This is a pretty decent light duty laptop for just about anyone. Spec wise, it's pretty basic but it does the job for web surfing, word doc and light photo editing tasks. Good travel laptop if you're looking for one.
With the specs on this laptop, it's no AI powerhouse or gaming rig but for simple, light duty tasks, this will be more than enough for any user. The i3 processor and 8GB RAM are pretty light in terms of functionality, as is the 128GB hard rive but, for this model, that's not what the intended use is. I sdee this more as a student laptop or travel/backup laptop. It's inexpensive enough where this would be a great laptop for your student. It'll be more than enough for their day to day tasks and assignments. Also, if you already have a laptop/desktop, then this could be a travel/work laptop as well.
As far as ports, there's a surprising amount of ports for this which is nice. Most laptops these days come with 1 or 2 ports (either USB-C/A or Thunderbolt) and this one has 3 USB-A ports, 1 USB-C, HDMI and headphone jack. Good for using/charging any of your accessories without issue and you could also extend to another monitor with the HDMI.
Good thing to note is that this laptop is upgradeable in terms of RAM and HD. I've seen some users state the RAM can max out at 32GB or 40GBsso I'm not 100% sure on max capacity. HD is listed as SSD so you can easily upgrade that to a larger size if needed.
Overall, nice light duty laptop if you're in the need for one. Battery life seems OK though I wouldn't say it's an all day battery. Size wise, it's a little thicker than I was expecting for such a light duty laptop and the weight does seem a little heavier than expected as well. But the price point for this is a big factor IMO as it's low enough where these minor inconveniences are worht it.

Been using Astro's for a minute and they're pretty good headsets. However, after using these Alienware ones, thinking I may have to switch up and start using these for my gaming sessions.
Really liked the sound from my Astro A40s however the earpads that come with them aren't that great at blocking outside noise. They're those fabric type pads so quite a bit of sound can seep through while playing. Thinking of having some noise cancelling headsets would be great but haven't really seen ones that fit the bill. These Alienware seem to pick up where the Astro left off and in great style.
The fit is quite nice on these headsets. I have a big head and these fit quite well without pinching my ears or noggin. Used them for a few hours and didn't have any issues with discomfort.
The sound is quite nice. The 50mm drivers deliver great audio quality and sounds come in pretty nicely. The sound is enhanced by the active noise cancellation. This is a huge upgrade for me as now I game in my own little audio world without outside noises distracting me. Much like some of your higher end music headsets, these deliver very good noise cancellation which allows you to hear everything better in game without the need of jacking up the volume.
Connectivity is great as you have several different ways to connect the headset to your PC/console. The buttons on the headset are laid out quite intuitively which is nice so everything you need to push or adjust is right where you'd expect it to be. The white color is nice too in that it matches my Alienware laptop.
The HP OfficeJet Pro 9730e delivers fast color printing, 500-sheet paper capacity, and handles files up to 11x17". It's AI-enabled to intuitively adapt to your workflow, with wireless and security features that keep your multifunction printer up to date and secure, and is the world's only wide-format printer with P3 Color.

While I don't have my own business, I can see the value in having a printer like this around for all your office scanning/printing needs. This thing is a beast in all aspects both functionally and physically. This should be the only printer you'll need whether for a small-mid size business or if you work out of your home office.
This thing is big so you'll need to make sure you got the real estate to plop this somewhere. Quite heavy too. But, with most HP AIO printers, this thing can pretty much do it all. The big bonus here is with the wide format printing; up to 11x17 inches print size. I could see this being quite the advantage for a design shop or marketing firm where you'd need to print out larger wire frames or display pieces or something to that effect.
This being an AIO, you can do pretty much anything you need with this printer. The added companion app will also let you print remotely too which is a nice bonus. The included 3 months of instant ink should be a nice selling point for people as well. This can print large quantities of jobs and has the larger size ink cartridges as well.
Another nice AIO printer from HP that is probably overkill for most people but great if you have your own business or need a floor printer for your different departments.

