I was excited to finally own a Dyson after seeing many commercials over the years touting how powerful the suction is. I must say they are correct that the suction and pick-up power is superb. I ran my other top brand vacuum through the living room and thought it did a good job picking up the dirt until I did a second pass with this Dyson Animal 3. Check out the photo to see what the other vacuum missed. However, there are some negatives that need to be pointed out and could be a dealbreaker for some prospective buyers. It is advertised as an easy-to-use vacuum thanks to the ‘ball’ feature when maneuvering around corners or anywhere you need to go. The part they don’t mention is how hard it is to push and turn when the suctioning power is vacuuming against a standard carpet. The suction is so strong that it makes it very difficult to push. I never had this issue with the many vacuums I have owned over the years. At times I even had to hold the handle with two hands and struggled to push it around the room. I can’t image my grandmother using this vacuum due to the strength needed to maneuver it around. For the price, it has a weak ‘plastic’ feel, which doesn’t seem to match the high-end suctioning ability and made me feel like I was going to crack the handle while trying to push it around. I am also not a fan of the placement of the ‘mode selection’ toggle. It should be in the handle instead of at the very base of the vacuum so it would be easier to switch on the fly between carpet and hard floor. With all of the above taken into consideration, you have to decide whether you want a Dyson for the ‘excellent cleaning ability but hard to maneuver’ or go with another brands ‘average but easy to maneuver’ vacuum. Personally, I have to go with the vacuum that cleans better than another I have owned before…..the Dyson Ball Animal 3.

Finally an alternative to the rubber tipped pods

These are the perfect low budget earbuds if you want to avoid paying 5 times as much for a similar product from ‘you know who’. I have always loved the plastic earbud style versus the rubber tipped headphones. I usually buy generic brand knockoffs online, but it is about time a reputable company is producing earbuds like these. They are very comfortable and the sound is great. The battery lasted all day and the included case will also charge the buds. With specified taps on the earpiece, you can answer calls, pause music, turn up and down the volume, and all the usual features found on most headphones. I would like to point out that they are not noise cancelling. Depending on your personal preference, this could either be good or bad. Personally, I like to hear a bit of my surroundings at my workplace. A few other notes worth mentioning- they are IPX4 rated for proof against sweat/rain and can be used In a single ear if you wish. Overall, a great buy and finally a better alternative to the rubber tipped in-ear headphones.

This is a great 2-in-1 toothbrush/water flosser. With both features built into one product, it is not only convenient but also space saving. There are two brush speed settings and a floss dial to gradually increase/decrease the water pressure depending on your comfort level. This comes in handy if you are brushing/flossing a sensitive area of your mouth. There is a short hose that connects the brush and base unit, which transfers the water to the floss feature. I do wish it was longer, but perhaps that would have affected the water pressure. If you only want to brush, the water hose easily disconnects so you don’t always have to be tethered. I feel the only drawback will be buying additional brush heads when they wear down. Since it has the floss feature, you have to be sure to buy replacements with that feature…and they are more costly then the normal brush heads. Overall, I do recommend this brush for anyone that is a daily flosser (which we all should be, according to my dentist!).

The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 is what it is: A clock with smarts. It has ‘OK Google’ built in so you can set timers, clock alarms, weather and all the same things as most Google devices. Personally, I use it to play music while cleaning up the bedroom. I have an older version of the Lenovo Smart Clock, but it lacks the 4 inch screen and interactive touches. This is a huge upgrade for me and I am very happy to have it on my nightstand. For anyone that likes to have Google and a clock at their bedside, you can’t go wrong with this. I recommend it to everyone.

I have been using eufy security cameras for quick some time and have always been totally satisfied with their quality and results. This is a step up from the other products I have because of the big bonus of added solar charging and operation. It has allowed me to place the camera at a higher position and out of reach of would-be thieves. Unlike the other units I own, I no longer have to climb a ladder to retrieve and recharge when the battery gets low. Just be sure to place it in an area that gets a good amount of sunlight during the day to keep it charged up throughout the night. From my experience, eufy has always made quality products that I am proud to have around my home for peace of mind.

I have been using these for a few days on the back of a 24 inch gaming monitor. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of these lights. I love how it can match colors with the games that I play. There are quite a few customizable options to tweak and adjust to your liking. For being a ‘starter kit’, you get a good amount of length from the 4 strips included. If you want to expand, it seems easy enough to plug in additional strips to spread out the lighting. Overall, I am happy to add these to my gaming setup as it adds an extra level of immersion and ambiance.

