I’ve had DeLonghi products in the past and not had any problems with them, thought I would give this combo maker a shot.
The brewer is mostly plastic with metal trim and the build seems solid. I have limited counter space and the smaller compact size of this brewer fits in nicely. It ships with what I believe is a standard sized charcoal water filter (same as I've seen in Cuisinart machines) that slides in a holder in the back of the machine. There is also a permanent “gold tone” coffee filter and a combo espresso measure scoop/tamper.
The instructions say to clean the unit by running numerous pots of water though the brewer and several containers of water though the espresso maker prior to using for the first time.
My first coffee was an espresso and the machine did a nice job. There was a nice crema on the espresso and the flavor was as expected. It did seem to take longer than expected for the unit to heat and it light went out fast than I thought it should. Also, the grind/filter basket only fits in the holder one way. Their should have been a locking feature to this rather than the swing up wire holder. Dumping hot grinds from this is messy and the filter ultimately falls out and/or makes a mess with the grinds, which retain quite a bit of moisture after the brew.
The frother worked but took a while. There is a steam button which makes the boiler hotter to make steam but this to cooled off quickly. There is no pump assist for the frother so the steam isn’t as strong as it could be.
To brew a regular pot of coffee you need to pull the drawer out to pour the water in and fill the coffee basket. Brewing a 10 cup pot of coffee took longer than expected however, the resulting coffee tasted decent and not burnt or over brewed. There is a button to press for 4 cups or less which makes a big difference in the taste of smaller pots.

Overall, this is just a so-so coffee machine. It attempted to be high end but misses the mark. It makes decent coffee, as it should, but I’m just not impressed with the whole package and believe it is overpriced for the experience it offers.
I would have a difficult time recommending this to a friend unless they could get it on sale for a deep discount, otherwise, I believe you would be better served with separate machines.

Nice cut but slow charge

This trimmer has a solid feel and is comfortable to hold. The motor is quiet and powerful enough to cut through my beard and hair without pulling. The guard is adjustable with the ring on the trimmer. The selection clicks are solid and sturdy. The guard pulls off the trimmer allowing close and detailed trimming. The head with the guard seems a bit wide and clunky but worked just fine. Cleaning up the unit is as simple as rinsing it off and letting it dry.
The only downside to this trimmer is the charging block/plug. It is a one-piece unit that the trimmer snaps into and then the whole unit plugs into the wall. This is one of those ideas that sounds great on paper and in discussion but in execution is horrible. It takes both hands to snap the trimmer into the block. Then it takes up the whole plug. This setup also prohibits using the trimmer while it's charging/dead. It does snap in solid enough that it would charge upside down if your wall plug allows it. It is also small enough that it will travel easily.
The instructions say it takes 15 hours to charge the trimmer, which in the age of quick charges is just excessive, especially when you have no other options. Additionally, this will only get you about 30 minutes of use, almost requiring it be kept on the charger, taking up valuable bathroom plug real estate. There is no indication on the trimmer of the level of charge and the red light on the charger glows anytime the unit is connected and plugged in so there is no way to know when it's fully charged.

I love the way this trims and cuts but hate the charger and it is for this reason, I would have a difficult time recommending this unit to a friend. Update the charger to give 70 minutes run time with a one hour charge like some others and this trimmer would be hard to beat.

Nothing spectacular but works

This is an accessory charging cradle for the Bose Revolve Soundlink that allows you to just set the speaker on it to power/charge it. I am not a big fan of micro USB cables so this works great for me. Plug the base in once and you’re done.
Make no mistake, this is not required for the speaker, you can plug a micro USB directly into the speaker, this just adds grab and go convenience.
The Bose revolve speaker has an AUX plug and had I created the charging base, I would have also incorporated the AUX plug into it, adding an extra bit of functionality, also making it easier to just grab and go rather than having to unplug an aux cable too.
Would have been nice if this were included with the speaker rather than being an additional accessory.
This charging base works as intended. I gave 3 stars because Bose could have made it more useful including the AUX connection and not sold it separately. For grab and go and not having to fiddle with the USB plug, i do recommend it.

