Works Wonderfully and Very Cool

The Tineco Moda One Hair Dryer, while more expensive than those found at the box or discount stores, will be much more valuable to its users because, quite frankly, it styles your hair nicer and how much is that worth.
So, once you have made the decision to spend the money, this machine really does a nice job not leaving its users with dry, frizzy, unmanageable do's. I believe that is mostly because this hair dryer recognizes when the hair is wet vs dry and can adjust for it, in real time, not drying ones tresses beyond what needs to be done. In fact, the back of the dryer has 3 light colors that it will display-red where moisture is detected and airflow and heat change with the amount of moisture, blue- where no moisture is detected so the airflow is more gentle and the temperature is adjusted, and then no color if the dryer is out of range where it can detect moisture and stays in an energy-saving state.
I have used it only a couple of times since recently receiving it, but I am very happy and satisfied with my hair's outcome, so much smoother and fuller. The manufacturer does recommend to clean out the air inlet filter regularly in order to maintain its high standard of performance. It is simple to remove the cover by turning it counter clockwise, use a cloth to wipe it out, and then turn it clockwise to put the cover back on.
The Moda One comes with 3 magnetic air flow styling tips, 1 diffuser to allow for curls to be dried without blowing the curl out of your hair, and then 2 tips, one for more smooth hair application that produces softer and gentler air flow to smooth your hair, and the other one is a styling concentrator which directs precise airflow to a specific area, as demonstrated in a picture of the card, attached, using a round brush, while quickly drying the hair.
So, there is a Tineco app for both IPod and android smartphones that can be used to follow your hair drying. I have an Android phone so I went to the Google Play Store and downloaded it. I noticed that it had a 2.7 out of 5.0 user rating so I do not hold out much hope on this now. I downloaded the app, connected to my network, and that allowed my hair dryer to automatically be signed up for its warranty. The app did ask me to choose a mode, which I did auto, but I do not know why you would want to be pigeon-holed. What if you wash your dog and you want to use that function. At any rate, I need to either play around with that feature more, call the company for help, or uninstall the app, and re-install it to start again.
Bottom line, I really this hair dryer, it is ergonomic, stylish, and easy to use, but mostly it leave my hair nice.

Great Extra Cooking Outlet

The Bella Pro Series - 12.6-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer Pizza Oven Dehydrator - Stainless Steel machine in my opinion has earned 4 out of 5 stars because although it seems to perform a bunch of tasks, it does not toast. There are ovens of this type out there that can also toast and that allows the user to have only one appliance on the counter where real estate is at a premium and clutter not wanted.
Although the oven is listed at 12.6 quarts in size, its footprint is small and it can only cook whatever food is about 7-8 inches in diameter. I am self-employed and I am using this multi-function oven in my office that is outside the home to cook my lunch and even dinner on very long days when I do not want to use a microwave. In fact both the microwave and the oven are side by side on a shelf in my back room. The oven, for safety purposes, has a short, polarized cord so it needs to be near and used in an outlet that can accept polarized tips.
I have only had this oven for a little over a week, so.clearly, I have not had time to enjoy all the options that it has. However, I have used many of them and enjoy them and if you are in an office setting or a small apartment this is wonderful because it is a small appliance that allows you to perform multiple tasks. I did use the small owner's manual and can see that there are no hard and fast rules on times and temperatures. You see, even though it has preset times and temps based on the type of function, those are totally adjustable and there are several levels that the cooking shelf can be on so you would want less time and temp if you had the food that was cooking closer to the elements since it would need less. I did see an advisory point that said not to put the bacon on the top cooking level and too close to the element because that has more fat and could cause issues. The machine already comes with a solid drip pan for the bottom or whatever is your bottom cooking level, 2 perforated air crisper trays, a circular nonstick pizza pan, and rotisserie prongs and pincer. I have not yet had time to do a rotisserie item, but look forward to that. I often insert parchment paper on my cooking surfaces and did note that you can buy from Amazon 7 inch pre-cut circular pizza pan parchment papers in multiples of 100 or more.
Just a final and quick thought, this is a great primary oven, unless, you need more space in a conventional-sized oven, but this is a great auxiliary cooker for holidays and special occasions that require more oven space that can be pulled out for the event and then put away, if wanted.

