Another quality product from Arlo

When I took it out of the package, I plugged it up and let it charge while I was doing other things. Setup was simple and quick with the app and QR code that was included.
I installed this in my garage. Primarily because my wife has a tendency to leave the garage door open when she leaves the house and because my kids are always running in and out of there getting things, so it helps me key an eye on them. I also use it to confirm that our vehicles are started when the weather is cold out so my wife and kids don’t have to get into a cold vehicle.
This model is the 2k version and I cant really tell a dramatic difference in picture quality between this one and my late model Ultra. The app is very intuitive and gives you all of the necessary information at the palm of your hand. If you subscribe to the Arlo Secure service, you can store your videos for up to 30 days as well. With the service you can also I like that it works with Alexa, but it also works with Google. There is no Apple Homekit support that I was able to find, but since I have a mix of both, I’m covered.
Arlo offers three different levels of Arlo Secure and what I really like about the service is that you can add an unlimited amount of cameras for the same monthly or annual price. I remember when you used to have to pay for each additional camera and it got to be pricey. This is a welcome benefit to their service.
Overall, i really like the camera and the brand so I definitely recommend it.

Perfect for beginners or professionals

I've always had a passion for music and have always wanted to pursue DJing as a hobby. My family has a lot of gatherings and music is always a big deal when we get together. When I ordered this, I couldn’t wait to get it. It's important to know that this hobby can get expensive quickly, but this mixer is a huge centerpiece of whatever setup or purpose you have for it. The feature set is impeccable and you also get access to some lessons through the software that is included with it.
This mixer is a great thing to have to start off DJing. The mixer itself has two platters that simulate vinyl mixers and include two sets of slip mats that help with scratching. I put both of them on so I didn’t lose them, but they are easy to remove from the platters. You can also add your own if you have them as they are standard size platters. The platters simulate scratching effects and work great. The mixer also has retractable feet on the bottom that allows you to set it up higher in the back and low in the front or vice versa. You can also just leave the feet folded up and use it on a flat surface. The faders are also replaceable. Hercules sells an upgraded fader module for a small price and is easy to install yourself so there is no need to take it a shop to have it done.
The FX section is also a pretty nice addition to this setup. This allows you to change the frequencies of your music and adjusts the bass, mid and treble which helps you adjust your mixes. The beatmatch guide is also a great feature especially for rookies like myself. Once you upload the music into the software, it can scan the track to determine the BPM’s so you can transition or ensure your next track matches the tempo.
This mixer includes DJ Serato Lite and DJuiced software for you to use. You can upgrade to Serato Pro for an additional cost, but unless you are a pro, I would stay with the lite version until you. What I really like about the software, is that there are internal lessons that can show you how to use the mixer. That was invaluable to me as a newbie. I played with this thing for hours and I still feel like I don’t know anything, but the lessons definitely gave me some confidence in learning what to do. Im definitely not ready for any DJ battles, but I’m having a good time learning what to do with it.
I am using this mixer with a laptop and setting it up was easy. The mixer has RCA inputs and a USB cable that you connect to your laptop. I’m having a ball learning this and I have the added benefit of learning alongside my 12 year old son who really wants to use it. Once I learn a bit more about it, I’ll be picking some powered speakers and a carrying case. I’m pretty excited to finally have a hobby that I enjoy while learning.
There is so much I can say about this mixer but to be honest, you really need to go out and get one so you can see for yourself. I highly recommend this mixer for amateurs and pros alike.

Another nice case from Speck

I have owned several cases from Speck over the years and I have grown to really like them. This particular case adds their new ClickLock system of accessories. The case is made of a hard plastic, but has some decent flexibility to it. It looks like it’s silicon, but it doesn’t have the same grip texture. The grip is good as long as your hands are dry and although it adds a layer of thickness to protect the phone, it is not so bulky as to have an issue putting it into and pulling it out of your pants pocket. The buttons line up perfectly with the phone and the MagSafe connection works extremely well with it. The cutout for the charger is oversized which makes it great for using different types of USB-C charging cables. There are cutouts for the speaker ports as well. Everything lines up perfectly, which speaks to their quality control.
This case is designed to be used with their ClickLok line of accessories. There are currently three accessories that work with it. A MagSafe wallet, stand and car vent mount and they are all reasonably priced. I plan on getting the wallet case to try out with this case and I may pick up the Presidio2 Pro case as well as I generally prefer black cases, but that is personal preference.
All in all, this is another quality product from Speck and I would recommend it.