Sounds like a Bose

When you open the box, you are greeted with sleek cylindrical shape of the speaker and the reality of the build quality. This speaker weighs almost two pounds and is built like a tank. The body of the speaker is one piece metal construction with a plastic base and rubberized buttons on the top.
There are six buttons on the top of the speaker; power, Bluetooth, Aux, volume up, volume down and a multi-purpose button.
The battery needed charged right out of the box but the speaker turned on after a few minutes of being connected to the charger. When you power it on the first time, you need to select the prompt language, then its ready to pair.
The Bose Revolve has NFC so pairing was as simple as tapping my android phone to the top of the speaker and pressing “yes” on my phone. It does not however have the NFC icon/symbol you would expect to see showing where to tap.
The most important issue, how does it sound? AMAZING! This little speaker kicks out some room-filling volume with a clarity and fullness that is definitely Bose. I was unsure how a seemingly one channel device would compare with a two-speaker stereo unit and I can honestly say it doesn’t matter. The sound coming from this little speaker is so immersive and full, stereo sound is a non-issue.
There is an app for this speaker, Bose Connect but its pretty lackluster, only offering volume and connectivity options, oh and you can use it to rename the device and select the voice language. I’m convinced the attitude at Bose is “we know how your music is supposed to sound” and you’re going to like it. I would have like to have seen the app allow some sound adjustment for the speaker, similar to the Sony app that lets you adjust the Extra Bass and add sound profiles.
The multi-purpose button is used to pause, select next track or go back, by pressing once, twice or three times in succession, similar to the button on iPod headphones.
There is a socket in the bottom of the speaker, I assume for mounting. The first thing that came to mind was a camera tripod; and it fit. This might be useful for a back-yard party, being able to mount the speaker at ear level.
When you turn the Revolve on, it announces the battery level and devices it is connected to. I was surprised to hear it say it was connected to two devices at the same time. It seems this is a feature of other “Soundlink” models as well, allowing you to link to two devices and switch between them. I gave it a try and it worked as described. With the first device playing, I pressed play on the 2nd device, nothing happened until I stopped the song on the first and immediately device 2 began playing. I can’t quite figure out the usefulness of this but I’m sure someone asked for it for good reason.
If you have the revolve connected to a phone, when you get a call it chirps, says “call from” and speaks the caller ID. Simply press the multi-purpose button and the Revolve becomes a speaker phone, and it sounds pretty great. When the call ends, it says “call disconnected” and the music begins again.
There is a wired AUX input to connect the speaker to non-Bluetooth sources which is then selected by pressing the AUX button on the top of the speaker. Unlike most other speakers, Bose did not include a 3.5mm aux cable. (Even my $14 generic model included one)
Battery life is very good. I’ve been playing this several hours a day for a week on a charge.

From the minute you open the box...

You know these headphones are going to be good.
The first thing you notice is the size of these headphones, they are large. When you open the box, you see the headphones lying flat. When you take them out and lift the first layer, you find the carrying bag which has a USB charging cord and a regular mini-plug cord so you can plug these in to any non-Bluetooth devices you have.
The headphones are made of plastic but feel rugged and well made. The adjustment sliders are smooth and feel like they were precision built.
The ear cups are butter soft and engulf your ears making a solid seal against my head, however, if you have unusually large ears, these might be uncomfortable.
They paired quickly with an old iPhone 4 I use just for music and podcasts but the Sony Headphone Connect app wouldn’t run as it requires IOS version 9 or higher. Also, I assume since the Bluetooth version on the phone is only 2.1, the volume rocker on the headphones does not work, the track forward and back does but the pause does not.
I was also able to pair them with my NFC enabled android phone just by tapping the phone to the NFC symbol on the left ear piece, which is also where the Bluetooth antenna is.
This is the 4th Bluetooth headset I’ve had and the Sony is the best at maintaining the signal and not dropping or cutting up the sound.
The instructions say it takes 7 hours for a full charge but you can get 3 hours of usage from a one hour charge. The headphones will not power on or connect while they are charging and the USB plug is for power only. You can listen to them with the included patch cord while they are charging.
When you power the headphones on, you are greeted with a polite voice that speaks what is happening, as she does when you turn the extra bass and noise cancelling on or off.
On to the sound. It would seem to me that one of the reasons you buy these headphones is “Extra Bass” and they absolutely deliver! I found that even without the Extra Bass turned on, most songs had a very good bass response and sound great. Turn on the Extra Bass and you get head shaking bass very similar to what you might hear driving down the road in the car that’s beating bass so loud you hear the windows rattle.
The sound is further configurable with the Sony Headphone connect app, which allows you to configure surround sound effects labeled Arena, Club, Outdoor Stage and Concert Hall. It also lets you adjust Clear Bass Electro Bass Booster which allows you to adjust the level of bass to your liking. The app also allows you to control the noise cancelation. The headphones remember the settings from the app even if you change devices or power them off and back on.
The noise cancellation works really well for low sounds like engine or motor noise and general background traffic noises. Also tunes out your significant other sitting next to you and talking. It works even if no music is playing. Unlike noise canceling headphones in the past, the music did not seem muffled when the cancelling was on.

