I like the style of these earbuds quite a bit. They look pretty solid and the combination of metal/plastic really looks sharp in my opinion.
I've used a number of different earbuds over the years and these seem to hold up well with just about any other ones I have.
Like the fit of these buds as well. I have "normal" sized ears I guess and I usually encounter some earbuds that are too small and wiggle around when using them; even after swapping out different sized ears plugs. Straight out of the box, these fit really snug and don't wiggle around which is great.
Sound quality is OK. There doesn't seem to be a bias between highs/lows so it's just kind of "normal" sounding? I listen to a lot of bass heavy music and these don't really quite hit the lows I'm accustomed to.
Biggest con I had with these was the sound quality when using them on a call. I found the volume very low and distant sounding. The person I was calling had to ask me to speak up a few times during the call so not sure how the mics on these are. Seems like they're not sensitive enough?

I have quite a few security cameras in my place but this was a nice change of pace from my other ones.
I have a complete security camera setup with 6 different cameras placed around my place; both indoor and outdoor. I got this one to supplement those in addition to being the "floater" camera since this one is able to pan/tilt.
All my other cameras are static and only point in one direction which is both good and bad. I have great coverage around my place to ensure I get a complete 360 view of my place and outdoor area. This one is great in that I use it indoors. This camera can pan/tilt so I'm able to view a greater area easily without the need of mounting more cameras indoors.
The companion app for this is pretty simple and intuitive. Setup is pretty straight forward and only took 10 minutes to complete everything. Once setup, you can pan/tilt the camera as needed, you can get motion alerts (for people or cars) as well as setup a schedule of when the light bulb turns on/off.
I'll admit my setup of this camera isn't quite optimal by most accounts. However, as this is supplementing my existing camera system, I think it fills a niche that my other camera couldn't. If you don't have ANY sort of camera or security system in your place, this would be a decent start provided you have a suitable location to set this up in.

When I initially saw this, I asked myself....why? What can this possibly do/add to the gaming experience for me? But, after a bit of playing around with this, I kinda like it.
Basically, this is the rumble function from your controller, plus sized, for your chair. I never thought having a haptic cushion for my chair would even make sense. However, I'm slowly getting used to this and I like it.
This is a universal chair cushion that hooks up to your PC via USB or phone app. You will need to download the PC app to get this paired and setup so, just so you know. You're able to control/update the settings in the PC app or on the side of the cushion using the push buttons.
This works by turning loud sounds in-game into vibrations. Anything that's really bass heavy like explosions or bombs really puts out a strong vibration which is kinda cool. However, I noticed the feedback you get is really game dependent. For example, Playing Destiny 2, only loud crashes or big booms really sent out a big vibration while gunfire was pretty minimal. Playing Delta Force on PC, the gun shots came through really strong as did most other game sounds. I was pleasantly surprised that while playing Red Dead Redemption 2, riding your horse did give some slight feedback which was pretty cool. I thought it could've been more but intense but, oh well.
The one big complaint I had with this was with the power cord. It's 6 feet long and quite stiff. Having this on your chair can become a slight irritation as you're some what limited to how far you can move your chair. You HAVE to get the cord off the ground, otherwise you will run over it with your chair wheel. I routed my power cord through the back of my chair (which works fine) but now I'm somewhat limited in the movement of my chair. If they made the cable either longer or less rigid than that would be great.
Overall though, I'm finding myself really liking this cushion. At the very least, it's an extra cushion for your chair which never hurts. Also to note, since this works off sound, the chair will vibrate when watching Netflix, YouTube videos or basically anything that has sound.

I'm a big fan of glass screen protectors as I use them on pretty much all my devices. I have ones for my phone, watch, iPad as well as other handheld electronics. I've seen all these high tech ones as well as the super cheap variety and, honestly, there's not a huge difference between them other than pricing.
I've used ZAGG and other more recognizable brands when it comes to screen protectors. I've used these when they first came out as PET film screen protectors. And in all my time, I've not noticed any major benefits/differences between these high dollar brand versus the cheap ones you can get from other online retailers. As such, whenever I get a new device, I'll generally get the cheaper variety since they cost way less than something like this.
While this one is a nice screen protector, I find it wildly overpriced. Something like this, at most, should be around $20 if that. This one being almost $60 is just way too overkill for me. You can easily find a screen protector for 1/10 the price elsewhere.

