Crisp and Clear So Far
on June 1, 2021

The HP - 24" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor (HDMI, VGA) in silver and black was first delivered on May 11th, but little did I realize that
the delivered monitor was really defective. There was a puncture mark on the outside of the delivery box, I do not know if that was
FedEx's or HP's fault, but I did not pay any heed to that and went ahead and put together and installed monitor #1. Well, the minute it
turned on I realized that it was defective because there was a huge scratch along the bottom in an east/west fashion with the picture pixels ruined along this mark.
I promptly reported this and was given a contact with HP out of Texas. We only communicated by email and no questions were ask, but I did send them pictures of the punctured box and what the screen looked like. So, I got the original monitor on May 11 and then got the replacement monitor last Friday, May 28th just before the long Memorial Day weekend. Therefore, I have not had much time to use the monitor. Also, I want people to know that even though the box had a small puncture the technical product inside was fatally damaged and I spent time putting it together and installing it in vain.
I find the aesthetics of this monitor very pleasing, it is sleek, slim, modern and will fit with any décor. I also like that the screen fills the
entire real estate, without the heavy plastic framing of monitors of the past. There is only silver edging along the bottom and the stand is
actually attached to the bottom middle backside of the screen.
Like I said, I just received monitor 2 as a replacement for the defective monitor 1 and have not watched a high definition movie or
programming on it, but it was immediately clear to my 62 year old eyes that I was looking at a very crisp and clear picture, not blurry in any way and it was nice on my old eyes.
There are 2 ways to hook this up to your computer-either by HDMI cable connected from the monitor to the computer or a VGA cable from the monitor to the computer, the age of your desktop will determine which cable you will need to use, the newer ones using HDMI cable that is provided by HP, the VGA is not even though they have instructions for it on the Quick Set Up Guide that comes in the box. Although this is a fairly easy process-connect power and connect to computer, for some reason my signal was not picked up.
I did call HP toll free number and of course was offshored to somewhere they do not know about Best Buy and the whole process about review upon receipt of product. At any rate, he told me to re-attach the old monitor and see if I could get the signal back and install the new monitor, which I did. So, I simultaneously had the old and the new attached until I was confident that the new would work.
I did discover that there is a 1 year warranty and that less than 120 days was still in place even though I just got it days ago. So, you need to call HP and see what they have your warranty period for based on the monitor's serial number. Praveen from some Asian area said that he would send me an email link to present proof of purchase for them to manually adjust the warranty period, but he lied and did not do it, even though we went over my email address explicitly. I will get ahold of my contact that re-sent me another monitor and ask her on how to do this and why it is so far off. Warranties may not seem that big of a deal, but they really are because it is your only protection to get something fixed at no cost during a period of time when the product should work unconditionally.
Okay, based on what I know right now, I find this to be a nice-looking, as well as, a monitor with a nice clean and crisp picture at a good
price, which is what it is all about. The picture can be adjusted in numerous ways, as seen in some of my pictures, based on your
preference and viewing conditions>
I am rating this 4 stars because I do not know how the future will unwind with this monitor and the fact that the warranty period per HP's records is so far off. In fact, I forgot to mention that while I just got this screen, it says that it was produced February 2021 so how could it possibly be that out of 365 days for the warranty they only have a little less than 3 months remaining, makes no sense to me, but I now need to put in time to fix this situation. Oh well!.

Small and So Much Fun

The Anker - Soundcore Mini 3 Pro Portable Bluetooth Speaker in black is so much fun. Although I am 62 and pretty much past spontaneous partying, this hand sized speaker is really great.
What is not to like. On a full charge this speaker will run for 15 hours, it is waterproof, vibrant with circulating colors to follow the beat of either the music playing or the voice sound of talk radio, and easily links to my devices when seeking Bluetooth signal. When I ordered this I first thought that I would Bluetooth tunes from my phone to this speaker and put it in the cup holder of my riding JD lawn tractor. And while that is still an option, However, I decided to use it in my shower and rock out to my favorite 70's disco and 80's music, the musical sounds from my teenage and early twenties.
This speaker is so affordable at $39.99, so easy to transport, so easy to use, and most importantly, so much fun, it is even able to be linked to more of the same speakers for a fabulous sound and light show.

