The initial answer is YES...this is worth the upgrade for those who have purchased previous Blu-Ray's of Dan O'Bannon's zombie classic. There is so much on this set including a rare work-print version of the film, a feature length documentary and so much more....not enough space to do it justice here. Suffice it to say Return of The Living Dead fans NEED this!

Another underrated sequel worth revisting

As good as Psycho II is, part 3 is just as fun. With Anthony Perkins directing and starring, it turned out better than it has any right to be. A solid script and fun acting turns (including a young Jeff Fahey) are celebrated in the numerous extras sprinkled onto Shout! Factory's sterling Blu-ray disc.

Underrated sequel that is worth another look

JAWS is as good as it gets but the sequel isn't really that bad at all. With most of the cast returning, the film focuses on the teenage kids and their bout with terror on a sunny day. While there isn't anything new here, the film is done with plenty of gusto and is never dull. Universal's new Blu-ray is a welcome addition to any fans home viewing library.

Alfred Hitchcocks PSYCHO is a masterpiece and frankly the sequel (directed by Richard Franklin) lives up to the master and then some. The Blu-ray from Shout! Factory has a wealth of interesting extras that are sure to please both die hard and casual fans alike. A film worth revisiting.

A movie with a group of people essentially locked in one location for the duration of the running time? Kinda sounds like his directorial debut Reservoir Dogs. With co-stars Michael Madsen and Tim Roth in the cast, The Hateful Eight certainly hearkens back to QT's salad days. This dialog heavy film is never boring and moves along nicely, thanks to committed performances and a clever script. Ennio Morricone contributes a wonderful score and the WIDE cinematography adds to the appeal. While the Blu-ray can't capture the theatrical experience, it does the best it can in a home environment.

...best Blu-ray set of the year! Yes the famous 1983 Spanish gore flick PIECES comes to life in this amazing set from Grindhouse Releasing. Packed with special features (including a sterling documentary on New York City's 42nd Street) and a wonderful new print, this film looks better than it has any right to be! Not only do you get 2 Blu-ray discs (including alternate audio tracks) but there is an audio compact disc with the complete score. If that isn't enough the booklet contains new comments by Gore Gazette legend Rick Sullivan along with a fabulous piece by the late, great Chas Balun. How any self respecting horror/exploitation fan can go without this disc in 2016 is beyond me...
