If you're a fan of Vomitory, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Malevolent Creation, Slayer and early 90s Napalm Death... well, you're gonna need this!!!! Production is top notch, riffs are catchy at a fast pace, then to moderate, then all out blistering speed! Good variety here! Another top album for me so far in 2017!
What can I say that hasn't been said? This is a Dying Fetus album, if you're a fan, I'm sure you'll find it's a step above the album before it. Much catchier and memorable. Definitely an album a DF fan needs in their collection!
Necrot offer a very raw and nasty excursion into the wasteland of death with this collection of their demos! Lo fi, downtuned and thrashy with some sludged out Doom sections. Recommended for fans of Autopsy, Necrowretch, Undergang. Their new album is out now and it's massive! Major improvement over these demos, but the demos are still quite enjoyable regardless! Get it Sickos!!!
A big improvement over the last album! This one will lay you out flat!!! Modern tight crisp production. Music in the vein of Sinister, Monstrosity, Seance... includes a killer Sinister cover tune as well... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Based on the book Mathilda, by British children's author Roald Dahl, this film moves the setting from the U.K. to the U.S.; otherwise it follows the original closely. Mathilda Wormwood (Mara Wilson) is an extremely curious and intelligent young girl who is very different from her low-brow, mainstream parents (Danny DeVito and real-life wife Rhea Perlman), who quite cruelly ignore her. As she grows older, she begins to discover that she has telekinetic powers. Not until a teacher shows her kindness for the first time does she realize that she can use those powers to do something about her sufferings and help her friends as well. Villains from the awful Miss Trunchbull (Pam Ferris), headmistress of her miserable school Crunchem Hall, to her parents and older brother begin to feel her ire. Look for Paul Reubens (aka Pee Wee Herman) in a small part as an FBI agent investigating Mathilda's shady father.
I rented this for my daughter a while back, she loved it so much I ended up buying a copy for her. While this is more or less a family comedy based in the supernatural the movie really expresses individuality and strength in overcoming the odds. As well as creativity and intelligence. Highly recommended family entertainment, guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
This multi-disc release collects every episode from Friday the 13th: The Series about two cousins who try to recover cursed items sold from their deceased uncle's store, before tragedy befalls the owners. Similar to the horror-film series in title only.
If you grew up watching this show in the 80s, or if you were already a seasoned veteran? Maybe new to the horror genre... this show has it all! Good to great stories and a dark overtone throughout! This is the type of TV show we're lacking nowadays! Zombies are great and all, but it'd be nice to get something unique and original such as this back on our screens! This boxset is a lot of fun! Recommended
First off... this is not a best of, so if you're unfamiliar with the band, best not to start here. This is a collection of singles and b sides, and it's great to have em all in a collection like this, with bonus tracks from the H*ll At Hammersmith ep. Most of if not all of this is on the remastered versions of their 1st 4 albums, I have the originals and I'm happy enough with just cranking the volume! ...but if you don't have any of their albums, you can get the remasters and skip this collection if you'd want. Stay Evil.
What can I say... it's Exciter!!! The remaster isn't much more than a little louder than before, but that's cool...the bonus tracks make it a worth while purchase regardless, and it's Exciter! ...so if you don't have this...Get It!!!
Well, here's a band that's always evolving, yet staying true to their sound! With this new release, there's no exception! A new member joins the ranks by the name of Alex Bouks on second guitar. He fits in very nicely with the band, as he has been a long time friend of Ross and Bob, and he certainly delivers up an extra helping of dark riffs and memorable hooks. The drum sound on this album is also a major improvement, as I know some were a little miffed about last album's overwhelming sound that bled out the guitars a bit, not that the drumming was poorly executed in any way! Atonement will certainly be in my Top 10 Metal Albums for 2017! Highly recommended.
If you're a fan of the Polish bands like Vader, Lost Soul, Decapitated, etc., as well as American Bands like Dying Fetus, Deeds Of Flesh and Suffocation... this album is essential for your collection! Technical, fast, heavy hooks...but most of all, it's catchy!!! Get This. Their new album came out last month and that's great too!
