The Epson Ecotank is a great printer that offers an alternative to the standard ink cartridge set up. And while this may seem like a great away to go there are some things to be aware of.
Out of the box you get everything you need to set up your printer. You are provided both 4 colors of ink which in all reality should last you easily 6 months to a year depending on how much printing you do. Installation of the ink is easy as the ink bottles utilize a one way valve to eliminate accidental spillage. The tanks are also keyed meaning that each color ink bottle will only poor in to its corresponding ink tank. This eliminates the possibility of mixing colors up. Set up is quick fast and easy and should be able to be accomplished automatically depending on your computers operating system. If not there is nothing to fear as Epson also provides a free app that allows all the same functions as your PC. Just like a standard printer, with this set up you can easily print, scan, and email documents. There is also a built in LCD screen on the printer which acts as a HUD allowing you to manually input functions as well as change printer settings and access firmware updates. Set up can be done wired or wirelessly and the printer does allow for Android/IOS printing as well.
Why buy this design over a conventional cartridge style? The overall design is too allow for two functions based on what i can see. First off they aim to create less waste by having to dispose of cartridges about every couple months which in turn will create a smaller carbon footprint. And second they are trying to do away with unnecessary ink charges by providing a tank that in all reality should easily get up to a year or more before needing a refill which in turn will save you a lot more money in the long run. Print quality is not sacrificed what so ever, in fact i personally was impressed with how vibrant the colors were. There was no ink run off and after a freshly printed page the ink is almost completely dry when it comes out. Overall on paper this unit looks like a good buy however i do feel there are a few things a consumer needs to be aware before making this purchase. Before i touch on this i want to let you know that i actually own the previous model to this Ecotank set up and i can personally tell you that after about a year and half of light use i have yet to refill the tanks. Which is a very positive thing to touch on, now with that being said there are some common issues that were ran in to that are only experienced after prolonged use and one that i hope Epson has remedy. On a standard cartridge set up, every time you replace the cartridge your not just replacing the ink but your also getting a new jet. This means that you get a fresh spray and clean lines with every new switch out. On the Epson Ecotank that is not the case here. Since your not replacing cartridges but rather simply refilling the ink tanks this means your using the same ink jets over and over again which will lower print quality. I have found one way to combat this but it requires regular maintenance. Now yes the printer does allow a function to clear the jets out and i cant stress how important it is to do this every month, but even with that said they are still prone to clogging. So much so in fact that you can actually google Epson Ecotank problems and that will come up as the number one most common problem. I have actually experienced this on my previous model where picture quality declined at the 8 month mark and at the 1 year mark my colored jets had clogged completely forcing me to only print in black ink. Removal of the jets for cleaning is not a difficult task but it does require some knowledge and know how and is not a five minute job. I bring this up because this a known problem that not many people know about. I only know this due to the passage of time on my previous printer. Now im not trying to discourage anyone from buying this printer as the print quality and overall marketing of this printer is a good one with good intentions. More importantly Epson may have fixed this issue on their newest flagship with the ET-3850. All im simply saying is this, time is going to be the real test on rather or not this printer can hold up and if Epson has remedy their past problems. Simply do some research and maybe wait a bit to insure all the kinks have been worked out with the jet issues they used to have. If that problem has been fixed then i would say yes, this is a great buy. For me im not sold on it yet until i know all the issues have been worked out or more importantly at least provided a easier way to remove and replace the jets so anyone can do it in under five minutes.

