Very comfortable and great sound!

This headset is comfortable and has great sound. The microphone is very clear. The detail of the spatial representation of the sounds is amazing. This makes you much more effective in the games you play. Unfortunately there are very few Dolby Atmos titles currently available and I do not have any to try. When I do I will post an update.
I used the headset on an Xbox One X, Xbox One, PS4 and Windows 10 gaming laptop. It worked flawlessly on all devices. Very interesting considering it is labeled as an Xbox One device. Fortnite was the game of choice on the laptop. The sounds were slightly better than the same game on the PS4 and Xbox One X due to the great sound on the gaming laptop. Also, played Call of Duty WWII on the PS4 and Xbox One X. The gaming session was over 6 hours and there was no discomfort using the headset. It was very comfortable. You mute the microphone by tipping it up. I really like that feature.
The build is plastic. Although I have no immediate concerns as the build quality is very good. I do wonder how long it will last being plastic. Only time will tell. I would recommend this headset. Especially since you can use it on PS4, Windows 10, and Xbox One.

Easy to set up and use

Set up: The set up was very easy. See the picture for all of the items that come in the box. You even get a container of all in one cleaner to use. The cleaner had the carpet nozzle already attached. This was great as this was the one I needed to use. Undo one screw. Screw in the handle. Take off a bunch of protective plastic and I was ready to go. I did try changing the nozzle to the hard floor nozzle and this was easy as well.
Use: I opted to do the carpet deep clean. This requires 3 ounces of the cleaning solution per gallon. The clean water reservoir is one gallon. There were no markings on the container so I measured and made my own. I ended up using two containers for the area I wanted to clean. Tip – put the water in first and then the cleaning solution. If you do not, you will get lots of bubbles once you are getting close to the top of the reservoir and make a mess. Removing and filing the reservoir is easy. Just make sure you have a tall faucet to fill it with. Emptying the dirty water is very easy as well. Tip – water is heavy. The more often you empty the dirty water, the easier the unit is to maneuver. I really liked how the handle/wand pivots. This makes it easier to move it around. After applying the cleaning solution I went over it again with no solution. And after that I went over it one more time. You want as little cleaning solution left in your carpet as possible. If you do not empty the dirty water often enough there is a safety mechanism that disengages the suction. If you leave it attached you will hear it. As stated earlier it is much better to operate if you empty often. See the picture showing how much solution I still took out of the carpet after I was “done”. 4 hours later it was still damp. The next morning it was totally dry. I even tried to do a few stairs. Not an easy task but I got it done. Not recommended to try in general but I was determined. I mainly focused on an area my dog likes to get sick or any other bodily functions (rare occurrence thank goodness!). This is my main interest in this unit as clean-up is not fun. I bought the 32 ounce pet solution for this Rug Doctor for future use. It was only $13. I also focused on a high traffic area from the mudroom to the kitchen. The unit worked well and removed a lot of dirt as you can see by the pictures of the dirty water reservoir. Final cleanup of the two reservoirs was easy. Just rinse and you are good to go. It comes with a very long cord (instructions say to never use an extension cord). It wraps well on the pieces provided on the handle.
Conclusion: A very useful device that is very easy to put together and use. It is effective at cleaning carpet based on the amount of dirt (and dog hair) in the dirty water reservoir. I would recommend this product. I look forward (sort of) trying this on the next time the dog has an accident.