Big coffee drinker but things getting the way they are, kind of expensive to keep this habit up. I usually get the normal house brew but I do like a good espresso every now and then. With this latest addition to my kitchen, I can have it anytime now without incurring such large expenses.
I was a bit hesitant about using this seeing as I normally don't operate a machine like this. But, having watched baristas make these for so long now, it was pretty intuitive on how to use this machine properly. I'm no expert but I'm getting there (hopefully). Once you've learned how to operate the machine properly then it pretty much becomes a no-brainer after that. The knobs and buttons on this are pretty straightforward so there's not really much to mess up thanfully.
That said, the coffee I'm getting out of this thing is great. I'm just using my normal coffee for now however I'll definitely look into getting different brands and such down the road. I haven't quite mastered the creamer pouring bit but am slowly getting there.
If you're the type that REALLY likes their coffee and spends oodles of money each month buying them, it'd probably be a great idea to pick one of these up and save some money.

Been a gamer for some time now and finding a decent controller (that lasts) is pretty challenging. SCUF usually makes really nice ones and this one is no exception. Whether on XBOX or PC, this is a really nice controller to use.
I'm using this on my PC and it works really nice. My previous controller was a wired one but this being wireless is just really nice. The overall "fit" of the controller is nice. It feels good in the hand and the buttons are well placed and easily reachable without being too awkward.
The customizable rear paddles are super nice which is something my older controller didn't have. It adds that extra versatility and enhances your gameplay quite nicely. The controller also has inline voice controls which is nice to easily increase/decrease volume without messing around with another amp or something.
Biggest thing for me are the anti-drift thumbsticks. This is the single greatest pain point for me being a controller user in that these breakdown the fastest. This also leads me to having to get more controllers to replace the broken ones. They feel really nice during gameplay so here's hoping they can last longer than my previous controller did.
Only time will tell how it holds up over time but here's hoping this one holds up and last for awhile.

I like the style of these earbuds quite a bit. They look pretty solid and the combination of metal/plastic really looks sharp in my opinion.
I've used a number of different earbuds over the years and these seem to hold up well with just about any other ones I have.
Like the fit of these buds as well. I have "normal" sized ears I guess and I usually encounter some earbuds that are too small and wiggle around when using them; even after swapping out different sized ears plugs. Straight out of the box, these fit really snug and don't wiggle around which is great.
Sound quality is OK. There doesn't seem to be a bias between highs/lows so it's just kind of "normal" sounding? I listen to a lot of bass heavy music and these don't really quite hit the lows I'm accustomed to.
Biggest con I had with these was the sound quality when using them on a call. I found the volume very low and distant sounding. The person I was calling had to ask me to speak up a few times during the call so not sure how the mics on these are. Seems like they're not sensitive enough?

I have quite a few security cameras in my place but this was a nice change of pace from my other ones.
I have a complete security camera setup with 6 different cameras placed around my place; both indoor and outdoor. I got this one to supplement those in addition to being the "floater" camera since this one is able to pan/tilt.
All my other cameras are static and only point in one direction which is both good and bad. I have great coverage around my place to ensure I get a complete 360 view of my place and outdoor area. This one is great in that I use it indoors. This camera can pan/tilt so I'm able to view a greater area easily without the need of mounting more cameras indoors.
The companion app for this is pretty simple and intuitive. Setup is pretty straight forward and only took 10 minutes to complete everything. Once setup, you can pan/tilt the camera as needed, you can get motion alerts (for people or cars) as well as setup a schedule of when the light bulb turns on/off.
I'll admit my setup of this camera isn't quite optimal by most accounts. However, as this is supplementing my existing camera system, I think it fills a niche that my other camera couldn't. If you don't have ANY sort of camera or security system in your place, this would be a decent start provided you have a suitable location to set this up in.