The De'longhi automatic espresso maker is a must have for the espresso or lover that lives the busy life. The automatic grinder and frother means that you don't have to sit there grinding and measuring your own beans which frees you up to do other more important things to get your day started. At a hefty price point this may not be for everyone but it does aim to give you every bit of penny you pay for it.
Out of the box your going to get everything you need to get started including a free bag of coffee beans which actually turns out to be be pretty darn good. If you have ever used a espresso maker or have ever owned one its pretty much the same as the rest. This unit will hold quite a bit of coffee beans and will also allow for ground coffee as well for all you decaf lovers out there. It has your standard removable water and milk tank as well as a waste bin for your coffee grounds. The milk tank is a decent size and can usually produce 3 to 4 cups of espresso depending on your size and recipe before needing to be refilled. The water tank on the other hand seems to need to be refilled after every 2 to 3 servings. The separate detachable waste bin insures that clean up is quick fast and done under a minute. And yes the unit does come with its own separate water filter insuring you get the purest tasting espresso possible. I won't go in too much to what you can make but just to name a few you can easily make espresso, cappuccino, latte, and flat whites. The unit allows for different users to be set up so this way your recipe or preference won't interfere with another household members preference. There are tons of different presets with the ability to also chose the strength of your espresso such as doubles. One thing i want to get out there for those of you that have never used a espresso with a built in grinder is the noise level. The grinder is very loud and is almost guaranteed to wake everyone in the house up. Hopefully you have some heavy sleepers if not you may want to hold off until everyone is awake. There is a built in Bluetooth feature that will allow you to connect directly to your phone which will allow you to activate your brew all from the comfort of your bed. The milk jug also has the ability to keep your milk cold via some sort of built in thermal, however i personally like my milk really cold so i usually remove the jug and store it in my fridge over night. However if you wish to utilize the Bluetooth feature rest assured that it does have the ability to keep your milk cold without having to store it in the fridge. The machine allows for pretty much full customization of your recipes such as milk ratios.
Here's the bottom line. This is a expensive set up and may not be up everyone's alley. Buy this unit if you have the counter space for it and don't have the time to grind all your own beans and mix your own milk. There are smaller units that will perform just as well but what sets this one apart is the multiple presets and more importantly the amount of customization available for your brews. With this unit you can actually craft your very own recipe and store it in your own preset. The Bluetooth feature is nice to have so that you can start your brew as you get ready for work. Overall if you can afford it this unit really is the best of the best for residential use.

The WD Black gaming hard drive feels and acts pretty similar to your standard hard drives that most of us are used to. What seems to set this unit apart in my opinion is its storage space and read/write speed. With SSDs housing more storage and faster speeds it almost feels like hard drives are for those of us who don't want to pay the higher prices that SSDs usually come in at, especially in this market right now.
Set up is just as you have seen in every other hard drive. One sata to the MB and the other to your PSU. This does feature a sata 6 to take full advantage of what WD is putting down. Noise of the hard drive was very low and in all reality couldn't be picked up over the performance settings of my fans. With this being geared towards gaming i decided to use it exactly for that. This served as a storage unit for all my Steam games and saved data. I was getting average read/write speeds of about 90 - 130 mb/s and at times would hit 140. Quick load times over my standard HD such as my Seagate. Obviously not as fast as my SSD however you need to compare apples to apples. Overall really there are only a few things i expect from my HDs. Is it loud? No, its rather quite. Does it actually have decent speed for a HD? Yes, in fact much more so over my previous HD. The bigger question that always troubles me is what is its longevity? After all you do have moving parts and moving parts are always susceptible to failure. In all reality time is going to be the real test for this category however after logging 30 hours of run time in a 1 week time span everything is still running smooth, as you or me would both hope. WD brings piece of mind in the fact that most of their products have been proven through the test of time so you can expect reliability. Over all there really is not much more when it comes to hard drives. As long as it works and your getting decent speeds, which you are with the black series, then the only thing left to do is get to the store and pick one up. This is a good buy compared to a standard HD.