Good for Personal Use and Business Office
on April 23, 2021

The HP- Office Jet Pro 8025e, Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer with 6 months of Instant Ink Included with HP+ in white was delivered well packed, see pictures of box and packed contents within the box. This low-profile, auto document feeder printer's measurements allows the user easy placement whether that is on the corner of a desk or in a bookshelf/bookcase. When unpacking the printer, be careful to follow the instructions that are mostly pictorial following along in a numerical series. Remember to get all the blue tape that holds down and protects various outside and inside printer parts.
Once you have loaded the ink cartridges and the paper in the cassette, go ahead and print a Printer Status Report that summarizes numerous diagnostic and status items. The next thing to de is load the HP Smart phone app, which I already had done with a prior HP purchase and installation. So I used the smart app on my phone and followed it meticulously to install the printer, however, I wanted to use this printer with one of my office desktop's and using the phone app did not fully install all the functions that I wanted to use. Since the printer is in a different room than the desktop that it is wirelessly connected to, I wanted to be able to use the LCD screen to scan to my computer, as well as, use the app within the HP program for this printer to initiate a scan from my desktop, too-be able to scan from the desktop computer or vice versa, to be able to scan from the printer to the computer.
In my case, I was having trouble getting the printer to scan to the computer from the LCD screen, it kept referencing to download the 123 HP app and download software. I then called the toll free number and the person that I worked with, sadly offshore but still competent,, asked permission to access my machine to see what was up. At first they just tried to update, but that failed so we had to uninstall and then re-install the software and the drivers for this printer. Once we did this, I was able to scan from the LCD screen, as well as, start the scan from my desktop using the app loaded on my smartphone and my computer.
The only function that I have not tried is the fax, but that is because I already am using a different fax machine that I really like. However, I confirmed with the tech guy that it I do want to use the fax function it needs to be more rings that the answering machine. So, in my case the answering machine picks up at 4 rings and the fax is currently set up to pick up at 5 rings. I have not turned on the fax yet, but have used all the other functions.
I have mentioned that I am a CPA by trade and have brought and installed this printer in my office to use. So, my practice is very heavy in tax and I started using this office jet printer to print some of my clients' returns and the ink quality is excellent-very crisp and bright, easy to read. However, I still believe that if you are going to print lots of pages, then the laser jet would still be the better choice than the ink jet because there are many more printable pages on a laser jet cartridge. This HP 8025e says that it has fast printing speeds up to 20 pages per minute in black ink and 10 pages per minute in color. I did not take out a stop watch to confirm that, but like I said above, the black print came out super crisp and clean and the color is fresh and distinct, and even so with the color print.
Lastly, I did sign up for the HP+ plan which will provide you with free ink for 6 months. Going forward, I did sign up for the HP+ plan. They say that the warranty will be extended from 1 year to 2 years, that I will receive free ink for 6 months, but in return for that you do need to set up an account and link a credit card to that account. It took about 7+ days to receive the ink, sent for free by USPS, providing me 700 pages of ink even though the account that I initially set up will be 100 pages of ink, I know that HP wanted us to comment on this, but I cannot since I just got the replacement ink a day or so ago and have not yet needed to install the new ink to see if this printing machine accurately and properly communicates to HP when I need additional ink. I do not know what the lead time is before HP, I guess automatically initiates another ink shipment and if that is accurate based on usage and shipping time. In fact, I plan to call HP and see what the process is and I will update this review once I get that information. So, the plan that I have initially set up to pay for is 100 pages per month at, I believe, a cost of $4.99 per month. However, I have not loaded the new cartridges yet since my initial ones are not out, although with printing tax returns the black cartridge is getting a good workout right now, but I cannot comment on how intuitive the printer is to contact HP when the cartridges are at a certain ink level and then trigger the ordering, mailing, and ultimate receipt of the new ink cartridges.
Oh, one last thing for you to be aware of, so when I had to call HP to get the program properly installed so that I could either scan from the machine or the LCD screen, I asked about the warranty period and the man that I was on the phone with, Iren, told me to send my proof that I did not receive around early or mid February. I told him that date was impossible because I did not even request that printer that early. He sent me an email for me to attach my proof that I had not received the machine until March 30, 2021, by scanning the FedEx delivery tracking history receipt.

