I've used quite a bit of different earbuds from Apple Airpods 2, Sony, Anker and Beats. They all are good in their own respect however I really prefer ones that are good all-around. From calls to music/gaming, I like earbuds I can use for pretty much anything. These are actually quite nice and easily fulfill that jack-of-all-trades earbuds but with stellar performance.
For calls, really nothing to complain about here. Sound is crystal clear and no issues with drops or echoing like I have had with some other ones. Whether connected to my phone or laptop, I get great sound and clear voice coming through.
For music, very nice to say the least. While it's not as deep a bass as Sonys, these still offer great all around sound that will suit anyones needs really. Mids/highs are nice and crisp but also has a touch of bass as well. I know that some people do/don't like Bluetooth LE but I find it to be a bit more versatile, especially when connecting to multiple devices.
Overall, these are probably my top three earbuds that I currently have and will find a nice place in my pack whenever I travel.

I've been going through a lot of printers lately and it seems that Brother is doing a really great job at putting out competitively priced, feature packed printers. I've mainly use HP/Canon printers lately but, for one reason or another, there's always something a miss with those printers whether it be price, cost of cartridges, etc. Brother seems to be sticking with just putting out decent printers in an already saturated printer market.
First thing is that this a somewhat large printer. Definitely larger than your normal printer so you'll need to be aware of where you're putting this thing. It's a bit hefty too so need to be sure that it's on a sturdy surface.
This being an all-in-one printer, does pretty much everything you need. Like many other printers these days, there is a companion app where you can print/scan/etc., remotely adding an additional level of functionality. This is a B/W printer so better suited for more basic printing needs. Print quality is good as this being a laser printer. Personally, I hate these small LCD displays but this one seems to be actually usable so that's nice.
Toner cartridge is reasonably priced I think. OEM ones are just under $100 however, the manufacturer complains more prints per cartridge so here's hoping that's true. I mainly print B/W so this is well suited for my needs.
The IdeaPad 1 raises the bar on every affordable laptop with a super-efficient Intel Celeron N4020 processor in a thin and compact 17.9 mm chassis that makes multitasking a breeze while boosting energy efficiency with up-to-11 hours of battery life and rapid charge. I get the purpose for this laptop. It's super cheap and would make it available to lots of people. It's lightweight form factor and low price makes this a really nice option in need of a laptop. However, depending on your needs of a laptop, this may/may not make sense.
To start, I work remotely and do a lot of PC gaming so I'm used to/in need of fast, high performing laptops. I can't stand when laptops operate sluggishly as that slows down productivity and gaming for me. However, not everyone is in the same boat. Some people just want/need a really inexpensive laptop for casual use. This laptop is aimed at those users.
When you first start up this laptop, it's going to be very SLOW....like infuriatingly slow. The Celeron processor in this laptop is 4-5 years old so it's pretty basic. That along with 4GB of RAM is aimed at pretty basic operation. Small hard drive and basic screen all make for a budget PC which this is. This would be marketed at maybe a childs first computer or maybe for your grandparents? I find this useful as a travel laptop where I'll, primarily, be checking emails or doing very light internet tasks.
That said, this is almost too slow to be really useful. It takes upwards or 15-20 seconds just to launch the Start menu. Can't really use Chrome since it's a RAM hog and even MS Edge runs really slow. Even after removing some of the bloatware, installing all updates, managing power plan and editing apps that start each time, this thing is just too slow for my tastes. Everything on here takes time...some things take a lot of time.
This is really only useful as a casual use laptop. If you have work tasks or anything even remotely CPU heavy, you should pass on this as this is not what this laptop is designed for.

For those interested in a color laser printer without forking over a lot of money, this is something you might be interested in.
I've been an inkjet user for ages so I just always had an inkjet printer. I recently got a B/W laser printer that's really nice but, every once in awhile, I need to print color. I had the opportunity to try out this color laser printer and it's quite a nice device; the best of both worlds.
Inkjet printers are really inexpensive which is why I've always gotten them. The price for lasers printers is sorta high still but even more so for color laser printers. This one, I think, is reasonably priced as is the toner for it. The print quality of a laser printer is unmatched so this is no exception.
As far as connectivity, it'll print from wifi, ethernet, cable as well as through it's companion app. The companion app is nice in that you can print from anywhere so no need to sit around the printer like before.
Print quality is very nice and very fast too. Color prints come out really nice. The unit is a bit hefty so you'll need to put it somewhere sturdy.

