The TP-Link Deco X60 WiFi 6 AX3000 Whole-Home Mesh Wi-Fi System is a terrific solution to build a mesh network across a good size home or area. For me, I have 3000+ sq ft of living space across three floors. We did have our areas of slow performance and dead spots so this was a welcomed addition. My previous solution was adequate, but this is definitely a step up.
To start, the TP-Link Deco X60 WiFi 6 AX3000 is super quick to set up. Between the opening directions on the box and the ones in the app, it doesn’t get much easier than this. With the firmware updates, I think the setup time was around 20 minutes. Depending on your location, it could be less since I was trying to find the perfect placement for each cylindrical node. After that, it was just walking through everything on-screen and watching the colors on the nodes.
As far as the speed goes, I am very impressed. I performed tests from my laptop, phone, and desktop. The first two were clearly wireless and the latter was hardwired. There was definitely no degradation between solutions as this was an upgrade from my previous mesh solution. I did see some improvement in the wireless speeds and my hope is that I will see more soon. I’m in the progress of upgrading my service with my ISP so I look forward to really testing the speeds after doing so.
The ultimate test for networks is when the family is all pounding away at it. Since we have two people working from home full-time and two kids, our network is constantly being asked to perform. My kids were both playing away at their tablets, one gaming and one streaming, while we were both on video conferences. I didn’t see any issues whatsoever. I was super impressed since I was starting to see some lag at various times depending on what we were doing with the old solution.
Lastly, I look forward to seeing what the lifetime subscription to HomeCare brings over time. I certainly enjoy the extra parental controls as well as anti-malware settings. This is all pretty easy to establish and use. I have been using the tools for about a week now and found some minor tweaks that I needed to make, but I think that’s normal when changing tools or adding new functionality to your network. Having it all in the palm of my hand is very convenient though.
All in all, I found the TP-Link Deco X60 WiFi 6 AX3000 Whole-Home Mesh Wi-Fi System to be very worthwhile and great for our household. I know there are some sites that will claim it’s a mid-level solution at best, but I think that depends on your needs. For our family of four, this more than met those needs and surpassed them.

After going through a few rounds of physical and occupational therapy over the last two years, I have wanted to pick up a good TENS machine. Well, enter the Beurer EM 59 Digital TENS/EMS Device to my rescue. Not only does this help with pain relief, but it does so much more.
Upon opening the box, I was very impressed with how everything was packaged as well as what was included. It includes the device, 4 electrodes, a belt clip, a power cable, and a guide. After reviewing several other options, the Beurer EM 59 Digital TENS/EMS Device was a better option than most because of its portability and the fact that it was rechargeable. Too many other options were plug-in only or required actual batteries. The first thing the instructions tell you is to charge it for a minimum of 4 hours. Since then, I have gotten a full week of use with some juice left in the tank. I am thoroughly impressed.
My first voyage was working on some shoulder tension. I was able to combine the TENS option along with the heat to take care of the pain for some much needed relief. After that, I transitioned to using the TENS on some persistent elbow tendonitis. This was one of the main issues that led me to physical/occupational therapy. Yes, that was a very large, medical grade machine, but I felt the Beurer EM 59 Digital TENS/EMS Device held its own and gave me the much needed relief that I required. I was extremely happy to get that same type of comfort at home.
Later in the week, I was able to check out one of the 64 different EMS pre-programmed applications. I performed a session on my quads with #19 to tone the thigh muscles. It was an interesting feeling at first, but then the cycle started to feel more comfortable as it progressed. I look forward to instituting this more into my regiment and with other muscle groups that I am working on. This was a new experience that I didn’t know much about, but I am glad I have this to help. It’s definitely an added bonus to all of the TENS desires/needs that I have.
All in all, I think Beurer EM 59 Digital TENS/EMS Device would be a great addition to anyone looking for pain relief or an added kick to their workout regiment. The only little knock that I have is the heating element. I would like a little more heat in there, but that is also a personal preference. It’s not awful. I just prefer more. Outside of that, I love the screen and the ease of use of the device. The length of the cable to the electrodes is certainly good and I’ve already professed my pleasure with the battery life. I am glad I have one and I know others will be happy once they have it as well.