So Far, So Good
on April 20, 2021
Posted by: KansasMeddlingMom
from Kansas
The Smooth Skin - Pure IPL Hair Removal System in black is a FDA approved, long-term proposition that is used to remove unwanted hair on either the face or the body. This machine can be used by both women or men, but requires a 12-week commitment, treating the specific areas every 7 days.
The Smooth Skin Pure system includes only 3 items: the handset, the base unit, and the power cable. So, the handset has a glass filter treatment window at the front of the unit that the light laser comes out of, with a skin tone sensor that the light and treatment feature emanate from; the activation and mode buttons are on top of this handset, too. It is important that the people who want to use this system have certain skin tones and those with darker skin tones plus light-colored hair like gray, white, blonde or red hair may be too fair. When you squarely place the sensor over the light window on your skin, the device will determine if your skin tone is safe for use and if it is not, it will prevent use. You will see a series of white lights activating on the hand set when it is squarely placed on the skin, thus allowing the unit to start
What is IPL? This method of hair removal uses a light and heat to essentially burn the unwanted hair at the root and therefore, must be performed weekly, for the 12 initial weeks, then with a maintenance program of about every few weeks. The program requires that you first shave the area that you want to treat. So, I am a 60+ year old woman and decided to treat my underarms, my legs, the tops of my forearms, stray facial hairs above the lip and any stray hairs along the chin, that we women unfortunately wind up with in later life.
I have religiously been doing the weekly treatment in all of these named areas. The manufacturer wanted us to review their product at 6 weeks, halfway into the regiment. I think that as far as my arms, underarms, and legs go it is has been very effective, thus far, however, I do not believe that those areas have had very heavy hair growth. I must state, though, that there is a learning curve as you weekly work on your particular area. If you hold the handset and have it squarely on your skin, pressing the activation button, you will be able to quickly go up and down the area with the multiple blinking red light that lets you know that you have successfully treated the hair growth in that area. So, when I am doing the middle of my leg where the bone runs, rather than hold the handset parallel to my leg, I will turn it perpendicular and take steps up the leg until I reach my knee because the handset that way makes better contact, squarely, in that area that way and thus allows the light treatment. You will smell some burning, but after the first time, I am used to treatment in these areas without discomfort, redness, etc. While you must do the treatments on clean skin, I apply a rich lotion to soothe that skin after the treatment.
So, you might be wondering how I feel about using this on my face? I mentioned earlier that there is are mode buttons on the top-gentle mode and speed mode. When neither of those modes are engaged, the power mode with the highest setting is on. Clearly, the face is the most sensitive and I initially used the gentle mode because it was more comfortable. After I got used to the heat and burn sensation, I just used it on the regular mode. You will definitely smell the burning when using it there and my facial skin afterwards, because it has just been heated up, is dried out and I use Aloe Vera gel to soothe and hydrate the area. I know that it is easier to do the chin areas then the area over the lip, which is the most sensitive. I have to turn the glass filter in different directions to get the contact that I need to activate the light treatment.
I do know that I am having very good success with the treatment of my extremities and underarms, but I feel that facial hair is tougher because getting the glass filter over the lips is more difficult and getting the hair roots is just tougher. However, I am encouraged enough to keep on going over the rest of the 12 week period and then do the maintenance. Therefore, I am guardedly positive about the process, but given that I am only half way through this process, I cannot fully commit to it yet.