Exceeded my expectations

I have use OTA TV for over 5 years now. I have an existing older antenna in the attic. I receive 16 OTA channels in my area from transmission towers that are mostly about 20 miles away. One is 48 miles away. Most of the channels are within 7 degrees of true north. Some are 35 degrees off of true north. I am lucky that the transmission towers are located in a similar direction. The ANTOP antenna will be pointed at true north for the testing. I am checking signal strength, signal quality and symbol quality.
In the box you receive the outdoor mounting hardware, 40ft of coax cable, the antenna and a base to place it on a flat surface. You also receive the installation instructions and instructions to try 10 days of sling TV free. A nice added touch.
For my testing I am using 3 different locations. Location A is on a desk where the transmission tower signal needs to pass through a supporting wall. Location B is near a window with a clear line to the transmission towers. Location C is in the attic.
Location A: Desk. My expectations are low due to the interference from the wall. I was actually surprised that I could pull in a decent signal on 8 of the channels. Also, the signal strength for the towers off 0 degrees was better than expected. Overall a pretty good result.
Location B: Table by window. I expected much better results for this test based on using indoor antennas in the past. In this test, the antenna exceeded my expectations. Comparing to the attic antenna, the symbol quality was the same. For signal strength, 4 stations were worse with the worst deviation of 21%. 6 stations were better (big surprise!) with the best improvement of 13%. 6 stations were the same. The station that is 48 miles away had a 9% stronger signal. For signal quality the results were similar. 3 stations were worse with deviations from 26% to 46%. 6 stations were better with deviations from 10% to 39%. The station 48 miles away had a signal quality 39% better. 7 channels were the same.
Location C: I will test this at a later time and post the results. Based on the results of location B, I expect even more of an improvement.
Conclusion: This antenna works very well based on the tests I performed. As it is recommended to be installed outside, the results based on indoor use are very encouraging.

This is my first experience with a Chromebook. This Acer is small and light as it weighs 2.76 lbs. It comes with the Chromebook, sleeve, AC charger, pen and pen sleeve. The glass is Antimicrobial Gorilla Glass so it should be durable. I charged it immediately but it was almost fully charged already. When you start it up you will connect to a Wi-Fi source (it recognized my 2.5 ghz and 5 ghz immediately) and log in to your Google account (or create one). I even used the built in camera to take a picture for my account profile. This will allow you to use the Google Play Store as it is preinstalled. It was very easy to find the apps I wanted and install them. I installed the ones I wanted and was off and running. The Google equivalent of Office produces work fine. You can also download Word, Excel and others. One app I use is VLC to watch videos I record. I wanted to see how the Chromebook would handle video. I copied some files onto a USB and plugged the USB into the provided USB slot (there is 32GB of eMMC to store your files on the Chromebook). It was recognized and I played a one hour show. I like the way you can fold the screen over to create your own stand more or less. You can fold it over so it is like a tablet if you like. The picture was fine and the audio comes from speakers located in the bottom. So it sounds better folded over than sitting like a regular laptop. I also tried using headphones and the audio was very nice. Everything I tried worked flawlessly. The touchscreen was very responsive. The battery is rated at 10 hours. After using it for about two hours (mostly for video that is a battery hog) there was about 75% left. So depending on what you use it for, 10 hours may be realistic. It is very sturdy and appears durable. I also really liked the feel of the keyboard. I do prefer to have a backlit keyboard. Adding this feature would make it that much better. Overall I am happy with this unit and would recommend it to those looking for a Chromebook.

I purchased this for my wife. She mostly uses this for watching shows we record from OTA. The resolution is amazing! We tried casting to the TV with Chromecast and it was perfect! Not bad having a 60" monitor to use with your tablet. We also got the MHL to HDMI cord so you can connect the tablet directly to the TV. It worked perfectly. One important thing to note since I asked the question and received misinformation. The literature on the tablet indicated it takes SDHC microSD cards. It does not state anything about SDXC cards. I contacted Samsung and they told me it takes SDHC cards. I can verify it works perfectly with a Samsung Pro 64GB SDXC card as that is what we have in it. Just plugged it into the tab and it was recognized right away. Dropped some files on it and I was good to go.

For those of you that use Zone 2 on your receiver like I do, your choices are getting slim. For some reason the Zone 2 does not support digital signal in most receivers. Why I do not know. So this is a top of the line Samsung near the end of the analog output offering. If you are like me, it is a no brainer to buy this. Support for 3D and 4K keeps you future proof. 2 HDMI out if you receiver does not support 4K (like 99% of us). The Apps work well. I enjoy sitting in my backyard listening to Pandora on Zone 2. As for Blurays and DVDs, I think now all do a great job. Cannot comment on 3D or 4K as I do not have a TV to support this. Replaced an LG that had been a great Bluray but just started to go. Checked for analog options and the pickings are slim now. This is a 2013 model in case you did not know. I bought mine as an open box. You should check for the same options as $200+ seems a little high for this. It should be under $200 IMHO.

Does this set(QC45) need an adapter to connect with the TV screen on airplanes? Is it included? I saw an adapter when I looked at the QC35II, will it work with this model?
