Beautiful Display

The Razer - BlackWidow V4 75% Wired Orange Switch Gaming keyboard in white is visually very pleasing. Our gaming computer was personally built by our son and the case that he purchased to house the internal computer parts is also white with a see-through case. So, this combination of case and keyboard go better together. However, the white of this keyboard is more of a matte white rather than gloss white. So, will that makes a difference in what color you will pick for your keyboard, trying to make all of your white components blend and look integrated together.
However, the Razer reputation is well-known among gaming products and I expected this keyboard to perform just like our originally purchased 75% keyboard from another well-known manufacturer that is in the same price category. What I do like about this keyboard is the RGB that is installed in its program. To compare and contrast, the keyboard that was originally ordered just lights up its colors, but this Razer software, involved in controlling the lighting, is somewhat confusing at first when using, but once you figure it out it is easy to control. The one thing I am not a fan of with this keyboard is that the keys do not respond as quickly as the one previously purchased. I feel that the Razer keys are just stuck so slightly more, and feel heavier than my first-bought keyboard.
Overall, I am giving this keyboard a 4 out of 5 stars due to the key reaction. Otherwise, this keyboard is perfect for anyone looking for a beginning gaming keyboard and for those of us who love to see all our gaming equipment light up and cycle through all the colors of the rainbow as we play into the night.

Just Wow!

The Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra wireless noise cancelling headphones in white are just wow! Where to begin? I just got them and couldn't wait, I had to immediately set them up.
One comment on the color, it isn't really white but rather a grayish version of white, if you can envision that. They come inside an accessory bag, in the same color, placed on the right side when opening that bag, and a pocket on the left side with your charging cable and plug in cable for times that you cannot use wireleslly.
Let's get to the good stuff. I downloaded the Bose app from the Google Store since I have an android phone. The setup was quick and seamless to my phone which is the device that I started with. However, they are made for Apple, but will work with android. You can even create yourcuser name for Bluetooth linking listed in the Bluetooth options and I have never seen that before.
Basically, all the controls are on the right side and R&L ears are clearly labeled. One cool thing these have is that rather than turn them off after each use, you can just take them off and they will go to sleep, saving battery, until the next engagement. By the way, the on/off button is also on the right ear and is the Bluetooth small button below the larger control button.Even the loudness is controlled with either a slide up or down slide on the right ear vs. a button.
So, these are really noise cancelling when you engage in the immersive sound option. You can either use the immersive feature in "still", and turning your head adjusts the direction of the sound, or you can engage "move," that allows you to change with movement.
My teenage years were in the 70s and playing disco in the immersive mode was glorious and wonderfully energetic-Donna Summers never sounded better. This one is a go.

Quick Charging You Can Count On

The Insignia™ - 4' USB-C to USB-C Charge-and-Sync Cable with braided jacket in white is a very useful and functional cable when needing to either charge or sync your device, whether it is your phone, laptop, etc. However, there are only so many things that one can expound on this type of item, but I am eager to give my impressions on it.
So, the white braided cable itself is aesthetically pleasing to whatever sex and age of the user. I immediately noticed the hardiness of the tips and that they make a firm connection to whatever the device is that you use this for and that over time, they would stay in tact and wear well. Also, the braiding material is also very good and its flexibility will also lend the cable to wear well over time. One thing I immediately noticed, unlike other cables that I have previously purchased, is the white rubber strap punched with 6 holes and a bump out to put in whichever hole the user might want to use to securely wrap the cord up during use or storage.
Keep in mind that this is an intermediate length cable, 4' long, and that will provide you many up close to mid stretch placement spans. Overall, it delivers consistent fast charging.