Great all in one Gaming controller

Turtle Beach's Recon controller really is a all in one gaming controller that should fit just about everyone's needs perfectly. What makes the controller so nice is the fact that you have access to all control necessary for gaming all within fingers reach. The fact that this is a Xbox controller means it fits perfectly for console and PC gaming.
Out of the box its pretty basic, you get the controller and usb-c cable to run the controller. Keep in mind this is a wired controller and is not wireless at least as of writing this review. The controller is well designed fitting comfortably in hand with side cooling grips which act to keep your hands free from sweat while the ridges add for extra grip. The backside of the controller offers two additional paddles which can be used to map your other buttons for quick access. While the front of the controller houses your standard Xbox set up with your X,Y,B,A buttons Turtle beach took it a step further by implementing a volume/chat button, super hearing button, mic mute button, equalizer button and mode select button. One thing to keep in mind is the equalizer is pre-set to four different settings and can not be adjusted, at least not that i could find that is. On the bottom of the controller you will find your 3.5 mm jack which serves as your access port for your audio/chat headset. Once a headset is connected you can then adjust volume and chat controls all via your controller. The volume button will raise or lower in game audio while the chat button will allow you to raise and lower your chat audio allowing you to find that perfect balance between the two. The super hearing button is perfect for those of you in to competitive gaming such as COD, battle royales or other such games. Once activated the audio will change allowing more emphasis on your mids and highs which makes footsteps more distinct. Believe me when i say it is definitely easier to pick up on foot steps or engine noises allowing you to not only tell when someone is coming but also pick up on the direction and distance on which they are closing in on you. The mode button allows you to switch between four different pre set profiles which all change your audio, equalizer and aim settings. Speaking of aim modes Turtle beach implemented a feature called Pro Aim Focus mode. When activated the little crosshair icon will light up on the controller letting you know that pro aim is on. What this does is adjust the sensitivity level on the right joystick based on your play or shooting style. Profile 1 will set the stick to the lowest settings allowing snipers to get a more precise shot while profile 4 will max out your sensitivity allowing run and gunners to get the advantage on the quick draw. One thing i want to touch on that i may of passed up is audio and chat quality. One thing i was worried about with using the controller as a piggyback for your headset was loss of quality. Surprisingly audio quality was very good during my play throughs of cutscenes on solo RPGs. All my mids and lows hit crisp and clean allowing me to feel every bass drop as explosions went off. While playing FPS (first person shooters) i was able to pick up on every footstep and noise near me allowing me to get the upper hand on my enemies. Chat was clean and clear allowing myself to be heard easily as well as allowing my team mates to be heard with no drop outs. Obliviously keep in mind all of this is gonna vary depending on your headset.
Here's my take away from this headset. This is a very nice unit to have, especially at the price point that this unit is coming in at. What sucks is i personally own units that are double and triple the price of this controller and yet this controller performs just as good if not even slightly better in some areas. The controls are very precise and almost no lag exist. Audio is crisp and clear with not a single drop out or latency issue. My only real gripe with the controller (its a small gripe) is the fact that there appears to be no customizable options for this controller. Meaning the joystick tops can not be removed to allow for wider cushions for larger hands. Basically the whole unit appears to be modular making customizable parts almost impossible to achieve on this controller. But that is a minor complaint and one just simply worth noting. Overall if i had this controller before hand then i can promise you i definitely would of never have bought a more expensive controller as this one performs so beautifully. Do yourself a favor and stop looking around and pick yourself up one.

great headset for the price

The Logitech G335 wired headset is a great headset for those looking for simplicity without breaking the bank. While there are no key features that make it stand out that does not necessarily mean its a bad unit.
Out of the box your going to get the main unit already wired with a 3.5 mm audio cable and that's about it. With this being a wired unit this means that you can literally hook it up to any audio device such as ps4, xbox, pc, cell phone, etc. First initial impression of the unit was that it actually looked and felt a little flimsy which had me worried as to how comfortable it would actually be and how sound and chat quality would come out. So testing this product on PC was a breeze, simply hook the cable up to my audio jack and go. As of writing this review there are no apps to download and no software to connect to. This may be good or bad depending on how you view your headset needs. For me i like to have the ability to adjust my balance between in game sound and voice chat volume. Not having the ability to adjust this means you either have to make your adjustments in game or deal with it all coming in at the same level. Others may like the plug and play feature without having to mess with apps or software updates. As far as controls go there is only one control on the headset and that is for volume. The mic is a flip up design which is always a nice feature to have. When you wanna chat flip the mic down and chat is enabled and when you don't want to chat flip the mic up and chat is muted and the mic is out of the way. The earcups are a over the ear design and at first glanced i noticed they were not noticeably big. People with a larger frame may have a hard time getting them to seal perfectly around the ear however they fit just right over my medium sized head. The headset and earcups were actually alot more comfortable then i had thought they would be and after about 3 hours of gameplay i had forgotten that i still had them on. Audio and chat quality were average. Nothing to blow you away but nothing that's gonna make you want to put this headset away and never use it again. Voices came through with good quality and outgoing chat could be easily heard by my teammates with no distortion what so ever. In game sound had a pretty equal balance all across the band with bass lacking quite a bit. There was no noticeable 360 sound which meant it was hard for me to pick up on what direction people were coming from. With that being said however the fact that this is a wired unit meant i had good quality sound that was very stable and never once dropped out or became distorted. Overall quality is just what i expected it to be at this price point, however this unit was a slight cut above the rest in this category due to its comfort design and stable sound/chat quality.
So that's pretty much about it. This unit is just as basic as this review. But basic isn't a bad thing. Yes, there are no apps to download, no equalizer adjustment, no Bluetooth connectivity and only one control available on the unit itself. The reason why i feel this is a good buy is because of what you get for the price. At this price point i have seen units that don't fit right, are not comfortable to wear, and sound quality is horrific. Logitech did good putting out a budget headset that gives you all the basic features you need without sacrificing comfort or audio. At the end of the day if you are looking to get a decent headset without putting you in debt than this is the perfect way to go. There is only one real complaint i have about this headset that i feel you should be aware of and that is the lack of a detachable audio cable. The 3.5 mm audio cable is actually built in to the headset so if you have pets that like to chew on things or the cable gets damaged then the whole unit becomes useless as this part can not be removed. Just something to keep in mind before purchase of the unit. Other then that for a budget headset i think your going to be happy with this unit.