The Twinkly Smart Light Tube-Flex 200 RGB LED Gen II is a pretty great piece for an entertainment, gaming, or special area in your house. I have heard about the greatness of Twinkly for a while and this is my first personal experience with the company.
I could obviously see what I was getting into before purchasing it, but I was impressed when I first opened the box. Inside I found the flexible light tube, the instructions, several templates that you can follow, and then the bracketing/tape pieces to put it up. It was pretty easy to assemble, set up, and adjust for the most part. When they say “flex”, it really lives up to billing. It will take a little bit to get it out its original coil, but after that, it’s good to go.
The Twinkly application is simple, but does have a few flaws. One big thing to pay attention to is the frequency of your Wi-Fi. I usually run my phone on the 5 GHz , but I had to shift over to the 2.4 GHz because that’s the only supported frequency for things. After getting through that, it was easy to change the colors, set the timer, or check other options. One thing that I still can’t get to work is the mapping of the lights. I am encountering errors every time I try it and I haven’t found a resolution yet. I’ve updated the firmware, rebooted the phone, disconnected and reconnected the network, but I still can’t get the light to map with the app. It would be nice to check out more of the functionality with that in place. Taking that away, I am actually pleased with the app. It would be nice to take the timer out of 24h format though. Very minor, but still something the developers should consider. Also on the app front, I am working on getting it to pair and work with my Razer Chroma Studio. That one is a little tougher to figure out, but it does work. It will be cool to have it synced with everything at some point.
I am in the middle of remodeling my gaming area so I haven’t mounted it on the wall just yet. However, I did play with it and it’s pretty easy to maneuver. You will need to use the brackets to hold it in place. I look forward to figuring out my design and making it happen soon. Until then, I am using it for ambient lighting and fun when the kids use the room. All in all, it’s pretty cool and functional. I can’t wait to have it up permanently and maybe have it as a talking piece for meetings. It will certainly help to create my own “brand”. I will definitely look at Twinkly products more in the future after my maiden experience with the Twinkly Smart Light Tube-Flex 200 RGB LED Gen II.

The Oster RapidCrisp Digital Air Fryer Oven is a 9-function countertop oven that comes with some nice little features. The nine functions are Air Fry, Toast, Bake, Convection, Broil, Dehydrate, Keep Warm, Defrost, and Fries. These are selected by turning a dial on the oven. Even though it’s taller than most in this price range, the narrower body packs a lot of functionality and power. Honestly, that can be a good and bad thing. Also included with this is an air frying basket, baking pan, wire rack, and a removal tray for any crumbs that fall. This Oster oven also has digital touch control for your temperature, time, and to start or stop the process.
Let me start with the good. As I mentioned before, the Oster RapidCrisp Digital Air Fryer Oven packs a lot of power within this smaller footprint. We learned our lesson quickly that it heats up fast and our usual timing didn’t apply. We haven’t tested everything, but the Air Fry, Bake, Keep Warm, Convection, and Fries all worked very well. The controls are easy to use and setting things up inside the oven are pretty self-explanatory as well. Even our 12 year old son figured it out quickly. Everything that we cooked, reheated, or toasted was easily cleaned up too. I like that everything is dishwasher safe, but I will probably hand wash everything to be safer. The last thing that I want to mention about the rack, basket, and pan is that you can put them in at the same time to try and expedite your cooking process. That’s something that a lot of units don’t bring to the table. Whether that was intended or not, it works out nicely. I can have something heating up on the wire rack and then something else on the pan finishing its process.
Unfortunately, this Oster oven has some negatives that I want to point out as well. The claim on fitting a 12” pizza is barely true. There’s not much room to spare so that means you are forced to cook it on the wire rack instead of a pizza pan or stove. And if you are going to boast about cooking a pizza, then you have to have the pizza button on the model. That’s just my opinion. Transitioning that to the cooking/baking side of things, how can you not have a preheating process? Every toaster/convection oven that we have had prior to this came with that functionality. Granted, it does say in the guide to allow time for it, but that seems like a cover your tracks type of thing. It does heat up quickly, but we all know that preheating can make or break a meal sometimes. Another thing that I wasn’t happy with was the preset times and temps for some of the functions and having to use the digital buttons to adjust them. Starting at 325 degrees for 30 minutes and then having to adjust the time down to 10 minutes was painful. I tried holding it to see if it would jump in increments, but it did not. That meant I had to push the button to go down minute by minute. That was painful considering that it wasn’t registering all of the time either. From a toasting standpoint, I was not impressed. I’ve never had to crank a unit up so much to get some toasting to occur. It seemed like settings 1-3 are there for warming and a slight crisp. I shouldn’t have to “toast” something for 6 minutes to get some coloring. Lastly, I know the 12-function has it and it would be great if this one had a light too. Losing that heat to open the door and check something isn’t the best.
On a whole, the Oster RapidCrisp Digital Air Fryer Oven is a good little unit. Since we haven’t tried to dehydrate or defrost anything yet, I think it’s best suited for air frying, baking (convection and non), broiling, and keeping things warm. The high powered heat works best for those functions and really expedites the cooking process. This would be a great unit for someone with limited counter space to help with cooking or not heat up the big oven for a solo meal.