I Really Like This CrockPot
on September 21, 2020
Posted by: KansasMeddlingMom
from Kansas
I most wholeheartedly recommend the Crock-Pot 8-Qt. Express Crock Programmable Slow Cooker and Pressure Cooker with Crisping Lid, Stainless Steel in Stainless Steel. There are 2 racks that allow the user to do comprehensive vertical cooking saving time and cleaning, truly making it one pot cleaning. Growing up with a mother who had a masters in home economic education, I was instructed to clean as I cook so that there would not be a huge mess at the end that no one would want to have to deal with.
So, I received this about 7 days ago and have tried to use this express pot with different cooking applications that are on the control panel. Unfortunately I have not done yogurt and some of the others at this time. However, from what I have done< I have full confidence that if it says that it can do that application, then it can. I first used the air fryer top and made store bought.steak fries and pigs in a blanket. I did not know if that element would well if the food was in the well of the pot so I used the tallest stand that would physically place the food closest to the underside of the air fryer top. (See attached pictures of the underside of the air fryer top and the outside of the top). When looking at the control panel, the air fryer top has a plug in on the right side of its top that when put into position automatically tells the crock pot that it is in air fryer mode and initially set up a 15 minute time. You then either allow that as the setting or press the plus sign for more time or the minus sign for less time. There is an Express Pot cookbook with some recipes and directions with suggested cooking times, so that is a good starting place, but I found that by trial and error you can determine what is best for your food selection cooking.
I then followed the recipe booklet and made macaroni and cheese using both the pressure cooker and then the air fryer lid. It was very cheesy and my adult son that came to visit the next day loved it, he even took home most of the leftovers because I made way too much for us.
I have made a pot roast under pressure and then used the slow cook overnight. My husband tasted that this morning ans said that this was the best pot roast he had tasted, it was extremely soft, but very moist and even though he has dental issues, he could easily chew and enjoy it. I also used the air fryer lid last night in cooking, from frozen, Aidall's frozen chicken meatballs and a separate piece of salmon, also right out of the freezer, together. I did arrange them on the rack that would allow the closest access of the lid to the food for cooking purposes. I cooked that in 2 separate 7-8 minute segments so that I could turn everything to the non-air fried side, for browning consistency, and also marinated the salmon with spices and other toppings.
I have had 2 other pressure cookers, combined with slow cookers, over the years and I can categorically say that I feel this is the best one yet. I like the nonstick-coated surface and it is very easy for this machine to achieve pressure, as long as you have the stopper on top pointed to non-escape position, and that you lock the lid in place, which is easy because there is literally an arrow showing where the lid placement must be..While this cooker does not have a clear glass lid that can be used for slow cook mode, etc. there is a chart with the lid on the instructions that directs you to use either the pressure lid or air fryer lid based on what control panel operation you choose to do. Really, the only negative is that the power cord is quite short so you must place the pot very near an outlet, that is my only criticism at this point.