When I initially saw this, I asked myself....why? What can this possibly do/add to the gaming experience for me? But, after a bit of playing around with this, I kinda like it.
Basically, this is the rumble function from your controller, plus sized, for your chair. I never thought having a haptic cushion for my chair would even make sense. However, I'm slowly getting used to this and I like it.
This is a universal chair cushion that hooks up to your PC via USB or phone app. You will need to download the PC app to get this paired and setup so, just so you know. You're able to control/update the settings in the PC app or on the side of the cushion using the push buttons.
This works by turning loud sounds in-game into vibrations. Anything that's really bass heavy like explosions or bombs really puts out a strong vibration which is kinda cool. However, I noticed the feedback you get is really game dependent. For example, Playing Destiny 2, only loud crashes or big booms really sent out a big vibration while gunfire was pretty minimal. Playing Delta Force on PC, the gun shots came through really strong as did most other game sounds. I was pleasantly surprised that while playing Red Dead Redemption 2, riding your horse did give some slight feedback which was pretty cool. I thought it could've been more but intense but, oh well.
The one big complaint I had with this was with the power cord. It's 6 feet long and quite stiff. Having this on your chair can become a slight irritation as you're some what limited to how far you can move your chair. You HAVE to get the cord off the ground, otherwise you will run over it with your chair wheel. I routed my power cord through the back of my chair (which works fine) but now I'm somewhat limited in the movement of my chair. If they made the cable either longer or less rigid than that would be great.
Overall though, I'm finding myself really liking this cushion. At the very least, it's an extra cushion for your chair which never hurts. Also to note, since this works off sound, the chair will vibrate when watching Netflix, YouTube videos or basically anything that has sound.

I'm a big fan of glass screen protectors as I use them on pretty much all my devices. I have ones for my phone, watch, iPad as well as other handheld electronics. I've seen all these high tech ones as well as the super cheap variety and, honestly, there's not a huge difference between them other than pricing.
I've used ZAGG and other more recognizable brands when it comes to screen protectors. I've used these when they first came out as PET film screen protectors. And in all my time, I've not noticed any major benefits/differences between these high dollar brand versus the cheap ones you can get from other online retailers. As such, whenever I get a new device, I'll generally get the cheaper variety since they cost way less than something like this.
While this one is a nice screen protector, I find it wildly overpriced. Something like this, at most, should be around $20 if that. This one being almost $60 is just way too overkill for me. You can easily find a screen protector for 1/10 the price elsewhere.

I've seen/used quite a few different cases for my iPhone 16 Pro Max and this one is somewhere in the middle of the pack. I have a white iPhone so the clear cases are the ones I usually get. This one is pretty good and has a nice kickstand along with MagSafe.
For most of my cases, I usually prefer slim/medium sized ones. Ones that are slim enough to not be super bulky but yet offer some decent drop protection. This one fits that bill pretty nicely.
While I don't use the kickstand, it is nice that it's there should I ever need it. Every once in awhile, if I'm at a cafe or something, I can just plop my phone down and still use it with the kickstand up. Naturally, I use headphones when doing this.
The biggest gripe I have with this case, as well as many other cases, is the cut out for the new camera button. I've only seen one manufacturer actually cover this button with a capacitive button and not sure why other case manufacturers haven't picked up on this? Like so many others, the cut out for the camera button is just that...a cut out. This exposes the button, and in some other instances, part of the phone frame to dust, damage, etc. While the cutout is usable, it's still a bit shallow so you kind of have to run you finger along the button a couple times in order to actuate the button.