The AIRPOP Light SE Black Mask is a very nice mask to have on hand for many different situations. I say that because they are very lightweight and comfortable. Our family has been wearing cloth masks for most of the pandemic so this is a nice change of pace.
On first encounter, it may seem a little stiff and might not look comfortable. However, that changes once you put it on. The ergonomic wing design along with the cushioned nose seal really help a ton here. It seems a bit strange when you first look at that nose seal, but it feels great when you get everything set in place. I am also a big fan of the adjustable ear loops as well. It really helps to form that seal and to control that pressure the masks can put on the ears.
My daughter did the ultimate test by wearing it to school for an entire day. She said it didn’t present any issues and she was able to breathe easily throughout the entire day. She also liked how it sat a little further from her nose and mouth. She said it was like she wasn’t as trapped in there. In the several times that I have worn mine, I can echo that as well. It’s like having a respectably sized beak. It provides a greater freedom and allows for better breathability while providing the much needed protection.
All in all, this is a great mask and I recommend it for many different reasons. The comfortable nose seal is a huge reason for that. The other big one is the contoured shape that allows this mask to be used by all shapes and sizes.

Let me start off by saying that this is the largest monitor I have ever had the pleasure of owning and it’s my first endeavor into the curved monitor world. I have a triple monitor mount and have the Dell S3222DGM 32” curved monitor in between two 27” monitors. The first thing that I noticed is that it’s a different game trying to position everything around the 32” curved beast. Once I got past the size of it, it was time to play with it.
The Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitor – S3222DGM boasts AMD FreeSync 2 technology and contrast ratio of 3000:1 with a refresh rate of 144-165Hz depending on your input selection. Either way, I can certainly say that the gameplay has been impressive. Whether it was some FPS fun with Fortnite or flying fun with Star Wars: Squadrons, I didn’t see any flickering with the blacks or the vibrant colors on-screen. I definitely see the upgrade from my previous primary gaming monitors. From a setup perspective, this couldn’t be any easier. You have your choice of 1 DisplayPort or 2 HDMI ports to connect to. Then you have your power cable and a 3.5mm jack for those that want to connect headphones to it.
For those like me, you may want to utilize the VESA certified mounting option. This is one of two little dings/issues that I came upon and this could just be my mounting system for my monitor arm. The indentation for the VESA plate setup makes things a little difficult if you have a style that has a sliding/snapping solution to connect to the arm. I had to get creative to make it work because there isn’t enough room to slide it on because of the depth of that indentation. Most of the others that I have worked with mounted right to the back panel and not into an indentation. Again, I may seem like I am drilling on it, but I don’t hold it against Dell or the monitor as a whole. The look and performance totally make up for this little hassle.
The other little ding is the button placement on the back panel. If you don’t have a clear view or open path to the back panel, it could be a little difficult to adjust everything. Even after a few days of tinkering with settings, I was still hitting the wrong buttons or pushing the wrong way on the joystick. I am sure I will get by, but the placement could have been better. Luckily, there are a number of presets that will allow you to set it and forget it. That certainly helped me get up and running quickly.
Ultimately, I recommend the Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitor – S3222DGM for all gamers and entertainment enthusiasts. The versatility and style will appeal to all. For the RGB nut, the downlight on the bottom of the monitor is an added bonus. It does well to illuminate a good amount of desktop space while looking nice. The 1 to 2ms response time will certainly make everyone happy. When you have a clean, crisp, and beautiful picture that refreshes excellently, there aren’t too many things that you won’t like.