The only downfall I have with these headphones, as with all on/over ear headphones is my ears get hot and sweaty. These are great for sitting back and enjoying your music. Not something I will wear in the hot summer sun.
Over all, these are the best headphones I’ve had so far and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great sounding music with head pounding bass.

Nice earbuds, high price

Connectivity was a bit spotty at times when my devices were in pants pockets or with my hands in a jacket pocket. (the directions do indicate they work best with your device in an arm band)
Sound was crisp and clean for Bluetooth; bass was present and better than some of my other ear buds but not as good as larger headphones.

The earbuds ship with a size 7 ear piece installed and include one larger and 3 smaller sizes. Replacing the ear pieces was an exercise in futility, having to stretch the silicone correctly over the units.
The earbuds fit well, twisting and locking into your ears, but I found myself constantly fidgeting with them since they seem to sit more on the ear than in it and the left side with the heart beat sensor feels different.
The pulse feature seems to work well once it finds it and if the left earbud doesn’t move much.
The connecting cord wraps around the back of the neck and has a clip to attach it to your shirt, however, this places the control buttons low and near the back of your head, which doesn’t matter if you like your play list without wanting to jump around. The microphone for phone calls is also on the control which makes it difficult to be heard/understood when talking on the phone.
The volume control actually controls the earbud volume and not the device volume and the volume is loud enough to tune out most other sounds.
The earbuds come with a silicone carrying case. For the price, it would have been nicer had it been a charging case rather than just a holder.
Overall, these are nice earbuds and I will continue to use them. I would recommend them to a friend if they went on sale or the price is lowered, otherwise, I believe there are better options at this price point.

The first thing you notice when you open this is the quality of the build. It is a small unit but feels solid. It has rubber feet that grip. The power cord is usb and comes with a small phone-like charger for power. This also means if you travel with one of those backup battery chargers, this unit works with that too.
Two sound machines, then a fan and now this. 10 fan sounds and 10 white noise sounds. The fan sounds are so realistic it’s easy to confuse with the real thing. My favorite is the oscillating fan which truly sounds like its moving back and forth.
The three buttons on the front of the unit are toggles. There is a power/timer, fan/white noise and the volume up/down. To set the timer, press the bottom of the power toggle for 60 minutes. Like coins in a parking meter, each additional press gives you 60 additional minutes. Each press of either the fan or white noise toggle cycles through each of the variations for each type. When you reach the beginning, it makes a whooping signal.
The most important thing about a sound machine is of course the sound and this little gem doesn’t disappoint. The volume range should cover most if not all needs and gets plenty loud enough. The part that impresses me is the fan sounds. You can hear the motor and the fan blade sounds.
The unit remembers your choices as long as it has power. It is also small enough to travel with however, when it loses power it resets to defaults for sound and volume. Also, when you first plug it in, it turns on but this is a user option which can be changed.
I definitely recommend this sound machine for anyone who sleeps with a partner that snores or in my case, uses a CPAP for sleep.

So easy a child could do it

This is one of the easiest routers to setup that I’ve ever used. Plug the first unit in to the wall and modem, download the app, snap a picture, choose a network name and password then surf.
For larger areas, adding additional access points to create a mesh network is just as easy using the app.
I have one unit placed on each floor of my town home and have an excellent signal and as fast or faster wireless throughput as I’ve ever had, including the front and back yards.
The Google Home Wi-Fi system is most likely the simplest networking product you can get. This also might be considered its biggest downside. Power users may have difficulty configuring their network as the only way to configure the router/s are through the app.
The router automatically chooses 2.4GHz or 5GHz and the only way to tell is through the app.

This is the 6th Vizio television I have purchased and will continue!
I purchased this set due to its size and the fact it is one of the few brands/models that offers the 24" size in a 1920x1080 resolution. This was purchased to use mainly as a computer monitor first and a television second. It has the added bonus to also be a smart set that includes Amazon Video.
The picture is vivid and clear and it handles computer input with RGB and HDMI and both work well and sync full screen.
The sound is good for a small set and would be adequate if used in a bedroom or dorm room.
The tuner works amazingly well with just a single pole antenna plugged in, pulling in and displaying the available channels in my area with no problem.

Can this stove be used on a deck?
Per the instructions, this should be placed on a non-flammable surface like concrete and not used on decks, either wood or composite wood. While this is a compact unit, it does get very hot.

No, the R40 does not have the ability to scan to a thumb or external drive.

These come with a USB charging cable but they only connect via Bluetooth or Aux cable.

Does this model produce a high-pitched noise like the older models? - curious if anyone has a point of reference on noise level.
The motor does have a unique sound but i don't feel its really high pitched and it doesn't bother my dogs.