Chromebook for those on the go

The Acer 11" Chromebook is perfect for those on the go or those looking to supplement their over sized laptops for something more compact and light weight. What this tiny Chromebook may lack in power and memory it makes up for in its compact design and versatility.
So first impressions out of the box with this Acer Chromebook was it just felt and looked very cheap. At first glance this looked like something i would give my kids or something a adolescence would use. Looks aside this unit actually had me quite impressed. Keys are well placed for medium to small hands where as larger hands may struggle a little more. Charging is done via a usb-c power bank and full charge was achieved in less then a hour on a 15% battery life. If it is your first time using a Chromebook they can be a little overwhelming to understand however one of the first pages to prompt up was a guide to help you with navigating your new Chromebook. This Chromebook does have a built in HD webcam for Zoom meetings and i will say that Zoom picture quality was really good with no lag across a highspeed internet connection. My only gripe here is the lack of a privacy shutter on the webcam. There are two built in speakers on the underside of the Chromebook however don't expect to be blown away by the sound quality. Connection to the internet was fast and easy and in fact connection to everything was pretty easy. When connecting to my homes wireless printer i was worried about all the steps i was gonna have to take to set it up however the built in programs worked flawlessly handling all the hard work which resulted in a connection time of a minute or less. You can connect audio headsets either via Bluetooth or through the 3.5mm jack. If you are a android user you can also link your account to have everything populated from your phone directly on to your Chromebook.
Let's talk about where Acer is trying to go with this for a minute. This laptop is designed to be compact and fast allowing you to tote this inside any small travel bag or backpack. One feature that has it really stand out is its long battery life while in sleep mode. With the laptop closed the screen and everything with it goes in to sleep mode. The screen turns off and everything runs on low power keeping the unit cool and the battery long lasting. What's nice is the the minute you open the screen everything turns back on and resumes where you left off. There are no load or refresh times, its pretty much pick up where you last left off and go. This is perfect for those on the go. Need to write a essay for a project you have upcoming while taking a bus or train ride home? Not a problem, simply start writing and when you arrive at your destination there is no need to save anything, just simply close your laptop, stow it away, open it up when you get home and take off right where you last left off. When connected to a good high speed internet processing multiple task went alot faster than i had anticipated with this unit. As a matter of fact i was greatly surprised to see i could stream Spotify while writing a paper with multiple windows open surfing for information. The laptop did a very good job at dissipating heat and battery life in sleep mode lasted me more then 4 days, while in full use battery lasted me about 8 hours with medium settings to the brightness. Overall this a great piece to add if your looking for something small and light weight that wont weigh you down or break the bank.

