Nice tablet for the price

The Acer Iconia One 8 (BT-850) is a nice little tablet. The 8” display has good color and resolution. However, I wish it had a lower brightness setting or “night time” theme for reading in the dark. It’s easy to customize display and widgets menus to put your favorite apps on the home page. Two swipes (or 2-finger swipe) from top brings up quick settings for brightness, WiFi, Bluetooth, Airplane mode, auto-rotate, location, and cast screen. This is handy for making quick changes to these settings without having to go to the setup menu. The B1-850 has Google voice search (a nice feature in my opinion). The build-in microphone does a decent job. The documentation states that you cannot use a headset with an external microphone, but my headset works fine for listening and speaking. Earphones are highly recommended if you want to get any audio out of the system. The built-in speaker (singular) is VERY humble. The unit will accept a SDXC card (up to 128GB) and the USB port is “On-The-Goe” enabled to permit connection of USB clients like a DAC (provided a software driver is available). The GPS works well outdoors, but would seem to be useless for navigation unless your car has WiFi.
A few complaints…
* There are no accessories on the Acer web site. I expected a cover at the very least. I wound up with a generic 8” tablet cover that works well enough, but don’t expect a local retailer to carry device-specific covers or screen protectors.
* I know this is an Android thing, but you cannot remove the preloaded apps. One app, InMobi (a mobile advertising app), keeps trying to connect to my location and Google Play account.
* The USB port is at the top of the tablet. This makes it cumbersome to charge the unit while in use.

Easy setup and good range

The RE7000 is very easy to install and one unit pumps WiFi to all the corners of my 2000 sq. ft. house. It operates on 2.4 and 5.0 GHz and has an Ethernet port that can be connected either to your router (i.e. as a wired range extender) or to a wired peripheral network device. The RE7000 is WPS-enabled and connected to my router effortlessly. This process needs to be done twice if your router is providing 2.4 and 5.0 GHz signals. The unit also provides feedback on whether it needs to be placed closer to the router. The RE7000 can be managed via a web browser and provides diagnostic, system, and network client information.

Fast wireless connectivity, flakey software

The EA9500 is a beast of a wireless router. Measured wireless speeds were over twice those of my previous unit at 8 different points in my home. The unit has one 2.4 GHz band, two 5.0 GHz bands, eight Ethernet ports, and two USB ports (one USB2 and one USB3). It easily services our four laptops, wireless printer, network disk, two mobile phones, and two tablets, even tucked away in a corner office.
The system was easy to set up. I tried setting up with both the setup wizard and manually. Both methods were straightforward. You can also set up a management account with Linksys and manage your router from anywhere. This is a handy feature for those with family members who are network-challenged.
There is actually an on-off switch that makes hard cycling easier than unplugging the power cord. Two buttons allow you, respectively, to easily enable and disable WiFi and connect WPS-enabled devices.
The only down-side that I have encountered is the router management software. It seamlessly handled all of my devices but two. We have two almost identical laptop computers with the same model name. They have different MAC and (reserved) IP addresses, different system names, and both connect to (and through) the router perfectly. However, these two systems frequently appear under the same icon on the network map. This made it difficult to set different parental controls for these computers. Linksys technical support was outstanding and worked diligently with me to troubleshoot the problem. Unfortunately, it appears to be an issue that will have to await a software (or firmware) update. You may not encounter the problem unless you have two VERY similar computers to connect.
Network map notwithstanding, there were no problems with the functionality and the performance of this router is amazing.

I purchased this adapter to use with SAL70300G. While it worked, the focus speed was slower than I needed. It would be fine in a studio setting, but not in situations where AF speed is critical. The LA-EA4 is a better overall choice.