Designed for a life with less cleaning, the DustMagnet 5210i air purifier catches 99% of airborne dust before it settles on floors and surfaces. Independently tested for performance as part of the AHAM Verifide Program for room air cleaners, for a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 154 cfm for smoke, 173 cfm for pollen, and 153 cfm for dust. Recommended for small to medium rooms like a guest bedroom, home office, or dining room, the 5210i completely filters room air about every 12 minutes (approx. 5x an hour at 238 ft) on the highest speed. Patent-pending DustMagnet technology powerfully attracts airborne dust particles like a magnet. Two air intake points and a unique airflow pattern create a vortex effect in the room to capture dust before it settles. A stream of negatively charged particles clusters airborne dust particles, making them easier to capture. Once inside, the particles stick to the positively charged pre-filters like a magnet. Equipped with HEPASilent™ filtration technology to kill germs and effectively trap 99.97% of airborne particles like allergens, dust, pollen, pet dander, viruses, and more down to 0.1 microns. Plus, activated carbon is integrated throughout the filters to absorb light household odors from cooking, smoke, and pets. Air purifier not tested against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). DustMagnet delivers more clean air using less energy and less noise. The 5210i quietly cleans the air with noise levels less than a whisper (29 dB) on low and less noise than a normal conversation (45 dB) on high – while using less energy than a light bulb (5-22 watts) on all speeds. Designed to blend into your home like a great looking piece of Scandinavian-style furniture, the dual-use design features a convenient top surface to double as a side table and air purifier. With a design worth showing off, there’s no need to hide your air purifier, place it prominently in the room where it will be most effective. DustMagnet is equipped with proactive features such as Auto mode, Welcome home, and a five-color air quality indicator light. Set to Auto mode and the air purifier will auto-increase fan speed when pollution levels creep up (when cooking, vacuuming, etc.) and returns to a lower speed when cleared. The Wi-Fi-enabled model can be controlled from almost anywhere with the Blueair app and voice-control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant-enabled devices. Includes one set of ComboFilters with a maximum of 1-year filter life and two permanent stainless-steel pre-filters. DustMagnet proactively monitors filter use and pollution levels in real-time to accurately determine when you need a filter change. At Blueair, our Swedish heritage inspires sustainability and quality at the heart of everything we do. All Blueair purifiers are AHAM Verifide for Clean Air Delivery Rate and room size, ENERGY STAR certified and tested by the California EPA Air Resources Board (CARB) for safe ozone emissions.

Working Very Quietly this Air Purifier
on March 30, 2021
Posted by: KansasMeddlingMom
from Kansas
I quickly and efficiently received the Blueair - DustMagnet 5210i machine made in Sweden that should cover 242 square feet with Smart HEPASilent Air Purifier in white. Although I have a traditional colonial style home and décor, I do feel that the Scandinavian-stylized design of this air purifier can blend in with any home's design.

My model, a larger one is available that will cover more square feet if needed, is about the size of a small end table and I did put a design piece on it which attests to the fact that this is a very quiet, no vibration piece of equipment. There was very little about putting the unit together. Basically, the first thing that I did was screw the (4) feet on and then had to install the (2) air filters into separate ports. All of that was easy peasy.

So, there is an app for your smartphone that although not highly review-rated, was easy for me to download and get going. It is through this that you connect your unit to your home's WIFI and get diagnostic readings that are taken on the air, inside and out, surrounding your home. This is a truly quite machine. My unit is set to auto since my interior air quality is rated excellent. This machine also acts as a safety check because the app will show you carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide levels plus PM 2.5 levels described as fine inhalable particles, with diameters that are generally 2.5 micrometers and smaller, and then PM 10 particles described inhalable particles, with diameters that are generally 10 micrometers and smaller..

In fact, I called the Blue Air customer service department and asked them, about 5-7 days after I set it up, how do I know that this is doing its job since it is so quiet and you do not really feel or sense that much air flow movement on the automatic setting. There are several air movement settings available, but like I said, I leave it on automatic to maintain the air quality in the area that I have assigned it to. The agent that I contacted advised me to do the "Swiffer test". That means that I put a Swiffer near the 2 opposite sides that air blows out of and you definitely see the Swiffer refill dusting pad attached to the handle.

The other item that I wanted to bring to your attention is that you must register your machine within 60 days of purchase to extend the regular 1 year warranty up to 5 yeas of coverage. Finally, I asked my husband if he thinks that this machine is truly a good dust magnet as it proclaims and he told me that he thinks it is doing a good job thus far, but mostly I like knowing that when I check the phone app that my interior air quality is rated Excellent and that makes me feel safer in my own home that we are breathing clean air quality that will not medically hurt us. .

Nice for the Price
on January 27, 2021
Posted by: KansasMeddlingMom

The Skullcandy - Crusher Evo Over-the-Ear Wireless Headphones in true black are very nice for the price. I must say that they are very, very comfortable over the ear with their padding, as well as easily adjustable on your head by sliding the top bar for either a tighter or looser fit.
No, they are not noise-cancelling, that would be a lot to ask for their cost, but they are easily adjustable across the cranium and down to cover the ears for your comfort. The adjusting buttons are easily found and that slide bar for the haptic bass adjustment ear pod can make these suckers jump on your ears and help you get into the groove of whatever music that you like to listen.to.
I know that many of you will use these to work out in, but I have 5 acres to mow and I think that they will be the go-to earphones for that activity. So, some interesting facts on the buttons: the volume up/down button is engaged with 1x tap, but that same button for track forward/ track back is a 3 second.tap instead, the button to answer/end phone calls tapping 1x is the same button to activate voice assistant, but in that case you tap 2x, the port to put in the USB device to charger can do rapid charge (10 minutes=3 hours). Hey, I even downloaded the TILE app and connected these headphones. There is a chiming on the headphones, but TILE immediately hits you up for a "Premium-get more" protection plan that costs either $29.99/yr. or $2.99/mo. I found this offensive, a money milker, but maybe somebody more inclined to lose these might be more vulnerable (less offended) than I am.

