A great mouse for gaming and everything else

Let me start off by saying that I have been playing computer games for many years. I would consider myself to be an above average player on most games. I don't get into as much as some because I like the raw feeling of playing without X tools. Well, this is one time where I can say that I missed out.
For years, I have played with the standard wired mouse that came with the computer or have used the wireless laptop mice that I have acquired here and there. The Logitech G703 certainly made a difference. I love the feel and the response was amazing. I can't quantify the difference in my game play, but I can say that I felt the speed increase doing certain things.
I also feel that this mouse is great for everyday computing. The fact that you can use it wired or wireless is nice. As someone that travels for work, I think that is a huge plus. Much like being at home, if the battery goes, I can then switch it up and not miss a beat searching for a new battery. That brings me to another perk of this beauty. The rechargeable battery is great. If I recall, the charging process didn't take long and the battery life has been exceptional.
Getting into the physical features of the mouse, there is a lot to like. I love the feel of the body between the coated top and the rubber coated sides. It makes it easy to handle and it doesn't feel awkward at all. I also think the button and wheel placements are spot on. The coolest feature is of course the color changing. This isn't a must for me, but the kids got a kick out of it. I look forward to playing with that more through the app as time moves on. For now, I like the scrolling colors for entertainment.
The lone con that I have is that it seems to be built for right handed people. It's okay to use with your left hand, but it certainly has a different feel due to the arcing of the top. I have used some universal/symmetric ones in the past and that would have been nice here. However, it's not a huge turnoff unless you use the mouse with your left hand.

It's good, but could be better

The DeLonghi - MultiFry 1.8-Quart Multi Cooker is a very simple, but unique kitchen appliance. I have had my fair share of fried food over time and this was something I was dying to try out. As someone that tries to eat healthier, I was hoping this would help me accomplish that while leaving the taste intact on some of the favorites for me, my wife, and our kids. After a few experiments, I think I have an idea on what it's good for and what needs to be improved.
First, the good. I love how easy it is to prep and clean with this. If you have something remotely close to what's in the included recipe book, the guesswork is eliminated. Unless you are doing some major prep work, like cutting up potatoes, this can be a very easy meal preparer much like a slow cooker is for some. Once you have your meal ready, set the power level, turn on the heat, and press start. Set a timer on the stove, the fryer, or your phone and return when it's done. After you are all done, the clean up is pretty easy too. You can remove the inserts and cover to clean them as needed. My wife and I have enjoyed that portion of the show.
Now, the middle road. We had mixed reviews on some of the items that we tried to cook. Our initial voyage was with corn on the cob. We thought it came out well, but it still wasn't like the fresh of the grill that we all love. However, it was easy prep, cooking, and clean-up. On the flip side, we tried to make sweet potato fries. We cut up some fresh potatoes, added oil, and set our time. We felt these didn't turn out any better than what we could do in a toaster over. That's not to say they were awful, but we expected more. Yes, a sweet potato is different than a regular one, but the recipe made it seem like it would be so much better.
Unfortunately, there are a few bads. It is definitely louder than any slow cooker or toaster oven that I have ever used. We have an open floor plan where you can watch TV while doing meal prep. I have a very good sound system that I have to turn up to hear things over the fryer. The next thing is kind of a feature wish as well. While a detachable timer is nice, it would be great if you could set it to control the power like you can with other items. At this point, it's like being by the grill or deep fryer depending on what you are cooking. Yes, there are some items you can start and walk away for a bit, but you better be comfortable with the power setting or you'll take a chance on overcooking your food.
At this point, I wouldn't say it's the best or worst small appliance in the world. I do plan to try to perfect my skills using it and I hope that it will change my mind on some of the negatives that I have come across. I do agree with some that this is super nice for college or apartment living. I think this might something for the lake house or cabin in the woods too. A nice chance to fry something without a ton of prep and oil.