Works great and easy to install

Any time I upgrade my phones I always look for two accessories first. A case and a screen protector. Back in the day the sticker type protectors were the only way to go, but I'm glad that they have the glass option now.
I am one of those people who never carries their phone "naked" for lack of a better word. A screen protector is a must have for me and this one is actually has a pretty good bang for its buck. I have never tried one of Insignia's glass screen protectors before, but I'm glad that I ordered this one. There are other, more expensive options out there, but this one is well worth it by comparison.
The box came with two screen protectors and two sets of cleaning and application wipes. I really appreciate having the application tray as well. Without that, I'm convinced I would have installed this in some way that it wouldnt be aligned correctly and it would have irritated me to no end. The screen isnt thick, but yet thick enough to provide adequate protection to the screen. This is definitely worth picking up if you use screen protectors.

Good quality, solid case

Each time I upgrade my phone, the arduous task of finding the right case begins. I prefer something slim with good grip and something complimentary to my phone’s color. Since I am not one who chooses to carry my phone without a case, this can be a talk task to find something that fits what I’m looking for.
I normally look at some of the more popular and expensive brands, but I decided to give this one a try since it looked like a quality case. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed with this case and am actually pleasantly surprised. The OEM cases that the vendor sells are typically pricey and really isn’t all that better than something I can find at a corner store. This case is at least equal to, if not better than the OEM cases that the manufacturer sells. It has terrific grip, aligns perfectly with the buttons, especially the new Action button on my iPhone and doesnt have that chalky feel that I typically get with silicone type cases. The raised bumper helps protect the screen in case it’s dropped and the MagSafe connection is extremely strong. I have no complaints at all about this case and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a hard shell case with good grip.

Nice addition to my smarthome setup

This is the second Yale smart lock that I own and this is a welcome addition to my smarthome setup. My house seems like grand central station on most days with two sons who play sports and my in-laws who live with us. I dreaded having to give out keys to each of them because undoubtedly, I would be changing locks more frequently than I would like. When I got the Nest Yale Lock, i was able to give them an access code, give them access to my Yale Lock app or open the doors remotely myself with the WiFi setup.
This lock is similar in setting up. If you have ever installed a deadbolt, this is pretty similar with a few extra steps to get it connected to Wifi. Setup was simple and took me about 30-40 minutes from start to finish. Since all over of my exterior doors already have smart locks on them, I decided to install this one on my "Christmas" room/workout room. I dont like my keys using the workout equipment unsupervised and this is also the room where we store Christmas gifts, I thought it would be a good location for it. Only my wife and I have access so there was no need to give anyone else access, particularly since I can open it remotely if necessary. It also works with my Apple Watch which is a nice bonus to have multiple options to unlock the door.
So far, everything works great. Once I setup multiple fingerprints for myself and my wife, I tried it and it worked quickly. The pass codes work well and having a backup key is a nice added feature. I really like the look of the lock as well. Its modern looking and stylish. This is a feature rich device from a company that puts out great products. I doubt you will be unhappy with this smart lock.

Great fit and finish and easy installation

Whenever I upgrade my phone, the firs two things I look for are a case and a screen protector. I know the iPhone has some high tech Gorilla Glass that is supposed to be extremely resistant to scratches, but when I pay $1,000+ for a device, I try to protect it as much as possible.
Zagg has been around for a long time and is my usual go to for screen protectors. They are durable, long lasting and their warranty is unmatched. If you register your screen protector through their website and have to file a claim, they will mail you out a replacement, no questions asked. You will have to send back your old screen protector, but since it's defective, that is a non-issue to me.
The thing I like most about this one in particular is the blue light filtering design. It helps protect your eyes from stress and it doesnt change the color of your screen. I also like the installation guide that comes with it. When I first got these and had to install them, you practically had to be in a body suit so no lint would get on the screen and gloves so you didnt get fingerprints on them. This one comes with an alignment tray and the screen protector itself has two sets of holes on the top and bottom that are used to align the screen to your phone. It really couldnt be easier. Kudos to ZAGG for this setup.
Great product so far and I highly recommend it.