Handles Multi Cooking Tasks
on January 24, 2021
Posted by: KansasMeddlingMom
from Kansas
The GE - Calrod 6-Slice Toaster Oven with Convection bake in stainless steel is a really diverse cooking tool for the money. This toaster oven has a foot print of 18' east to west, 13' front to back, and 11' north to south. Although it is not stealth-like on the counter top, it does warrant the space because of the numerous functions this one machine is capable of doing. The oven already comes with a removable crumb tray, and some other accessories that include the cooking rack, baking tray, and holding rack which are well-packed in the box. The oven comes fully assembled and I particularly like that there are rubber feet which is a bonus built-in safety feature, no-slip or slid.
This oven has many modes of operation-toast, bake, broil, pizza, warm, and roast. The led display is large enough to easily see and from an operational standpoint-start, cancel, convection is intuitively controlled by the mode and cooking setting knobs. The oven comes with a very detailed owner's manual that not only explains the different buttons and knobs, but also explains how each knob operates and even the rack position, temperature, preheat or not, default setting, time rage, top or bottom heater, etc. that is used for each mode.
In my opinion, this is an easy to use oven that while plain in design, has the clean lines that will be okay in almost anyone's kitchen. . .

I Love This Bissell Cleaner
on January 6, 2021
Posted by: KansasMeddlingMom
from Kansas
I received the BISSELL® JetScrub™ Pet Lightweight Upright Carpet Cleaner, Series 2529, in sparkle silver and disco teal and it was easy peasy to put together and get into action. The contents in the box included the actual machine made up of the body and the handle, a rinse and storage tray with a cup, a carpet nozzle clean out tool, and a sample-size of Pet Pro OXY Urine eliminator solution. The machine that I received only had a carpet brush roll and nozzle, although Bissell also makes a hard wood floor brush roll & nozzle, too. So, that may be able to be bought as an additional accessory. So, my experience is limited to only carpet and it did very well, in fact.
This machine has some nice features such as the quick-release cord wrap which means that when you turn this hook from side to side the cord that is wrapped between the upper and lower cord wrap easily releases. Next, on the upper handle are 3 buttons for Smart Clean fingertip control- express clean, deep clean, and clean shot with the solution spray trigger on the underside of the handle.
This is a nice, streamline version of a much bigger Bissell that I bought years ago, however, I find it is so much easier to maneuver and operate and it sucks up the water and cleaning formula very efficiently in addition to scrubbing, cleaning, and removing the excess water and solution better. As previously mentioned, the clean shot is a press and hold button located on the upper handle and is used for specific stains so you would maneuver the machine to cover a select stain.
Additionally, there is a button on the body that either will allow you to extend or retract the handle. Why is this significant? It is significant because in order to use this machine on the treads of your steps, you would retract the handle and hold the machine by placing one hand on the carry handle located under the dirty water tank and one on the upper handle of the machine and hold the spray trigger, making 1 pass forward and then release the spray trigger and make 1 pass back.
Finally, I think this is a very good, carpet-scrubbing machine and it is lightweight and easy to maneuver while giving very good cleaning results. Oh, by the way, Bissell included a 50% off coupon, including free shipping, on a 1st order of Bissell Pet Pro Deep Cleaning Kit #B0092 which has 3 products Boost additive, Stain Pre Treat Sprayer, and a full size of the Pet Pro solution. My coupon is valid until July 31, 2021.Finally, well worth the money, in my opinion.