It's good, but not as my primary

Let me first start out by saying this is the first toe that I have dipped into the robot vacuum waters. I know others that have them and they swear by them as efficient time savers. I know that is something I was looking to gain with the Samsung POWERbot R7040.
When I received the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find the pieces to a minimum and the setup to be somewhat easy. As this was my introduction to using one, I did read the manual and I found it to be very informative. It was very thorough in telling me how to set up my base and how long it would take to charge the POWERbot. After it was charged, I gave it a test run. Unfortunately, I missed the part in the manual that told me that the POWERbot would follow the same pattern as the setup on the base. If the base and bot face North/South, then that's the way it will maneuver around the room. I left mine at an angle and it proceeded to to move that away around the room. It was annoying, but I dealt with it. I did change it to be more of a simple patter after that.
From a cleaning perspective, I noticed that it was very thorough on carpet as well as hardwood. I am not sure that I noticed enough of a change with the suction power between the two, but I did adjust it with the included remote. While not a big deal, it would be nice if it were more noticeable so you don't have to worry about it. My biggest concern with it is the battery life. The POWERbot definitely burns through a lot of battery on high power so those lighter cleanings on lower power should resort in more floors coverage. Regardless, I don't think I ever saw it leave anything behind unless it was too close to the wall or an obstacle like a table leg.
I also gave the Samsung app a whirl and I found it to be decent, but not something I would rely on. It could use some more details, but it works similarly to the remote. Yes, this is a part of the package with buying it, but I can't really knock it for this purpose alone.
Lastly, I have a two-story home and unless I move everything this little guy is not going to be my primary vacuum for the whole house. I do feel it is a great supplemental addition to a situation like ours. It can work on the main level while I tackle things upstairs with our upright. It will definitely save some time for anyone whether you have children or pets at home. That scheduled option of cleaning an area will be very handy with their dirty little paws.

Great power in a little package

When I first got the box, I could feel the weight more toward one side of the box. From previous experiences, I thought the subwoofer was packing a good amount of weight. Well, imagine my shock when I realized the bulk of that weight was coming from the soundbar. It is clearly packing some quality speakers.
As you can see in the picture, the weight is packed in a small package. However, that size is not an indicator of its abilities though. I have found the performance to be very good whether I was watching TV, playing games, or streaming from other devices. Since I have an older TV, I think the quality could be even better when I upgrade that.
Getting back to the specifics of the Polk Magnifi Mini Sound Bar, I found the WiFi, Bluetooth, and Chromecast connections all work well and with little effort to connect them. I was able to stream via all of those methods with great quality. The only issue that I had with connections was the use of my TV remote to the sound bar. I tried to follow the directions several times, but I couldn't get it to connect. I reviewed the included guides and online materials a few times and still couldn't solve it with those.
Ultimately, I love this device with it's size, performance, and price point taken into account. I also love how it blends into my setup and provides the sound I need to enjoy movies, sports, and music. With that being said, here are some pros and cons to help to the value and what can be better.
Pros:
1. For most of your connecting points or options, they have provided them for you. The only one missing is the ethernet cable if you prefer that route over the WiFi.
2. The Soundbar is small. but contains enough speaker power to overcome that.
3. The subwoofer is wireless and the connection is established from the time you open the box. This thing really bumps when the right content is being played. The family loves feeling the vibration from time to time.
4. We are an Android house and the ability to use Chromecast is a huge plus. I really think this tool is a winner for Google Home.
5. The ability to elevate the voice over the ambient sounds. The Night mode and dedicated voice controls work well when you need to hear the dialogue over everything else.
Cons:
1. I do like the ability to control the voice, but it would be nice to not sacrifice the bass at times. An equalizer with more detail would result in better performance of course.
2. The inability to get the remote from my TV service to control the volume for the Magnifi Mini Sound bar was a bummer. Nobody likes the multiple remote game.
3. If it wasn't for my TV stand, I would have been lost with a wall-mounted TV. I would have had to find a stand to place it on or a mounted a shelf for it.

Very good, but could be better

I won't claim to be an audiophile or sound expert by any means, but after almost 40 years of listening to music I know what sounds good. The Sony XB950B1 Wireless Headphones certainly allow one to enjoy the sounds that they love. I have tried these out on several different avenues and I think the overall performance is worth the price.
The first endeavor was listening to heavy and fast music via the Bluetooth connection. I didn't run into any hiccups in playback like you experience with some regardless of how close the source is to you. The music was crisp and clean. I also turned the Bass Effect on and off a few times to truly picture what the addition brings to the table. I thought the music sounded good both ways, but I feel like there could be a happy medium between them.
The second avenue was actually through a phone call. Since I discovered it had a mic, I figured it's something that might occur if I am connected to my phone and I better be prepared. My friend was in the car and said he could hear my just fine. It felt a little strange to me, but the quality appeared to above average on both sides. i could clearly hear him and he could clearly hear me.
The third test was utilizing the wired connection to my PC. As a parent who likes to game, there's nothing worse than having to kill the volume when everyone's sleeping. With that being said, I thought these did an excellent job of picking up the main sounds as well as the ambient sounds of the environments that I encountered.
The final test was wired to my phone. I thought the music quality was good, but no where near as good as the Bluetooth streaming that I did earlier. I wish you could still control the Bass Effect on the headphones without turning it on, but that's not an option.
In general, these headphones are top notch. Are they the best? No, but it's really hard to bash them if you aren't paying attention. Even though they are noise cancelling, I think they do an excellent job of covering the ear and eliminating everything around you. I know that I was unable to hear other things with them on. I do wish there were two other things. The first is the ability to fold them up and the second is a carrying case/bag. Without those, traveling is made more difficult.

