The smooth sounds of J.J. Cale highlight this performance but the power of Clapton is strong especially on "Got To Get Better In A Little While" and the rest.
I don't know that Van Morrison is breaking lots of new ground here but the music is a pleasure to listen to and what more do you really want from your music?
Telling a complex subject in a creative way with dynamite performances and a sense of fun and outrage at the same time. How many of your movies have done that!?
Another eventful day in the life of Jack Bauer, who's in a race against the clock to save the world while simultaneously staying on the run from the CIA. Set four years after the '24' finale, the heroic agent-turned-fugitive puts his freedom on the line by coming out of hiding in London to try and prevent a major terrorist attack.
The action and excitement continues. Would have preferred a full 24 hours since that was a fun part of the gimmick but the plot was still exciting and Jack continues to kick angry butt. A blast!
Disappointing realization of a great graphic novel

First off, spoiler alert... Bruce Wayne and Commissioner Gordon's daughter, Barbara, doing the nasty just took me right out of the movie. Really? Also, the pacing was slow. Skip the movie, read the excellent comic.
Deep it ain't but break out the popcorn and take the ride. Both London and Olympus never let up on the excitement meter. Suspense from first to last. A blast!
This release collects every episode from the fifth season of Falling Skies, the long-running series that takes place in the aftermath of an alien attack that left Earth a shell of its former self. Led by former history professor, Tom Mason ({$Noah Wyle), a group of human survivors who call themselves 2nd Massachusetts band together to make a stand against the alien invaders.
Falling Skies is one of those shows that if you haven't seen it in a while, you start thinking about it and miss it. At first viewing, it's a fun alien invasion story. Then the determination and strength of these characters gets under your skin. Even the bad guy, Pope, is admirable in his strength and brings the much needed conflict and variety to a band of righteous warriors. I'm proud of these guys for completing this story in five seasons.
Always liked the Trick so I had to give Bun E. a try. Thought I was just doing diligence to loyalty but was pleasantly surprised by how well it rocks and how much fun it is, especially in French!
Honestly, I've never been a big Peppers fan (more of a Zeppelin guy) but this disc surprised me with its smooth comfortable sound. Not what I expected. Very listenable and you can feel the Danger Mouse influence in positive ways.