Perfect workhorse for a home office/small business

This is the second Brother color laser printer that I have and this one is better than my HL-L3270CDW series printer. This one is a true All-in-One and is great for mobile device users as well. This one adds the Refresh Subscription option which I use with other brands that I own. The subscription service has a bunch of different plan options to fit your needs. If you print anywhere from 25 to 1,500 pages per month, there is a plan for you. I signed up for the moderate plan that includes 200 pages per month which costs $20/month for color printing and allows you to roll over up to 400 unused pages for up to two months. The ink will be mailed to you automatically which helps avoid having to go to the store for ink. The plan also extends the warranty up to an additional year if I remember correctly, as long as you are enrolled in the service.
The app is where this really shines. I work from home a couple of days per week and use both a laptop and a tablet for working. With the app, you can print and scan documents using the app. You can also check the ink status and update your Refresh Subscription service. When you scan a document you can save it directly to your mobile device. Within the app, you can select paper size, color/mono, double sided and even which pages to print. This app is fully functionable and an awesome addition to a great printer.
You can also use a thumb drive and print directly from that as well. I have a thumb drive that is USB-C on one end and USB-A on the other. It works with my tablet and laptop and you can select the folder and file directly from the color touchscreen on the printer. I found the printing to be very fast and clean with no smearing or wet ink after its done. This works great for work and our home based small business as well.
I cant really say enough about this machine and I would definitely recommend it.

Strong case, excellent Magsafe connection

Whenever I upgrade my phone, the struggle for me is to find a case that fits my personal needs. I prefer a thinner case, with Magsafe connection, good grip and protection against drops. This case fits most of those requirements.
The case itself is very durable and seems like it would provide excellent drop protection, but I'll admit I'm not willing to test that assumption. I'm not interested in dropping a $1,000 phone to find out. I guess if it happens, then I will know. For a case as thin as this it definitely feels more durable than it looks. The Magsafe connection is extremely strong and connects well to all of my Magsafe accessories.
The reason I gave this four instead of five stars is the grip. The grip on the sides is very good, but the back is pretty slippery. I was expecting a little more grip on the back of it so that is a bit disappointing, but I still really like the case. My iPhone 15 Pro is the natural titanium finish and I think this case compliments it very well. Other than the grip texture on the back, I really have no major complaints about this case and I would recommend it.

Overall a nice unit, floor scrubber is just ok

With three boys running around my house, my carpet pretty much looks like a battlefield. Between football, soccer, basketball and them spilling every concoction known to man on the floors, a carpet cleaner is a must in my house until we replace the carpet with hardwood floors. I own or have owned at least three carpet cleaners from different brands and this one is probably the best of the bunch.
Assembly was pretty simple and it took about 5 minutes once I looked at the pictures. I like that everything can be attached to the cleaner and I dont have to store any of the components somewhere and then have to go search for it when I need to use it. I'm pretty sure I have missing parts from the other units in some inocuous place in the house.
This comes with two cleaning head attachments. One is for heavy duty cleaning (pet tool) and the other is for things like carpet and stairs. That is in addition to the brush roller that is built into the cleaner. The brush roll works well enough, but not great. It will get out some surface dirt, but not the ground in stuff. I used both the pet brush and the other brush head and they were both amazing at getting up heavy duty stains. I cleaned my steps and did some spot cleaning in my living room and basement and I was more than happy with the results.
My only complaints about this cleaner would be the brush roll could do a better job and the dirty water tank could be larger. I felt that I had to empty it too often, but since it did such a good job of cleaning, I wouldn’t make it a major negative. Overall, I really think this is a good cleaner and I would recommend it.

I had that problem too initially, but I took the phone out and re-installed the phone into the case paying careful attention to making sure that the volume/vibrate button was installed correctly in the slot. Once i did that, the mic must have lined up the way it was supposed to and I havent had any problems since. Hope that helps.