Wireless Spotlight standalone security cam

This is a great wireless standalone security/spotlight camera, but not without its flaws. For reference and comparison, I also have a eufycam2 system. If you aren’t familiar, that system has 2 cameras (no spotlights) that connect to a ‘homebase’ unit that stores the videos. This new Spotlight Cam does not need a homebase and is completely standalone and has its own storage built in. All you need to do is be sure you mount the camera within range of your Wi-Fi network. Setup is quick and easy through the app. You can view the saved footage or a live view from anywhere to always check in on your home while away. As mentioned, this camera has a spotlight ring around the camera. There are several settings within the app to alter the brightness of the light when a motion is triggered. However, whenever I tried to set it to the ultimate 100% brightness level, it always reverted back to about 75% for some unknown reason.
There are also 3 options for Night Vision:
‘B&W Night Vision’ that will turn on infrared LEDs without a spotlight to give you the traditional black and white night vision.
‘Color Night Vision’ that will turn on the spotlight and record in color when triggered by motion.
‘Turn off’ – turns of infrared and spotlight so you don’t get night vision or any spotlight features.
‘B&W Night Vision’ that will turn on infrared LEDs without a spotlight to give you the traditional black and white night vision.
‘Color Night Vision’ that will turn on the spotlight and record in color when triggered by motion.

The problem with the Night Vision setup arises when you want to see the ‘livestream’ view. I prefer to have the camera set to ‘Color Night Vision’ so I can get my recordings in color. However, in ‘livestream’ view, it is almost pitch black and you have to click the ‘light on’ button to illuminate the area. I would prefer the livestream viewing to be in ‘B&W Night Vision’ mode so I don’t alert anyone with the spotlight. I wish there was a setting to choose a separate Night Vision option depending on ‘livestream’ and ‘recording’ views. Perhaps this will be remedied in a software update.
Overall, with these small issues and nitpicks, I still think it is a great product for home security. A bonus is it links into the same eufy app as my other 2 cameras. I do recommend the Spotlight Cam Pro 2K.

This is an excellent mid-range UHD with many bells and whistles included in the lower price point. I have been using it for a few weeks and am pleasantly surprised by Hisense. I normally lean toward the better known brands such as LG and Samsung, but Hisense is in the mix. Android TV works great for me and the HDR quality is a welcome feature. I don’t have any complaints to mention. For anyone looking to get a large screen setup without shelling out a huge amount, then I recommend this TV. It has most of the features needed for your average viewer. Thanks, Hisense!

I am so happy with this upgraded version. Full disclosure: I have a very similar model from Oster. However, this new model has a rubberized knob and left/right buttons to make temperature and time selections. Needless to say, this is a no-brainer when compared to the other model that only had stainless steel knobs to control everything. I no longer have to worry about my greased-up fingers slipping on the knob and being frustrated trying to set the oven. This is not something most people think about when buying a toaster oven, but it is a huge nuisance. With the comparisons set aside, lets focus on how well this oven performs. I use it almost exclusively for the air fryer feature. Everything cooks evenly and comes out great. Of course, I do the usual toast feature and the convection baking from time to time. Everything I have tried cooks well and I no longer have complaints about Oster. Highly recommended for a multifunction countertop appliance.

I am an avid mask-wearer, even after getting vaccinated. Sometimes, I seem to be the only one in a store with a mask on. I had been using a basic cloth mask, but am glad I switched to the Airpop masks. They have so many more benefits versus the basic everyday mask. It filters out impurities and particles in both directions. I also really love the air cushion around my nose and mouth to make it so much easier to breath and am more understandable when speaking. I recommend these masks to everyone. Stay safe out there!

I have tile and carpet throughout home. Will it mop tile then switch to vacuum carpet? Or do I have to tell it what to do? .
It has two swappable canisters. One to dry vac the whole home. The other to mop only the hard floors. It will self-detect when to avoid carpets.

Can you stream the oculus quest on your tv? If yes, how?
Yes, you can use Chromecast. However, I have the Quest stream to my phone and then I have my phone streaming to my LG HDTV.

Does this come with a headset for the sound affects or do you have to buy it separately?
The sound comes from speakers built into the headset or you can plug in headphones also. The sound right out of the headset gives you virtual 360 sound, which is pretty cool.

How is this for watching regular video on youtube, Netflix, etc.?
It looks like you are a watching on a movie theater screen, but the quality is not 4K or anything near that. It is watchable though. Also YouTube VR videos are fun to watch.

This is a stand-alone VR. You do not need a PC, Xbox, PS4, etc to use it. It works all by itself.

How does this connect to the internet? Can I stream videos on it when I'm somewhere without a WiFi connection?
It connects through WIFI. You can't stream videos without an internet connection, unless the movie is already installed on the Quest.