This camera is a significant advance over the SLR and SLT cameras I have owned (film and digital). You will need very good lenses to keep up with the sensor resolution, but Sony has quite a few now (SEL2470Z and SEL90M28G are currently serving me well in that capacity). The multitude of focusing options take a while to master, but are well worth the effort. The high ISO performance is excellent! I routinely use 6400 with stunning results. The A7RII provides an adequate frame rate for stills (5 FPS in Speed-priority Continuous mode), but one cannot expect images of this size to transfer quite as quickly as with other Sony cameras (e.g. 12 FPS for A77). Sony has e-mount specifications freely available and there are mount adapters for almost any lens you can name. Some even allow the functioning of in-lens stabilization with Canon and Nikon lenses. The batteries are small (to match the size of the body) relative to SLR and SLT models so you may need 3 or more for an all-day outing. Be warned of three potential consequences of purchasing the A7RII: 1) you will pixel-peep, 2) you will get a serious case of lens lust, and 3) you will spend a more time with your camera (and have fun doing it).

Easy setup and good functionality

I bought this keyboard/mouse pair to replace a flaky Bluetooth combo on my work laptop. The mouse is a bit small for my large hand, but is OK for short-term/travel use. The keyboard is quite nice. I like the placement of the on/off switch. I had to turn my older keyboard over to turn it off. I don't have admin privilege on the company computer so I could not install the Logitech drivers to enable all the media buttons, but have all of the important functionality with the generic driver.

I had to return an older model that was damaged in shipment. This one is perfect as a shelf-top microwave. It has plenty of power. The interface is not conventional, but it is easy to use and has almost all of the features of its larger cousins. There is no temperature probe and no numeric key pad to enter time. Unless you need a larger size, there is no reason to look for anything else.
The only down side is the "tune" that it plays when starting and stopping. A simple tone would have sufficed.

Disclaimer: My home is in the middle of a remodel and I have not had the opportunity to test the unit on indoor carpet.
The unit was easy to assembly. There is a handy mesh bag for storing the tools and hose. This model does not come with a hard floor attachment. And, despite the fact that one is pictured in the User’s Manual, Bissell does not yet offer a hard floor attachment for this model. There are several hard floor attachments advertised on the Bissell web site, but none are compatible with this model (1986). This was a real disappointment for me since the first task I had planned for this unit was to clean “mud” and drywall dust from the hardwood floor in our partially remodeled den.
I have had a chance to test the unit on the floor mats and cargo area of my car. The ”deep stain tool” did a great job on both areas and the cleaning solution removed some stains that I thought were permanent. Moving slowly over the wet areas will pick up more dirty water and leave the mats almost dry enough to use.
I hope to give this product a more thorough test and update this review once the protective plastic comes off my carpet.
As a caution, don’t fill the clean water reservoir while it is sitting on a counter. This will depress the release valve on the bottom of the reservoir and your counter will get wet. After our renovation the Bissell got a real workout. The gunk that it got out of a freshly vacuumed carpet was amazing! Better than that, this Bissell was designed to be cleaned easily and completely. No more funky mess to fester in the machine between uses. They also now offer a bare floor attachment (not available at the time of my initial). Sorry for the initial 4-star rating. This machine is 5+ all the way!

Does this boost WiFi and cell phone service?

Can you copy on photo paper. From a camera?
I would not recommend this printer for printing photos. Color calibration must be done manually and only laser printer stock is recommended. There is glossy brochure paper that you could use, but most photo paper is intended for use in ink-jet printer and is not intended to withstand the heat of laser printing.

No. This printer will not perform duplex printing or scanning.

Does it have HDR?
There is an option to engage HDR for photos (and perhaps video). The Tab S6 will decode video up to 8K, but so far as I can tell, the 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA) display is not HDR capable with regard to video streaming/playback.

Does it have a headphone jack ? I must have a headphone jack. Wireless sound is not as good quality.
There is no headphone jack on the Tab S6. I suggest a USB(C) headphone adapter or DAC/AMP if you are not satisfied with the sound quality using Bluetooth 5.0.

The charger it comes with is 25W or 15W?
The charger is dual voltage (9.0v @ 1.67A and 5.0v @ 2.0A). The 9.0v x 1.67A = 15.03 watts.

Is this device GPS enabled like the S4?
Yes. Location services use a combination of GPS, wireless network, and Wi-Fi data. Photos can be tagged with GPS EXIF data.