The JLab - JBuddies Studio Pro Over-Ear Headphones are a great addition for anyone with kids. Think about all of the things that trouble you when buying/giving kids headphones and these JBuddies check almost every box. I’ll get into those in a second, but the best feature is the decibel regulator switch on the right ear. Being able to limit the volume is a huge win in protecting a kid’s ears. I tested this out before handing them over to my 9 year old daughter and I didn’t feel like the quality suffered at all with that regulator.
Let’s get back to the other good things about the JLab JBuddies headphones. Most kids tend to be rough on their headphones and things like the cord start to get worn. Well, the braided nylon cord here seems to be very well built and it’s tangle free which is a plus. It also comes with a built-in mic and switch for use with phone calls or music. I found myself having to review the documentation on the number of button clicks and the associated function so it’s going to take the younger kids a bit to learn them. However, it’s nice to know that it can be used to play, pause, go to the next or previous track, and answer or hang up on phone calls. I also wish it had a volume wheel or rocker, but I won’t hold it against this set.
Another great thing is the comfort of the earcups. I have worn some that are circular or oval and they can be a little uncomfortable with my ear shape. My daughter also mentioned that another brand’s kid headphones hurt her ears as well. It’s because that circular design is putting pressure on her ear. Well, these JBuddies have a design that’s specifically built with the shape of ears in mind. It’s pretty impressive that they were able to do this. I really liked the feel of that shape coupled with their “cloud foam” pads. My daughter agreed as well. She tested it out while using her tablet. She was watching videos and playing games. She never once complained about the feel and still felt good afterwards since there was no pressure on her ear.
Ultimately, the JLab - JBuddies Studio Pro Over-Ear Headphones are a sharp, kid approved addition to our household. They have a stylish look while also providing a safe but quality sound for kid entertainment. They look and feel durable while also providing an option to fold them up for more compact storage. I think most parents of young children will appreciate these.