Simple isn't always a bad thing

The Pure Zone air purifier is must for anyone with allergies and breathing problems. The provided hepa filter with UV lighting insures that not only pet dander and allergies get filtered but also virus's and bacteria as well.
This air purifier is probably one the most simplistic designs and sets up that i have seen. Out of the box you get the main unit and filter and that's about it. There were no instructions packed with the box but that's simply because you really don't need one. Once plugged in you really only have a few opotions as to what you can do. You have your on/off button with filter indicator light, fan speed button to switch between three speeds, UV-C button (which basically means rather or not you want the UV light running, and a sleep timer button which allows you to switch between three different time modes ( 2hr,4hr,8hr). This unit is designed realistically to be placed in a bedroom and not a large open space like a kitchen or living room. Main reason being is the size of the unit. It comes in about the size of a small plant or large book. So does the purifier actually do what its intended to? I truly believe it does. I say this due to the fact i noticed im getting much better sleep after placing this unit in my bedroom. Im waking up feeling less congested and more refreshed. I have two large dogs and there is pet hair everywhere. It's on the floor, the chair and the mattress. I feel like this caused me to wake up most mornings feeling like my nasal passage ways were so congested and irritated as a result of all the pet hair. Since using the purifier for the last week i can honestly say i feel like im getting a better nights sleep while waking up feeling i can breathe. The low fan speed noise means that i can run the unit all night long on the medium setting while not being kept up by the fan motor. And even at the highest setting the fan does get loud however it is never overwhelming and in fact Pure Zone does such a good job at damping the motor that the fan noise at high speed acts as perfect white noise.
Air purifiers are one of those things that's really gonna come down to personal perspective. Everyone's experience is going to differ but the ultimate goal is to have the same end result, which is cleaner air. We add filters to purify our drinking water so why not do the same for the air we breathe? For me i truly believe this unit has helped purifier my bedroom air resulting in a better nights sleep. The unit does a fantastic job at staying quiet as well as keeping the light low so that you can sleep at night. This unit is simplistic in the way of you simply picking a spot, plugging it in and forgetting it. There are no apps to download and no wi-fi to link it to which makes it perfect if you are one of those technology challenged people. In a busy world sometimes i don't have time or feel like linking it up to apps and wi-fi and then dial in all my settings and so on and so forth. The simplicity of this unit really had me impress as all i had to do was plug it in, turn it on and let the unit do the rest. For me i highly recommend this unit if you are looking to purify a small room such as bedroom or office.