Somewhat new(ish) to the drone world so I've never had a model as nice as this one before. Still, I was really excited to test this one out and, WOW, this is a top notch unit.
In the box, you get everything you need to be up and running. In addition to the drone/remote, you get a nice carrying case, 3 batteries w/charger, extra rotor blades, additional filters for the front camera and about 6-7 different charging cables for various countries. Really well thought out product here in terms of what's included.
The drone/remote takes little time to get paired up. The only thing that will slow down your enjoyment of this drone is the updates needed when you first get it. Pretty much everything here is step-by-step so you're not fumbling around for how to this or that which is really nice.
The camera is probably the nicest part about this unit. It provides really crisp, stunning pictures as well as video. You get additional filters to put onto the camera for different picture styles. There are 3 filters total. Having used this for a bit, the controls are excellent and responsive. You get a choice between "easy" mode where your drone just hovers wherever you stop it or a more manual, sport mode if you are a seasoned operator. Even for me, the controls were simply and easy to use. A really great feature was the range of this drone. It's around 9-10 mile range where you can operate this. My other drone was maybe a couple miles or so? Haven't gotten the change to fully test out range but, so far, it's been really great.
That said, i crashed mine :( So I have the wonderful experience of repairing this drone too. For a return process, DJI worked extremely well and quick which was really surprising. From start to finish, it took about a week and a half. Kudos to the repair team for that.

Always liked the chrome look to just about anything. But for a phone case? Well, I had to try it out and see what it would look like for my new phone.
The case is pretty "standard" looking for the most part. The sides of the case are rubbery so good texture/grip there so no concerns about it being too slippery or anything like that. The cutouts match up perfectly as expected. The one weird thing about the buttons on this case are that they're not fully covered. They're kinda like slits cut into the case so you have great responsiveness from the buttons but they're also slightly exposed. Issue(s) with dirt/grime getting in there are a thing so just an FYI. Case seems like it offers sufficient protection from drops as well as dings/scratches.
However, that leads us up to the main attraction for this case; the mirror finish on the back. Yes, it looks VERY nice and is just like a mirror. Really eye catching for sure and sure to get a compliment here and there. BUT, as we all would've guessed, this thing is going to get trashed after a day of normal use. That once beautiful mirror reflection will be peppered with scratches and dings in no time.
That said, very nice case but, honestly, you'll probably be getting a new one real soon.

I've been gaming for decades now and, more recently, have switched over to PC gaming. As usual, I've had a number of gaming headsets from Turtle Beach, Logitech to Astros. These are all over-the-ear style headsets which is what I, and most other gamers, have become accustomed to. I have earbuds for listening to music however I never entertained the thought of using gaming earbuds before. Being that these are from Sony, I was intrigued since I have a few of their Bluetooth earbuds already.
As far as size/fit, these are pretty standard in terms of that. They're about the size of their normal music earbuds and are a comfortable fit. As usual, these earbuds come with various tips to get a better fit from these earbuds. Comes with a charging case that uses USB-C so you'll have power from the earbuds as well as from the case.
Sound wise, these are mid range I'd say. With their music earbuds like their MX3s, they are geared for music and have their patented Extra Bass feature in them. With these, they sound like regular earbuds. Nothing about the sound really jumped out at me like with their music earbuds. You can download their Inzone application to your PC to fine tune the EQ as well as setup custom profiles. Even on full blast, they really didn't sound anything too special to me.
I docked them a star because, for some reason, I'm not able to pair these with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. They seem to pair well/easily with Android phones but something about the iPhone it's a no-go. Contacted Sony support but they were pretty useless here.
That said, I like these and plan on using them with my gaming laptop when travelling. Good that I won't have to lug my full size headsets anymore and can just bring these with me while abroad