The Ultimate Utility Tool in Sleek Headphone Form

The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT High-Fidelity Gaming Headset is an impressive addition to anyone’s gaming setup. With the amount of connection options offered, I think of it like the ultimate utility tool of headsets. You have the standard USB dongle to connect to your PC, but then you also have the 3.5mm option to connect to devices that have that jack, a Bluetooth option, and a wired USB option. That’s unheard of and just simply awesome. As someone that likes to utilize a single item as much as possible, this totally helps out. I can bluetooth to my phone, USB dongle to my PC, and use the 3.5mm connection to the Switch without even having to think hard about it. Impressive versatility!
Clearly, I am impressed by its versatility, but there’s so much more to love. The appearance, even without setting up the RGB logo in iCUE, is so elegant and classy. The slate/aluminum appearance doesn’t scream like some gaming headsets with tons of color, but it catches the eye with an appearance of simplistic quality. I am big fan of peripherals that universally go with everything like accessorizing for a night out. I’d have no problem wearing these on a plane while jamming away or sitting at home during a business video call (that detachable mic will definitely have them hearing me clearly too). I think the look will definitely turn heads. Let me back up to the RGB logo for second though. This is certainly a subtle display of color. Obviously, the controls in iCUE allow you to change things up like setting it to a solid color or different patterns. Some may want a little more color exposure for their RGB accessories, but I don’t need it to overpower the other key features.
Not only does this headset boast a quality appearance, it also brings the quality in its superior sound. I thoroughly enjoyed my experiences while watching videos, streaming music, and gaming. I was even able to utilize the equalizer within iCUE to adjust it to my preferred settings on the PC. Even in the default setup, things were crisp and you can really tell CORSAIR invested a lot in this headset. The drivers produce some of the best that I have heard while gaming. I spent ample time playing Star Wars: Squadrons and hearing the smallest sounds is so impressive and definitely helps in the game. I can’t wait to test out on some other FPS and MMORPG offerings. I think it will greatly aid in my enjoyment and my in-game performance since I can hear things more clearly.
Another great feature is the detachable mic. Some may think this is just a novelty item, but it brings even more to the performance of this CORSAIR Virtouso headset. I was able to use it for a few calls and the folks on the other side had no problem hearing me and didn’t hear much of my background noise. That is great to know. The fact that I can detach it and put it away for later use is very nice. I’ve had the others that allow you to flip it up, but that’s still leaving a little weight for your head to absorb. Staying on the topic of the weight, I thought this headset sat nicely on my ears with the memory foam pads. I didn’t find them to be uncomfortable at all and the weight wasn’t overbearing. It’s certainly a transition from wearing earbuds, but compared to other headsets these are nice and light.
Lastly, let’s talk about what’s in the box. There’s the headset, the USB dongle, USB-C connection/charging cable, detachable mic, 3.5mm cable, setup guide, warranty information, and a carrying bag. From the moment you open the box, the quality and elegance is evident. As I mentioned, it continues the trend with its connection options and sound quality. I think any gamer, or multi-media lover, would love to have these in their possession. I highly recommend them as I know they won’t disappoint.

The ASUS - ROG Zephyrus 14" Gaming Laptop is a little beast. I am familiar with ASUS’ products, and I know “Gaming” is in the title, but I wasn’t expecting a 14” laptop to perform like this. Out of the box, the system was pretty much ready to play too. I had to go through some updates of course, but then I was able to download a gaming client and get right to it.
I really enjoyed what the ASUS - ROG Zephyrus 14" Gaming Laptop had to offer while pounding away at the keys. The Ryzen 9 processor and GeForce RTX 3060 had no troubles working with the games I threw at it. Combining that muscle with the 1080p f144HzFHD anti-glare display made for a beautiful visual while grinding away. I didn’t notice any screen tearing or pixelations. Everything was pretty smooth and the colors were vibrant throughout gameplay. Another thing to note is how quiet this system is. Even while pushing it with streaming and gaming, I didn’t hear as much at the top settings as I expected. Other laptops are drowning out the sound with their fans when being taxed less than this. With that being said, I will say that the heat does pick up a little bit during these times so I wouldn’t recommend leaving it on your lap during those long episodes of gaming.
There’s more than a great processor and excellent screen that contributed to my enjoyment too. The fact that there is a 1TB SSD is a godsend too. That certainly allows for quicker boot ups so that you can get to playing quicker. I also enjoyed the power button doubling as a fingerprint reader too. I am able to skip my usual crazy, long passwords or 8-10 digit codes and just keep my thumb there for an extra second or two...then I am in. It’s not the most reliable, but neither is the one on my cell phone either. It might tell me that it can’t read it, but I reposition my finger and I am good to go. I also want to mention how great the sound is. These speakers pack a punch for all your entertainment needs. They are quite powerful and produce some crisp sounds.
The backlit keyboard is another piece that is nice to have. I haven’t played with it a ton yet, but I want to take a look at things in the Armoury Crate and Aura Creator to see what I can do with it. For now, I don’t think I will be using the breathing or strobing effects. For the most part, the backlighting is good. However, there are some angles that can make it seem a little off. Part of this is using cool white lighting on silver keys. Some color variation on either the keys or the backlighting would be ideal here. It’s not a deal breaker, but could be improved upon in future iterations if they continue with the lineup.
All in all the ASUS - ROG Zephyrus 14" Gaming Laptop is a great system to have on the go or while at home for your gaming needs. At just under 4 pounds, it’s pretty easy to lug around. I’ve only known a couple of setups that could even rival this power at that size. They might be lighter, but they don’t come with this power or battery life. It’s insane how good it performs there. I can play for hours and not have to worry about where the charging cable is. I love it. You can’t go wrong with sleek, simple design that provides you almost everything you need for gaming.