On top of that they claim to be one the most versatile headsets out there, allowing you to take them on the go with the ability to connect to just about any media device you may own. The real question comes down to rather or not they can live up to some of the claims and quality that they have been known to produce. I hope this review serves you well in your buying decision.
First off i want to talk real briefly about first impression and what you can expect to receive out of the box. The headset packaging is done very well and gives off the illusion of a very high end headset. Out of the box you get the main headset, usb-c cable, mic, wireless usb plug, and 3.5mm cable. They also provide you with this very nice travel case which almost looks like microfiber suede. The packaging and travel case gave off such a good impression i was already expecting to be blown away by sound and design quality. Before we dive in to the likes and dislikes lets get the basics out of the way. Charging is done via the usb-c cable which allows the headset to be used while charging. A full charge took a little under a hour and yielded me about roughly 20 hours of run time all pending your settings of course. This headset does come with two available apps to help set up your settings. You can download Dolby Access which allows you to set up your headset for Dolby quality sound and gives you a real basic equalizer, however i personally do not recommend using this app as the app does not allow you to adjust your equalizer on the fly. Meaning every time you adjust your range settings you have to keep hitting apply in order to hear pitch change. This becomes annoying and was the main reason i ditched the app. The main program your going to want to use is Corsair's iCue software and yes you will need to make sure you have the latest update or the headset will not appear in your menu. Through the iCue software you can adjust your equalizer, mic settings, the rgb lighting on the side of the headset and you also have access to your wireless usb which at this time allows for no settings adjustment. One good thing i will say about the iCue software is the equalizer setting works really well and i was able to get all the adjustment necessary while being able to adjust on the fly. This headset offers slipstream connection which simply put means you can connect wirelessly with super fast speed and long distance. The distance part i can verify as being true as i was able to get about 60 feet away from my usb connection and still have connectivity. The speed part is a little questionable as i experienced multiple drop outs while being only 3 feet away from my wireless usb. In the course of a hour i experienced about six drop outs which lasted about three seconds each. This got annoying fast as it kept taking my attention away from the game. I eventually got annoyed and ran the 3.5 mm cable for better stability. With the ability to run multiple connections this means that you can connect to your pc through the wireless usb and to your phone via Bluetooth. What this does is allows you to be in a game chat and talk to your team while being able to stream music off of your phone and adjust both volumes and outputs separately. This is a nice feature as it allows you to listen to music while you game and gives your teammates some common curtesy as they don't have to listen to your music streaming in through your mic as background noise. That's about all i really want to talk about in the way of some the basic settings. Most info can easily be found under Best Buy's Spec tab. As of right now iCue settings for this headset is very basic but im sure that will all change with future updates.
Let's dive in to the real meat of this unit which is design and function. Let me start by saying i focused on testing this unit being a gaming headset and not a audio device for streaming music or movies, even though i did try it under those categories as well. Let's talk design. The unit appears to be very robust and comfortable, and by some aspects it kind of is. In fact this headset is probably one of the most comfortable headsets i have ever owned. Rule of thumb i was always told when it comes to headsets is if you forget you have it on then its comfortable. This headset fits that category perfect however the earcup design and frame feel very flimsy and cheap. The cushions don't seem to create a good seal around the ears and frame feels and sounds hollow. The reason i say this is due to the fact that i got a lot of outside noise pollution getting in. I have three kids so my house can get loud and noise pollution is a really big key factor especially when you are in the middle of a match with other team mates. The weird part about this was that the noise didn't sound like it was bleeding through the earcups but rather it actually sounded like it was bleeding through the back of the frame in to the actual speakers. I could literally hear sound bleeding through the frame on the other side of the speakers which i have never experienced before in any headset i have every owned. Now this headset claims to pretty much have 360 sound which is supposed to give you the upper hand in battle as you can clearly pick up which sound footsteps or bullets are coming from. While this headset does do this, however it does a sub par job at it. Simply put, yes i can hear someone running up on me from the southeast side which is translated to the lower corner of my left ear piece however there is very little to no depth on the sound quality. The volume and quality stay the same all the way to the point to where the other person is actually up on my position. So thanks for telling me that i have a enemy coming in from the east but even bigger thanks for keeping the sound quality the same almost making it impossible to judge distance and time giving me very little advantage. Speaking of sound quality this was another area that fell flat or was rather just average. So let me start by saying do not buy this to listen to music or movies as the drivers in this headset struggle to push out the different ranges necessary to create proper immersion. Your high band frequency are great and give off ample sound as bullets wiz by you however the mids and lows are weak. I like to tweak my bass so that i can hear and feel the vibrations of tanks rolling by or big explosions from a payload kill however these drivers just could not keep up. With my bass setting set to three quarters of the way i still got lots of reverb and static distortion to the point where i had to make sure my setting were not maxed. I honestly thought i was going to blow my speakers out as the drivers pushed hard but struggled to keep up with the very little demand i was asking for. If you wish to try to imagine what im talking about think about cheap subs in a car that rattles everything and has so much static discharge that you can barely pick up the lyrics. Im not saying its that bad but that's about the best way i can describe it. Now mic quality is great. My teammates all came in good and everyone could hear me perfectly. Mic output and controls can all be done through the iCue software. As of writing this review i was not able to find any gate controls for the mic but im sure that will all be added later on.
Here's my final take away from this unit. At the end of the day you need to ask yourself what type of gaming you plan on doing with this unit If you plan on doing a lot of FPS competition gaming such as COD, Battlefield, Apex and other such games then yes this headset is going to be a great fit. I say this because chat audio was so crisp and clean that it honestly sounded like i had my buddies in the room with me. Probably one of the cleanest sounded headsets in the way of chat quality. Now if your big in to immersion or mmo's such as WOW, FFXIV, Cyberpunk, Medium, or such games as those, then your gonna want to pass on this unit hard. Immersion is not this units strong suit as audio quality is not the same through the different ranges and frequency bands. The unit will not put out good quality bass, mid rifts are average and do not sound rich. Distance will be hard to judge in horror type games as your never going to truly know just how far away your threat is based off sound. The fact this headset has lots of bleed through and drop outs when used wirelessly means this will constantly break your immersion and pull you back in to reality. I would never consider this headset for a VR set up, EVER. And just to give you a little you a little insight, i am a huge Corsair fan. I have a corsair rapidfire keyboard, crystal series tower, vengeance ram, all my fans are corsair QL and my aio is a corsair as well. I really wanted to fall in love with this headset but owning a lot of Corsair products showed me just what they are capable of and im sorry to say this headset does not live up to what they can do. I also have 5 other wireless headsets that just flat out outperform this unit so its not like im testing this unit blindly. At the end of the day most people may not notice a audio quality issue, especially if you are new to gaming. But if you are a avid gamer or a audiophile then you will definitely notice a difference, especially if you ever owned a quality headset. Im not sure what this price point is going to come in at but if you can get it for a $100 or less then do it. Anything over a $100 i guarantee you can find a better sounding unit.

