this whether on or off. I have to unplug it because it is extremely annoying otherwise. I searched reviews and it seems that other customers have had this problem as well. An Amazon customer spoke with Pioneer tech support and they indicated that this is a known issue. I guess the price is too good to be true.

buzz / hum
April 20, 2015
I purchased one, ordered another to have the "5.2" - and the same buzzing / humming is coming from the one from the store. I'm waiting for my second one to come in & see if it's the same. If it is, sigh - I'm going to dump them.

Featuring a 1-inch CMOS sensor, powerful autonomous functions, and a compact body weighing less than 600 g, DJI Air 2S is the ultimate drone for aerial photographers on the move. Take this all-in-one aerial powerhouse along anywhere to experience and record your world in stunning detail.

can you use the air 2 app to fly the 2s

Short Answer: No
Longer Answer: There isn't an Air 2 App.
The DJI Fly App has been (seemingly) pulled by the Google Play Store (you may still have it, but it won't update), so you have to get it right from DJI now.
If you don't get the current App from DJI, you can't activate and subsequently fly the Air 2s.

Experience crystal-clear sound quality with this Sony 3.1 Ch. Atmos sound bar. Vertical sound engine technology creates cinematic audio that seriously enhances your listening experience. Enjoy smartphone and iPad streaming with voice-activated Bluetooth technology. This Sony 3.1 Ch. Atmos sound bar is easy to connect and features an adjustable 7.12-channel entertainment mode for enhanced listening.

This only has 1 hdmi input? So I can’t hook up my Apple TV n my PlayStation thru the sound bar? Or does it just pay to go with HTZ9F

Use an optical cable OUT of your TV and INTO the bar and use the HDMI ports on your TV for your accessories. That way, the sound will be sent through the bar and it'll be one less hop to risk degradation of the video signal. Any Apps on your TV will also go through the bar, so another win there.

I have a PS4, Blu Ray Player and PC running through this soundbar without issue.

The user guide has a cabling diagram that's very straightforward.

I read online that this mouse doesnt work with windows 10?

With the G Hub software for customizations (and to make the left-click work at first), it works flawlessly.

Can the Link 20 be paired to more than one device? I got it set up on my phone with the Google Home app. I put Google Home on my tablet. When I try to pair it can't find a device.

Pairing is for Bluetooth, Linking is for Google Home.
As long as your tablet is on the Same WiFi network name (linksys vs linksys-5G) and you're using the same Google account, it should be listed in Devices in the Home App.
If any of those items aren't the same (like using another google account), you'll have to link your account or join the same WiFi Name.

Make your home an internet haven with this versatile Linksys Velop wireless Wi-Fi system. Three identical tri-band dual-stream AC2200 routers, each equipped with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor, deliver lightning-fast internet. Equipped with Bluetooth 4.0/LE, this Linksys Velop wireless Wi-Fi system is simple to set up and pairs easily with computers, tablets and smart devices.

Have Linksys EA9500 which is hooked via Ethernet with my current provider which ihas a modem/router. Had to add 2 D-Link Power line adapters to get better wifi. Would returning all above work better with Velop?

I had the same thing. I disabled all of the functionality (Wireless, DHCP, etc), changed the IP (from 192.168.1.1, as the Velop uses that IP as well) and changed the hostname on the EA9500 and set these up with the same SSID that I had on the EA9500.
The additional devices only require power - no extra Cat5e/Cat6 cables needed. Since the Velop doesn't have a bunch of ports (just 1), I kept the EA9500 to act as a switch.
Spreading out the Velop units DOES make the signal better with little to no impact on speed.
