An intriguing story, great chemistry between Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt, and a number of interesting and somewhat unexpected twists and turns all combine to make viewing the movie a worthwhile, engaging experience. On the surface this appears to be just another action movie. Not so, as the lead character is richly portrayed by Ben A., in a role unlike anything I've seen before. Plus, you get the pleasure of the always-reliable Anna Kendrick, the ferocious Jon Bernthal and lots more. Brutal in spots, touching in others. A good, solid, well-rounded movie.

Is this Sony BDP-S3700 Blu-ray Player the 2016 model which replaces the Sony BDP-S3500 2015 model? If so, are there any differences between the two models?
Yes, this is the new, 2016 model replacing the BDP-S3500. As I did not own the prior model, I do not know what the differences are with the new model. What I do know is that the BD-S3700 I own has performed flawlessly since I began using it about a month ago (and I use it for an average of 190 hours a month). It loads very quickly, plays beautifully and the price is right.

What setting do you use for 7.1 sound?
Cannot get 7.1 working. I must be missing in the setup. Help
I had the same problem, which the manual doesn't address. Finally figured it out: in the audio setup mode, the unit defaults to "Stereo." To get either 7.1 or 5.1 sound, you need to change "Stereo" to "Surround." That should do it.