I've seen/used quite a few different cases for my iPhone 16 Pro Max and this one is somewhere in the middle of the pack. I have a white iPhone so the clear cases are the ones I usually get. This one is pretty good and has a nice kickstand along with MagSafe.
For most of my cases, I usually prefer slim/medium sized ones. Ones that are slim enough to not be super bulky but yet offer some decent drop protection. This one fits that bill pretty nicely.
While I don't use the kickstand, it is nice that it's there should I ever need it. Every once in awhile, if I'm at a cafe or something, I can just plop my phone down and still use it with the kickstand up. Naturally, I use headphones when doing this.
The biggest gripe I have with this case, as well as many other cases, is the cut out for the new camera button. I've only seen one manufacturer actually cover this button with a capacitive button and not sure why other case manufacturers haven't picked up on this? Like so many others, the cut out for the camera button is just that...a cut out. This exposes the button, and in some other instances, part of the phone frame to dust, damage, etc. While the cutout is usable, it's still a bit shallow so you kind of have to run you finger along the button a couple times in order to actuate the button.

Never thought I'd own anything Barbie in my life but, here I am with a Barbie themed phone. In a world dominated with state-of-the-art smart phones, bit of a different change using this dumb phone.
To start, if you're one of those looking for the latest and greatest in phone technology...this ain't it. This is your typical dumb, flip phone plastered with everything Barbie from the interchangeable back plates to the mirror chrome front. This is for the Barbie fanatic in your life as well as a nice change from gawking at your smart phone all day.
Included with the phone are a bunch of stickers, a couple different back plates as well as a beaded lanyard. This is on top of the normal charger (USB-C) cable and a wall charger. Again, everything is very pink and Barbie-ish. The phone itself has, by todays standards, very basic specs;
Display: 2.8 in. display 4 GB internal storage (MicroSD expandable to 32GB RAM 512 MB 5 MP camera w/ Flashlight Quad-core Cortex-A53
Fairly basic but, for this phone, it works just fine.
Again, if you're in the market for a snazzy high tech phone, you need to look elsewhere. But, that said, it's still a great little phone to use since it comes unlocked so you can use it with just about any provider. It has really big buttons so it's user friendly for kids or older folks.

I've used quite a few different smart locks and this is pretty decent I think. It's controllable with your smart phone and has some decent features that will make this a nice addition to your place.
Installation is fairly straight forward. You can use your existing deadbolt with this which is a huge bonus. I've used ones that replaced your deadbolt and have a keypad or something to unlock your door. I won't be going that route ever again since, once the battery dies in that keypad, very good chance of being locked out of your place. A previous one I had did just this and, long story short, I had to get a locksmith to drill out the "smart" lock to the tune of $500. I recommend getting a smart lock that allows you to still use your existing key/deadbolt specifically for this reason.
Once installed, you will need to pair it up with your base station. This one takes only the newer one from Simplisafe so be sure you have a compatible base station to use with this. Once paired, you can set the passcode on the included keypad as well as other useful features.
My only gripe with this lock is, when installing it, the unit is very loose. I can move it by hand even though everything is screwed down tightly. I can move it a fair amount which is some concern for me. It doesn't seem to affect the locking mechanism but, still, really wished it wasn't so shoddily attached to the deadbolt. I would've preferred some other way to mount the lock to the door (via screws or something) to address this. For now though, it seems to be fine
I would recommend this to a friend!