Pretty standard these days for printers to be multi-functional ones so this being one is no surprise. Having used Canon printers (off and on) for the past decade or so, I've never really experienced a "bad" one and this is no different.
Being a multi-functional printer, it does everything for home/school/office that you need it to. Printing is good at 15PPM for black. Nice little paper tray holds 100 sheets of paper which is about normal for a printer this size. Size wise, it's a relatively small footprint so you can put it just about anywhere without it being in the way.
Scanning is pretty standard as well. This isn't a high res scanner but good enough for all your everyday scanning needs. It's a wireless printer too along with its companion app so you can print/scan wirelessly which is a nice bonus.
Inks. Here's where it gets a little dicey for me. Cartridges are on par, price wise, so not a big issue there however Canon seems to be venturing into the same subscription based model that HP did. With HP, you HAD to sign up for an account even to use the printer. Hoping it's not like this with Canon so we'll see. Haven't been able to test if these can use remanufactured ink cartridges or if they're blocked like HP does.
Functionality wise, a decent all-around printer to suit all your needs. Only real potential issue is how Canon decides to move forward with their print subscription plans.

Normally, I'm a generic black case kind of guy. For all my phones I've almost always had a black case, or sometimes clear case, whenever I needed to get a case for my phone. I was interested in this one since it's an iridescent color case. I've always kind of liked the look of iridescent cases however never pulled the trigger on one before.
With my newer iPhone, I thought it would be a nice change of pace to get a different case this time. This Zagg case looks really nice plus is has the magsafe ring on it which is a nice bonus. The color of the case is just really nice. I like the look a lot and, based on the viewing angle, the case will change color. Kinda slick looking and is definitely a nice look. The case is almost all hard plastic. There isn't any silicon on it so it's not like one of those hybrid cases you see elsewhere. This might be a pro/con depending on your viewpoint. Personally, I think a little silicon would be nice just for fit and finish. The case is very smooth to the touch however it has some ridges on the side for grip. I think a strip of silicon on the sides would've been better just for grip and feel. Overall though, nice looking case that offers good protection from scratches/dents/etc.

Screen protectors are pretty much a necessity for me and my devices. I have them on pretty much device that has a screen so my iPhone would be no different. Personally, I've never really had a preference for glass screen protectors by brand as I figure they're all pretty much the same. I've had some generic no-name brand ones as well as some high(er) dollar ones. I got a chance to test out this screen protector from Zagg so I was trying to keep an open mind on this just based on previous experiences.
For starters, there is only one screen protector included. It comes with the normal "prep" accessories like an alcohol pad and some stickers to pick up any residual lint that may be leftover on your device. Fortunately, this also comes with an alignment tray to make installation a little easier. I've used these before and, regardless of brand, they almost always work out perfectly...even from cheaper brand screen protectors. After install, it's clear and looks great as one would expect.
At the end of the day though, there are other screen protectors out there that work just as well as this one and for cheaper costs.