The Asus gaming monitor offers one the highest refresh rate monitors out there with some of the lowest input lag on the market. This makes for a almost near perfect gaming monitor for those in to competition gaming with fast pace action. This gaming monitor may not fit every ones needs so hopefully this review will help to breakdown rather or not this is the right set up for you.
First thing lets talk about the design of the monitor. The set up is very simplistic and yet very functionable. The monitor while mounted on the provided stand allows for height and tilt adjustment while giving you 180 degrees of rotation from side to side. The back of the stand allows access to feed the wires for ease of cable management so that you can keep your desk nice and clean. If the stand is not the way you wish to go there is provided access for a Vesa bracket to mount on your own dual monitor stand. The units power cable uses an external power brick which does add a little more hassle to the cable management side as the brick is kind of big and cumbersome. On the back side of the monitor you will find your standard power joystick button along with 4 other buttons which will provide you with access to your menu items. Through the menu interface you can find everything you need to set up your monitor to your liking including but not limited to, backlight settings, display settings, and overclock settings in order to get that 280hz refresh rate.
On to picture quality and performance. This monitor uses your standard IPS display, which is very ideal for competition gaming. Simply put IPS displays allow for awesome displays at just about any viewing angle. What this means is rather your looking far off the side or down on the monitor, all angles should appear crisp and clean with no blur. This means if you have friends over everyone can view the same picture quality regardless of their seating position. Now keep in mind while the IPS display offers great viewing angles it is a trade off when it comes to contrast and viewing quality. What this means is your not going to get the darkest blacks and some color will not appear to be as bright or vibrant as you might find on other monitors. That's not to say that picture quality is bad it just simply means that this would not be your ideal monitor in my opinion for viewing movies or vibrant solo games such as cyberpunk, horizon dawn and other such games. Most people may not notice a big picture quality difference but for being a avid mmo gamer i definitely noticed the contrast ratio difference between this monitor and my VA panel monitor. Keep in mind though IPS monitors such as this one offer better input lag ratio which makes them ideal for high action gaming such as Apex legends, COD, Fortnite and other such games. Now let's talk motion blur and performance. This monitor offers probably one of the highest refresh rates i think i've seen along with a 1ms response time paired with G-Sync means your going to experience almost no motion blur or tearing making it a ideal monitor for FPS (First Person Shooter). So for those that are barely getting in to gaming two things i usually focus on for fast paced gaming is refresh rate and input lag. Refresh rate is that amount of time it takes the monitor to load the next frame on to the monitor while input time is the time it takes from the second you hit your button till the time it actually hits the game. Low refresh rates and high input lag mean that as your opponent runs by you they are going to leave a motion blur or streaking and the long input lag means that even though you may be on target your shots will still miss as the time from the minute the trigger is pulled to the time it hits the game is increased. That's what makes this monitor king for FPS games as every little millisecond counts and makes the difference between you getting the last kill or you being the one shown on the kill cam getting merced.
Here's the bottom line. For FPS games i truly don't know if your going to be able to find a better gaming monitor out on the market. If you built your rig around Asus hardware then this will make a great addition to your set up. The low input lag and G-Sync compatibility to your NVidia card means you should have the upper hand in the way of performance. The overdrive setting that this monitor provides means that you can adjust your input lag to match your refresh setting for the best possible motion blur you can get. The overclock setting allows you to adjust your refresh rate to match your hardware and input settings. So should you buy this monitor? That comes down to personal preference and what type of gaming you plan on doing. If you are a avid FPS gamer who plays games such as COD, Battlefield or other such games, then this a no brainer as this monitor will give you access to a wide range of settings to suit your needs all while offering smooth rendering and picture quality without sacrificing performance. Now on the other end of the spectrum if you are the type of person that plays a lot of solo games that are high on resolution quality and immersion then you may want to look at other monitors as input lag is most likely not going to trump picture quality for you. For me this is my go to monitor for FPS games however when playing Horizon Dawn i prefer my VA monitor instead. Like i said at the end of the day its personal preference. Either route you go im almost positive this monitor will not disappoint.