When it comes to gaming, I'm more of a FPS/Open World type player. While racing games was something I'd enjoy playing, i.e. Gran Turismo, using a normal controller or keyboard just doesn't quite work well. After picking this racing wheel up, I'm about to go nuts with the Steam sale and start buying some more racing games.
I used to be a console peasant (PS3/PS4) but I've since graduated to PC gaming. I recently picked up Forza and, man, does it look beautiful on PC. Running 14900k/4090 so everything is crisp and beautiful. Again, going back to controller/keyboard, racing games just don't feel right with that kind of setup. With this racing wheel though? Complete game changer.
I'm still trying to find a suitable setup for this wheel. Wondering if I should use the desk clamps or find something else to hook this up to. That said, out of the box, this thing slaps. The force feedback on the wheel is super solid and really adds to the overall racing experience. The pedals I found were a little on the stiff side however, I'm assuming they should loosen up over time.
Still though, this is a wonderful enhancement for your racing sims/games. Now I'm deliberating if I should just go all out and get a racing rig and hook everything up to that. But I don't think I have the room for that unfortunately. Still though, Forza is much nicer using this setup so looking forward to finding more racing games I can utilize this wheel with.

These Tiles were the OG Bluetooth tracker and still work very well. Until the AirTags came out, this was pretty much what you wanted to have to connect to your keys, wallet, bags, etc. This being the latest generation of the Tiles, still works the same and is pretty useful.
I have numerous AirTags however this is my first real Tile. I had a keychain with a Tile sensor built in but this is the first I'm using the actual Tile. To start, you'll need to download the Tile app for either Android/Apple Store and link up the Tile to whatever you're going to be using it with. Setup is quite simple and doesn't take up too much time. Like any other Bluetooth device, you can name it and other small admin things like change the icon of it and such. As far as accuracy, it's pretty spot on. It'll sense if it's nearby as well as show you where it was "seen" so you can backtrack in case you lose something.
So how does it compare to an AirTag? Biggest gripe I had with this was the similar functionality you'd get with an AirTag can be had on a Tile....provided you sign up for their subscription. One of the bigger features that's paywalled is the "Smart Alerts" which let you know if you've left your item behind. You can also get 30 day tracking as well as a reimbursement insurance if you're unable to locate the item the Tile is tracking. The annual price of the subscription is $100.
So these Tiles are, roughly, the same price as an AirTag but to use it like an AirTag, you have to pay an additional $100? This is one of those instances where a subscription is not needed as it prices it out of the competition.
If you have/use multiple Tiles then maybe it might be worth it to get the subscription. But if you're like me and just have a few of these trackers, the annual subscription just doesn't make it worth it.

I have a somewhat decent home theater setup and it's the little things like this cable that make it some much more nicer. It provides flexibility on your install and allows you place your components where want them instead of where you have to have them.
Your first thought would probably be, "why do I need a $100+, 50ft long HDMI cable?" True, for most TV setups, this is a bit overkill however, for those working on a custom home theater setup, this type of cable is invaluable.
I have your typical big screen TV, speakers, amplifier and surround sound setup. However I was looking to add a projector to my place and this cable is perfect for that. Typically, this length of cable allows you to have that clean look and run the cable inside your walls. For those with large rooms, this is a nice touch so no more wires/cables laying on the ground. This is the similar route I was looking to take with my projector where it would be ceiling mounted and then I can run the cable through the ceiling and down to my amplifier.
The cable itself is very high quality. My Blu-Ray DVDs come through very crisp and clear without any degradation to picture quality like you would see with a cheaper cable or something that's been scaled up to 4k resolution.
Once my setup is completed, I'm hoping this is a durable cable (and it looks to be) so no needs for replacing it down the road. Yes, it's a tad on the expensive side however, if you have the need for a cable like this then it'll be worth it in the end.