Looks Like a Piece of Art

This Lenovo - Yoga AIO 9i 31.5" All-In-One - Intel Core i9 - 16GB Memory + 512GB SSD in storm grey is literally in a class of its own..It arrived very well packaged and as soon as I saw it I understood why. This unit is so unique in design and manufacture, literally a work of art in its own right. I am a CPA and all most of my desktops are made up with the usual monitor and black box console, no matter their size. I even have an all-in-one by another well-known competitor that is utilitarian looking, too. However, the design of this Lenovo all-in-one took my breath away and the aesthetics are simply astounding. So, the contents of the box come with the all-in-on and a Lenovo wireless rechargeable keyboard and mouse, all that you need to get started and beyond. By the way, this is the first Lenovo computer that I have ever owned.
The 8 step buyer reading instructions are very specific on not only how to take the unit out of the box, but step by step on how to remove the wrapping and even carry it from place to place so as not to do any injury. I have given this unit a place of honor on my desk and I cannot help but to repeat myself that it is like a statue of art. The set up was easy peasy, which is important to me because I am not an IT person and do not have one on retainer either. There is a tutorial that takes you through the set up of this unit. The WiFi seamlessly identified my available networks and immediately connected as soon as I put in my password.
The 31.5" monitor is brilliant and beautiful to watch, easy on the eyes. The keyboard and mouse require you plugging the USB and at first I did not realize where that was in its box, dumb me. Lenovo has already installed its advantage program that monitors the unit. All of the ports are in the storm grey base and that base is more than sufficient to anchor the 31.5" base. This SSD is whisper quiet. I do wonder how easily repairable this unit might be because of access in the base to get to the working parts..Oddly, although the monitor has a wide wing span because of its size, the base does not take up much real estate on your desk or tabletop. I have had many programs open at once with multiple pages and there has been plenty of computing power without program interruption. I think this is a good investment.

Love the Ease of Styling My Hair

The Shark Smooth Style is fabulous. I am that person could get the style I want at the hairdresser, but I did not have the skills nor the dexterity to replicate it at home. To that end, I was intrigued with these type of units that were more than just a blow dryer or a curling iron. Many years ago, on one of those shopping channels, I saw a first saw a heated, paddle brush-like device that the user could heat up that came with heat resistant gloves because the unit got so hot that it would be impossible to otherwise use. The gloves were bulky when using and it was not the best experience.Over the years, there have been many iterations of these type of devices. Many of them would get stuck in your hair and present a big mess to get them detached, trying to unroll the barrel, and get it out without pain and loss of hair.
I truly love both the wet and dry style features. The first time that I used this styler, I used it on dry mode. I am 64 and my hair is thinning out, unfortunately. The dry mode only has one area on the barrel handle to turn to. Once you put it on that setting, a yellow light is engaged to let you know that the styler is turned on and heating up-you do not have a choice of temperature settings. Then, when the machine is ready to go, 420 degrees, that light turns green to let you know that you are good to go. This machine has a stay cool tip on the end of the barrel so that the user can then hold the barrel with both hands, whether the barrel is rolled up in place to create the wave or curl, or just pulling it through their hair. My hair never pulls or is trapped on the barrel-it easily releases without incident or pain. I love the ease with which that I can smooth and put fullness in my hairstyle.
I use this machine almost every day even though I do not wet and wash my hair daily. However, I have used it to dry my hair, too. The instructions say to use it on wet mode when your hair is about 70% dry. I do not know a percentage of when my hair is dry, but I let it sit and air dry for a while and brush through my hair so it has no tangles because the instructions want that done before use-do not depend on the bristles of the barrel to do that for you. So, on the wet mode, there are 3 possible air temperature settings to use-low, medium, and high. Just so you know, the combs are on in the wet hair mode and on in the wet hair mode.
I really do love styling with this machine. It does the job in minimum time without high end skill.