Anker Life Dot 2 XR offers a budget friendly in the ear wireless ear bud that delivers pretty solid noise cancellation. Solid sound quality and a comfort fit design make this a viable option for those looking not to break the bank.
Out of the box you get everything you need to you going and one of the first things i noticed was the amount of different tips and covers they give you. The case is a nice solid hard plastic design and lining up the ear buds for case charging is easily done with no issues to pin alignment. You get a free app which allows for some customization of the audio quality and noise cancellation. Through the app you can set your ambient noise settings between 3 different options and within those options there are a couple of different modes to chose from. The app will also come with preset audio settings such as bass booster, acoustic, classical and so on. You also have the option to set your equalizer to the way you want rather than use the pre-sets. One nice feature i noticed off the bat was the fact that you can listen to each earbud individually, meaning you don't need them both in your ear to work, but you can also adjust each individual earbuds buttons to a function of your desire. The earbuds themselves offer roughly about 7 hours of runtime and 35 or so hours of additional time delivered through the case via the charging dock. I don't want to waste too much time on the app as there is really nothing stand out about it. Its your standard app that gives you battery life, a equalizer, button mapping, ANC options and so on. Basically everything your going to need to adjust it to your liking will be found in the app.
Let's focus on audio, ANC and battery life. After all these 3 things will either make or break the sale. First off audio quality was actually pretty solid. Given the price point that these units are coming in at, i was expecting to have feedback issues or Bluetooth connection issues. This was not the case at all. Never once did i notice any drop outs, especially when getting up to about 20 feet away from my phone. Audio quality was crisp and clean with the higher volumes coming in just fine with little to no reverb going on. Now bass was lacking a bit so keep in mind these are not that bass heavy however sound quality for Rock and Alternative music was great. This is not to say that Hip Hop or Rap sounded horrible, cause it most certainly did not, its just those type of Genres tend to be more bass heavy and although the bass is ok, it's not knock you off your seat good. As far as Rock music goes, vocals came in very crisp with all my mid rifts and high hats coming in balanced and clear. Now as far as the ANC or noise cancelling goes this was probably one of the most impressive parts. I tried these out at a automotive shop that i work at seeing as how the place is never quite. The earbuds did a great job at greatly reducing and muffling the larger noises like air tools and hammers. Vocals were almost completely none existent meaning i could not hear conversations going on around me. Phone calls were clear coming in as well as voice quality going out. Battery life was another nice feature i noticed here. Some of the cheaper headphones around this price point i have owned could barely make it through a 1 hour workout at the gym before needing to be recharged. With ANC turned on i was able to get about 3 separate 2 hour workouts in before the unit was crying out to be charged. And here's the nice thing, the case can hold about 35 hours of additional charge time with 5 minutes of charge time yielding 1 hour of run time, give or take your settings and volume. The comfort level was superb and with all the different fitments they offer you i never once felt like the earbuds were unstable or about to fall out. Another thing to mention about the comfort level is the fact that they do not enter too deep in the ear canal giving it a better comfort level for those that can't stand in the ear designs.
Here's my take away from this product. As far as earbuds go there really is nothing break through about this product. The app is pretty much similar to every other audio app on the market and there really is nothing new in the way of the ANC built in to the buds. What makes this a good buy is the fact that you get solid sound and ANC at a budget that does not break the bank. Not only that but the battery life this unit has to offer is some of the best i have seen. Is it the longest lasting battery life? Absolutely not, as other in the ear designs are boasting up to 15 hours of run time. But at 7 hours of runtime with a 35 hour piggy back charge time i have to honestly say it's a very solid contender. Overall i feel you will easily get what you pay for and then some.

How do the cameras attach to the house?
the outdoor cameras are attached via magnets to the base. The only item that requires 2 screws to mount is the base plate. Once the base plate is mounted then the cameras are attached and removed via magnets.

Do you have tonoay for monthly monitoring
you dont have to pay for a monthly subscription however keep in mind the free plan is very basic and i mean very basic. The free plan only allows for you to disarm and arm the system and allows the siren to go off if the alarm is triggered however they will not call the police and they will not allow for your video footage to be recorded. So it basically forces you in to a monthly plan but keep in mind there is no contract so you can cancel at any time.

does this camera system run on a 5g mhz speed wifi i have at&t fiber internet and my camera system that i have now BLINK only works off of 2.4 mhz speed .
Good question. On my Linksys it runs on the 2.4 band and as of right now there is no option on the Simplisafe app to move it over to the 5g band.

Can cameras be plugged into power while mounted to wall or do they have to be charged then put up. And pull down to charge when dead
So the wireless cameras can either be mounted wirelessly or hardwired in to a wall outlet. If you dont feel like charging the battery every month or so then you do have the option to wire them in as well. As far as charging goes the batteries are removable from the cameras so this way when it comes time to charge them you dont need to charge the whole camera unit just simply the battery pack.

What are the triggers like on this controller? Are they like normal Xbox controller triggers with a long pull or do they use any trigger stops for a shorter pull?
The triggers can not be adjusted as you would find on a Astro controller. As far as pull goes it feels very similar to a xbox trigger pull and has medium senisitivity. The pull is not short but does not feel long either. Most actions seem to activate after about pulling a 1/4 of a inch.

No you can not as the there are only two ports, a usb-c port for connection and a 3.5mm port for audio cable hook up.