Great for One Person Smoothies on the Go

The Oster MyBlend personal blender in gray is a very compact, lightweight, and easily transportable blender. So, as the pictures show, it comes with a plastic container that is BPA free and once you blend your drink with the lid that has the blades in it, you will then screw on the lid will pop up open and close port that also has a loop that can be be attached to a backpack, etc. Essentially, this is so easy to transport here, there, and anywhere.
At first, I did not know if you could use ice in your combo because the user manual does not state that ice is usable and the blades in the blender lid are not that big or tough looking. So, I went on the MyBlend website because no one answered my call to the toll free consumer use line-COVID was still being used as an excuse to which I say that in mid-September is ridiculous. Come on people, answer your phones.
At any rate, I looked at examples of what they were putting in the container to blend for the drinks and I did see ice cubes, but they were small square ones and they were also dispersed among the entire container, meaning they were not piled at one end or another but throughout the containers contents.
I have this in my office so I can make pick me up smoothies during the day. The cord is short so placement on a surface might be an issue if not fight near an electric receptacle. Another thing, for safety purposes, you need to line up the arrow and lock in the container before the machine will work with the press of the button. If it is not lined up just so, the blender engine will not engage.
I only got this about a week ago so I do not know the long term engine hardiness, but this is not an expensive piece of equipment so my expectations are not that high.

The Shark Vertex Powered Lift-Away is an ultra-powerful Shark upright, featuring DuoClean PowerFins. While the soft front roller pulls in particles, PowerFins deliver nonstop contact to pick up more in every pass (vs. original DuoClean). Plus, Powered Lift-Away lets you detach the pod to go under furniture with the motorized nozzle, or clean above the floor with a push of a button.

The Shark Vertex Duo Clean Power Fins Upright Vac is easily set up in minutes and I have attached a picture of the quick start guide that is printed on the top inside box top. I was very pleasantly surprised that the vacuum that I received from Shark is rose-gold colored and I find that great. So, the vacuum comes out of the box in several pieces and I had it out of the box, put together, and in use within 10 minutes top.
1. Although I have numerous cordless Shark Vacuums, this is a plug-in model and its cord is very long so as to accommodate the user for quite a while in an area. I have a large 3 story home so for me this is a necessity.
.2. My husband does clean our home and so, he has used it once since we got it a week ago. Interestingly enough, he must have enjoyed his experience with this model because he made a few comments about this new machine, totally unsolicited, which I find very positive. First, he likes where the cord is attached to, the left side on the body of the machine. Therefore, since it is placed in such a way, it does not require a hook to attach it behind while you are vacuuming. Additionally, all the controls such as the on/off and the mode-bare floor, carpeted floor, or area rug on carpet are all on the handle versus on the body of the lift away. This makes control of the machine so easy and accessible; the user does not have to hunt around, it is all right up front. Also, release of the handle so as to put on one of the 3 attachments that was sent with the machine is also right on top of the handle. This makes for one stop control in an easily accessed and seen area.
3. What I am very impressed with is that this machine has lots of suction and pulls dirt and unknow dirt out of the carpet, even though I last used a much older Shark model to vacuum. I really love that like it states, the bristles and rollers are really self-cleaning. Please look at the picture that I took of the bristles. I read that the machine breaks down pet hair, etc. and chops it up and then sucks the remaining debris into the dirt cannister for later disposal into the garbage can. That is a great feature because I have soft bristle Shark models that I have to detach the roller and literally use a scissor to cut off tightly wound human and pet hair and that is not only gross, but time consuming to first remove the roller, clean it, and then figure out how to put it back in and reassemble the compartment that it is housed in.
So, in conclusion I agree that this machine is very powerful with very good suction, light so it is easy to push and pull over your floors and sway left and right to easily cover floor space, and these "fins" do seem to keep the bristles attached to the floor surface better which then makes the dirt pick up more efficient. The dirt cannister is large so it need not have to be cleaned out constantly. However, there are 2 places that this cannister opens up-top and bottom. I only thought that there was a bottom release, and the dirt in the bottom part of the cannister easily released into the garbage can, but I noticed that there was a separate chamber up top in the cannister that stuff was not releasing from. I then discovered that there is also a release button on the top of the idrt cannister, too, and once I released that and turned the cannister upside down, that accumulated dirt easily released itself from the cannister.
Remmber to login on the Shark website and register your model since there is a 5 year limited warranty, and remember to clean the removable filter and wash it under a faucet, from time to time, as needed so that air flow can be achieved through it and maintain the integrity of the machine.