Really Enjoying My Samsung - Jet™ 70 Pet Cordless

I am really enjoying using my Samsung - Jet™ 70 Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum with Turbo Action Brush in Violet. This is a very lightweight, cordless vacuum that has fabulous suction power that appears cyclonic as the dirt is captured in the dustbin. The accessories that came with this unit are the pipe, the combination tool, the extension crevice tool, the battery and its wall mount with 2 screws and 2 anchors, the battery charger, a real user manual, the mini motorized tool, and the turbo action brush.
So, this comes with 1 battery that is clicked into the top handset and runs for about 40 minutes. The on/off button is right on the front of the handle and there are + and - signs on that button that either add or reduce motor power from mild to max. Obviously if the vacuum is run at the max for more minutes, the less minutes the battery will last. As you can see, the charging unit can be fixed to the wall with a screw, or it can be what they call a "desk charger", and in either case the charging unit is able to store 2 of the accessories that click on when correctly attached. The user can put these attachment sites up as the desk charger or down when attaching to the wall.
I really love the fact that the roller unit can be opened without much effort for cleaning, but beyond that it is great that this roller does not take human and pet hair and twine it around the roller bar. In fact, nothing was around the roller bar, so that disgusting and time consuming chore of cleaning your vacuum's roller bar is now a no go, yeah.

So what are the pros of this machine? This machine does have great suction power and does pick all up from the floor. The box describes the digital display is intuitive, which it is, because it is up front and very visual with easy + and - signs to either increase or decrease the power of the motor. Next, the battery is easy to slide into place and detach when you need to recharge it, which is quick in time to get the full charge as marked by 3 visible blue lights on the battery itself. I really love that the dust bin and its components are also easily detachable without sweat, but also completely submergible into water for cleaning without disrepair, how easy is that? Oh, I do want to say that I have used all the attachments and the suction and pick up poser in my estimation was not compromised at all. I really do love using that mini motor attachment in small and tight areas that need vacuuming like the floors of your car or the treads and risers of your staircase or other carpeted areas that might be in a window nook or platform.
So you ask what are the cons? Well, this unit with its attachments is pricey, but when you look at comparable manufacturer's units, the deal here is that the suction and power of the unit coupled with the fact that the roller on both the main and the mini attachment stay clean is a bonus in my book.

Love What This Big Boy Can Do

This Epson - Work Force® Pro WE-7840 Wireless Wide-format All-in-One Printer, in black, can practically do anything whether for strictly home use, or home business, or in office business needs. However, please keep in mind that this printer has a large footprint and you need a stable and sizable surface area on which to places it.
This a well-packaged printer and the contents of its box are the printer, that has many blue tapes applied to keep key areas stable during shipment in its huge box that all need to be removed during the installation process. Also provided inside the box are the 4 snap-in cassettes of color, the electric plug, a short and direct installation pamphlet in English and other languages. The installation is so easy and intuitive, but I also am including a link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P85XaWziHZo, to a You Tube video that also goes step-by-step through the installation.
I must say that this all in one-copy, scan, fax, and print can handle most anything that you might need to be done. It is instant on, so no waiting time to print, it has 2-250 sheet capacity paper trays plus a 50 sheet rear-feed third port. If you look at the paper tray photos that I have uploaded you will see a light blue rectangular plastic piece that once engaged allows you to increase the size of the tray to accommodate legal, 11x14, and wide body, what I call ledger-size, 11x17, paper. I am a CPA and do paperwork and I have always had to cut and paste because printing or copying these type of worksheets was previously not doable, but now it is. I am also a big fan and require that my printers have auto doc feeders, ADF's, to make my work more efficient and in this case you can stack up to 35 pages per the instructions. I love that I can use all 3 paper ports differently, if I so choose. Paper tray 1 for letter size, paper tray 2 for legal size, and the rear feeder for 11x17. You could also fill a tray with photo quality paper, envelopes or smaller billing statements, whatever your personal or business needs require. All 3 of these paper ports are totally adaptable
Now, if I were printing long tax returns I would still be using my laser printers for speed, but in all other areas this would be just fine. I did connect the printer to my Alexa to do some voice-activated printing.I set my printer up to be completely wireless and it needs to be hooked up to your network before setting up the Alexa feature. I initially Googled this, but wound up at the Epson website for the Setting Up the Epson Printer Skill for Amazon Alexa commands, https://epson.com/Support/wa00879a. It is important that you have previously set up an econnect account because after you enable the Alexa Epson skill Amazon links you back to signing into your econnect account. By the way, it is easiest to get to anything Alexa by typing into your browser alexa.amazon.com, I was trying to go into the website to get to the skills, but it was not working well that way, much easier to get to Alexa information this other way. i also downloaded the Epson Smart Panel app on my android smart phone