The Panasonic - Soundslayer 2.1 soundbar is a nice upgrade for any means of gaming. It has the versatility to connect to your gaming console or PC via HDMI passthrough. There is also the option of using an optical connection or even Bluetooth. The optical connectivity would be optimal if you have multiple systems connected to your monitor or TV. The controls are fairly simple and you can adjust things using the control or the buttons on the side.
Generally speaking, the SoundSlayer soundbar provides excellent sound for as small as it is. Since it is just over 2” tall, it can easily squeeze into tight areas to stay out of the way. Case in point, I was able to slide it right under my 55” TV so it could be used to enhance the sound of our Switch. It fit in nicely and didn’t look out of place at all. As for connecting to my PC, it’s a little bulkier and stands out more than my 2 speaker setup. It’s not awful, but at just over 5” deep and 17” long, it takes up more real estate than I care to see.
Returning to the sound quality, it can really fill a room. You have the ability to make some sound adjustments to get exactly what you want too. There are Standard, Movie, Game, and Cinema setting options to match what you are watching or playing. There is also a subwoofer toggle to pump in as much bass as you desire. I found that they all perform well.
With all that being said, it’s not all glitter and gold. As many have stated, the HDMI passthrough results in a “blinking” of the screen when turning it on and off. It’s just an annoying thing to witness even though it is over quickly. The other thing is the LEDs on the front. I would prefer a better display to know what setting you are in because it’s going to take some time to get used to the LED placement and coloring to know what mode I am in. Also, those LEDs are constantly on so you are getting that added light when you are in a darker setting. That is certainly not ideal. Lastly, I am going to nitpick about the price point and not including at least one cable for connectivity is crazy.
All in all, the Panasonic - Soundslayer 2.1 can give your entertainment area a nice little boost without taking up a ton of space. It can certainly give you that better sound for your gaming needs or even your TV/movie watching.

The first impression was a good one. After unboxing the Spectre, I placed it on my desk and my 8" tablet was next to it. Even closed, the laptop was clearly thinner than the tablet. That is how you make a great first impression. The second thing that I noticed was the weight of the machine. It is easily the lightest laptop that I have ever held.
Now, how does it perform. I am still getting familiar with Windows 10 so it's a little foreign to me, but I am liking it. I think a combination of the OS and the build contribute to the quickness that this laptop brings to the table. Combining that with the vivid screen, you have yourself a beautiful and wonderfully performing laptop.
My lone negative is the keyboard. I know it's thin so the option of backlit keys wasn't going to happen. I am a big fan and wish that was available in some fashion. The other thing is the design of the keys. HP clearly wanted to condense things for the size, but having to hit the function key to hit some pretty common keys is cumbersome. I am sure I will get used to it with time, but I like the standard keyboard layout better.
Overall, it's a great machine that will travel well when I need it. I would recommend this for anyone looking to have great performance in a ultra-thin laptop.

Please disregard the aforementioned missing backlit keyboard lines. I have found it and I am not sure how I didn't find it over the weeks of usage before the review. Thank you to the two comments or I would never continued the quest for it.