Pricey But So Worth It
on August 16, 2020

The Hyperice - Hypervolt Plus (Bluetooth) Percussion Massage Device in black is a very nice and powerful massaging machine. This high-end is aesthetically pleasing with a very sleek design, a nice matte black finish, and is made out of a very strong and ergonomic rubber.
You can tell this is well built just by how heavy it feels in your hand. So, the power button, with an on and off position, is on the bottom of the handle along with the charging port. On the back of the massaging head, by the vent, is the speed button, which has 3 options. The lights below that, on the bottom part of the vent, are the battery level which light up well that contrast with the matte black finish. As you can see in the picture titled, "Charging the Machine", there is a solid green lit area around the handle that lets you know that it is fully charged, as well as, the lights on that vent. In fact, the light will turn red, to the right of the battery level lights, when the machine needs to be recharged. In my case, the machine was fully charged because when I plugged it in the solid green light came on immediately.
The machine comes with 5 heads which you can change out and use for different areas of the body, as well as, the amount of concentration you require for the massage. So, I live on many acres and my work out involves a lot of maintenance of my yard and in the garden, including the lifting of heavy buckets of rocks and mulch. I used this massager on achy muscles and even used it on an injured toe and bottom pad of my right foot. I thought the toe my have been broken a while back and that I had a possible contracture, but I used the bullet looking attachment on the toe and the balloon attachment on the underside pad of my foot and it has felt wonderful after about 2 daily consecutive treatments. So, my point is that not only is this deep tissue massager recommended or initially produced for athletes to recover quicker from their workouts, it is marvelous, too, for older people that might either have had a trauma and a related injury or perhaps some sort of affects from arthritis that can use this for their well-being and health also.
We happen to have a full gym in our basement and to that end, my son, who is a lifter, also used this machine and he stated that this really helps him with his post workout muscle soreness, as well as, the delayed onset of muscle soreness that he get's the next day, especially on leg days. I feel that this massager will come in very handy for all sorts of people and whatever their issues might be which then makes the cost of this machine more attractive since it will provide a real service for a multitude of age groups.
The app downloads quick and is easily set up. The only problem that I had occurred in the registering of the product. When registering, their system required that I you show actual proof of purchase with either an actual picture of the serial number or file for proof of purchase, but seems to not allow pictures directly taken from the phone, why is this happening, is this a programming error to. Even though it gives you that option.
The machine'e Bluetooth easily connected to my phone and then the app recognizes what body part is being massaged and then it shows you routines that are available for that body part, however, it does not control the machine, it shows you how and what. This routine that is used is then recorded by the app.

When registering, name, address, and proof of ownership were required with an email acknowledging the registration sent. As it turns out, I wound up calling their customer service which since they are located in California is 9-5 PST, M-F. So I am central time and had to wait until 11 am to try to get someone. Bottom line, I tried calling various times of their day, but still had to leave a message because their answering machine does not let you stay on the line for very long and automatically either requires you to leave a message for a future callback or just hangs up on you. They did call back within a few hours and I mentioned that to the lady that called me that no matter what time of day that I called no one came on the line before the system truncated the call. She apologized and said that they were working from home due to COVID and would advise the powers that be about this. I inquired about 2 things, when they might have an android app available so that more of the population would be able to fully use this and she said that they were working on it and that it might be available by year end or into 2021. Second, I asked about the solid green light around the handle, that means fully charged versus a blinking green light which means charge. I never had the blinking light. She did tell me that the user should not let the battery go below the 2 green lights before starting recharging, do not let it fully and completely discharge its charge. Over all, the machine works excellently and I definitely would recommend it.