Excellent laptop for everyday use
ByLouRevuefromWashington, DC
Having had the chance to use this laptop, I must say it’s quite an impressive model for almostn any use. With an abundance of features housed in a sleek, stylish body, it’s a solid laptop for anyone in the market for a new/replacement laptop.
Using a 7th gen i5 dual core processor, the laptop functions on par with just about any laptop in its price range. With 8GB of RAM (12GB max) and a 1TB hard drive, it offers plenty of speed and room for all your files and enough power/speed to perform almost any task.
As far as the aesthetics go, this is an impressive looking laptop with clean lines, brushed aluminum cover and beveled edges. It’s a very nice looking laptop no doubt and the design, overall, is quite appealing. It comes with a full size keyboard as well as backlit keys which is a nice touch. Only gripe with the keyboard are the arrow buttons as the Up/Down buttons are smaller due to keyboard layout. The power button is on the right side of the laptop which is a bit unique as well as a dedicated volume button. There are 2 USB 3.0 ports as well as 1 USB 2.0 port, HDMI, SD Card and USB-C port. There is no CD drive for anyone wondering. The laptop (closed) is only about ¾ inch tall however it’s a bit wider than most due to the full size keyboard.
Power/performance. Using a dual-core processor I was under the impression this would be relatively slow and have choppy performance when opening multiple programs. Being this is the latest gen processor from Intel, this is not the case. Opening 2-3 programs at once was done with relative ease and switching between them was pretty flawless. The 8GB RAM comes in quite handy here and even with a 5400 RPM HDD, this laptop was able to perform tasks with very good speed. Battery life is pretty good. Using it “normally” and leaving it on for about 5-6 hours, there was about 50% battery left. Also, one very noteworthy benefit to this laptop, it doesn’t get that hot when left on for long periods of time which is VERY nice.
The display is probably the most impressive feature on here. A full 1080p display is quite vibrant and displays bright and dark colors extremely well. Those wanting to watch Netflix/Hulu will have no issues with the display. In addition to visuals, the sound from this laptop is equally impressive. For watching movies or just playing music, the speakers on this laptop deliver quite nicely without too much reverberation or distorted sound.
One of my initial thoughts of this being a 2-in-1 was that the tablet was an afterthought/gimmick. Having used previous 2-in-1 laptops, I was expecting the tablet functionality to be quite lackluster. Again, this was not the case. In this unit, you have, both, a well built laptop as well as tablet on-the-go device. Once in tablet mode, the screen orients itself to that of a normal tablet using Windows Tiles. Touch sensitivity is surprisingly smooth and using paint programs worked well without any lag or drops in sensitivity. Using the tablet form works really well when you want to sit back and watch videos or movies. Very nice.
A couple concerns with this laptop were;
The hard drive. While it’s a large 1TB drive, I would’ve expected something, at least, in the 7200 RPM range. Being fast enough for normal business related tasks, anyone wanting to use this laptop for video editing or other processor intensive jobs might find it to be a bit slow. This can easily be remedied by replacing the HD for a faster spindle drive or a SSD. However it would’ve been nice to have a tad faster hard drive here. The keyboard, for me, took a bit getting used to since I have previously used standard laptop keyboards without the number pad. This is a personal preference so nothing against the design. Just noting that those of you used to that type of laptop keyboard, there will be a bit of learning curve involved however I think the addition of the number pad is great thing and should be standard on all laptops. While the brushed aluminum case is aesthetically appealing, I’m a little concerned about it getting scratched/dinged from normal use or if when you’re changing it to be used as a tablet. This is the case with some laptops that use this metal casing so just something to be aware of.
Overall, this is an impressive laptop, reasonably priced with enough up-to-date technology that will last you for several years to come. Being that it’s a 2-in-1, it’s an added bonus which allows you to use this device in ways you should be able to do and with relative ease. There is some bloatware included (this should be no surprise) so make sure to uninstall/delete the stuff you don’t need. Aside from a somewhat slow hard drive, the other features on this laptop more than make up for it. Very nice buy for a new work laptop or student.
It took a bit of time to setup my laptop as well. Have you tried uninstalling the bloatware on this laptop? I did and I don't have any issues with boot speed or anything else on my laptop.

Can an owner of the original non active 65t comment on the fit and stability difference with the active version? Curious if that and the extra IP rating is worth a look, or negligible.
I own both the active and regular 65T's and I don't see any noticeable difference between them. Aside from the IP rating, there's really not much difference. Both fit exactly the same and fit pretty snugly in the ear.
Brighten your day and night with this Philips Being Hue ceiling light. The dimming function lets you set an ambience for different moods, and it works with the Philips Hue dimmer switch and mobile app for versatile control. The ZigBee technology of this 32W Philips Being Hue ceiling lamp provides smooth, efficient interoperability with multiple Hue lighting units.
Can this light be controlled by a existing wired wall switch? I plan to replace the light that is already there with this one, but I would prefer to use the wired switch.
Yes you can...that's what I did. One thing to note is that the light won't come on immediately like your current light fixture does. There's a second or two delay after you flip the switch. I'm planning on replacing the switch with a dimmer switch so maybe that will correct the delay.