Pixel XL is better than most, not quite all though

When I unboxed the Pixel XL, I wasn't to sure what I was going to find. I can tell you that I was pleasantly surprised by it.
The first thing that I did was compared it to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The size is pretty comparable and the weight is close as well. The screen comparison was the next thing that I looked at. The Pixel XL's screen is a little smaller, but it's very crisp in its presentation. The colors pop nicely and the video playback is smooth. It is definitely top notch and will be nice to have for travel with kids.
To go along with the crisp video playback, I thought the sound was pretty clear too. The volume is certainly better than the S7 Edge with its speaker setup. It takes me back to the HTC One M7 that I once owned. The speaker combination and volume level helps bring it to another level.
The last thing that I wanted to mention was the Google Assistant. I thought this was a nice addition to the Android OS. It's certainly their version of Apple's Siri and with time, it may be very useful. As it learns more about you, I can see it truly becoming the assistant that they envisioned.
All in all, I thought the performed quite well. It would have been nice if the "buttons" and bezel were lessened to create more screen room. Some will be hung up on the 2 different surfaces on the body, but I like contrasts and I think that is what they were going for. While this phone doesn't go above and surpass the others, it certainly puts itself in the conversation when you are looking to acquire that new phone.

When I first discovered this router, I was blown away by the size of it. The appearance of this router makes you think that it will perform and it certainly did. While the size is a slight negative, it does show you that it's durable and can handle the load.
It took me a little bit of time to set it up, but I think that was more on the side of my ISP's setup. Once I got by that, it was pretty seamless to get it going. All of devices connected without issue and the performance was great. I look forward to testing it out with more streaming in the long run.

The first impression was a good one. After unboxing the Spectre, I placed it on my desk and my 8" tablet was next to it. Even closed, the laptop was clearly thinner than the tablet. That is how you make a great first impression. The second thing that I noticed was the weight of the machine. It is easily the lightest laptop that I have ever held.
Now, how does it perform. I am still getting familiar with Windows 10 so it's a little foreign to me, but I am liking it. I think a combination of the OS and the build contribute to the quickness that this laptop brings to the table. Combining that with the vivid screen, you have yourself a beautiful and wonderfully performing laptop.
My lone negative is the keyboard. I know it's thin so the option of backlit keys wasn't going to happen. I am a big fan and wish that was available in some fashion. The other thing is the design of the keys. HP clearly wanted to condense things for the size, but having to hit the function key to hit some pretty common keys is cumbersome. I am sure I will get used to it with time, but I like the standard keyboard layout better.
Overall, it's a great machine that will travel well when I need it. I would recommend this for anyone looking to have great performance in a ultra-thin laptop.

What can I say?!?! This was a very easy product to setup and the results were great. I had issues with WiFi coverage on my lower level so I installed this little guy to try and solve that. The directions were easy to follow and the process wasn't difficult at all. All in all, I think it took 5 minutes to complete the setup and the WiFi seeking items on my lower level were good to go. I would recommend this option to anyone having dead zone issues.

I was a little skeptic about taking this Acer for a spin, but I was pleasantly surprised. This tablet is very responsive and provides a decent picture. I thought the battery life handled itself well and it charged and a decent rate. There are also some Acer specific apps installed on the tablet already. After checking them out, they appear to be well done and very useful. Big props to them.
The only knock that I can give it is the internal memory. With my other mobile devices I have set the bar at 32GB and I hit that eventually. I would like to see an option around there in this size of a tablet. It is compensated for with an external addition, but that is never a true problem solver.

Please disregard the aforementioned missing backlit keyboard lines. I have found it and I am not sure how I didn't find it over the weeks of usage before the review. Thank you to the two comments or I would never continued the quest for it.