Simple But Good
on July 18, 2020
Posted by: KansasMeddlingMom
from Kansas
The HP - DeskJet 2755 Wireless All-In-One Instant Ink-Ready Inkjet printer in white is a very simple machine and affordable printer that has some very good features. Actually, when I saw it I immediately thought how easy it would be to transport this machine from room to room in one's home or take it on vacation if one was using an RV or take it on the road if one travelled to visit their customers and need to be able to print. This printer is very light in weight and has a small footprint when placed on a solid surface, measuring about 17" looking down from east to west, 12" from north to south, and 6" tall.
This does not come with a full blown owner's manual, to get more information one must go online to www.hp.com/go/DJ2755a . It does come with a "Get Started" half-page piece of paper, with pictures, that 1st, asks you to take off the blue tape holding parts in place for shipping and then plug it into the electric socket while turning it on, 2nd to download the HP Smart App which is essential for printer setup, and 3rd follow the app's instructions for set up. I already had the app for a previous set HP printer set up, but they do request that you have the most updated version of that app, by the way. By the way, set up was easy peasy and I do love that it resets its Wi-Fi when I moved it from one location to another, there is a dual bank Wi-Fi with reset and if that is not your condition this printer also has Wi-Fi direct where you can connect either your computer, your smartphone, or your tablet directly to the printer wirelessly.
So, I have now set this printer up with my Android Smartphone, my HP tablet/laptop, and my desktop, all using different operating systems from the android nougat to Windows 7 Professional to Windows 10. This is a print, scan, and copy printer and you can direct it to print and copy in either color or in black and white on the top of the machine or by the app.
I am a self-employed CPA and this is not the machine for an office setting where heavy use will occur and the need for speed in printing is vital. However, for so many people that literally live off their phones and get documents with no way to print them this is perfect. I will email clients things to read and/or sign and they have no way to print. Now with the cost of this machine and its ability to print and scan, there is no excurse anymore. While it is not a quick printing experience, it is dependable. Remember that HP has an ink buying program that you must set up within 7 days of setting up for operation starting at free for 15 pages with pricing escalating for more printing that is done. That is the only problem with printers these days, the cost of the ink gets to be more costly than the printer.
Overall, for the money, ease of set u

Nice for the Price
on June 25, 2020

The Skullcandy - Push Ultra In-Ear True Wireless Sport Headphones in black are pretty nice for the price. First, I really appreciate that the case that they charge is appears to be very secure because it is a hard surface coated with a sort or rubberized material. So this would lend itself to protect from moisture and liquid, however, I did not immerse it in water so I have no idea how that would go and I would not advise that. Also, while I did not take a hammer and pound on the case cover, I did take the heel of my hand and knock on the case without any injury to the inside contents. Side note, the initial charging in the case was quick and simple and then the case will continue to provide charging without being connected. Now I did not use it this long, but the box states that the earbuds will go 6 hours and the case will provide 34 hours of charging for a total of 40 hours. In fact, the box states that 10 minutes of charging in the case creates 2 hours of usable battery.
I can say that the Bluetooth ability of these buds is beautiful and was so easy peasy. One of the greatest features is that the user can use either bud solo. I have a 2 year old set of Sony wireless, noise canceling, stereo earbuds also in a charging case that the Bluetooth connection happens only through the left earbud and that earbud has stopped working. So, even though the right earbud is fine, I cannot use this set in any configuration at all, what a waste of money, a real bummer. This situation will not be the case here.
Second, the ear hooks are truly moldable around your ear and you can adjust them however you need to to make sure that they are secure and will go the distance with whatever you happen to be doing. However, these the earbud construction of these does not lend itself to different size rubber tips for a user's earhole size and it is basically a one size fits all push in
Third, they say that there is a 2 year warranty, great, versus the 1 year warranty on the fancy Sony ones that I mentioned above. That makes me very happy and there are full controls on each earbud so that is great too!. Obviously, I cannot predict what will happen as time marches on, but in my opinion, since they are issuing a 2 year warranty, the manufacturer must have confidence in their product and that it will make the grade and survive the test of time.