A Good Combination of Laser and Office Jet

The HP-LaserJet Pro MFP 4101 fdw all-in-one wireless printer is a real winner. Right out of the box, this compact laser jet printer offers its user the characteristics of true laser jet printing, necessary and required in a busy and productive office for fast printing times plus high quantity production, but also the characteristics of an all in one office jet machine that has an automatic doc feeder so the user can also easily scan and copy documents, plus fax, too. The contents inside the box are the printer, the toner cartridge, already loaded in its compartment, a USB cable, power cord, and a getting set up guide, a warranty guide, etc.
This machine is about 30 pounds and has a compact design so as to be low profile- about 16" wide, 12" deep, and 12" tall, thereby taking up less real estate on a desk or other cluttered work surface. I am a CPA by trade and my tax preparation software necessitates a laser jet printer that is quick and efficient. Many returns are easily over a hundred pages and I simultaneously run several printers so that I can be printing continuously for more efficient production. I have relied on HP LaserJet printers for well over 20 years in my business, and I can tell you that when a printer goes down it is a nightmare. I am amazed at how substantially the cost and the size of these current LaserJet and all-in-one LaserJet printers have gone down over the years. Now, with this model we have an option of an all-in-one.
You are first instructed to use the large, clear plastic bag that the machine is wrapped in to literally drag the printer out of its box. The user is then instructed to remove all the pieces of orange, plastic tape that the manufacturer has placed in key areas to secure those potentially movable parts that might open and be damaged during shipping, such as the paper tray, the flat top, and other areas. I then went thru the few set up requests on the LCD screen on the machine such as language, Wi-Fi password, etc., that part literally done in minutes and the Wi-Fi connect was seamless.
By the way, since I am using this in my office on a desktop, I went to HP’s website to download the appropriate software and drivers for this machine that then allows you to scan and fax, printing was already happening by what I did on the LCD screen. It took a little time to get it figured out, but I was successful in scanning using the software on the computer to direct the process, as well as, getting the scanning process to work from being initiated from the LCD screen-that was a little harder to get going. There is a toll free number to call HP for customer service in the USA/Canada.

Overall, what I really like is the 42 ppm speed, the readable size of the LCD touchscreen on the machine, the amount of pages allowed in the paper tray, and the good amount of pages that can be placed in the auto document feeder for scanning or copying functions or faxing. This specific printing machine has been linked to my HP smartphone app that allows wide latitude for functionality. I think this machine is well worth the price.

Dell Does It Again

The Dell XPS 13 in 13.4" FHD Laptop is a winner and Dell does it again. So, while i have older, larger, and heavier laptops, this is a great size to either carry around in your backpack, or tote, or even a larger lady's purse.
This unit is a SSB, solid state unit, that makes this unit so silent while using, thus making it so easy to use anywhere and everywhere, among other people or not. Use in yourhome office where flat real estate is at a premium or on the subway on the way to or from.the job or school. No noise from a fan and no heat while sitting on your "lap".
Setup on Dell machines is easy peasy. I am a 64 year old who while mostly tech comfortable, am certainly not an IT expert. So, for those of you in that category have confidence that this is something that you can do, even syncing your phone to the laptop forsharing items betwist and between.
I love the back-lit board and realize that since this is a smaller, user-friendly size that facilitates its portability, i can excuse the fact that there is not a separate 10 key, there is no logical way to include this, but any larger machines for those of us that would use a laptop fot business or data input reasons.
I reali,e thT this machine is more costly, but it is in the Dell XPS line and there is a price to pay. Be sure to make sure you sign up for the warranty because i believe that there is abenefit to doing so.

Maybe Too Many Features?

. ..The Citizen - CZ Smart 41mm Unisex Stainless Steel Casual Smart Watch in black is very stylish and aesthetically pleasing, a more upscale version of the well-known fitness and smartwatches that have been in circulation for many years. So, AI am a 64+ year woman who has a 6 inch wrist and this watch was listed as "unisex" which in my opinion is not really true. I see this as a better fit for a male, someone that can better accommodate a larger wrist and a thicker watch casing. In fact, when you download the Citizen app for your smartphone that is instrumental in the set up process of this watch, there is a video option on how to best fit a Citizen watch based on wrist size-requiring the measurement of your wrist and the thickness of the watch casing that will determine the sleekness of it on your wrist. The watch comes with way too many links if you are a woman with even a bigger wrist. The links are attached with pins so even though Citizen has a guide that might allow you to figure out how to remove links to make it fit your size wrist, they do recommend that you go to a jeweler and have it professionally sized. A standard-sized watch was sent to me and I had no say in its sizing, but when I went on Citizen's website, I found out that if you are ordering it from them directly, you can use their "complimentary" sizing so that it will come the appropriate size for you and therefore, save you the time and money from going to a jeweler. .