Excellent laptop for everyday use
ByLouRevuefromWashington, DC
Having had the chance to use this laptop, I must say it’s quite an impressive model for almostn any use. With an abundance of features housed in a sleek, stylish body, it’s a solid laptop for anyone in the market for a new/replacement laptop.
Using a 7th gen i5 dual core processor, the laptop functions on par with just about any laptop in its price range. With 8GB of RAM (12GB max) and a 1TB hard drive, it offers plenty of speed and room for all your files and enough power/speed to perform almost any task.
As far as the aesthetics go, this is an impressive looking laptop with clean lines, brushed aluminum cover and beveled edges. It’s a very nice looking laptop no doubt and the design, overall, is quite appealing. It comes with a full size keyboard as well as backlit keys which is a nice touch. Only gripe with the keyboard are the arrow buttons as the Up/Down buttons are smaller due to keyboard layout. The power button is on the right side of the laptop which is a bit unique as well as a dedicated volume button. There are 2 USB 3.0 ports as well as 1 USB 2.0 port, HDMI, SD Card and USB-C port. There is no CD drive for anyone wondering. The laptop (closed) is only about ¾ inch tall however it’s a bit wider than most due to the full size keyboard.
Power/performance. Using a dual-core processor I was under the impression this would be relatively slow and have choppy performance when opening multiple programs. Being this is the latest gen processor from Intel, this is not the case. Opening 2-3 programs at once was done with relative ease and switching between them was pretty flawless. The 8GB RAM comes in quite handy here and even with a 5400 RPM HDD, this laptop was able to perform tasks with very good speed. Battery life is pretty good. Using it “normally” and leaving it on for about 5-6 hours, there was about 50% battery left. Also, one very noteworthy benefit to this laptop, it doesn’t get that hot when left on for long periods of time which is VERY nice.
The display is probably the most impressive feature on here. A full 1080p display is quite vibrant and displays bright and dark colors extremely well. Those wanting to watch Netflix/Hulu will have no issues with the display. In addition to visuals, the sound from this laptop is equally impressive. For watching movies or just playing music, the speakers on this laptop deliver quite nicely without too much reverberation or distorted sound.
One of my initial thoughts of this being a 2-in-1 was that the tablet was an afterthought/gimmick. Having used previous 2-in-1 laptops, I was expecting the tablet functionality to be quite lackluster. Again, this was not the case. In this unit, you have, both, a well built laptop as well as tablet on-the-go device. Once in tablet mode, the screen orients itself to that of a normal tablet using Windows Tiles. Touch sensitivity is surprisingly smooth and using paint programs worked well without any lag or drops in sensitivity. Using the tablet form works really well when you want to sit back and watch videos or movies. Very nice.
A couple concerns with this laptop were;
The hard drive. While it’s a large 1TB drive, I would’ve expected something, at least, in the 7200 RPM range. Being fast enough for normal business related tasks, anyone wanting to use this laptop for video editing or other processor intensive jobs might find it to be a bit slow. This can easily be remedied by replacing the HD for a faster spindle drive or a SSD. However it would’ve been nice to have a tad faster hard drive here. The keyboard, for me, took a bit getting used to since I have previously used standard laptop keyboards without the number pad. This is a personal preference so nothing against the design. Just noting that those of you used to that type of laptop keyboard, there will be a bit of learning curve involved however I think the addition of the number pad is great thing and should be standard on all laptops. While the brushed aluminum case is aesthetically appealing, I’m a little concerned about it getting scratched/dinged from normal use or if when you’re changing it to be used as a tablet. This is the case with some laptops that use this metal casing so just something to be aware of.
Overall, this is an impressive laptop, reasonably priced with enough up-to-date technology that will last you for several years to come. Being that it’s a 2-in-1, it’s an added bonus which allows you to use this device in ways you should be able to do and with relative ease. There is some bloatware included (this should be no surprise) so make sure to uninstall/delete the stuff you don’t need. Aside from a somewhat slow hard drive, the other features on this laptop more than make up for it. Very nice buy for a new work laptop or student.
It took a bit of time to setup my laptop as well. Have you tried uninstalling the bloatware on this laptop? I did and I don't have any issues with boot speed or anything else on my laptop.

Can an owner of the original non active 65t comment on the fit and stability difference with the active version? Curious if that and the extra IP rating is worth a look, or negligible.
I own both the active and regular 65T's and I don't see any noticeable difference between them. Aside from the IP rating, there's really not much difference. Both fit exactly the same and fit pretty snugly in the ear.

The dimming function lets you set an ambience for different moods, and it works with the Philips Hue dimmer switch and mobile app for versatile control. The ZigBee technology of this 32W Philips Being Hue ceiling lamp provides smooth, efficient interoperability with multiple Hue lighting units.
Can this light be controlled by a existing wired wall switch? I plan to replace the light that is already there with this one, but I would prefer to use the wired switch.
Yes you can...that's what I did. One thing to note is that the light won't come on immediately like your current light fixture does. There's a second or two delay after you flip the switch. I'm planning on replacing the switch with a dimmer switch so maybe that will correct the delay.