Excellent laptop for everyday use
ByLouRevuefromWashington, DC
Having had the chance to use this laptop, I must say it’s quite an impressive model for almostn any use. With an abundance of features housed in a sleek, stylish body, it’s a solid laptop for anyone in the market for a new/replacement laptop.
Using a 7th gen i5 dual core processor, the laptop functions on par with just about any laptop in its price range. With 8GB of RAM (12GB max) and a 1TB hard drive, it offers plenty of speed and room for all your files and enough power/speed to perform almost any task.
As far as the aesthetics go, this is an impressive looking laptop with clean lines, brushed aluminum cover and beveled edges. It’s a very nice looking laptop no doubt and the design, overall, is quite appealing. It comes with a full size keyboard as well as backlit keys which is a nice touch. Only gripe with the keyboard are the arrow buttons as the Up/Down buttons are smaller due to keyboard layout. The power button is on the right side of the laptop which is a bit unique as well as a dedicated volume button. There are 2 USB 3.0 ports as well as 1 USB 2.0 port, HDMI, SD Card and USB-C port. There is no CD drive for anyone wondering. The laptop (closed) is only about ¾ inch tall however it’s a bit wider than most due to the full size keyboard.
Power/performance. Using a dual-core processor I was under the impression this would be relatively slow and have choppy performance when opening multiple programs. Being this is the latest gen processor from Intel, this is not the case. Opening 2-3 programs at once was done with relative ease and switching between them was pretty flawless. The 8GB RAM comes in quite handy here and even with a 5400 RPM HDD, this laptop was able to perform tasks with very good speed. Battery life is pretty good. Using it “normally” and leaving it on for about 5-6 hours, there was about 50% battery left. Also, one very noteworthy benefit to this laptop, it doesn’t get that hot when left on for long periods of time which is VERY nice.
The display is probably the most impressive feature on here. A full 1080p display is quite vibrant and displays bright and dark colors extremely well. Those wanting to watch Netflix/Hulu will have no issues with the display. In addition to visuals, the sound from this laptop is equally impressive. For watching movies or just playing music, the speakers on this laptop deliver quite nicely without too much reverberation or distorted sound.
One of my initial thoughts of this being a 2-in-1 was that the tablet was an afterthought/gimmick. Having used previous 2-in-1 laptops, I was expecting the tablet functionality to be quite lackluster. Again, this was not the case. In this unit, you have, both, a well built laptop as well as tablet on-the-go device. Once in tablet mode, the screen orients itself to that of a normal tablet using Windows Tiles. Touch sensitivity is surprisingly smooth and using paint programs worked well without any lag or drops in sensitivity. Using the tablet form works really well when you want to sit back and watch videos or movies. Very nice.
A couple concerns with this laptop were;
The hard drive. While it’s a large 1TB drive, I would’ve expected something, at least, in the 7200 RPM range. Being fast enough for normal business related tasks, anyone wanting to use this laptop for video editing or other processor intensive jobs might find it to be a bit slow. This can easily be remedied by replacing the HD for a faster spindle drive or a SSD. However it would’ve been nice to have a tad faster hard drive here. The keyboard, for me, took a bit getting used to since I have previously used standard laptop keyboards without the number pad. This is a personal preference so nothing against the design. Just noting that those of you used to that type of laptop keyboard, there will be a bit of learning curve involved however I think the addition of the number pad is great thing and should be standard on all laptops. While the brushed aluminum case is aesthetically appealing, I’m a little concerned about it getting scratched/dinged from normal use or if when you’re changing it to be used as a tablet. This is the case with some laptops that use this metal casing so just something to be aware of.
Overall, this is an impressive laptop, reasonably priced with enough up-to-date technology that will last you for several years to come. Being that it’s a 2-in-1, it’s an added bonus which allows you to use this device in ways you should be able to do and with relative ease. There is some bloatware included (this should be no surprise) so make sure to uninstall/delete the stuff you don’t need. Aside from a somewhat slow hard drive, the other features on this laptop more than make up for it. Very nice buy for a new work laptop or student.
It took a bit of time to setup my laptop as well. Have you tried uninstalling the bloatware on this laptop? I did and I don't have any issues with boot speed or anything else on my laptop.

Can an owner of the original non active 65t comment on the fit and stability difference with the active version? Curious if that and the extra IP rating is worth a look, or negligible.
I own both the active and regular 65T's and I don't see any noticeable difference between them. Aside from the IP rating, there's really not much difference. Both fit exactly the same and fit pretty snugly in the ear.

The dimming function lets you set an ambience for different moods, and it works with the Philips Hue dimmer switch and mobile app for versatile control. The ZigBee technology of this 32W Philips Being Hue ceiling lamp provides smooth, efficient interoperability with multiple Hue lighting units.
Can this light be controlled by a existing wired wall switch? I plan to replace the light that is already there with this one, but I would prefer to use the wired switch.
Yes you can...that's what I did. One thing to note is that the light won't come on immediately like your current light fixture does. There's a second or two delay after you flip the switch. I'm planning on replacing the switch with a dimmer switch so maybe that will correct the delay.