Very Cool, But Got Hot Rod Red and Not Vinyl Black

The Galanz - Retro 0.7 Cu. Ft. Microwave came in Hot Rod Red and not Vinyl Black and that is okay, it is also shiny like patent leather.. So, first aesthetical impressions-it is retro looking with dials vs. buttons or touchscreens, its shape is rounded versus squared off on the corners, has a small and compact profile at .7 cubic feet, thus taking up less real estate on your surface. Just a side note, I did read in the user manual that this microwave should have sufficient airflow around it for correct operation, almost 8 inches above and 2 inches on either side.
This is a 700 watt microwave so it may not be as powerful as what is traditionally the main kitchen microwave, but for basement kitchenettes, dorm rooms, master bedroom beverage centers, your small business lunchroom or office, etc. this is the perfect size and power and the price tag makes this very affordable.
Set up, including the time, was easy peasy. The time can b set up as either a 12 or 24, military, hour cycle. There are 6 presets-A-1, beverage, A-2, Potato, A-3, Reheat food based on weight, A-4, Frozen Dinners, A-5, Popcorn , and A-6, Pizza based on weight. So, there is also a weight adjustment on the dial to do that, too.
Overall, while this is a small, compact unit, I can say that it has many nice features that we see in a more expensive unit. Oh, the warranty period is one year

Fresh Air at a Cost

I promptly received my Molekule Air Mini from the manufacturer and it comes in a very well thought out and very sturdy box which let me know that this machine while compact, it is also well thought out. The shape and design, with attached handle for easy transportation and movement of machine from area to area, reminds me of the no frill design of another famous European-inspired company.
The good news is that this is not a complicated, but easy set-up right out of the box. The main thing is to figure out how to twist and separate the top from the bottom so as to take off the plastic wrap around the filter and then just place it within the interior confine of the air cleaning machine. There is an app and I downloaded it from the Google Play store since I have an android, Samsung, smartphone. The app did not have a very high rating, it does not do a lot, but you can control the speed of the machine from 1 to 5 on it, it recognizes your Wi-Fi network on it, you can change your password through it, it gives you a filter status on it, you can activate filter auto-refill through it, and it does have the serial number and details about your device. Once you download the app to your phone, you hold it close to the machine to let it sync up and that is really most of the work.
So, I received this a week ago today and have had it running non-stop in my master bedroom. The higher the speed the loader the sound, so if you use the higher settings that might be good for days when not sleeping, but I leave it at 2 during the nighttime and even at that this could be used as a white sound machine, too.
It is spring and things are blooming here in Kansas, so pollen is in the air. While I do not have allergies, my husband is affected and I believe that he is less affected since we have started using this. I can tell you that I feel a cool, freshness to the air. This machine is meant to handle about a maximum of 250 square feet and my master bedroom is probably 20' x 15' which is slighter greater than the recommended area to use it in. Additionally, I have a trey ceiling so a good part of the ceiling is at 11' or so.
I did call in and speak with a customer service person because Iwas not sure if the company had already registered me for the warranty before they shipped it. The good news is that even though we are in this COVID-19 pandemic, someone in the U.S., I believe, answered quickly, did the warranty registration with me and also answered my question on the benefit of auto-filling vs. buying 1 filter at a time. I was told that the life of these filters is about 6 months. If you decide to activate auto-fill you get 2 filters for $99 vs. 1 filter for $75. That is why I took a picture of my filter after 7 days to see how dirty it was, which it is not. Of course the filter is dark colored, but I could not see anything clinging to it either.
Even though this is the smallest and least expensive of the Molekule Air Purifiers, in final analysis, this machine has a MSRP of $399 and is the benefit worth the price. We are living in a time where getting the air clean is very important, perhaps life saving so we must each determine what our own cost/benefit limit is. I will say that it does its job well, is easily transportable, easy to set up and monitor and control through it app on your phone, and it appears easy to maintain. The reason that I deducted 1 star is because of the price.