I am amazed at all the functions and features that this smartwatch will do, almost too many. The learning curve is massive and daunting for me and even though I am in my 60's, I am still working as a sole proprietor in a field that has many tech challenges that I must keep up with-so while I may not be the most tech savvy, I am not uninformed. Since there is such a learning curve, I do think that this watch does warrant an easily understandable instruction manual that is packaged with the watch and its special charger I was able, through the app,to go on the Citizen website and print off a bunch of questions that then have explanations on how to do this or that.
Like I said previously, this watch is very smart involving NASA technology and already has many apps downloaded. I also found this very attractive because of its numerous health monitoring features. The initial set up and syncing to my phone was easy. However, all the fancy stuff will take time to figure out. I allowed myself to pick a pattern for the security opening up of the watch and I need to figure out how to lengthen that interval because I am going crazy having to constantly do that-pick a pin instead. The best advice that I can give you is to take your time and learn how to fully operate this brain trust. By the way, this watch has a 2 year warranty, so keep your proof of purchase, but I read that if you go on their website and register the watch that you get an additional year of warranty-3 years.

Marshall Makes Beautiful Sound

The Marshall Acton III Bluetooth speaker in black is a great way to project the sound from either your computer, tablet, phone or any device that plays music, talk radio, etc- whatever you listen to from any device you can Bluetooth to or Aux hard wire to.
This Marshall model is a solid black box with gold dials and knobs, veey aesthetically pleasing with 60's vibes. The speaker is about 9 lbs and quite dense, no handle on top, so if you would like something to carry around with you this is not that speaker, more like one you would put on a shelf or put in a bookcase. In my case, I have an all in one monitor and computer in my kitchen area that i wanted to play music from. This Marshall speaker does the trick very nicely and effectively.
I really like the rich and robust sound known for by Marshall that comes from this speaker. There are 3 knobs, adjustable from 0 to 10, for volume, base and treble, easily accessible on top; you can personalize the sound to be whatever you want your sound to be.

High quality sound and comfortable, all-day listening in a wireless headphone. The WH-CH520 have an ultra-long battery life of up to 50 hours and a 3-minute quick charge gives you up to 1.5 hours of audio playback.

Another Sony Hit

The Sony WH-CH520 wireless headphones in black are comfortable, easy to operate, and easy to connect with Bluetooth. There definitely have a left and right ear, with the controls in the right one. It says that they are for iphones, but they also work perfectly well with android, I have a Samsung, and there was no problems with connectivity or sound.

There is nothing fancy in their appearance but like i stated above, the ear cups are very well padded and the bar on top of your head is adjustable, sliding in and out to accomodate for the size of the user's head. In my mind, these over the head speakers, although not noise cancelling would be great for mowing and yard work. The sound is totally immersive
Interestingly, I had downloaded for a prior Sony set of headphones, their Sony Headphone app. That app immediately sensed these Sony headphones and appeared, asked for an app update, and then proceeded to register and connect the headphones. By the way, this app allows the user to register 2 devices at the same time and be used simultaneously
So, these wireless headphones weighing in at 5.2 oz, can with a full charge be used for 50 hours, have a fast charging, 3 minutes for1.5 hours, do multi point, attaching to phones, tablets, and computers, have a sound equalizer, hands free phone calls, connect to Siri for iphone and Bixby for Samsung, a voice assist function.
Bottom line, the sound heard with the speakers on and engaged is immersive and enveloping. The app allows for the user to pick their sound option-regular sound or 360 reality audio that is associated with one of the pay for music subscriptions that you can obtain for"x" amount of tme for free. I think this is a good buy.
